The sound equality is a 10/10, it's nice that it charges and you can use it while at charging, but I just charge it over night cuz the whole purpose of me buying this was for a wireless headphone. This headset is just as I expected, but if I HAD to improve this I would say- no auto turn off (this is prob. one of the most thing people hate about this headphone, when theres no audio playing on your PC for about 5-10 minutes it automatic turn off, you might think that is cool and save battery, but it's extemely annoying to have to keep taking off the headphone and turn it back on, the turn on button in pushed in the headset and it will take about 3 seconds of hold to turn it back on and you can't really do it while the headphone is over your head)- longer battery (you get about 9-10 hours of headphone use which is really not bad)- smaller size (the headset is big, bigger than I expected, it's about 2 inches wide on the part that goes over your ears)- smaller USB plug for laptop (I use a laptop and the piece is about an inch and a half long, which isn't a big deal with PC, but for laptop it's about annoying)Ok thats about it for me, I was being really picky about it, these things aren't big deal, overall I'm pleased with it.

I've always been hesitant about getting a wireless headset, but after accidentally yanking the wires out of the splice on two consecutive pairs of Creative Labs HS-980 Fatal1ty Professional Series MKII Gaming Headset (Black) I decided it was time to try wireless.The result has been fantastic.Not only do they sound as good if not better than my previous sets, but they have 7.1 surround instead of 5.1. They sound amazing.The wireless range is outstanding, I can go anywhere in my house and still have absolutely pristine reception.The volume wheel is great, especially when using the set to listen to music or have a conversation via Voip from another room away from the computer. It feels smooth and accessible.The programmable G-keys are fantastic, My personal usage is to bind one to next track, one to play/pause, and one bound to toggle mouse 5 (my push to talk button). The only downfall is that it apparently isn't possible to have it transmit while you hold the button down and stop when you release, in order to do push-to-talk from what I can see you have to do a toggle. (ie push it once you are transmitting, push again you stop). But still, the 3 G-keys and volume wheel let me use Voip and listen to music from away from my computer.The battery life seems great so far and the meter in the program seems accurate. I haven't gotten to put it to a full test yet, but I fully expect that it at least comes close to the 9-10 hours it claims. And when you need to charge, all it takes is plugging it in to the docking station or any usb to mini usb cable, and you don't even have to stop using them! So the only inconvenience charging poses is that you have to use it like a normal headset while it charges.It rests comfortably and doesn't hurt my ears even after hours of use.I would recommend this to anyone who is considering a wireless set. Especially if you're like me and you've destroyed one too many wired sets.

I could not be happier with this great headset. Sturdy build with good quality sound. Very comfortable for long term use. Only draw back is that it's a little on the heavy side, but still the most comfortable over the ear headset I've used. Highly recommend.

This headset is by far the best I've ever had! Great sound, easy setup! I have really tried to find fault, but the only thing I would say is that they can break easy, but that's the case with a lot of tech gear. Also, the software is way over simplified, but that will be a plus for some. Now, to respond to peoples complaints regarding the noise cancellation of the mic; just go into the software and remove the check from the "voice preview" setting. It's set on by default. Also turn the sidetone setting down as this can contribute to the problem. I can see why so many users are complaining, but come on...This took me the better part of 30 seconds to figure out after hearing the ambiance in my room while tweaking the software settings.Being in the I.T. field for 10 years I've seen many crazy complaints, and most of them are user error. I know that will make a lot of you mad, but it is what it is. I feel most of the negatives listed on this site are in fact user error, with the exception of a few truly defective units, which is another thing you cannot avoid 100%, it just happens (to me many times). Out of 100 you may find 3 that are defective no matter what the item. If you're having issues, and cannot find resolution, ask your kid to help you set them up.Anyway, these are great headphones, and a welcome addition to my new gaming machine I just built!

I ordered this item via a 3rd party amazon retailer "B&H Photo" and I've had it for about a week now. The sound quality is nice except for the fact that it randomly disconnects every 10-15 minutes regardless of which USB port I plug the dongle into. I have a wireless router about 8 feet away from the dongle with a wall and 4 layers of wood between them. I figured it was wireless interference but I've tried moving the dongle as far away from the router as I can but I cannot get this thing to stop randomly disconnecting.I expected a lot more from a pair of $170 headphones.Update: I changed the wireless channel of my router from 6 to 11 and it seems to have fixed the issue so far. Considering how many people have wireless routers and how many of them would know how to do this, I think this was a big oversight by Logitech.

I have been completely amazed with the sound quality of these headphones. It's definitely taken my music listening to a new level with 7.1 surround sound. I've played multiple new tracks from iTunes and the sound is incredibly clear and it's a joy to hear the tracks like they were meant to be heard without interference of sounds around the home or the acoustics of my office and family room altering the sound. I would be curious to know from Logitech exactly how many speakers are in the headphones and would love to see an "inside" picture on this products web page.As long as some volume of music is being played through these wireless headphones they are noise isolating and it's helps me to concentrate on whatever I'm doing.I'm currently using these for skype, music listening, and for listening to audiobooks while I move around the house. I have had no trouble with sound quality despite being at the other end of the house. There are also some interesting voice effects, none of which I cared for but gamers would probably enjoy them. I also like how they instantly mute my end of the conversation by simply flipping the mic up.The headphones are very well built although the comfort level could use some improvement. They also feel awfully heavy on. If your headphones run out of battery power, they can be charged while in use, and the cord is VERY long at around 6 feet. It also has a nice touch - the charging cord has a USB plug about 1/2 way down the cord so it doesn't displace anything currently plugged into your computer. The plug that charges the headphones is also very standard. It's the same one that charges my bluetooth, cell phone, and Western Digital My Passport drive.Gamers, music listeners, skype users, and audiobook listeners will probably enjoy these headphones as much as me, but at this price, they would have to serve more than one purpose. I wouldn't buy these to do just one of those things.Also, these worked just perfect for me on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I was looking for a wireless headset that I primarily would use for gaming, but also music and movies after hours. After using G930 for two days, I ended up returning them and opting for a wired Sennheiser PC360 headset. The primary turnoff with the G930 was constant choppy sound while playing games. At random intervals, the sound would cut off for a few seconds. I made sure I was running the latest software from Logitech. I tried several suggestions from forums to help the sound quality, such as disabling on-board sound cards, making sure the battery was fully charged, moving the receiver away from other wireless transmitters, and plugging the receiver directly into the motherboard's USB. I disabled my WiFi and have nothing else in my house using the 2.4GHz frequency and that did not help. The choppy sound occurred in several games and while playing music.On a positive note, the price was right at $120 and they felt solidly constructed and were comfortable. The ear cups do a good job of isolating outside noise. The mute and volume control built into the left ear cup was a nice addition. The mic seemed to work well and others said I sounded good.

I bought this headset around 3 months ago for my birthday and it was awesome. Clear when listening to music and gaming and love the bass on the headset. I liked everything about the headset except for a couple of things. The USB is really fragile , the headset falls off my head when looking down, and the mic doesnt stay up anymore after 2 months after purchase. Other than that, the headset is amazing.

This is an awesome headset, works as described.I would advise to pick up a ac to usb charger tho, i foundcharging from your pc does get bothersome. I usethe apple ipad charger to charge when i'm not usingcause i do't leave the pc on when i'm away.i would like to logictech develop this headset intoa karaoke type headset with a flash chip to upload tunes andhave the mic useable in singing with songs soyou to hear yourself in with the song.

Pros:Great sound quality and incredible bass ! And when I say bass trust me, bass is there.It can be slightly muddy in very rare occasions but only compared to a really tight real subwoofer.Great in game sound both from microphone and headphones. Crystal Clear ! Surround option is very nice for horror / thriller games or intense coops (ie. Left 4 Dead / Gears Of War )Also you can turn of surround sound just with flick of switch on headphones if you dont like the effect in that particular game or movie.If movie or game supports dolby or dts t, you hit the jack pot. A surround that nearly matches my analog 7.1 speakers comes out of these headphones.Great interface both by software and hardware.Software uses very little ram whilist giving you lots of features like adjusting dolby surround effect of particular positions or creating g-key or voice morphing profiles.Very simple hardware interface."Big fat" and "easy to find with your left" volume slider.Above that the g-keys and just at the back of your hand dolby swith and on / off switch.Really great wireless base with extension/charge cable that gives the freedom of wireless even if you are out of battery which takes more than 8 hours with hardcore using.Great isolation.You hear very little of outside and thats good because you can still hear very lightly if your phone or door ring although it may be hard to hear while in a gunfight.Nonetheless great isolation !Very good range even through walls.Cons:Maybe feel like little tight at first and takes time to adjust but after that you feel good.Logitech should offer ready to download g-key profiles for games and apps like they did with their gamepads, keyboards and mouse.Logitech also should rearrange their forums for people to gather and talk about their products more easyly.There is no established community because of this.OverallDefinitely Recommended for :you to buy for yourself or as a gift.

I'm real happy i spent so much on these headphones. Despite their high price, they are VERY well built. My pitbull got a hold of them while i was out of the house and they stood up to the abuse that the dog layed on them. The sound quality is better then any headset i've had to date. With surround sound input these headphones are perfect. In addition the software that logitech put out for these is very easy to use, with a lot of great features.

Hello,I opted for an upgrade last month for my gaming headset and I heard some good things about sound quality regarding this product. The price is expensive yet acceptable if you truly wanted to treat yourself to a great gaming experience. What really sold me on these is that they were wireless and 7.1.When I got the headset, I immediately installed it and started to test it out with its multitude of options. The sound is INCREDIBLE and if this was ALL you need, this was a great buy.However, this headset is also a microphone and that is where the deal breaker starts.The microphone has NO mic cancellation!I wasted 2 hours wondering why I could hear my mouse clicks and who I could hear my fiancee coughing in the other room through my headset. This thing picked EVERYTHING UP!I went to their website and found a 15 page long page regarding this issue and watching it unfold over the months.Logitech knows about the problems of this headset and it's been ongoing for 6 months!(check google for g930 noise cancellation problem)Their claim? Will be fixed the next patch but have no ETA and they have no replied to the thread since the new year.How can in this day and age can you not have a functional microphone?For this price? Unacceptable.Returned and refunded.Buyer beware!!!Jason

This headset, the G930 wireless, is by far the most frustrating piece of computer equipment that I've ever used. Installation is a breeze (don't plug it in before you finish installing the software), but after that, it begins getting tedious. I've tried this on two computers, both with Windows 7 Home Premium. On each computer, it most often required a reboot after turning on the headset to get it to work. It doesn't seem to like having Skype open when I want to use it for Ventrilo, and it doesn't want to do much of anything with iTunes open. Perhaps the most frustrating part is, if no sound comes through it after about 10 minutes, it apparently goes into a power-saving mode and turns off. This is VERY problematic when talking to someone after a long lull on ventrilo. I don't understand why it would do this, and there's no note anywhere in the documentation that comes with it about this.The saving grace of this headset is that, unlike the Creative SoundBlaster wireless World of Warcraft headset, this is built sturdy and is VERY comfortable on the head. The noise canceling is very good, the 7.1 simulated speakers sound great.I'm weighing in my head whether it's worth the hassle of putting up with the first paragraph's problems for the benefits of the second, or whether I'd just be better off returning it. Hopefully, Logitech will be able to fix these problems. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it and hold out hope that they will.EDIT: See comment section for a few points I've mellowed on in the time since I bought it. Added two stars because of it.

I would really love to love this headset. Its battery actually lasts longer than you can comfortably wear it for, which is impressive since the headset is one of the most comfortable I've worn. It does a great job damping outside noise without completely isolating you. It has great features. In every respect -- on a hardware level -- this headset delivers.Unfortunately, the software that makes the surround sound, voice morphing, etc. work has some kind of horrible memory leak. During the five hours that I used the headset today, World of Warcraft crashed three times due to running out of memory. I could tell that the crashes were coming because my friends would start to experience "tag" speech from me -- I'd say things over the course of a few minutes and nobody would hear anything until suddenly everything reached them at once. I wasn't entirely sure that the headset was the problem until I finally got to where it was hurting around the ears. I decided to switch back to my trusty old boom mic, which also meant changing WoW to use the sound card again. The only problem was that the sound card wasn't available and Windows informed me that this was because there wasn't enough memory to run it. I'd have to shut down something else. Rebooting the computer brought my sound card back. I left the headset turned off and played another five hours without a single issue.The bottom line is that if you only play for an hour or two at a time and reboot your computer daily you should be quite pleased with this headset. If you plan to use it for longer, expect to run into problems until such time as Logitech fixes the software issue.

I upgraded from the corded ones and have never looked back! love having the freedom to go where I want without having to worry about the cord, the distance is amazing even through walls walked across my house and even with doors shut and walls between me and the computer it was clear as day reception.

I am a huge gamer and I use this for Call of duty 4, Call of duty Black Ops, and Call of Duty MW3 they all support 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound! The bass will melt your brain and the Microphone is awesome very sensitive. One thing they leave out is the microphone is actually adjustable closer to your mouth or farther away. The voice changer is a nice touch also! Would recommend this to a friend without hesitation!

This is one big let down from Logitech. Crackling sound won't go away. I plugged the dongle without the USB hub but no luck. I disabled some functions in the bios but the crackling is driving me crazy. I can't even watch a movie or play a game. Pros- wireless is always a plus, long battery life, overall good sound crazy bass, nice surround sound. Nice construction, built to last as long as you take care of them.Cons- software not that great. If you run 64bit be prepared to have problems seems to run ok with 32bit. You will hear static/popping from time to time not a huge problem but shouldn't be there at all.Overall good product I just wish they would update their software and tweak out some of the bugs

Im a Virtual DJ with an online presence and let me tell you that after multiple hour sets with other headsets my ears , face and often the top of my scalp often hurt. Iv'e tried multiple sets and each of them had there pros and cons ofcourse. However , After deciding to take the plunge into wireless and drop some cash into a new headset I set my sights on the G930. I can tell you that I will never turn away from it. It hosts a range of options and benefits including increased comfort , range and settings to maximize your experience and requirements. The battery life is spot on and every bit of 10 Hours , plus the ability to talk while charging and a quick charge is a bonus.They are larger than most but because the ear peices fit over the ears and rest around them you feel no discomfort and it maximizes the surround sound feature.All I can truly say is .. If you dont atleast consider these as an option your not doing yourself any favors nor are you including what is certainly on of the top quality headsets available.

BUYERS BEWARE:The product will most likely be faulty. Your health might even suffer from engaging in extensive research for nonexistent solutions. Although Logitech has fixed some problems regarding the memory leaks and cutoffs through drivers, the product still presents a lackluster sound quality with all the crackling sounds. I am in a great position to say that the 4 and 5 star ratings are premature compliments that preceded the onset of this excessive and unacceptable crackling. I do not blame these reviewers; I would have initially given the g930 a 5 star rating as well. However - after a week - the crackling set in and I was one in a few hundred who have experience the same dissatisfaction. This is my fault for disregarding the power of reviews, overlooking these consumers as recipients faulty products.If you find yourself experiencing the same problems, please do hesitate in blaming your retailer. Chances are, it is Logitech to blame for not backing up this product with the service it was once reputable for.One last thing: the 7.1 will make you feel like you are sitting in a cave. The only sounds surrounding the listener are echoes.

As probably everyone has said these are great comfortable, headphones with awesome sound but they are not good for wireless. Once you disconnect from the USB cord you will get drop outs in the sound which is really annoying. Not just playing games but movies and music as well.

There's a few things to talk about with this wireless headset. I've been a advocate for Wired headsets for a long time even when the first wireless ones came out. I knew the technology wasn't quite ready to handle what I wanted in a wireless headset.I've only had the headset for a few days and already I am super impressed. Everytime I go to mess with my "wires" out of Habit I think. Man this is such a great purchase!Range: Seriously! This is the most amazing part of the entire headset. I live in a 2200sq ft house and I can't find a single spot in the house where it skips or breaks up. Even in my garage which is on the opposite side of the house, or in the basement, it never gets worse!Installation was easy. The quality is everything you'd expect from a gaming headset, amazing.I'm no expert on sound quality so I can't really say if its superb. But its seems pretty clear to me.Battery life is as advertised, I can definitely get a solid 10 hours out of these.The only con I can think of has to do more with the software rather than the hardware itself. The software has an advanced equalizer feature, which is good, however I'd love to see some presets added to this feature.The microphone sensitivity is nearly perfect out of the box. This is probably the only headset I am actually considering not using a push-to-talk key on. Even if I decide to still go with a PTT key, I'll set it to one of the G-Keys so I can walk around the house while talking! Awesome.Overall this headset is exceeded my expectations in all areas. Its definitely the best I've ever owned.

Very good headset for gaming. When playing Skyrim with this you really shiver when dragons fly over your head. Also, the cable for recharging comes with a clever little device with a usb slot in it so it doesnt take up an additional port.

I have gotten two of these headsets. Both constantly breakup the sound. I checked out the support pages and turned off all wireless devices in the house, but still no luck with getting them to work. My Turtle Creek wireless headset for my x-box works great. I will check them out to see if they have one for the pc.

My last Logitech headset recently conked out on me after about two years of use - I could still hear perfectly, but the microphone wouldn't pick up any sound. My last set was something similar to this, a wireless headset with some sort of noise cancellation that went on-ear instead of over-ear.I decided to take the plunge and buy these for a couple of factors (and I'm really glad I did). I wanted to have a headset with Dolby 7.1 for movie watching and for video games - and this has lived up to those expectations wonderfully. I also wanted to make sure that I got over-ear headphones because after long gaming sessions, or even a reasonably lengthy movie my ears would start to hurt with the ones I previously had. These have abolished that problem - they are extremely comfortable and very well put together. My only comfort gripe is that if you have a very large head, they might feel a little tight just below the temple.Like I said, they are very study and appear to be very well made. The microphone records extremely clearly and everyone I've spoken to says that I sound way better than I did with my previous headset. The range is okay, my house is fairly "wally" and as such after about 15 feet and two or three walls, it cuts out.I cannot emphasize, though, how comfortable they are to wear, and they make long gaming sessions a breeze.

This is the best wireless headset guys! I had a Logitech G35 but I find that unit bulky and uncomfortable though the sound quality is superb but what I need is a headset that I can walk around the house because the wire is very annoying. So when the soundblaster wow wireless headset came out last year I bought one right away. But the only thing good about it is only the wireless and nothing else plus the reception is very bad.Now this new logitech G930 I would say this is the best so far. This is how I rate it:1. Comfort - 6 stars out of 6. Very light I can wear this all day.2. Sound quality - 6 7.1 surround sound is really awesome.3. Signal range - 5.9 this works as advertised though but I just wish it could go further more so I can't say it is perfect.4. Design - 5.9 it does have a very light squeeky sound when you wear it but not too much unless you bang your head or rather I would say move too much.5. G controls - 6 this is what I really miss the most with the wow soundblaster I have to go back to my computer just to pause/play but with the G935 G controls are programmable. When I watch a movie it is easier to press the control to pause/play the movie/music when it is needed especially when you are not right next to your computer.I may have forgot some of the criteria but I hope this is enough. This is the very improved version of the G35 so do not hesitate buy. I never been excited to review a product but this one I just can't miss it. You may have a software problem at first but just reboot the PC 1 or more times then it will work fine which I had to reboot my pc twice before it worked fine which is wierd coz usually a program only asks to reboot once. I really love this product. Thank you Logitech! It is expensive but it is very worth it.

The Logitech wireless Headset G930 are very comfortable and the sound quality is very good. The battery charge doesn't last as long as advertised but still long enough for extended game play and you can still use them with the usb connected and charging. Best Headset I have owned so far!

The microphone picks up everything - which can be a distraction for others - but all of my gaming group have this headset now and we love it. It is not a small unit (size / weight) - so it might be a bit big for younger users. We average over 9 hours of charge on it (I have not charged it in two weeks and it still shows over eight hours of charge time. I live in an old house with very poor cell reception due to old wiring - I "game" in the basement and can wander all the way to the top floor (2 stories) and not lose connection.

The G930 headset is great except for one minor issue. The mic can be muted, but if you go out of range it automatically unmutes itself.When you hit the mute button the red mic light turns on. When you go out of range, the headset beeps and then comes back online.The red mute light goes off and you are automatically unmuted.

These headphones arrived nearly fully charged and sounded great. The surround sound worked great with both WoW and Fallout NV. The surround sound also worked great with VLC, you just have to go to the audio options on VLC and tell it to use 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. The range is also great.

The best headset I have ever owned. I really enjoy the cordless and it's built very well. Amazon was great.

The Dolby Digital does not work with Windows 7 64-bit and Logitech flat out told me their engineers are "working on an issue". I had to return the headphones, which is a shame because I actually liked the style.

I was not able to use my G930 -- very disapointed. Check google for issue regarding this product before you buy--wish I had done that first. Google list many same problems:I purchased the G930 yesterday and have been trying to install it on my Windows 7 64bit system. ive tried win7 and vista 64 bit installers and nothing worked. All the software will tell me is "please unplug and re-plug your logitech g930 headset".I am having the same problem. I have tryed everything. From what i can tell the drivers are not installing on my computer. I am useing Win7 64 bit, everytime i plug them in windows tryes to install the drivers and fails. I have installed the software from both the cd and from the updated software on the site, anyone have any more ideas???I had the same problems as listed above. Got error code 43 -- not proper driver -- reinstalled all software and downloaded new driver from Logitech site -- nothing worked.I shipped by unit back to Amazon.

I can't say how much I love this headset. It's wonderful to not have all of the extra wires laying about that my cats can chew on....The sound quality is great, and the voice morphing is a lot of fun to mess around with. There aren't many G-Keys, but I didn't really care about that. In all honesty, it's a headset. I didn't see the point in having it bogged down with a ton of g-keys. There are now 5 people in my gaming guild with this headset, or the wired version, and everyone sounds crystal clear over Ventrilo.All of that being said, there was an issue with my wireless internet and this headset. Every time I turned it on, my wireless would stop functioning. It was fixed by changing channels and messing with the settings of the router. Although....It is now causing problems with the wireless fence that we have for one of our dogs. I've had to stop using it because it randomly beeps or shocks her even when she is still well inside her containment area. Hopefully I can find a fix to this as well.All in all, set up is easy and it's a great headset if you want to be able to move through the house while still listening to music or talking to guildies over Ventrilo.

Here is a quick rundown:Pros:Sound QualityRangeAbility to mute - both from buttons and from pushing mic out of wayHighly adjustable and comfortable fit.Cons:Can be a little heavy over timeButtons on headset can not be configured for very many applications - only for gaming purposes.I love this headset and I use it everyday for work. On the phone for Skype and on iTunes and Pandora when not on a call. It feels so good to cut the cord and it's easy with a headset that is comfortable and works reliably. I have no regrets.

I've had these headphones for about a month now. They've always connected flawlessly to any computer I plug the usb dongle into and the sound quality it great. It's a little funky using the microphone because with a closed earphone design, you can't hear yourself unless you enable microphone feedback. The problem with microphone feedback in this case is there is a significant delay (about 0.5 seconds) which gets annoying quickly. That being said, with microphone feedback turned off I got used to speaking in a normal voice volume even though I couldn't hear myself easily. I don't use the extra macro buttons too often, but having the volume roller control on the headphone is really nice. I also love the overall quality of the headphone. Lastly as I mentioned in the title, my ears get pretty hot after some hardcore gaming. I wish I could poke some holes in the ear cups to get some air flow.

Awesome headphones! I can't hear anything while I am using them. My wife hates them. 7.1 sounds awesome while playing single player games, however, when you are using any sort of VOIP, people sound funny.

i was really hoping for actual surround when i purchased the headphones, instead of simulated, however the sound is still quite convincing. just not enough for gaming as in knowing a person is either walking infront or behind you.the headphones are really durable, and if you somehow run low on battery which is very unlikely, it plugs in from the left headphone instead of the right one. not the best for long gaming sessions because the metal the headphones are made out of is so strong that it squeezes your head very tightly. like off your head there is 1 inch between each speaker. i dont know of any heads that are 1 inch wide, kinda silly. it makes my head pulse like if u tied a rope around your arm tightly.and the worst gripe is they have a feature called sidetone, which is designed to hear your own voice inside the speakers so that you dont get the "blocked ears affect" which is a great idea.... however when you use this feature you find out that the microphone is not earthed correctly and hear a slight buzzing noise in your headphones. THIS IS A MAJOR FAULT!! could be easily avoided with a simple patch to mute if not talking like most voice activated controllers like on teamspeak.overall i give it 3 out of 5. about time there was some surround sound cordless headphones, but the testing department needs the sack, if there was one.

The solution has generally been to change the USB port. Minor issue but for a luxury product like this???2) BASS BASS BASS - WTH? I mean there is almost no bass. I have tried mucking around as much as possible with the EQ but it doesn't deliver. IMHO, its good for gaming but not to listen to ur fave music. My Logitech Z5500 is the choice for that3) Feels kinda heavy and sometimes its uncomfortable after a while

I purchased the Logitech G930 for two purposes: 1) Gaming; 2) VOIP phone calls on my PC.1) As for gaming, the surround sound is amazing. I use it with Call of Duty, and I can hear where every footstep, gunshot, and explosion are coming from. I do however hear some occasional clipping (fuzz-type noise), but It is mostly curable through adjusting the sound on either the game or the headset... just need to mess around with it a little bit to find the best audio settings.2) For VOIP Calls on the PC, it works great. I'm just using my Google Voice/Talk from my browser, and the mic is very clear and crisp. Audio is great.The only other issue is the headrest on the top... The foam pad is not very wide, so the pressure of the headset resting on your head is focused in one area - I'd prefer it to be more flat/wide. But overall, this is a great headset, and (so far) worth the money.

You don't realize how luxurious having no wires is until you finally go wireless. The sound quality on these are awesome.They fit nicely. I wish they had been made of a softer cloth than the somewhat stiff leather, but if it says anything I've fallen asleep with these on multiple times.Being able to program the side buttons is absolutely awesome. No longer is it a "BRB" to get drinks, smoke etc. You can bring the conversation on Ventrilo with you and not miss anything.If you have been waiting for a good headset, go ahead and get this. You will not be disappointed. :)

I was tired of spending $15-25 for lower quality headsets and having them break only after a few weeks of use. I was a little hesitant at first to spend so much for a single headset, but I'm so glad I did. I love the surround sound and the voice change effects cause quite the laugh. This product was everything it stated and more. The best investment I could have made.
