I have read thru the forums for a lot of the top headsets and this one by far had the fewest complaints. It works as expected and it seems to be well constructed. Beware though :-) when you put them on you can not hear anything going on around you, not even the wife who you just woke up at 2am...

I used to love my headset. Updated to windows 8 and have had nothing but problems.connection between itself to its base drops about every 5 mins.Audio quality for the mic is in a higher pitch when on team speak.If I set the default device to be my computer speakers it will then not recognize the usb headset when I try to switch it back.The last few weeks have been a nightmare. Reading many forums I have not found any fixes that work.I can safely say I will probably not buy another logitech headset again.

This works great. I'm pretty sure the range is more than forty feet. The sound is incredible. I thought the surround sound was a gimmick. I mean how can you have surround sound with something covering your ears? However when I turned on the surround sound I felt like I was in a movie theater. My wife and I use it on the tread mill to watch programs. It really takes the boredom out of running on a tread mill.

There's apparently a problem with the power connector on the headphones that can kep them from taking a charge. I have this problem on the phones I just bought and they're useless now. Searched on the net and found that this was a problem others have had as well. Now I have to deal with the hassle of a return -- after I just disposed of the packing materials. Can't believe Logitech is shipping this crap. Don't buy them!!!Update: Amazon honored the return despite my not having the packing materials (thanks, Amazon) so I took a chance and got a replacement instead of a refund, as I really like the headset except for the jack problem. The new headset worked fine at first but is developing the same problem -- I have to wiggle the USB power connector after inserting it or it won't connect for a charge. The jack -- and I know it's the jack and not the plug/cable because it shows the same symptoms with other micro USB cables -- is clearly going to fail completely at some point. Can't believe Logitech hasn't fixed this problem yet. Ruins an otherwise very fine headset.2nd update: the second recharge connector has failed, making the headset useless. I'm now forced to buy a wired (Sennheiser) set to replace them. That's 2 out of 2 headsets that have failed the same way on me. There's obviously a serious manufacturing/design problem for it to happen 2 out 2. DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET!!!!

I don't find the special features (programmable buttons, simulated surround sound, some silly voice-altering feature) compelling enough to overlook it's more basic problems as wireless headphones.The biggest problem: bugginess. There are times when it distorts simple sounds (like Windows' folder navigation click) and occasionally sets the balance incorrectly (I spend a full round in a game wondering if there were others to my right because my footsteps weren't centered).Second biggest problem: interference. Microwave running will take it down at quite a distance (more than my ASUS headphones from long ago) this manifests as intermittent and digitally-distorted sounds. Charging while wearing the headphones will cause interference on the left side (very disappointed in Logitech for not doing more in the hardware to avoid this). Update (Dec 2012): also WiFi from an adjacent laptop can introduce cracking (akin to the sound heard when turning the plug in an analog jack).These two things make the headphones unreliable and frustrating and I certainly would not recommend them.

Okay, i rarely write reviews, but i wanted to get this out there so that it would help others.Before I bought the G930 I searched all over the internet to find out if i could assign KeyBinds / Keyboard shortcuts / Key Strokes to the G- Keys. I searched every where possible and could not find a good answer.The Answer - You totally can.For Eg you can assign Pg Down to a G-key, and scroll down in a word document using that G- KEyMake sure that you download the latest software from the Logitech Website (dont even open the CD that comes with it)You can assign pretty much any Key from your keyboard or Mouse to the G- Keys.THe other nice thing is that the software will also scan your comp and search for installed Games and build profiles based on those games, so you can assign game controls directly to the G-Keys.The Voice morphing is fun, and i cant wait to freak my friends out on Nazi Zombies.-So far no signal loss, no breaking up-I read many reviews that people hear their own voice in their headphones - YOU HAVE TO TURN OF "Voice Preview" in the Voice morphing Section-Surround sound is amazing, so far tested it out with some youtube videos having surround sound- its greatIve only tried it out for a day now, I will add any negatives that i come up againstSome minor - Very minor ones so far are1. The head set is a little heavy, for me atleast, but very slightly.2. When I wear the headset, i do feel one particular pressure point - but that could get better as i break them in (Also could a cold im fighting right now)3.I dont particularly like the infinite scroll on the Volume control - i like to know when ive reached Max/Min - Volume.4. Bass is Good only if your going from no Bass at all to this5. Overall Sound Quality I would give it a 7 out of 10.In the end the only reason to get this headset is for the wireless functionality.and for that as well as the price point - THIS IS THE Best deal - (Other wireless units range >$200)

Dunno what I'd do without this headset... Well, I wouldn't be pouring me cereal while listening to lectures on a different floor at the very least.Great sound quality, interesting drivers/program. Very sturdily build, and really well made all in all. Fantastic product for gamers, but great for just music quality too!

The headset itself is really cool. The battery really does last for 10 hours. However, the wireless part is not that great and the software to change the settings crashes a lot. In the middle of using the headset, it cuts out and then reconnects about five seconds later. That's when the USB antenna is about 3 ft. away! If I attach it to the back, then it gets no connection at all. The headset has to be really close to the antenna. The software has cool voice effects, but half the time it starts up at boot time, it crashes.

The first one I got had bad batteries and didn't work at all. Amazon sent a replacement promptly.The one I have now is good, but not great..Pros:-Good battery life.-Comfortable-Durable-Good range-Noise cancellation is good-Driver issues. Sometimes G keys and volume control stop working for a while. I've noticed white noise sometimes. I suspect driver issues here too.-Mic sometimes doesn't unmute the first time you bring the mic boom down.

I always trusted Logitech Products but this one bites the bullet you would think a gaming headset would fuction well tonight while playen mech warrior when to push the mic up to is laid back postion straight up and down and the whole headset cutout and now none of the LEDs on the headset even fuction anymore. the Head set is great however up to the point where it failed and stopped working.

I have had some issues with the functionality as far as needing to reset them due to the surround not functioning properly at first and also I had to reinstall the software once already because the device would intermitently power off on it's own. Since doing these steps for troubleshooting I have not had any issues and the sound is amazing!!!!!!I would recommend these to someone that is a little more tech savy than others due to the troubleshooting needs at first.

Might've been a faulty batch of plastic, but after about a year and a half of about 10 hrs/week usage the plastic kind of flakes and crumbles off in various places where things have seams and are bolted together. I would've expected this to last a little longer for the price we paid.

Bad audio? Set the Logitech 7.1 surround settings to 9/11 or 10/11 and leave the subwoofer at 11. Now, work your magic on the equalizer!Great audio and build quality. Love walking away from Teamspeak and still being part of the conversation thanks to the G-keys!!!

First thing I must say is ignore anything anyone says about the sound cutting off. This is due to a driver problem with the one given with the software on the cd.1) install software from cd2) Download the proper drivers from this site -> [...]As far as the actual headset goes, it is just great.Pros-----------ComfortableLong lasting batteryWireless goes upto 40ft (I got about 20-30 in my house but it is known to be terrible with wireless signals)LoudGreat quality sound.Cons----------Rather pricey, but you get what you pay forProgrammable buttons are not very useful when it comes to fast paced games (You're better off binding to the keyboard)If you're picky about these sort of things, the headset can only be worn with the mic and buttons on your left earOverall I would recommend this to almost anyone

I use this for gaming, Skype/G+ hangouts, and music. These headphones work great, are comfortable, and while they are not audiophile quality, they are balanced and have enough EQ options to tweak it how you want. Worth the money.

had these a few month and I like them a lot. Surround sound is great but I haven't used the mic too much.not sure i like the tiny on/off button on the side which is hard to use and they tend to slide off my head if I get too crazy but those are minor things.

I've been gaming for over ten years and never owned a pair of gaming headphones before. I thought that the price combined with the lack of using them for anything else was just not worth it. But I decided to jump in and many reviews took my to these. I was also a little apprehensive about "wireless" headphones, my car Bluetooth is one thing, but expecting high quality out of a pair of wireless headphones just seemed like a reach. I WAS WRONG!These have an excellent range in my opinion, I can walk 30-40 feet away and have multiple walls/appliances in the liner sight and still get a signal. I've only tried listening to music at these ranges though, I have not tried to use the mic at max range.They are very comfortable on my head and do not give give any pain after extended uses. The around the ear is very comfortable, I did notice that since the material is made out of some synthetic material, it does make my ears a little sweaty after an hour or so, to solve this just lift them up or let them hang around your neck for a minute. Even just lifting them up and letting air circulate helps.After comparing most of the competition I found these to be an amazing pair. I WILL NEVER OWN CORDED EARPHONES FOR A COMPUTER AGAIN. You don't notice until you use these how nice it is not having a cord running to your head.

I do get the little beep every so often as others have noted. But it only happens a few times a day and I use them all day at work. The wireless range is very good and remains clear. Mic is clear too. You could get better sound with a wired set but for wireless this is really good.

Owned for an hour, will update if there any problems.My reason for choosing this item was mainly because I was sick and tired of getting a set of headphones only to have cables break internally (even after reasonable care). I had originally bought a set of RCA wireless headphones from Walmart (non USB) and returned those in 48 hours due to a lot of interference and general feeling of being ripped off. I then looked on Amazon and found these. I paid around $127 for them (but had to wait weeks for shipping).. and for that amount I expect a quality product - I wouldn't have paid much if any more for them.The rechargeable battery can be replaced but it's non-standard so you have to order from Logitech ($5 + the same or more for shipping).Anyway.. item came with approx 2.5 hours of charge (manual says up to 10 hours fully charged with a full charge taking 2.5 hours).. the SOUND QUALITY (barring all this audiophile nonsense) is *VERY* GOOD, enough to send me here to make a positive review.As for fit, I have a large head :'( and it's not at all uncomfortable.The only negatives so far is that the wireless feature doesn't seem to allow more than 2 thin walls before the audio cuts out (may be different with a fully charged battery?) and the worry of having to obtain a battery in the future.EDIT ONE========POSITIVE NOTE: Software is telling me "Less than 55 minutes" of battery left and made a soft beep about 5 mins ago.. a good thing! (around 30 mins later) again saying "Less than 29 minutes".As mentioned earlier will report back if any problems.

I've had a pair of these for about two months and I use them like crazy. The surround sound is nice but not as nice as a full surround system, and in some games it's hardly noticeable, but I've liked the effect while having to watch movies silently and the wireless feature is awesome. The forty foot range doesn't do it justice. My house is 100 ft long and I can use it almost clear to the other end of it without having any trouble. Luckily, the mic automatically mutes when you put the mouthpiece up, otherwise this massive range would have caused a bit of embarrassment! ;)From other reviews, I had heard that they can start to break down after a year or so of heavy use. Know that they come with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty before you go out and buy an outside warranty! I ended up buying a 3 year replacement plan on them quite cheaply, so the investment is protected no matter what happens, but it would have been nice to know about the one it comes with anyway.I caught these on sale, and that definitely effected my decision to buy them, but if you have the extra $$$ and want to try them out, consider my review a green light.

I bought this headset about a month ago and have already begun to experience problems. The wireless is constantly resetting itself,even while I'm sitting right next to my computer. Occasionally it will get to the point where it resets multiple times within a few minutes! I even had problems with my computer not picking up that it was plugged into the usb port on more than one occasion.The product itself was fantastic for the first couple of days. The range worked even while I was on different floors of my house. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and the automatic mute of the mic when it's pushed up is great. It would be a fantastic product if it continued to work this way for more than two days.To make matters worse, I had an accident with the wireless usb. The poor thing ended up snapping in half and coming apart! I was hoping something like this would be covered in the warranty but sadly accidents are not covered. I suggest to anyone who is still considering buying this headset that they find a warranty that covers everything to go along with the headset. The actual hardware for the headset is very nice. It's comfortable to wear, feels sturdy, holds a decent charge, and sounds good. Hardware alone gets 5 stars easily.The drivers, on the other hand, are terrible. The current Logitech driver (downloaded Mon, Nov 26th 2012) does not even recognize the headset on Windows 7 or 8, which means it still works as a headset, but none of the extra buttons or settings are available (including 7.1 surround sound). There is an OLD edition of the drivers that you can find online in forum links that at least recognizes the device, but it's utterly unacceptable that the current up-to-date drivers fail to recognize the headset.

I bought these and G19 at the same time. I've pretty much switched from Razer peripherals to Logitech in a single week. The mouse and keyboard are an awkward transition, but the headphones are a different story. They are very well made, and feature rich.niceThat little light on the end of the mic letting you know its muted.volume control on the left ear.Very nice rangeincludes a usb hubnot so nicethe recessed mini-usb power plug is a pain.

1st off the Sound is great, with a lot of customization available. Microphone works good. Wireless is working perfect. Rechargeable always a plus imo. The negative is the USB connector which goes to a wireless station with a charging cord coming out of that. Logitech should have just done this like their other wireless products.

After doing a bit of research - I concluded that this was the clear winner in "best wireless headset".First impression - What a letdown. These headphones sound like a cheap plastic pair that I could get at any swap meet!THEN - I did a little playing around with the equalizer (that despite what other reviewers seem to say DOES exist) and these headphones went from "what a disappointment" to "HOLY COW - WOW!!"You ABSOLUTELY need to fiddle around with the equalizer to get these cans where you want them. But once you do - I don't see how they can be beat. AWESOME sound - and the battery truly does last around 10 hours. Even when low on battery, you simply plug in to the (provided) micro-USB and you're good to go. It's still getting audio via wireless, but appears to be a wired headset since it's getting power from a wire (until charged and then you can go wireless again!).My house is roughly 2,000 square feet. I can go ANYWHERE in the house without losing the signal.All in all - GREAT headset. Highly recommended. Just be aware that they are likely NOT going to be pleasing "out of the box" - you must adjust the equalizer.- Ron Donofero

A little bit big for me, but then again I have a small head. Love the fact that there are no wires. Wireless distance is so-so. I wish I could use it for longer distances. My PC is in the bedroom and I wish the distance would reach where I wash the dishes. :DBattery life is OK and I like the fact that you can recharge it while using it at the same time.Not really a gripe, but more of a wish: The receiver, I wish it was smaller.

Stay away from this extremely buggy headsetGreat sound when it works...The product is marred with bugs. The most annoying and frequent one is the disconnect, which is heavily referenced in their forums and here in the reviewsIt is literary a show stopper, a product killer for meI have had it for 6 months now and nothing seems to fixThe best fix suggested in the forums is to put the base as far away from the headset as possible, which is of of course limited by the length of the cableI am throwing this headset away...

These headphones have a great look and feel to them. But, they don't work with Windows 7 x64 machines very well. No matter the music source frequent popping, hissing and crackling sounds can be heard. This is apparently a huge problem which Logitech has done nothing to fix but blame the user.

There are a lot of reviews so I doubt I willa dd anything new other than share my experience. I came from nice Seinhauser wired headphones that I kept catching on my chair/desk etc. I am really happy with these - the first time I had them on the sound was so good, I thought I had set them up wrong and my speakers were actually on, not the ehadphones. When I pulled them off my jaw dropped that it truly was the headphones - I found the sound that good. I have had a couple of split second drops but absolutely nothing to worry about.Great sound and great for movies/gaming and music.

I was told multiple times that it was the best gift my husband EVER got for Christmas. He knows his sound quality as its what he does for work. He was amazed at the stereo sound on a wireless headset, made me sit and listen to it. Big pat on the back to logitech and myself for digging a little deeper in my pocket and paying the extra for this quality product. I was greatly loved and appreciated by the user, my husband.

Pros: wireless, physical build quality, and most of all "surround sound", which alone sets itself apart from every other headphones out there.Cons: it's cool but, not too impressed by it. it does produce a "perception" of surround sound field, however the end result simulated sound still feels shallow and lack in depth and distance. it's almost like having all 7 speakers taped right to your ears without the natural sound effect of distance, space and attenuation (which are all essential elements in surround sound effects). sometimes it's hard to tell surround side from surround rear. surround rear also does not sound true from the rear, but rather more from the side, which farther mixes the effects of surround side. it's a cool little piece of toy that's definitely better than your average headphone, however, for serious home theater, or audiophiles this will never replace the real thing. not to mention due to the wireless bandwidth capacity, it can only transmit up to 16bit 48khz.Other Thoughts: be sure to set the output level in the logitech G930 control panel from default of +11 down to +10 or +9. the default value of +11 is too high and causes the bass to clip. i have a very elaborate surround sound home theater system at home. and i was hoping more out of this G930 (to be a night time gaming alternative for the study room). i was however not WOWed by it. at least not enough to pay the full retail price tag. if you have a very elaborate surround sound home theater system at home already, this will not replace it, or come anywhere close.

I love this set, great sound, good battery life, nice recharging stand to hold the cord etc. The speakers and mic both sound good. I actually returned a set of "Afterglow" wireless headsets for this pair, and am very happy with my decision.

i'm going to keep it short and simple i have had these for a little over six monthspros: great sound, wireless, great connection no hissing or distortion, they look good and are very comfortable for long periods of usecons: switching off 7.1 surround can sometimes only give audio from one ear, connection error leaving you stuck with no 7.1 surround which can be fixed easily by turning off headset and unplugging recover for 10 sec, and finally the battery is a dedicated battery meaning when the battery dies your screwed but it should last long enough to leave you feeling you got your monies worth six months latter everyday use still getting 8-10 hours per charge depending on what i'm listening to and if i'm using the mic ect...

I love good audio, I have a Logitech 5.1 computer in my home, but I play more at night than during the day, so I decided to buy them and recommend the nitides is very very good, are comfortable, the battery lasts 10 hours as says, I like the G button operation the distortion of you is great, if you are gamer or just like the music, I recommend them

I just got mine a few weeks ago. Just now the ear pads are starting to break in making them more comfortable for prolonged use. At first I could only wear them for about 45 minutes then had to take them off to give my head a break.The microphone has great quality and the speakers are truly 7.1, but not sure if it is something with the game or the speakers, but sometimes the sound comes through as if it is a corridor. Either way I'm happy with the purchase.

These things are really slow to turn on. And you have to hold the button down for quite a while or it doesn't turn on at all. Probably not a problem for gamers, but I use them for skype. Every time someone calls, I have to scramble around trying to get the darn things turned on while they wait and say, "hello?", "hello?".Just thought I should warn anyone else who wants to use them the way I do.

The headset itself is okay. It's usable with the default windows drivers, however changing the volume freezes up the windows taskbar. The Logitech drivers that produce the virtual surround are even more buggy than the default windows drivers.Without the virtual surround you might as well buy a cheaper headset. Logitech support was useless, the freezing issue is well-known on the Logitech forums yet support still reads off their script, providing "solutions" that other users have already confirmed are useless.I'd recommend against purchasing this headset. I ended up returning the G930 and getting the Corsair Vengeance 2000. It's slightly more expensive but the drivers work, it feels great, and the sound quality is better.

Good sound quality, easy to install (already have Logitech Mouse / Keyboard).Wish the battery lasted a little longer, but if you get in the habit of plugging it in when you're done using it, it's not bad.Plugging in the micro-USB connecter is a little tight. Might be because it's relatively new. I may put some nail polish on the plug, though, because figuring out which way is "up" isn't very obvious.

It was a good headset with wireless function and that, but I have a noise/crackling sound in the headset that doesn't disappear. Do not buy! Buy Corsair venganance 2000 then!

So very very good headphones works preaaty good with wireless and G keys also working but I cannot give this product 5 star and the reasons are.This last updated driver does not works very good,when you start game you hear intro voice but when in game you don't hear anything until you uninstall G930 driver.it happened in many games and many people complains abou this issue. They need More work with drivers.

These gaming headphones are very, very impressive. The battery life on them isn't too shabby, but I have been caught off guard sometimes with them dying. Simple solution is to just plug them into the computer and continue using them. It would be nice if the wireless adapter to the computer was a bit smaller, such as ones for the logitech gaming mouse... but otherwise that is my only complaint.

This works great! I have been using these for a little over 2 months and i have yet to have any problems with using this. It's range is roughly about 30-40 feet and thats more than enough for me. The sound is crystal clear and i love the button's on the side. Also it can last me for about 7-8 hours fully charged which is a lot for me.

The headset itself is pretty awesome, however I noticed considerable differences in sound quality between drivers (the latest at the time sounded like crap, but I did settle on some older ones). I'm not a huge fan of the mic playing back in my headset, but you can turn it off at least (if you run the software as an admin).

Великолепно
does all that i expected. had them a month no problems.i would recommend them to anyone looking for wireless headphones.

best headset i've ever owned. Only downside i can see to this thing is that you can only use it on your PC. There isn't a 3.5mm jack, only a usb charger stand. But the quality is there. best!

This headset is great. I own a set of Tritton AX Pro for PS3 and these are equally as good. The wireless puts them over the top. Sound quality is great. I can go downstairs and still hear my friends during games. The G buttons on the side sometimes don't work with certain programs but that is a programming error not a product deficiency
