Really great sound. I love watching movies with 7.1 surround sound at night and not disturbing the neighbors. Even the non 7.1 function on them produces great stereo sound for music. I mostly use them for Voice Chat for gaming. Really good sound for both Voice and in game sounds, but takes some adjustment for both at the same time. Games sounds can drown out voice chat at times without adjustments, usually from within the game. Also, 7.1 in shooters is just pure awesomeness.Cons: Just a couple. The 3 side G buttons are somewhat limited by the software it comes with. However, I haven't really explored the plugin options available, so there might be a solution to this. Also the mute mic button on the side is a bit pointless since all you have to do to mute the mic is move it to the up position. Would've been better if this could be a mute button for the output on the headset, so you can mute whatever is playing if someone needs to talk to you in person. Again, there could be a plugin available that does this, I just haven't really looked.Over all, a really great headset and worth the money.

I made this purchase about a year ago and I must say that I bought it based on the reviews on obviously the majority of the reviews that detailed features, first look and useability on day one. The one that I missed was it's durability. It worked like a charm for me and exactly like what the reviews here have wrote about, and I was very happy with it, to be honest.However, as time goes by, the constant plugging and unplugging of the charging connector on the headset took it's toll and the warning signs came when I had to wiggle the connector around to make the connection so it would charge. Alas, the wiggling delivered it's final punch and the connector broke. This did not allow the headset to be charged anymore. A friend who made the same purchase had exactly the same issue and manage to get his set replaced while I could not.For me personally, the price is not worthwhile for a headset that will only last 1 year.

Great gaming headset. I use headphones for both gaming and music, so I was concerned about sound quality. No issues there at all, sound is very solid from juicy bass all the way to the highs.PROS:- great sound quality, especially for a wireless headset- very decent mic, people say my voice is finally coming across loud and clear- volume control and mic mute are well-designed and work great- play/pause/next buttons are an excellent addition that allows to listen to music without even being in front of computer- good battery life (they claim 10 hours - I didn't test for more than 5 hours straight but for me it's enough)- seamless operation when plugged in (so if you're out of juice, that's no big deal)- standard mini-USB jackCONS:- relatively heavy (unavoidable with batteries I guess)- leatherette headband and earbands are rather rigid, people wearing glasses may have issues- they don't auto-sleep, so if you forget to plug them in after a gaming session they will dischargeAll in all, great product, I love it. I do get a bit tired after a few hours of gaming, but I think that's just the way it is (until they invent some magical weightless batteries).

Usually spend the least amount possible for a gaming headset; had the extra , yes, I realize $124.00 is a lot over the the usual $25.00 I usually spend, but as stated this is the absolute best headset you will find. Intuitive controls, 11hrs of wireless time per recharge, great mic, no noise moving it around, can be used while recharging, Fantastic sound and you really do hear everything if you want to set it up this way. Footsteps in a FPS sniper or attack game, and can hear them creeping up on you. Voice changer if needed, Just the best. And there's a 2year warranty! Never expected over 90 days, but it true. Loving this as hopefully is my last headset ever needed!

Pros: - Good sound quality - Good sound isolation - Very comfortable (could wear them all day)Cons: - Persistent problems with on/off switch (really really annoying ... it's an ordeal to turn them on and off ... I did research and other users have had this problem) - Intermittent buzzing (not often but annoying when it happens) - Mediocre battery life - Mediocre softwareOther notes: - Sensitive mic (almost too sensetive ... pics up everything in the room)

- audio disconnects every few minutes from day 1. UNABLE to fix this with updates, changing wireless channels, connecting via USB, turning off other wireless devices / microwaves / cordless phones etc.- joint holding ear cups to the head band will start breaking within the first month! If you find pieces of random cheap brittle plastic on your desk, it's from the headset!!! Check the plastic joint covers it will be cracked (they have 4 screws on them iirc)!!! RETURN IT ASAP, I discovered where the plastic was coming from farrr too late unfortunately. Once the plastic falls off, it is essentially useless.Check the Logitech forums for G930 and believe the faults ppl mention because they are true!

I had been using a hard wired headset for several years and on more than one occasion the wires would get tangled in something. I've owned this headset a couple of weeks and what a difference. I originally had the USB plugged into a multi-port USB extender and I noticed a slight clicking sound. I removed the USB device from the extender and plugged it directly into the computer and that took care of the clicking noise. I had to go out of town for a week and even though I didn't plug the headset into charge while I was gone, I found no degradation in the battery. I would highly recommend this headset.

First off I would like to say how much i love the audio quality of this headset. going from cheap $20 speakers to this headset was the most amazing and noticeable difference ever. The ONLY problem i have with this headset is that the microphone quality is stuck on "Tap Recorder." When skyping with friends or using windows Sound Recorder it sounds great. When recording with Fraps though mic quality goes into the toilet.Pros:~ 7.1 Audio~ Comfortable~ Wireless!!!~ Amount of featuresCONS:~ Mic quality is worse then most cheap $20 mics when recording with FRAPS~ takes a while to get use to~ Mic is not as loud as i would like it to beConclusion:I love this headset and plan to keep it for another day or two before returning. If i can find a solution for the mic quality issue i will keep it but recording with fraps for video and then using another program to record audio is going to be a pain. The wireless feature is holding back mic quality in a large way. Also the default software that came with the headset was much better (more bugs but easier to use) than the piece of garbage they gave to us (version 3. something). For the pricing i expected something a bit better than tape recorder quality as default setting (and its greyed out so no hope of changing it).

So these sound GREAT... I'm using them in a noisy office to make phone calls and they do a great job of cutting out back ground noise (its usually a dull roar here) and the phone/music sounds great... What sucks is that if there is anything else wifi operating on 2.4ghz (so like any wireless router, wireless keyboard or mouse, etc), these headphones will sporadically cut out. Worse, it's a known issue for Logitech and if you look at the Logitech forums, you'll see that the problem is being completely ignored : (

After reviewing multiple headsets, I thought the Logitech G930 was "the ONE". It's an awesome headset when it actually works. I'm on my 2nd replacement headset and have had to send back 2 already (the one originally purchased from Amazon and a replacement that Logitech had sent out).Both times, the headset battery failed to charge. Logitech should come up with a solution or get rid of the line of headsets and come out with a new one. Don't bother buying this, it's well documented--just Google it.

Everything seem good as many commented.Good sound and plug and play, easy to use.don't like but can still live with it - after wearing for few hours, ear will feel slight pain.have to unplug the blue adapter in order to auto switch back to pc speaker...kinda of troublesome. if not have to go to sound setting everything to switch default device back to speak. should have a feature to auto detect when headset is off, and sound auto set back to pc speaker instead

I bought my original set in Oct 2011. I say original because I have now had THREE of these. Same issue on each one, waiting on the RMA on the third one.The USB connection on the set is NOT designed for repeated unplugging. The connection that is soldered into the board is done so poorly that it will break. First you will feel it loosen, eventually when you plug it in it will do nothing but wiggle. This leads to the next issue, the battery can't be charged, even when it is plugged in, so it becomes a useless item.The Pros(when working):Good connectivity through out most of the housegood soundmic quality is ok (Used in Teamspeak, TF2, BF3, Portal2)Personally I've had no interference with our wireless phone system(6 GhZ) bluetooth enabled phones, wireless routers (Dlink DIR-655) etc.Cons:Issue Mentioned aboveEarmuff connection/breakage issueout of the box sound is initially bad (can be fixed if you install the drivers)I have no idea of the battery life/longevityAnother Pro:IF you can manage to find the phone number for Logitech (they do bury it in their website) the customer service reps are nice.The last con I can think of... my chair eating the corded headphones I have as a replacement in between sending them in to be fixed. Not really their fault though.

While I wish the material around your ears was cloth instead of... pleather or whatever it is, I really enjoy these headphones. They block noise and I actually use them on planes while watching movies and blocking out ambient sound (aka crying babies).The other thing I don't like is the dongle is kind of big. Makes it easy to break when you're in a crowded airplane seat.

The headphones are very comfortable and work awesome. The wireless range on these is really quite good too despite the presence of our Wireless Home Network which includes two routers (main and the extender/repeater/bridge) -- 5 cordless phones throughout the house -- two microwave ovens -- and a tightly grouped neighborhood filled with wireless home networks.The one and only down-side to this wireless headset -- in my estimation -- is the Bass response. It is pretty awful. It gets very distorted even when the volume is only slightly elevated above the average 'normal' listening levels. Otherwise, I'd give these 5-stars.

Pros: Comfortable, great quality sound and voice communication. I am a woman and was worried it would feel too heavy, but it is well balanced and sits well. Works with glasses too.Cons: One star off because the surround sound occasionally needs to be "reset" by turning the surround sound switch off and then on. This appears to be a driver issue that will hopefully get fixed in the future; in the interim, disabling other sound output devices (speakers) seemed to take care of it.Note: I have an average-sized female head, and this fits well on the smallest adjustment. If you have a very small head, you might find it hard to get snug enough.

The primary usage of this headset in my case is for gaming; the key attributes I look for in a a headset are quality, functionality, and comfort. Unfortunately I haven't owned them long enough to provide feedback on the overall life of the battery, however the life of the battery under constant use (mic and surround) is in the realm of 5-7 hours. I was extremely skeptical about going wireless but have been so pleased with this product I will likely never go back to a wired solution. (I'm currently playing BF3 and SWTOR)The sound the headset provides is top-notch, I've never had a high quality set like this on my head before and was blown away by the quality of sound that was produced; it's one of those things that until you've experienced it, it doesn't make a lot of sense. In-game reactions to your sense of sound and interpretation of where that sound is coming from is second-nature and it's hard to even notice you do it, but if you pay attention, you owe it to your headset for knowing what direction those footsteps are coming from...Functionality wise, I love the fact that I can walk away from my computer while in-game or on skype and still be 100% in communication with my friends. The mic mutes when you raise it up or you can use the mute control button on the set. I haven't used any of the G keys as I've been too busy to program them or research good uses for them, but it doesn't seem as if I will really need them for much, they're just an added feature or fluff to me.As for comfort, I'm embarrassed to say how long the intervals were that I would go with them on, and everyone is different, however I found them to be very comfortable and cause little to no irritation to my head or ears. They fit so well in fact, that the usual "headset hair" is a bit more pronounced across the center of your skull.Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone willing to drop $120 on a new headset; I have no doubt you will NOT be disappointed.

I bought this headset basically upon its release back in September 2010. It's been nearly 2 years now and I continue to love this headset! Even after hundreds of hours of usage, it's still extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods of gaming or movie watching. I use the 7.1 surround when I play BF3 and it sounds amazing. I use the 7.1 to my advantage many times during the course of a close quarters game because i can hear footsteps right before I turn the corner of a hallway! I also frequently get comments from other online gamers that my voice is pretty clear, so that's a plus about this headset, too. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this headset and wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone (not only gamers) looking for the very best wireless surround sound headset out there.Only about a month ago did I notice that the headset didn't hold a charge for about 9-10 hours anymore. I simply logged onto Logitech's support site and ordered a replacement battery for $5!Since replacing the battery (which was pretty easy to do), the battery life was back to the way it was when it was brand new!Link to Official Logitech site for spare parts for this headset:[...]

The main reason I give this headset three stars is because when it works, it's fantastic. The sound is great, the mic is clear, it's got great range and is just overall a really good headset.The downside is that it will sometimes drop connection and the sound will cut out. Sometimes just once, sometimes repeatedly. I've heard that interference with wi-fi can be the issue, but I've tried every channel on my wireless router and nothing seems to make a difference.Long story short: buy the wired version and give this one a pass.

I love this headset. It is very comfortable, the sound is excellent, and the wireless range is fantastic. 40 feet is pretty accurate for the range. It has a little weight to it, but not where it is an issue. The ears swivel, which I did not know from reading about the product, and it really adds to the comfort. The preset buttons come in handy for ventrilo when I walk to the fridge to get a drink and need to respond.My only concern is that with the swivel ear pieces, that they will wear out eventually, so I am being careful with it.I would definitely recommend this purchase.

The first one I got was defective. It would lose connection constantly, and at first I thought it was just the apartment I was in (many wifi connections in the area). After some checking around I decided to ask for a replacement as some people noticed hardware issues. It's a good thing I did because the new one works just fine. I think it was the headset itself in my first set that was defective, as I tried it out after syncing with my new USB dongle and it had connection issues. The first one works fine.So if you get a working one it's pretty nice. The software should be updated ASAP as the default software is old and buggy. Bass response could be better as well, but I got this on sale for $70 so I'm happy.

This was my first gaming headset. It said that it was like new, everything included just not the box. When it got here it was missing the disk which comes with the headset that explains how to set it up and use it. Its been a while and I still do not understand half of the options on the set. Very disappointing and not exactlty honest.

The feel and the look of the headphone is awesome. Been using for some time and the battery life is really solid. The wireless connection is stable and I did not face disconnections at all. The 7.1 surround is unbelievable when used in gaming to pin point the target. However, it is not recommended for music. The mic is alright for me and there isn't any static for it. My ears fitted entirely and it is really comfortable. However, your ears may get sweaty after an hour or so of usage depending on your room temperature.I faced some difficulty while I was installing the software and drivers and my headphone could not be recognized. But after some research, it worked after i disabled my UAC.The headphone is definitely worth for the price tag.

These headphones are probably the best in the market if you don't want to spend over 200$The battery life on them are great, I can have them unplugged pretty much all day, the stereo quality is great for gaming and music.only possible con is that the power button some times is tricky, there is a delay for it to turn on and you'll find yourself turning it off accidentally when you're trying to turn it on.

It comes in a type of package that you might find off a shelf at walmart. With plastic protecting the headphones, which I was skeptical about. Everything you need is included, you don't need to download a thing, unless you don't have an optical drive. The cd driver install, and software install can be done fast and easily.If your getting this product for leisure, or business, your fine with this headset. Everything you need out of it is perfect for you. The mic is crystal clear and the sound can be adjusted down to a hair.If your into gaming, or music production, like myself, you run into a few problems. The surround sound on these headphones are very noticeable and can be easily be adjusted with the software included. BUT- The Bass on these headphones is terrible. I can adjust the bass to whatever level, and treble, and it will not co-operate. Even messing around with an EQ did not fix it.If your playing a game with wind blowing, or a sword hitting a shield, or a sniper taking a shot, the bass is fine, and you might not notice it. But if you are in an area of .. let's say getting attacked with loud explosives, or for example, a dragon attacks in Skyrim(it is very loud and requires alot of lows)Your bass will become very choppy, and terrible to listen to.For music producers, or music fanatics, your pretty much screwed. Personally, listening to death metal, the fast bass drum sounds and low vocals and guitar riffs can really mesh your music together into a messy blob. I was really unhappy with dubstep and DnB playback. The bass is terrible, and the restrictions are evident on the bass. You can only listen to dubstep at a certain sound level, and no more. Disappointing.To sum up, these are a great pair of headphones. The mic is crystal clear, and surround sound very good. But the bass lacks. Playing dubstep loudly can quite possibly ruin your pair. My pair of JVC marshmellow ear buds (19 dollars) can outperform these headphones with bass.8/10

I have had this headset for about 2 years now. The sound is amazing, and the battery life is surprisingly really long.The only issue I have had with it is the micro USB port actually stop working on it. It will eventually pull itself out using logitech's charging cable. I had to RMA mine twice because of this issue. Logitech was very helpful getting a new pair to me without cost both times. Since I've used my Kindle charging cable to charge it and I have had no issues. The only thing I can think of is that the cables latching system is way to tight and will slowly tear out your USB port over time.

this headset is great i love it to death and dont want to part with it i bought it about a year ago and its still alive and kicking i kept really good care of it and as long as you do the same you should have no problem with it. i did however have to fix the mic it came loose but all i did was superglue it back on and no problems after that

I have read thru the forums for a lot of the top headsets and this one by far had the fewest complaints. It works as expected and it seems to be well constructed. Beware though :-) when you put them on you can not hear anything going on around you, not even the wife who you just woke up at 2am...

I used to love my headset. Updated to windows 8 and have had nothing but problems.connection between itself to its base drops about every 5 mins.Audio quality for the mic is in a higher pitch when on team speak.If I set the default device to be my computer speakers it will then not recognize the usb headset when I try to switch it back.The last few weeks have been a nightmare. Reading many forums I have not found any fixes that work.I can safely say I will probably not buy another logitech headset again.

This works great. I'm pretty sure the range is more than forty feet. The sound is incredible. I thought the surround sound was a gimmick. I mean how can you have surround sound with something covering your ears? However when I turned on the surround sound I felt like I was in a movie theater. My wife and I use it on the tread mill to watch programs. It really takes the boredom out of running on a tread mill.

There's apparently a problem with the power connector on the headphones that can kep them from taking a charge. I have this problem on the phones I just bought and they're useless now. Searched on the net and found that this was a problem others have had as well. Now I have to deal with the hassle of a return -- after I just disposed of the packing materials. Can't believe Logitech is shipping this crap. Don't buy them!!!Update: Amazon honored the return despite my not having the packing materials (thanks, Amazon) so I took a chance and got a replacement instead of a refund, as I really like the headset except for the jack problem. The new headset worked fine at first but is developing the same problem -- I have to wiggle the USB power connector after inserting it or it won't connect for a charge. The jack -- and I know it's the jack and not the plug/cable because it shows the same symptoms with other micro USB cables -- is clearly going to fail completely at some point. Can't believe Logitech hasn't fixed this problem yet. Ruins an otherwise very fine headset.2nd update: the second recharge connector has failed, making the headset useless. I'm now forced to buy a wired (Sennheiser) set to replace them. That's 2 out of 2 headsets that have failed the same way on me. There's obviously a serious manufacturing/design problem for it to happen 2 out 2. DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET!!!!

I don't find the special features (programmable buttons, simulated surround sound, some silly voice-altering feature) compelling enough to overlook it's more basic problems as wireless headphones.The biggest problem: bugginess. There are times when it distorts simple sounds (like Windows' folder navigation click) and occasionally sets the balance incorrectly (I spend a full round in a game wondering if there were others to my right because my footsteps weren't centered).Second biggest problem: interference. Microwave running will take it down at quite a distance (more than my ASUS headphones from long ago) this manifests as intermittent and digitally-distorted sounds. Charging while wearing the headphones will cause interference on the left side (very disappointed in Logitech for not doing more in the hardware to avoid this). Update (Dec 2012): also WiFi from an adjacent laptop can introduce cracking (akin to the sound heard when turning the plug in an analog jack).These two things make the headphones unreliable and frustrating and I certainly would not recommend them.

Okay, i rarely write reviews, but i wanted to get this out there so that it would help others.Before I bought the G930 I searched all over the internet to find out if i could assign KeyBinds / Keyboard shortcuts / Key Strokes to the G- Keys. I searched every where possible and could not find a good answer.The Answer - You totally can.For Eg you can assign Pg Down to a G-key, and scroll down in a word document using that G- KEyMake sure that you download the latest software from the Logitech Website (dont even open the CD that comes with it)You can assign pretty much any Key from your keyboard or Mouse to the G- Keys.THe other nice thing is that the software will also scan your comp and search for installed Games and build profiles based on those games, so you can assign game controls directly to the G-Keys.The Voice morphing is fun, and i cant wait to freak my friends out on Nazi Zombies.-So far no signal loss, no breaking up-I read many reviews that people hear their own voice in their headphones - YOU HAVE TO TURN OF "Voice Preview" in the Voice morphing Section-Surround sound is amazing, so far tested it out with some youtube videos having surround sound- its greatIve only tried it out for a day now, I will add any negatives that i come up againstSome minor - Very minor ones so far are1. The head set is a little heavy, for me atleast, but very slightly.2. When I wear the headset, i do feel one particular pressure point - but that could get better as i break them in (Also could a cold im fighting right now)3.I dont particularly like the infinite scroll on the Volume control - i like to know when ive reached Max/Min - Volume.4. Bass is Good only if your going from no Bass at all to this5. Overall Sound Quality I would give it a 7 out of 10.In the end the only reason to get this headset is for the wireless functionality.and for that as well as the price point - THIS IS THE Best deal - (Other wireless units range >$200)

Dunno what I'd do without this headset... Well, I wouldn't be pouring me cereal while listening to lectures on a different floor at the very least.Great sound quality, interesting drivers/program. Very sturdily build, and really well made all in all. Fantastic product for gamers, but great for just music quality too!

The headset itself is really cool. The battery really does last for 10 hours. However, the wireless part is not that great and the software to change the settings crashes a lot. In the middle of using the headset, it cuts out and then reconnects about five seconds later. That's when the USB antenna is about 3 ft. away! If I attach it to the back, then it gets no connection at all. The headset has to be really close to the antenna. The software has cool voice effects, but half the time it starts up at boot time, it crashes.

The first one I got had bad batteries and didn't work at all. Amazon sent a replacement promptly.The one I have now is good, but not great..Pros:-Good battery life.-Comfortable-Durable-Good range-Noise cancellation is good-Driver issues. Sometimes G keys and volume control stop working for a while. I've noticed white noise sometimes. I suspect driver issues here too.-Mic sometimes doesn't unmute the first time you bring the mic boom down.

I always trusted Logitech Products but this one bites the bullet you would think a gaming headset would fuction well tonight while playen mech warrior when to push the mic up to is laid back postion straight up and down and the whole headset cutout and now none of the LEDs on the headset even fuction anymore. the Head set is great however up to the point where it failed and stopped working.

I have had some issues with the functionality as far as needing to reset them due to the surround not functioning properly at first and also I had to reinstall the software once already because the device would intermitently power off on it's own. Since doing these steps for troubleshooting I have not had any issues and the sound is amazing!!!!!!I would recommend these to someone that is a little more tech savy than others due to the troubleshooting needs at first.

Might've been a faulty batch of plastic, but after about a year and a half of about 10 hrs/week usage the plastic kind of flakes and crumbles off in various places where things have seams and are bolted together. I would've expected this to last a little longer for the price we paid.

Bad audio? Set the Logitech 7.1 surround settings to 9/11 or 10/11 and leave the subwoofer at 11. Now, work your magic on the equalizer!Great audio and build quality. Love walking away from Teamspeak and still being part of the conversation thanks to the G-keys!!!

First thing I must say is ignore anything anyone says about the sound cutting off. This is due to a driver problem with the one given with the software on the cd.1) install software from cd2) Download the proper drivers from this site -> [...]As far as the actual headset goes, it is just great.Pros-----------ComfortableLong lasting batteryWireless goes upto 40ft (I got about 20-30 in my house but it is known to be terrible with wireless signals)LoudGreat quality sound.Cons----------Rather pricey, but you get what you pay forProgrammable buttons are not very useful when it comes to fast paced games (You're better off binding to the keyboard)If you're picky about these sort of things, the headset can only be worn with the mic and buttons on your left earOverall I would recommend this to almost anyone

I use this for gaming, Skype/G+ hangouts, and music. These headphones work great, are comfortable, and while they are not audiophile quality, they are balanced and have enough EQ options to tweak it how you want. Worth the money.

had these a few month and I like them a lot. Surround sound is great but I haven't used the mic too much.not sure i like the tiny on/off button on the side which is hard to use and they tend to slide off my head if I get too crazy but those are minor things.

I've been gaming for over ten years and never owned a pair of gaming headphones before. I thought that the price combined with the lack of using them for anything else was just not worth it. But I decided to jump in and many reviews took my to these. I was also a little apprehensive about "wireless" headphones, my car Bluetooth is one thing, but expecting high quality out of a pair of wireless headphones just seemed like a reach. I WAS WRONG!These have an excellent range in my opinion, I can walk 30-40 feet away and have multiple walls/appliances in the liner sight and still get a signal. I've only tried listening to music at these ranges though, I have not tried to use the mic at max range.They are very comfortable on my head and do not give give any pain after extended uses. The around the ear is very comfortable, I did notice that since the material is made out of some synthetic material, it does make my ears a little sweaty after an hour or so, to solve this just lift them up or let them hang around your neck for a minute. Even just lifting them up and letting air circulate helps.After comparing most of the competition I found these to be an amazing pair. I WILL NEVER OWN CORDED EARPHONES FOR A COMPUTER AGAIN. You don't notice until you use these how nice it is not having a cord running to your head.

I do get the little beep every so often as others have noted. But it only happens a few times a day and I use them all day at work. The wireless range is very good and remains clear. Mic is clear too. You could get better sound with a wired set but for wireless this is really good.

Owned for an hour, will update if there any problems.My reason for choosing this item was mainly because I was sick and tired of getting a set of headphones only to have cables break internally (even after reasonable care). I had originally bought a set of RCA wireless headphones from Walmart (non USB) and returned those in 48 hours due to a lot of interference and general feeling of being ripped off. I then looked on Amazon and found these. I paid around $127 for them (but had to wait weeks for shipping).. and for that amount I expect a quality product - I wouldn't have paid much if any more for them.The rechargeable battery can be replaced but it's non-standard so you have to order from Logitech ($5 + the same or more for shipping).Anyway.. item came with approx 2.5 hours of charge (manual says up to 10 hours fully charged with a full charge taking 2.5 hours).. the SOUND QUALITY (barring all this audiophile nonsense) is *VERY* GOOD, enough to send me here to make a positive review.As for fit, I have a large head :'( and it's not at all uncomfortable.The only negatives so far is that the wireless feature doesn't seem to allow more than 2 thin walls before the audio cuts out (may be different with a fully charged battery?) and the worry of having to obtain a battery in the future.EDIT ONE========POSITIVE NOTE: Software is telling me "Less than 55 minutes" of battery left and made a soft beep about 5 mins ago.. a good thing! (around 30 mins later) again saying "Less than 29 minutes".As mentioned earlier will report back if any problems.

I've had a pair of these for about two months and I use them like crazy. The surround sound is nice but not as nice as a full surround system, and in some games it's hardly noticeable, but I've liked the effect while having to watch movies silently and the wireless feature is awesome. The forty foot range doesn't do it justice. My house is 100 ft long and I can use it almost clear to the other end of it without having any trouble. Luckily, the mic automatically mutes when you put the mouthpiece up, otherwise this massive range would have caused a bit of embarrassment! ;)From other reviews, I had heard that they can start to break down after a year or so of heavy use. Know that they come with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty before you go out and buy an outside warranty! I ended up buying a 3 year replacement plan on them quite cheaply, so the investment is protected no matter what happens, but it would have been nice to know about the one it comes with anyway.I caught these on sale, and that definitely effected my decision to buy them, but if you have the extra $$$ and want to try them out, consider my review a green light.

I bought this headset about a month ago and have already begun to experience problems. The wireless is constantly resetting itself,even while I'm sitting right next to my computer. Occasionally it will get to the point where it resets multiple times within a few minutes! I even had problems with my computer not picking up that it was plugged into the usb port on more than one occasion.The product itself was fantastic for the first couple of days. The range worked even while I was on different floors of my house. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and the automatic mute of the mic when it's pushed up is great. It would be a fantastic product if it continued to work this way for more than two days.To make matters worse, I had an accident with the wireless usb. The poor thing ended up snapping in half and coming apart! I was hoping something like this would be covered in the warranty but sadly accidents are not covered. I suggest to anyone who is still considering buying this headset that they find a warranty that covers everything to go along with the headset. The actual hardware for the headset is very nice. It's comfortable to wear, feels sturdy, holds a decent charge, and sounds good. Hardware alone gets 5 stars easily.The drivers, on the other hand, are terrible. The current Logitech driver (downloaded Mon, Nov 26th 2012) does not even recognize the headset on Windows 7 or 8, which means it still works as a headset, but none of the extra buttons or settings are available (including 7.1 surround sound). There is an OLD edition of the drivers that you can find online in forum links that at least recognizes the device, but it's utterly unacceptable that the current up-to-date drivers fail to recognize the headset.
