My overall view of the Transcend MicroSD card is that the product itself is good; however, the adapter that comes with it is not HC compatible. I have contacted Transcend directly about this shortfall and they are replacing the adapters as we speak. I do not blame the vendor that sold the card as the package was sealed and it was not a pirated version of the product. There are many different products available through the Amazon website that are also not HC compatible but sold with high capacity markings. If I were to purchase more cards from Amazon.com I would ensure the vendor tested the functionality with HC cards before I ordered them or allowed them to be shipped to me. I suggest dealing direct wth the manufacturer for these VERY FAST MicroSD Cards as they are now available directly on their website.

Class 6 is fast enough for anything my phone is going to do and makes data transfer from my computer to my phone plenty fast. Great product and it has had no issues with me so far!

It seems to work in my motorola cell phone but my hp netbook xp doesnt see it. Transend wasn't able to fix it. Beware I wouldn't buy another one.

This product works great on my Verizon Samsung Omnia i910I watch videos from my storage card all the time and I havenot noticed any speed issues related to this card.

I use SanDisk Extreme III (Lumix FZ50) in my professional work, and Ultra II (Lumix TZ5) in my snapshots and most vacations. At the time, the 8 Gb was excellent, and could hold more pix than I would ordinarily take. Wanted to try a 16 Gb, and couldn't find an Extreme, though it was listed, so when I saw the Transcend, thought I'd try it. A friend had the 4 and 8 Gb, and liked them. So I bought, and so far, though it doesn't officially have the weather capabilities of the Extreme, I can't tell the difference in speed of r/w, and find no difference in pic quality. For significantly less money, for non-wilderness/severe weather use, the Transcend appears to be every bit as fast and as good as the SanDisk. The card reader it came with is not quite as nice as the SanDisk's, but so far (3 months of use) works just as well. The 16 has more capacity than I've been able to fill so far, but that just means I don't have to switch cards midstream, and can take marginal pix in addition to primaries, and edit what doesn't come out well. I will consider Transcend along with SanDisk in the future, and unless there is a clear technical advantage, will go with Transcend's lower price.

I guess Transcend has fixed their adapter problem, because what I ordered in late Dec 2008 works just fine--both card AND adapter. Hey, this is a fast class 6 card. I stuck it in my Samsung cellphone and it worked. Also recognized immediately by my computer when used with the adapter. By contrast, the Kingston 4 mb card that I ordered never worked in my phone--and it's the slower class 4 card. Maybe I just got a bad one with Kingston. Whatever--the Transcend works for me and the price is right.

The speed and size met the standard but the stability of the product was horrible. When I first bought the product it lasted only a day and the micro sdhc corrupted and became unusable. I bought it again thinking i misused it properly. It corrupted just simply by switching it from my device to the pc for the 2nd time, on the 3rd day of use.

I've had a pair of these cards running in my kids NDS's with 150+ ROMs for a couple months now and they have worked flawlessly. My ONLY complaint is that they are supposed to be 8gb cards and in reality they are 7.5gb cards. Now I'm aware all companies do this but I wish they would under-rate them instead of over-rating the capacity. Other than that they are well worth the money!

This was a great addition to my new Garmin Oregon. The price was right, and it allows me to load all of the City Navigator NT maps as well as several 24K scaled TOPO maps all at once. Speed of chips read/write is not noticeable at all on the Oregon.

I purchased this SDHC with my new camcorder. This utilizes a USB adapter that uses a port to download directly from the card. Very easy and quick to do. This is an excellent product and I would recommend it to all.

Great product! When it comes to flash memory, I buy only Transcend. I have been using flash memory for the last 12 years- experimenting with different brands. I now use Transcend exclusively because of their durability, speed, & lifetime warranty. A lifetime warranty is a good indicator of the workmanship of these memory devised. Works great in all sdhc compatible devices with capacity for an 8gb device. Check your specific device and model to ensure it is compatible with this large chip. Even some late model devices will not recognize 8gb.

Bought this card because it came with a card reader. None of my computers will read the sdhc cards. I tried it out and it works with my Camera and my computers.

This card is a Class 6 memory. The data transfer is really fast. Highly recommended for cell phones. I'm keeping on it several videos and 977 songs and I still have 3,5 GB remaining. Excellent Card!

Works great. I've used this to hold a gigabyte of data files and thousands of pictures and many minutes worth of AVIs. Besides using it in my new camera, I've used it in several computers and a PlayStation 3.I like how the USB reader has an LED light at the end, so you know for sure that it's plugged in.

Works just like an SD card, but smaller. Your card reader will have to recognize HC cards in order to read from it or write to it. But that should be expected considering it is an SDHC card...

I purchased this card for my T-Mobile G1 phone and it works flawlessly. I can't honestly say I notice a speed difference between this card and the stock 1Gb card that shipped with the phone, but I have not had any problems with it. Highly receommended.
