We needed phone memory for Samsung Convoy SCH-U640 cell phone. The Transcend 4GB card and adapter worked well. My computer could only handle 2GB memory cards, so I also needed to purchase an IOGear pocket reader/writer that works via USB ports. I loaded photos, music, and a short video on the micro-SD card. The cell phone played all the files great. The phone handles up to 16 GB of memory, but 4 gig was plenty for my contacts, photos, music and a video.

Works, speeds are as advertised.Got it to boot different OS's (ubuntu, etc) off of usb adapters and media cards. Speed works well enough for that, but not well enough for my 720p video recording.

This memory is plenty fast. I have not used it in a camera yet but I do use it in my laptop, plugged into a memory card reader for storing backups and it has preformed great for the past month.

I had a Canon S2IS. I really took about 30,000 pics and a few thousand video clips with that camera. It finally went E18 error on me as Canon often does. I was annoyed of course but my wife reminded me of the great pics and clips we got over the years with it. Our older Canon A-70 went E18 on us as well but we took thousands of pics with it too. We still buy Canon because of the quality of the pics and the video clips are the best quality. I believe we payed about 100 bucks for a 512 CF card back then. I bought the 16GB Transcend and then the Lensmate adapter to stop dirt and dust from getting in the camera each time the lens retracts. We bought a Hoya polarizing filter and a UV filter too. I got a chip on the S2IS lens and the UV filter leaves out the guilt of exhaling on a lens and rubbing it with your shirt as your wife winces at that each time you do that to get the "ooh, let me see the pic" finger prints that you get when people grab at your digital camera and turn it around with their finger tip right on the lens just as you were saying not to grab the lens while they look at the pic of them, then demand that you delete it because of their double chin. Probably one of the worst reasons why digital cameras stop working due to the lens becoming misaligned. The Lensmate adapter helps in protecting from lens misalignment as well. That's right, double chins somehow lead to misaligned camera lenses LOL. I carry a lens cleaner pen and find myself telling strangers that they are probably going to regret losing those pics due to what is on the front of their lens. They look at me funny, then are shocked when they look at their lens as I ask them if they ever thought of cleaning their lens with one of these nifty little pens. I popped the card in the day I got it and did not even need to format it. When I looked at the amount of pics it said at the highest of settings and the video length I just cracked a huge smile. The card does exactly what you want it to do. The reader works swell. Especially when I am about to look all over the place for the multi card reader that is "somewhere in the house" (but of course you never moved it there until you find it later and realize that is exactly where you left it and not your wife who you suspected moves all of your toys just to get back at you because of all of the men in her past lives ;)" Get the card. You can't beat the price. If you own an S2/3/5IS camera, get the lens adapter. I saw a cheaper one on Amazon than the Lensmate if money matters. The lensmate was still only about 25 bucks with shipping from their web site and beats Canon's plastic version that is over priced. Sorry to mention a few other products here but included them because of the Canon owners with the same cam as me who are wondering if this card works and are looking to add a few great features that cost very little more in expense. This card is a great start and the other mentioned products may extend the life of you camera a few more years.

It wasn't too terribly expensive, & the benefits are amazing in that in the the future, all my future phone purchases that can be expanded with Micro SDHC cards will be, due to this memory card, 16GB memory phones. It's like not opting for navigation in a new car purchase because if you just buy a less expensive stand alone portable unit which can make virtually any car you drive, own, buy, rent, lease or even ride in satellite linked for navigation without going through the hassle of adding expensive packages that come with extra features you don't need. But I digress... Unlike the fixed memory of the iPhone which you can't remove, I'll be able to make all my future cell phones 16GB phones, which is basically what I'm saying. Anyway, I'm very happy with my purchase, and actually, the price is actually really inexpensive, and a relative bargain. Go to Best Buy or your cellphone provider's corporate store and you'll see that they likely will only have class 2 or if you're lucky, class 4 cards usually topping out at 8GB, and maybe sometimes you'll find 16GB cards, but they'll usually top out at class 2-4 as well, plus they'll be like $99.99 and up. Anyway, this was a steal, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking to find a high quality class 6 card. Yet another flawless and incredibly pleasing purchasing experience using Amazon.com. I friggin' love this website.

Card was speedy, and was a great price, but only lasted for a few months before it began corrupting.I was using it for Apps2SD in an Android phone, and I may have simply worn the card out. It's a shame that it corrupted instead of simply going read-only.

Card was speedy, and was a great price, but only lasted for a few months before it began corrupting.I was using it for Apps2SD in an Android phone, and I may have simply worn the card out. It's a shame that it corrupted instead of simply going read-only.

I bought this microSDHC card to use with my new Sansa Clip+. The decision to go with a Class 6 memory card was a no-brainer. Transferring 8 GB at 6 MB/s goes a whole lot faster than at Class 2 speeds. Don't short change yourself, if you're going to transfer data do it as fast a possible. The little more cost is offset by the time saved.

I bought two of these for both my girls cell phones. I upload lots of music and pictures to this card. All is well. Great price! I used Amazon's eco-friendly packaging and there was little difference and no problems with it. I recommend this product for you as well. I did return and buy a second one myself!!!

Buyers should be aware that TheMemstore lists items for sale on Amazon which they do not have in stock. If you don't mind waiting a few extra weeks to get your product, their prices are good. Hopefully you will not have to deal directly with them for anything. I received an Amazon shipping confirmation with a USPS tracking number, but 3 weeks after Amazon sent me the tracking number USPS reports that TheMemstore has not actually shipped anything yet. All they did was download a tracking number.

I bought this microSD card and SD adapter to work in my Blackberry Bold 9000 phone and laptop. No problems whatsoever. The adpater works great. In fact I was having trouble with my other 8GB microSD and SD adapter from San Disk and put the 8GB micro in the Transcend adapter and it worked perfectly. I can't really speak to the speed as I am not very experienced with all the levels and brands. But it works fine in my Blackerry for pictures and topo maps.

No issues with lag, and the phone recognized the card the moment it was inserted. For the additional $$$, I am very happy with this purchase. I had a class 2 card prior to this and my ROM was extremely laggy, now it is extremely fast. If you decide to buy this product, I don't think you will be disappointed. the read and write speeds are better than I expected and the specifications are hard to quantify until you use it.

I bought this card for my EVO 4G in order to speed up file transfers as well as boost its storage capacity. As others have observed, this card is really fast. When I place my phone is USB mass storage mode I can transfer music photos and movies incredibly fast between my phone and my computer. It seems way faster than when I had my iPhone. So far I have had 0 errors which have arised from my SD card. Fully compatible with an EVO 4G as far as I can tell.

I purchased the micro SD cards (2)for a helmet camera. The cards arrived in a timely manner and as described. The cards work well and I haven't had any problems with them in the two months since purchasing. The price was about half of the price the helmet cam website was asking for them. I would recommend the cards for video and other applications.

So I don't have anything good or bad to say about this brand. Memory is memory. What did seem to make a difference, though, is that it's a "Class 6" memory card, which means it's fast. I didn't even know there were classes until I started shopping around. Transferring music to my old card was slow as molasses, so it must have been a "Class 1" or whatever the first generation of microSD cards were. This one's noticeably faster. Transferring an entire album used to take minutes, and now it takes less than a minute, so it actually seems to be about 6 times faster. The "Class 8" models are probably proportionately faster.
