I've had this card for a few months... the convenience of having an SD and micro SD card in one has been great. I've been happy with the speed, and for the sake of this review I did a quick test just now: from Windows XP I dropped a 177mb database file onto the card using the SD case that comes with it and a USB to SD adapter (so two adapters on top of the actual micro SD card)... it took 15.99 seconds to complete, that's 11mb/s... almost twice its 6mb/s rating (its a class 6). Nice.I love this card so much I bought another one for my new digital camera. Highly recommended!

I received my card in a timely manner. File transfer speed is very fast. My phone has had trouble reading this card lately, however I think this may a be a result of my phone being in the rain. I will keep a eye on the situation.

I am a fan of UMPCs and just purchased the (currently) smallest Windows XP computer from Dynamism, the UMID M1 mbook. The Transcend 8 GB micro-SD card installed instantly and the file transfer and read/write speeds are excellent. I use this to show Power Point presentations to customers on one-on-one meetings and the Fujitsu U810 with 8GB CF card took forever to load. With the Transcend Class 6 mincro-SD card on my Mbook, even large presentations load instantly. I have been very satisfied with the Transcend card and would recommend it to all.

I have no complaints about this card. It is very fast for a SD card. I liked the frustration-free packaging as well, definitely worth a little extra money.

I purchased this memory card to store maps for my GPS receiver. It works great and has good transfer speeds both for reading and writing. The included adapter is a great bonus as it enables the use of the microSDHC card on other devices that take standard-sized SD cards, such as digital cameras. I also like the plastic case included that has space to carry around both the memory card and the adapter in one small package. I have bought other products from Transcend before and I've always been pleased with my purchases. Highly recommended.

Full capacity (7.59GB) is recognized by the phone. For some reason I am only getting about 750KB/sec when transfering files to and from the phone (may be a limitation with the phone hardware), otherwise received it fast and as described.

I had been looking for a cheap way to expand the memory on my G1 phone and I wanted the fastest micro SD card around and here it is - a Transcend 8g class 6 card. The 8gigs is plenty of room to hold my stuff and the price is at the inflection point on cost per gig for me (ie the 16g is too expensive for the speed and the 4gig isn't enough space).I've been using this as my portable music player now for several weeks and all I can say is there hasn't been a hiccup. In fact, I think the card has also improved the speed of the camera (which is to say the camera is still horribly slow - but maybe just a tad less so on the writes). Additionally, I use the phone, mounted as a USB drive, to move files to and from work. In this, I've noticed that the transfers are much more snappy - always a good thing.For 20$, this is a great way to expand the storage space on your G1, or on any phone, that sports a micro SD card

i got this to use as an extra memory space for my mp3 player. the player holds 2 GB, so for 15 bucks i can triple the capacity, right? anyway, i haven't had any trouble so far, using it almost every day and it works great

I ordered two cards: one for a digital camera and one for a video camera. i was not aware that older cameras will not work with the new technology SDHC cards (over 2 GB). In the future make sure to check your camera's specification before ordering the card. Fotunatelly my daughter's new camera can use this card, being of a newer generation. My Canon SD500 can use a flash card SD up to 2GB only.The product is very good, I had now problems since I purchased it at the end of June 2009.

What can I say about it, it speaks for for it's self.It's a class 6 fastest SD card you can buy now that I know of. I haven't had any problems with it. There is no way you can go to ANY store and find any 4gb or even smaller at this price no matter how fast or slow the card is. I think you can go to wal-mart and buy a 1gb class 1 for [...]. But why would you do that when you can get 4GB Class 6 (30Mbs per sec) for [...].

The chip came timely, but it was already open. There was no proof that it was a new memory chip. There was no hard plastic casing around the chip. It simply came in the plastic little box. Could have been refurbished for all I know.

Using it in my mytouch, and it is working flawlessly. Set up an ext3 partition and my android (cyanogenmod'ed) phone is using the high speed memory access to supplement my phone's built in memory. Very happy with it.

...so it does exactly what I bought it for so far. Formatted it, popped it into my D2 and started loading my music, lectures and audio books onto it.Load time was very reasonable, certainly not too slow. Flawless function thus far. It's been in my D2 for about 6 weeks now. Time will tell if the card holds up over the long haul. If it does, it was an exceptional value for the cost at the time I bought it (these things keep dropping in price almost by the hour it seems here lately).07/23/2011 UPDATE: Well, it's been over two years now and my Transcend 16gb SDHC card is still functioning flawlessly in my soon to be hand-me-down Cowon D2 mp3 player - it's never missed a beat with heavy audiobook/class lecture access/play time use on an almost daily basis. I've moved new mp3 class lectures and audiobooks on and off this card at regular intervals since the first day I formatted and popped it into my D2. It's still going strong and will go with the D2 to its soon-to-be new owner! I only hope to get the same reliability and longevity out of the 32gb micro SDHC in my shiny new Cowon J3! :)

The Transcend 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card with Card Reader TS16GSDHC6-S5W randomly loses images. I returned the first one (originally bought 12/8/08) and now the second one (received 2/28/09) is losing images as well. I contacted Panasonic and they said do NOT use Transcend. For my Panasonic Case # 26614647, here are their exact words: "Please do not use the transcend brand at all. We recommend that you purchase a Panasonic sd card. If you can not get Panasonic, please get another brand like San Disk." Fortunately, Amazon was willing to refund me in-full even after their 30 refund policy expired.

The microSD lives up to every one of its specs. it's very easy to use because of its simple plug and play feature. The size is very convenient and this card will fit for any standard SD card slot with its adapter. It's a very good product and highly recommended. I've had no problems with it at all. I recommend this card to anyone who is looking for a bigger size than normal memory, but don't want to pay the extra money for a 16GB. Its very practical, and all my friends that have this microSD did not encounter any problems whatsoever.

My old 2 GB micro SD from Nokia writes at about 3.75 MB per second with the same adapter(approx. numbers from Vista, my 5 dollar 2 GB Kingston SD card, not micro, writes at about 7.5 MB/s).My Nokia N82 (which should read SDHC cards, does not like the card. It can read from the card but is very slow and freezes some time. No problem with the old one.I do not know if my card is faulty, or if I formatted with the wrong cluster size or sth. like this. I do not have to time for further testing. I may use it as a backup etc. Overall it is cheap, but I cannot recommend this card.Edit: After a first bad impression, I am using this card in a garmin nuvi 265wt. It works fine. A second speed test shows:Writing speed: 5.5-5.8 Mb/sReading speed: ~15 Mb/s.Still, I do not know why this card is not working in some SDHC compatible devices like my cell phone.

The microSDHC card works great in my Blackberry Curve as I suspected it would (Transcend is among my favorite flash memory mfts). The Blackberry is really not a great place to test speed, etc., but my confidence in transcend means I can do anything I want and not worry. I purchase the card so I could load large books, even though Blackberry is not exactly set up for books (it works). Its a good product.

Works as advertised. Much faster than the slow one that I had at first. (I put that one in DW's phone, she'll never notice). Really, don't get a slow one. When you connect a BB Curve via USB, and load 8GB of music card, it can take HOURS to complete. If there is a way to sync the card directly using a SD reader, it is supposed to be much faster.
