Bought this card specifically for the Midland XTC-100 Action Camera.Works perfectly in the camera, removes easily, fits the adapterexactly and the adapter inserts into the laptop for rapid download. As a class-6 card, there's no graininess, and no pixelation during playback. It does everything well, would buy again, and yes, I recommend for usein this action camera.

This card has never failed me, and I've formatted it several times for several different uses. I've used it in the Wii, in the Roku, in the camera, and in my Macbook Pro to transfer files. It's fighting the good fight, still.

I bought this to use in a keychain video camera.Previously, I'd been using a slower (class 2?) card. With that, the videocamera would stop recording periodically, without apparent rhyme or reason. With the Transcend class 6, I've had no problems.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I got exactly what I see in the pictures. An 8GB microSDHC Class 6 flash memory card with an adapter. Its fast and works perfectly in my Nokia E71. I can't complain.

First, a word about my application for this card: I bought this for my Olympus Stylus 550-WP camera, looking for higher capacity (Olympus's XD card M+ format only goes up to 2GB), and faster performance.Demonstrably this 4GB card is higher capacity. I haven't really noticed a speed gain over the Olympus cards (maybe half a second, even less), but here I'd mention two caveats. First, Olympus M+ xD cards have a write speed of about 4MB/S {I just learned this after buying the Transcend microSDHC card}, so the gain with Class-6 cards' 6MB speed isn't really that great, writing a single 4-5MB uncompressed JPEG photo file, YMMV (I may 'upgrade' again when Class-10 cards come down in price). Second, the 550-WP has been noted by a number of reviewers as having a 1-3 second lag time between shots, independent of settings and storage card speed. It certainly isn't any slower than the Olympus cards, and the Transcend 4GB Class-6 microSDHC card is less expensive than any xD M+ 2GB card ($10 v $14)Having said all that, I'd give this card a strongly positive rating. At less than $10, its a value. In your device you may very well see speed gains, dependent on your hardware and your expectations. This appears to be a well made card, and fits correctly in both xD and SD (full-size) adaptors, ans also a 'universal' adaptor that connects cards to computer directly. Granted this is a small and necessarily delicate item, so some care is required in handling, but this is no defect in construction of this brand or model, just a design limitation that is easily accommodated when handling all microSD cards.I will have to update this review in 6 to 12 months to comment on durability & long term reliability, but since this is essentially kust another piece of flash memory (one of the most robust technologies of those we've been introduced to over the last 25 or 30 years) like any USB flash drive, SD, CF, MMC, MS, Solid-state 'hard' drive, or other, I expect it to be fine. I had not heard of Transcend before purchasing, but since construction (case, contacts/connector, etc.) is very good, and since almost all manufacturers of solid state storage get their chips from either Sansa, Toshiba, or Kingston, it should last just as long as the "name brand".

These Micro SD cards are perfect. They're fast, they hold a lot, and they're awfully cheap. They're so cheap, they work great in the thumbdrive size readers instead of just getting a thumb drive. I've used them in two cell phones and two readers and have never had issues, and am buying another for a new GPS handheld I just bought. Over the past two or so years I've had them, absolutely no issues and I trust them with even my most important data.

The product works well so far. It's ok fast. I purchased it about 2 months ago for my phone to store images and maps on it. I'm a little concerned about reliability. I owned Transcend 4GB SD card before. It worked well until suddenly it stopped working - completely dead. So you never know what surprises to expect in the future.

I have used this memory card for over 2 years now. So far, I have had nothing but positive results with it. The Transcend 8gb Class 6 Micro SD card transfers/reads files very quickly and has never once failed me. I have purchased a few other micro SD cards with lower speed class ratings, and was very disappointed with their performance. I highly recommend the Transcend 8gb Class 6 micro SD card.

Write speeds from my computer to the card (via USB) were about 6MB/s (if I did the math correct.) It took about 15 mins for 5.39GB of data. The speeds measured on the phone with "SD tools" were as follows:Transcend 16GB Class 6: 9.4MB/s write, 24.0MB/s readSamsung 8GB Class 4: 5.4MB/s write, 14.1MB/s read.I used SD speed increase (rooted.) Your speeds may vary.Update: 7/24/2011Corrupt card today, I can't retrieve anything either. I lose everything I did since I bought the card. Guess it's partly my fault for slacking on backups. This is the reason why my next phone will have all it's memory built in, e.g. google's nexus phones, iphone etc

I bought two of these, one for my blackberry and one for my son's new digital camera. In both instances, these micro SD cards worked without any re-formatting or funky business. I like that they are Class 6 cards as cards at this speed usually cost more. Very satisfied so far on both accounts and love that these come with full SD adapters for use in laptops.
