It looks good and the soundstage is a few feet away, which combined with the decent imaging, makes for a good but overpriced setup. The sound isolation is also quite nice and my ears never hurt as the cushions were always against my head. Very comfy. I get better microphone quality from a 3.99 microphone that I can strap onto one of my nicer headphones that I am currently using, doesn't look as pretty though.

i use these for skype in my home office, and works great .. the headphones are quite comfortable and i love the long cord .. i wish very much they'd add an in-line mute/volume switch though, as i spend alot of time trying to find skype's tiny mute button whenver i need to cough/sneeze - if they added that one feature i'd give 5 stars and buy two more pairs

I bought these for my son for Christmas. He LOVES them. Says that they are very comfortable and that the sound is great on both games and music. I've tried them out and I wish I could afford a second pair for me. They were a little pricey for my own limited use, but I know my son will get my money's worth out of them.

I needed a solution for making Skype calls while travelling abroad to avoid usurious fees from Service Providers. In addition, I prefer the over-the-head fit to in-ear options.I'm really happy with the quality and function of these headphones. They're not going to satisfy the needs of an audiophile but they weren't designed to. They do exactly what they need to.

It was nice, worked very well, but heavy. Unfortunately, the connector inside the headset was weak, and got jammed inside, rendering it useless.

These have definitely lived up to my expectations. They feel great on my head. They sound superb. I use them to listen to music, play games and talk on vent / TS.

I was very excited for this headset due to all the great reviews it's gotten over the months.First Day: They arrived and the sound was sub-par. Nothing that I expected from a pair of high-end Sennheiser headset. I tried tweaking the setting in my sound card but it gave me no satisfactory level of audio quality.Second Day: Headset died. No sound at all. :(I'm returning this headset for my money back and get the ASUS Vulcan headset instead. This is the second Sennheiser product that I have bought that has stopped working in well under 6 months.

I own 2 headsets made by Sennheiser. This Headset is a whole new ballpark over the PC 161. Mic is Clean sounding. The headphones Sound awesome. It's a must Because Shade said so. These are SFCL approved

These are good-sounding headphones with a nice microphone for a decent price. My only complaint is that they sit *on* the ear rather than over. It's a bit less comfortable (the foam is a bit stiff), and it allows outside noise in. Some people may prefer this anyway. They use standard audio cables rather than USB, which allows you to use them with more devices, but also means they won't work with your XBox 360.

Well designed headset, the sound quality is only comparable with expensive models. It is very light with a very long cord. I bought two of those and it so much better than bulky and heavy, comparable headsets.

This headset is amazing, I paired it with a ASUS Xonar Phoebus ROG Gaming Soundcard Set Sound Cards and it sounds like nothing I have every used before.The headset is well built with a amazingly clear microphone and it folds up and very portable.

This gaming headset is superior to the older headset speakers and separate mic set that we used to use for all of our computer applications (gaming, music, skype, etc.).The sound is crisp and clear. Perfect stereo output of both high and low tones as well as atmospheric sound while playing games.The only downside to them is the comfort. First, they are hot. My other Sony noise cancelling earphones are much cooler, maybe because they are not made of a cloth material. The cloth material seems to make my ears hot.The next minor issue is the fit. The ear "holes" are the size of a quarter. So instead of encompassing my ears like the Sony ones, these lay on top of the ears. They are snug and allow movement, but the Sony's feel better.I do like that the cord is long, so it provides plenty of movement within the office or gaming area. It is at least 8 feet long.Overall, these are solid. The most important thing to me was the sound, and they rate high here.

If you're looking for a mid-range set of headphones for Rosetta Stone or any other voice recognition software, you're set. They have a separate audio jack for headphones and microphone and there's no configuration required if you want to plug these into a laptop or PC. The voice recognition is excellent and works well for built in Windows speech recognition (I'm on Vista for this).I am using these for Rosetta Stone pretty much exclusively. Having two jacks is nice too, if you're practicing with a friend. I will pull out the headphone jack while I'm studying if I want someone else to be able to hear the audio while I practice speaking. The plugs seem well built and are color labeled for user friendliness.These are a great buy if you're looking for compatibility. These are NOT usb headphones. I avoided USB headphones for fear of any driver issues, and I always seem to lose the stupid driver discs anyways. No problems with these headphones in that department.As for comfort, they are relatively comfortable, if a bit snug in places (near temples and crown of head). I have used them for hours at a time with no fatigue or discomfort, and they sit nicely on my ears.It's very easy to flip up the microphone and they're out of the way if you just want to listen to music, but I can't comment too much to their quality in this department. Sennheiser is known for quality among audiophiles, and some of my best studio monitors have been Sennheiser, so I think you'll like what you hear. For this purchase, I'm mostly interested in their microphone quality and fidelity, along with comfort during language learning.Noise cancelling is okay - the headphones don't really cover your whole ear and they aren't powered with anything too significant. If you need noise-cancelling, I wouldn't necessarily buy these on that merit alone.Overall, I'm very happy I bought these headphones - they've made my Rosetta Stone French 1 experience a lot better, and I can work with them for a long time in general comfort.

I found the perfect headset.It's light and very comfortable. The open dynamic keeps your ears cool as well. I've been in 13 hour skype chats, taking this off only to grab food or use the restroom. The velvet padding is AMAZING, way better than leatherette.The sound is great as well. I got an ASUS Xonar DGX sound card to go with this and it is beautiful. The microphone quality is great too.

The good: I like the sound volume dial on the right side and has great quality of soundThe boom mic is great and great quality, with its active switch being just to pull it down to levelThe mic works great for PC gamesThe bad: Sometimes I can't quite be heard correctly on skype with this microphoneThey spelled "Game" with a 4 - "G4ME"The ugly: It grates against my ear. After long gaming sessions, this leads to abrasive rashes on the very tip of my ear. Not pleasant.

They do a pretty good job for what they are... If you are in a bedroom or quiet place they sound awesome, but in noisy places such as an office the 'on-ear' design can make it challenging to hear without having to crank the volume....

I've owned tons of different headphones and have extensively used many others from all major manufacturers. I can hear things with these that weren't audible with other sets. I've also taken the time to read hundreds of reviews, prior to purchasing these. Your ears will not lie to you. My first impression was that even the packaging is classy. As I unpackaged them, I noticed that no camera can relay and truly show the amount of quality you've paid for. I can safely say that these headphones are among the very best for great sound, comfortably long extended wear, and I won't allow another pair over my ears. I did some quick preliminary tests for sound and voice quality by switching different sets and listening to various types of music/audio tests. These win hands down. You will need to turn your volume up a bit more on standard computer sound cards/laptops/default motherboard sound processors. These can easily be used in your home stereo system and can take what it dishes out. FIIO makes USB headphone amps to help. If you require more bass, you can perform a simple modification for that. Search "Modding the Sennheiser pc350 headset" for the details. READ all of the posts, before attempting the modification. Doing it will also void your warranty. If you would like velour ear pads, you can order the HD 595 ear pads from Sennheiser, part #094738. There's a wear in period for their comfort level to increase and the sound to fill out over a few weeks time. Enjoy!

I spent a great deal of time debating various headsets as I only had the opportunity to make ONE purchase right or wrong.A professional musician friend advised me to get the 350's as "they are phenomenal". Well, it was a lot of money to spend but I went ahead after seeing nothing but positive reviews and made the plunge.I'M VERY GLAD I DID!!These are a fantastic headset. I wear them for 4-10hrs a day and they are very very comfortable even though I have a very large head and ears.I use them primarily for VOIP and listening to shows where I can't quite make out what is being said without cranking the volume which my wife hates and they make all the difference in the world.voices are extremely easy to hear even with strong accents where before they were difficult in the best of times.the noise cancellation is very good though it does pick up some breath noise if your a heavy breather, but it is nothing more then what you'd here if you were sitting right beside them in real life.There is one con they have in might opinion and that is that their bass response is not as deep as I would like it to be. They are a very BRIGHT headset without being tinny. While they do have the full dynamic range one would want, they do NOT have the "window shaking bass" that a set of "headphones" or Klipsch speakers might. But for music that doesn't have this, for multi-media, and voip I doubt you could find something better, without spending thousands.Pro: Extremely well made, bright vocals, very comfortable, large ear cups, mic swings up to get out of the way when not needed, mic arm bends in and out as needed for better sound pick up.cons: low bass response compared to room speakers, does not mute mic when you stow mic away

I use these as comfortable all-around headphones for PC vid conferencing, Skype, and some music. Sound quality is good, the mic sensitive, but the fit over the head a bit large for small heads.

I own at least 5 pairs of headphones, and by far this is my favorite for everyday use. The sound is well balanced, and the microphone works superbly. Almost everyday use for over a year has not impacted this product at all, and it is still in great condition working fantastically. It does not pinch my head like many other headphones, so this gets a thumbs up from this guy.
