I ordered 3 750 GB Seagate Hard drives. I had to ship back two right away becuase they couldn't load windows. I checked with hardware software and it reported bad sectors. The third hard drive I loaded windows on a customers machine. The customer called me two days later because machine was blue screening and/or not booting at all. I'm sending back the third hard drive tomorrow. I opted to let them send replacement drives. The shipping is great. The drives showed up right away, but guess wheat!! Drive #1 of 2 isn't loading windows. This is making me and business look very bad. Considering never buying another hard drive from Amazon LLC!!! Bought this drive, failed after 9months. Called Seagate to do a RMA and I cant.Found out this is a OEM Drive that was included in a new laptop. I got no warranty with this andits technically used, not new when I got it.

It successfully replaced a 6 mm 5400 RPM Fujitsu HD in a Dell Ultrabook. Most laptop hard drive's are 5400 RPMs, this one is 7200.

I found some videos showing the replacement procedure, and that worked fine, it fit fine, the laptop booted up fine the windows install worked finethe packaging was unusual but worked fine to keep the harddrive secure while in storage/shipping but I could not find ANY info in box from manufacturer... nothing to register is there a warranty? Would have thought that would have been in the product container that is why I took off a star...

I bought this for a ps3 that I got off craigslist with a fried HDD. This fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install and then just had to reinstall the PS3 firmware which was easy to do thanks to some youtube videos and a flash drive.Bottom line: If you are wanting more storage space or have a broken hdd, this is fast, easy, and cheap. The only thing that would be better is to get the 1 TB if you really have a lot of stuff you want to put on your ps3

I used this to increase the memory in my first generation PS3. I am still amazed at how easy it was to do the upgrade. The PS3 formatted the drive which is great. I highly recommend it. By the way, I purchased a housing assembly with screws for this drive because the screws on the assembly in my PS3 could not be removed. This made for a simple, easy and cost effective upgrade.

My HD went on me after warranty. Bought this HD to replace the standard HD in my Mac Book pro 13" I can play Guild Wars 2 with no problem. Good luck and God bless.

The Seagate external 500 GB HD was purchased to replace the current 320 HD in my PS3. It arrived on time and excellently packaged. Easy install and works just fine.

I have been running two of these in a raid in my hot laptop for over a year with daily use and have had no problems. The RAID is fast, big and cheap. These drives have out performed anything I've had on a laptop in the past with the exception of SSD for speed, but you trade a little of that for workstation class size and performance in a notebook at a very reasonable cost.

Ok this is a hard drive, hardly an exciting item to review. Having said that, compared to the drive it replaced it is whisper quiet, at first I thought it wasn't even working. Seriously, in the dead of night no noise at all. It also writes much faster than my previous drive and has copius amounts of storage space. Furthermore, as this drive rests directly under my left palm I can say it runs far cooler than its predecessor. From my experience this is a fantastic replacement drive. If you want something faster I would go with a hybrid.

came in as expected and runs as it should, with no setbacks or malfunctions. but i hate the fact that i have to leave feed back if there's no problem with the product then they did they're job that's what is expected, no less.

Took 5 days to ship, but was delivered in two days,. I installed it in about ten minutes, it was really easy. Works great so far and my son's PS3 has plenty of space now.

Bought these to replace two HGST drives in my RAID capable Dell laptop. No problem so far (less than a month) but longevity is the key. A RAID 1 array is a good level of protection but don't let it be the only one.

The identical drive failed in my laptop after 18 months (not easy to detect - computer became very slow). Replacement came very quickly and worked well. I give it 3 stars because the original failed...
