Nice lightweight product. Headset is fully adjustable, which I like as it finally means my son has a snugly fitting set too in stead of struggling with "adult" version.Sound is decent on it, as is the mic quality. I have been told that I sound no worse than I did on the ?40 headset I had from logitech prior to this.If you are a Skype user, you may find upon first use you cannot be heard by other person. I would like to assure you after 30 minutes of delving into the unknown on my computer, this is NOTHING to do with the headset. You need to turn all mice and sound properties, both on PC and in Skype to full and untick "Auto adjust".Great little head set for the money. Needs to be treated delicately upon wearing and removing. I do fully intend to replace the headset I had prior to this one, but for an occasional user/spare pair, I could not recommend it highly enough!

It could have been a great headset. It is not too heavy; it fits comfortable; it has convenient controls; the sound quality is very good; microphone is great; wireless range is pretty adequate...But, unfortunately, several design flaws turned this potentially great device into an almost unusual piece of junk. Here are the problems:- This is a wireless device, and, therefore, it has to be charged from time to time. However, though the device charges from USB, you cannot use the headphones while they are charging. And charging from empty to full takes several hours!...- ... And you will have to guess when it is time to charge it! There is no battery level indicator. So the only way to play it safe is to charge the thing every minute you are not using it ...- ... Or it will die without any warning. Seriously, I expected it at least to beep when the battery gets dangerously low. But no, the headset just silently died in the middle of a conversation.There are some other small annoyances. For example, the USB plug blinks constantly when the headphones are turned off, and shines a steady bright blue light when the phones are on. In other words, there is no way to remove the light, and sometimes this gets really irritating.The USB plug does not attach to the phones, so you have to carry it separately - and risk losing it.In general: don't buy it.

I want to like these phones so much, but when ITunes locks up EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE THEM WITH IT, there is no way I can keep them. Not sure of the reasons; I use Windows 7 64 bit just for reference. The headphones will play internet radio decently. There is still some crashing and restarting, however.(Note that others here say they work fine with Win7 64 bit.) Also note that the Plantronics website does not say compatible with Win7 (in fact, doesn't say much about them at all, leaving us to try them with little guidance other than these reviews).And, headphone range is terrible...maybe it's my home, not sure. I walk 15 feet into my kitchen from my office and they begin to fade out. Maybe bluetooth just isn't something for me. Not sure.So, as much as I want to keep them, back they go. I have tried everything I can try for the last 3 days, and Itunes always locks up and the range remains lousy. Think I'll try the Logitech wireless and see if they are any better.

Today is my 73rd birthday. I no longer have the good use of my hands and so Dragon NaturallySpeaking became my hands and Plantronics.Audio 995 Wireless Stereo Headset became my voice and my ears. The sound is so terrific that sometimes I have to remove it from my ears to make sure that I'm not hearing the sound through my computer speakers instead of my headset. I can walk through the house and keep talking and typing. I can listen to my wonderful piano CDs on my computer all over the house using my Wireless Plantronics headset. I was in love with Dragon NaturallySpeaking because it allowed me to do so many wonderful things with my loved ones - e-mails, Facebook, blog, but now I'm double in love because Plantronics headset has created the sound that makes me feel like I'm with my family and friends. Who says a really senior citizen can't learn electronics! It's easy with Amazon's help to find all I need to keep LIVING instead of just living.

I decided to go wireless after the mic on my wired Plantronics headset finally broke (after years of daily use flipping it back and forward, back and forward...). I thought less than $60 was an amazing deal for a high quality wireless headset. The only two drawbacks, as I see it are:1. It requires a USB transmitter/receiver dongle (i.e. it isn't Bluetooth)2. It hurts my ears after wearing it for 2+ hours straight.Other than that, I can't complain. I use Skype as my office phone for a full day of work, and the battery always lasts me a full day. I should note, that in a full day, I spend 1-2 hours on the phone, and anywhere from 2-4hours listening to music while I work.

The sound quality is excellent - that's the good.The earpieces are large and do get cumbersome after a while. You have to remove the headset to check when you turn it off and there is a slight delay which takes a bit of getting used to. Also, it tends to slide on my head if I tilt my head forwards. That's the bad.The range just sucks! I have a small apartment and I can't get 15' away without losing signal. I have made sure the USB connector is clear and unobstructed, but to no avail. This makes the wireless part of the headset a real drawback. Mostly I have gone back to using my Logitech wired set. That is the ugly!PS It requires a USB port for charging when you are not using it. I have it plugged into my old Mac Mini so that's not a big deal for me, but if your USB ports are at a premium, it might be a problem.

This is a great wireless headset, but beware of a couple flaws that I think could be fixed. 1) While the battery life is good (around 5 hours or so), there is no warning beeps or lights to let you know when it is low on juice. You can be on a call and it will just go dead. 2) If it does die, you can't just plug it into a USB port and resume the conversation because you can't use it while it's charging. Better have a back-up wired set, if you want to make phone calls.My friend has the same set and wishes that it was foam earpieces instead of the "cover your ear" type that it is. He says that he can't tell how loud he's talking, but I don't find that to be much of a problem. The sound quality is amazing, the range is great (just don't walk around a corner into another room), and they are very comfortable.For $60 bucks, this is a winner for sure. Just keep it charged!UPDATE: I've now owned this for 18 months. The battery only holds a charge for maybe an hour and is not replaceable, so I came back to Amazon to see what's better now. I don't really see anything better in this price-range at all.I just use it for Skype (which I LOVE having as a phone-line instead of paying Verizon +/- $70 a month!!)PROS:1) Once you go wireless headset, you won't ever go back. Being able to type, send emails or files, walk around and pick up, do dishes etc. is sooo freeing!2) The clarity of calls is amazing.3) I find the headset to be very comfortable. Others have said that it gets a little warm after an hour or so, which may be true...but it's probably time to hang up on your sister talking about her "relationship issues" by that point anyway...just sayin':DCONS:1) I still find it annoying that you don't get a "warning beep" or something when your headset is about to run out of juice.2) Not being able to just plug it in to the USB and keep talking with a cord longer than 18 inches is something I would have thought a company as good as Plantronics would have fixed by now.3) The range is really about 30 feet. It doesn't like walls or microwaves very much at all.BOTTOM LINE:I've logged THOUSANDS of hours on this headset. It's been awesome! While the battery may be fading and have less life left in it...it's definitely the same with its owner.I bought this big dog a couple years ago for about $60, and it looks like I'm gonna buy the puppy for about the same...I'm sure I'll be happy again. PRO's: wireless and I can walk around with it while talking to people on VoiP. Has a volume adjustment knob on the left earpiece. Has an on/off feature to conserve on battery power. Pretty good battery lifeCONS: There's something odd with the sound. Every once in a while, it will squeak while listening to music or any intense audio.Other thoughts: When you aren't using it, remember to turn it off so the sound doesn't die on you.

Been using these for over 6 months now. Luckily I don't use them for long periods of time as they hurt my ears after a while (though they are very well padded - I think it is the squeezing of my ears that gets me). They are easy to hear even in noisy situations because they cover my ears very well. I haven't had issues with battery life as I don't use them for long periods. I do wish they had a battery life indicator, though. That is a major drawback of these. You won't know when you are close to needing to recharge them. For this reason it sure would be nice if you could use them while they were charging, but you can't. Wireless range is quite good ... my computer is located in the basement of a 3-story home. I get coverage through the middle of the house on all 3 floors but have several places where I lose the connection. Connection is lost when near the kitchen microwave when it is in use. It does what I need it to do.

After researching a couple of different headsets (Clearchat, everyman), I went with this one based on all the positive reviews.Call Quality:I use this to make Skype calls on it and I must say the call quality is top notch. I can hear the caller crystal clear and everyone I talk to says they don't even know I'm on a headset. If you want to use this for Skype calls this is a must own headset.Audio (Music):I haven't used it for listening to music yet so you'll have to read other reviews for that.Comfort:The headset is adjustable and fit very well. It's comfortable to wear but I think if I was wearning this for a couple of hours it would hurt my ears. It very comfortable for the time I'm on it, usually 15-30min, I just think that after a couple of hours I would start to feel the pressure on my ears from wearing it for so long. Overall this is a very confortable headsetRange:Excellent. I use it in the 20-25ft range and through a wall and there is no distortion what so everSetup:Couldn't be easier. I use it between 2 computers, one with Windows 7 and the other Windows XP. Both were able to auto load the drivers and in worked within 1 min. When you plug the USB reciever to your USB port it automatically sets your audio setting to send the sound to the headset. You just have to remember to unplug the USB receiver when your done to get the sound to play from your speakers again. This product works right out of the box with no hassle. Quick and easy for the non techies out there.Battery Life:I use this almost everyday and charge it everyday out of habit so I don't know how many hours it will last. Then one time that did drain the battery was after a few days of use without charging so I don't think battery life is an issue. But I did notice that when the battery goes, it completely cuts you off. No warning, your conversation/music will just end. So it's best to plug it back into charge after each use so you won't run into that problem. Also like other reviews here, you can't use it while charging, I deducted a star for that otherwise I would have rated it 5/5.Overall I would highly recomend this to anyone looking for a wireless headset for Skype calls. Easy setup, comfortable, great range, high quality audio and mic.

These headphones are pretty decent for the price, audio quality is about 9.8/10.Pros wireless and rechargeable great audio quality similar to .audio 455. Mobility allows me to do a ton, like listen for computer ques and while getting something to eat or do something else.Cons you must recharge after about 5-8 hours (from my numbers of hours counting) and you can't use them while they are charging. (What?) and after a while they pinch my ears just like the .audio 455. I have hope though that one day someone will submit a hack or firmware update to fix this charging problem.For about $50 they're worth the strange charging hassle/issues.

Received the wireless headset for Christmas. I have had a lot of wire ones this would be my first wireless set. Put them on my head to adjust and they broke in two places. And now one side is dead. This has never happened to me before as I have had numerous wireless (USB) ones before. Just poor quality of material.

If you have wifi forget buying these. They interfer with the wifi signal therefore they're totally useless. If you have a hardline to the internet I'm guessing they'll be okay.

I use this headset all day as I work from my home office on skype. It works flawlessly. My only complaint is, I wish it had a little more range so I could walk through the house while on the phone but it's still not bad. Fantastic sound quality and people tell me on the other end of the phone that my voice is extremely clear. I gave it 5 stars but I would give it 4.5 if I could simply for the limited range. Very pleased.

The Headset works. Easy to install...(Love this part). In a word...Functional...but If you intend to wear them for more than 2 hours or so...be prepared to take a break every couple of hours and take them off your head. Your ears will thank you and stop complaining about wanting just a wee-bit more cushion. :) Other than that...I have zero complaints. -= Earl =-

The sound quality and battery life are very good. It does become a bit uncomfortable after hours of continued wear though. However, this is my first wireless headset, so compariing it with the tiny wired headsets may not be fair. Noise cancellation is great. Range is okay; I can't make it to my kitchen without it cutting out. It is easy to charge with the included USB cable.I like to switch between headset and speakers quickly. I have had some problems in doing this with the headset. Simply turing it off doesn't seem to work on my PC, so I have to unplug the USB receiver.Although there are some quirks, I would recommend it.

The headset is great. So I'm just going to lay out the problems I personally had as an individual user. My circumstances don't necessarily mean you'll have the same issues. So please keep that in mind.1) I live in a one bedroom apt. I have a wireless router sitting in my living room and my computer is in the opposite end. The computer connects to the internet wirelessly. When I turn the headset on I found it disrupts the wireless signal and drops my connection significantly to the point of being unusable. I bought this set for gaming so my internet dipping is detrimental to the video game experience as its hosted online (World of Warcraft). I did set the channel (found under your wireless router settings, to AUTO) and this DID help. But I still do notice intermittent drops periodically.)2) The headset can go roughly 6-8 straight hours without a charge. Awesome. The negative to that is that it does not indicate the battery is low. So again, my experience from users and the game is cut-off. Best practice is to just charge it every/every other night to prevent it from dieing during use. I really wish it would beep at me at around 5% or even 2%. Some indication!That's it. The range is great in my apartment, I can go just about anywhere .. If you get to far away from the receiver you'll start to hear degradation of the audio. I should also note it's not Blue tooth compatible and the USB receiver is only MAC/PC compatible so no plugging it to a TV/Cable/DVD/Blu-Ray box.Thanks!

These things are great. After a full charge, which only takes around three hours... they last for about 10 hours! I use them on Second Life every night, and to listen to music while doing dishes and what not.The battery life is amazing to me. 10 hours off a 3 hour charge?! Unreal! all my friends on Second Life think they sound the best of all of them! Music sounds awesome through them, and I do all my PodCasts for my websites with them. One I do for kquandry.com (second life site)is so great, since it is a "rant" style PodCast related to the second life experience. I can get up and walk around the house while I get everything off my chest. and the folks who subscribe to my site kquandry.com for the PodCasts love how it sounds.I am so glad I bought these, and would buy them again in a split second. If anything ever happens to them... I will buy the same pair again and again! By the way, I went through about 8 other types of headsets before finding these. cheap ones, moderate ones and some more expensive ones. they all sucked and broke ovr a short period of time.I have had these Plantronics for over a year, and they are PERFECT!I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality headset. Plantronics has my business for life. I bought Plantronics because I was given a bluetooth headset for my cell as a present, and it was Plantronics... it turned out it was THE absolute best bluetooth I ever owned. So when I was in the market for a headset... It only made sense to give them a try after finding these online.thank you Plantronics! What a great maker of high end audio equipment!

On the plus side, the sound quality of this headset is superb for the price. I bought this primarily to use with Skype, and it definitely works well for that. Music sounds great --- so good I'd be tempted to use it to listen to music all day ... if it weren't for two issues.1. This set is a little uncomfortable. After experimenting with it, I've found that if I put it at just the right position, it's fine; but that can be a little tricky.2. The range is only 40 feet, and the signal can easily be broken up by walls. My place is only about 900 square feet, but the signal starts to break up as soon as I went into the kitchen to make coffee. It came back when I moved into the living room, but while sitting on the couch the sound, while playing for ten minutes or so, cut out for several long gaps.I bought the set to make calls, and it's excellent for that. Great call quality, and music sounds insanely good. A little more range would be nice, and it would be even nicer if you could use it while charging. But all told this is a great value and probably the best set available at this price.

I bought this thinking it would be a perfect way to make calls from my computer via soft phone. I can actually use my computer to dial my cell phone, and handle the call via this headset, while listening to my music in the background, which is completely undetectable to the other person on the phone. It's great for conference calls when I get bored, or just for my ADHD when I need my music for therapeutic purposes while conversing with someone else.The bad stuff? It's not very comfortable, I keep feeling like the mouth piece should be on the right hand side instead of the left, the range is less than sufficient for my mildly peripatetic needs, the battery doesn't last as long as I had expected and must be constantly recharged, and the music controls go forward but not backwards.The sound quality is good enough that I can enjoy my music, and when making phone calls no one can tell that I'm using a wireless headset instead of holding the phone receiver in my hand.Over all, I'm not the happiest camper of them all, but I'm keeping the product and using it regularly. I can't use it for my full work day due to battery life, but it serves it's purpose for about half my day and I'd rather live with that than continue to experiment with other products hoping they won't be worst. Plantronics is usually better than most other options.UPDATE: A few months after the purchase, this item stopped working. Not sure why, just won't make any sound. I have to check with Plantronics customer service to see if they're willing to do anything about it, but overall this is very disappointing.

had these for 1 day and they are extremely comfortable, even with glasses. sound quality is very good and the people i speak with on ventrilo say it sounds great on their end.this is my 2nd wireless headset and they are far superior to the sony ps3 wireless set. although i use both sets for pc and the sony works with pc but is limited. after all, it was designed for use with the sony ps3.i would recommend the audio 995 to anyone who does gaming.

I have had one of these headsets for over a year now and I am extremely happy with it. I have tried the bluetooth headphones and they are no comparison to this set. Bluetooth can be a pain to set up and if you leave the room or turn your head the wrong way the signal fades but with these headsets they use the same signal as cordless phones I just plug up the adapter and turn on the headset and can walk all over the house listening to music and chatting on MSN messenger and it sounds great the whole time. I guess I should clarify that walking around my house I never get more than 50ft from my computer but that is a couple rooms away and only hear a scratch when I turn my head the wrong way. The only thing I don't like about them is that you cant use them while they charge so if they go dead you have to turn them off and plug them up to your computer to charge and wait, but I have learned to deal with it and the battery last a good 6 to 8 hours a day before I need to charge it. The only reason I ordered this one is to replace my older one because the battery is starting to get weak because I use them so much during the day. I take them to work with me also, so I get a good use out of them all day long. All in all i am very happy with them and when i wear out the battery in the new pair i have i will be getting me another set. And the sound on them are very clear too everywhere i use them.

I read these reviews before buying these wireless headphones. I do a lot of dictation and needed a headset that was accurate, durable and comfortable. Since I was warned that you can't use them when they are charging, I bought two pairs. That way, I always have a charged headset handy. They definitely do the job. I use them with Dragon NS 10.1, and they are highly accurate. I can also listen to music through them at the same time I am dictating... I wasn't expecting to be able to do that, and it is amazing. The sound quality is very good. I can't compare these to other products out there because I have never tried another wireless headset. At this point, though, there is no need to.They charge in about 3 hours through a USB 2.0 interface and connect wirelessly to my computer through a dongle. (Each headset only seems to work with the dongle it came with.) They are comfortable, easy to use and seem very durable.One of the two headsets I bought had a very long battery life with dictation (I would estimate 6 hours. It is shorter when I listen to music while dictating.) The other headset had a much shorter battery life. I called Plantronics expecting to get lost in a maze of push-button phone menus. Instead, I quickly got through to a person who sounded like he was in my time zone. They are sending me a replacement pair with absolutely no hassle, and in the meantime they'll let me keep the one I am returning.So, bottom line... these headphones work very well, are very reasonably priced and appear to be backed up by real people who give great service. Hence, this review!

My company purchased this headset to replace a Microsoft corded USB headset in order to eliminate the tripping hazard of the cord and to provide the ability to roam short distances while maintaining the call or teleconference. The headset is reasonably comfortable, though somewhat snug on my head. I wear glasses and the ear cups press firmly enough against the side of my head that it tends to affect how my glasses rest on my ears. Sometimes I have to adjust my glasses after putting on the headset. I find that the ear cups block out the sound of my own voice enough that I tend to speak a little louder than necessary. I am learning to adjust for this.The ability to roam throughout the office while the headset is active is a big plus over the corded headset that I used to use. Range is decent, as I can walk down the hall or to another office without the sound breaking up. However, it doesn't have quite the range of a Plantronics analog cordless headset that I have used with a traditional land line phone.The sound quality is really quite good, especially if I am listening to music. It wouldn't match the quality of an expensive pair of audiophile headphones, but it really is quite good.Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. There are a few things that I am learning to adapt to, but for the money it is a good buy.

We bought this as anniversary gift for my friend. This works pretty awesome. Just plug-in the wireless USB stick and start using it. Clarity of the sound and voice was good, but the distance range it covered was less than what the specification says.On the whole it is good and we are planning to buy one for us.

I use a headset solely for VOIP/Skype calls and dictation using Dragon Naturally Speaking. I ordered this in an attempt to upgrade to the "convenience" of a wireless headset. First, it's simply too big and clunky to be comfortable wearing for any length of time. Second, it cannot stay connected and I finally yanked it out after having to reconnect it repeatedly during the first few days. Third, the design is such that you will have trouble hearing your own voice when you're dictating or on a call - the ear cushions allow you to hear a caller well but muffle your voice so that your voice sounds oddly disconnected with the end result being that the overall call audio is far from natural. Lastly, Plantronics technical support is non-existent. I tried to contact Tech Support by online chat (waited 22 minutes only to be told that my "session", which never actually began, had "timed out" and then i was disconnected). I followed up with an email to them and received no response whatsoever. I've generally had good luck with Plantronics cell and wired headsets but that seems to be a thing of the past. I'm back to my wired headset and I'll wait until Bose brings out a wireless computer headset before trying this again.

I bought 2 headsets, one for myself and one for my husband. Unfortunately, I am still struggling to use this device, My husband uses it as if he designed it, meaning it really works for him. He uses it daily and for hours and recharges it overnight. Although the battery failed him one time when he forgot to recharge it. The only disadvantage about this headset is that you cannot use it while charging it. I will continue to work on using mine till I get it right. The ratings are based on my husband's experience.

Let me say first that the sound quality is excellent and the recording quality is equally impressive. The down sides are... occasionally I get feedback when using ventrilo or Mumble for gaming. The battery lasts only about 5-8 hours or so which means frequent recharging. Other than charging issues and occasionally sounding like an decepticon trying to add to your conversation every now and then it is an excellent piece of equipment.

I bought it 3 weeks ago after quite an extensive research and having read all many reviews and I am quite satisfied so far.Pros:1. Price. Basically, everything cheaper than this one is not any good and bigger guys like Logitech G930 and Creative Labs WoW are way too expensive.2. Sound. Quality of both headset and mice are very good so I can both hear and be heard very well.3. Distance. It works much further that a regular Bluetooth, for instance.4. Fit. It sits even on my big head quite good.5. Simplicity. It's just plug and play, no drivers required.Cons:1. No, it doesn't work while charging. So one needs to develops a habit of connecting the headset to a USB cable every night2. What's even worse, it still consumes power even if not used but just turned on. So it's gone in 4-5 hours regardless of its usage. So another habit one needs is to turn it off when not used.3. Headpieces don't completely cover and isolate ears.Bottom line: Perfect for occasional use like skyping, especially if you want to be able to walk around your house while talking (that's my case). May be not that great for listening music and gaming but still has a perfect price/performance ratio.

I use it with Skype, mostly for calling out, turn it on just before I want to use it and turn it off immediately after. It takes about 2-3 seconds to turn on and sync so it is just a little slow on unexpected incoming calls. I really like the freedom to walk about my apartment and talk on Skype. I charge it after a few hours of talking so I don't really know how long it works on one charge. People have commented on how much clearer my voice is and I hear a lot better as well. I like the mute by lifting mike feature. Haven't used the button/controls much so can't report how an iTunes user might feel about it.

I have a girlfriend who is a bit long distance so I got each of us one of these so that we could set up a voice call then go to bed (as neither of us have an unlimited calling plan on our cell phones) and the battery life is great. Sometimes it even lasts long enough for me to say good morning and for us to wake up to each other's voices.

I originally had trouble with getting this to work with my pc that had vista installed, when i upgraded to windows 7 it worked great with no problems. Would be better if you could use with the power cord attached so only 4 stars.

Product seems to be "Good" after a few uses. It does not have much range though and it does not work through walls or around corners. if you want to eliminate the cord on your headset, this serves the purpose nicely. Sound quality is good.

In a nutshell, this is a great headset. It's perfect for those who want to get rid of the hassle of the cords.Overall, it is comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time. As someone who frequently needs to talk and listen on my computer, it does exactly what it says it does--with minimal outside interferance and the sound is crisp and clear. Although it sometimes has a bit of static when speaking, overall it is a solid value.Pros: Comfortable, can easily use while charging, charge lasts a long time, DOES work with Windows 7, decent sound, and easily switches between being actively speaking and not by just flipping the microphone mouthpiece up-brilliant!Cons:A bit of random static (may be due to other electronic interferance), color (not a fan of the silver and black).

Platronics wireless headphones are have a good value, excellent for skype, though they are not really for listening to classical music, as there is some little noise from time to time.Also it's not possible the charge them without PC / USB, as there is no charger in the package, just a USB cable.Another downside is that it's not possible to talk while charging.

This headset is sized for a kid's head and a kid's ears. Consequently, if you are an adult, your ears get tender after an hour or so because the ear muffs are pressing on your ears instead of engulfing them.The sound is great, as is the sound of your voice as transmitted by the microphone.It takes a long time to recharge the headset, but if you pay attention and plug in the charging cable after you are through using the headset, you should always have enough juice to make some VOIP calls or watch a movie.The problem is the ear muffs press on your ears. This is not good.

I purchased these as a replacement for a wired headset.Pros:I am not tethered to my computer.The charge is good enough for me 5-7 hoursThe controls are very easy to use.Wearing of the headset does not hurt my ears. Its all about placement. If I wear them alittle off yes my ears hurt after 45 minutes.Very light weightCons:No battery life indicatorMinor signal issue - not a loss of signal but the sound get a reverb in it.Boom mic needs to be a bit shorter.I have to restart a program if I switch from wired to wireless. More of software then hardware issue.Overall good purchase I just wish I had purchased here and not in store for $99.99

I use this daily for conference calls (Skype, GoToMeeting, and Google Talk).Pros:1. Easy to mute (just raise the mic boom).2. 3.5/5 on comfort.3. Driver, etc. is reliable.4. Wireless is good from those who don't want to be stuck sitting at the desk during long calls.Cons:1. No warning when the battery is dying and no way to plug it in and make it work off USB power.2. Too large to carry on the road. Not a huge con, but worth mentioning since many VoIP converts also probably travel from time to time.I think I paid around $40 for the unit shipped. That's comparable to the retail on some wired USB headsets. Shop around. It's a good unit for $40-$50.

I was excited when I got these. I didn't have to deal with anymore wires. The signal on these are great. I can go about 90 feet away and still pick up a signal and what is being said. The battery life last anywhere from 8 to 10 hours for me. I'm a hard core gamer and usually stay on for a miniumum of 8 hours on the weekend.Con on this is that they are very uncomfortable. My ears usually hurt when I take them off cause they feel so tight (even when I try to stretch the headphones out), and the other thing is there isn't a beep or anything to let you know when your headphones are about to die, they just die. So you can be in a dungeon talking with your group on what strategy to use next and not even know you have faded out till they start typing something on the screen. If it weren't for these 2 things this headset would be perfect. Maybe in the future they will correct these 2 things.Still all in all it's a good headset for the price and I will give up comfort to be wireless anyday.
