I spent a while looking for wireless gaming headphones and finally settled on the Plantronics. They make other good audio sets so though it was worth the chance. They are comfortable and light. But, they almost feel cheap they are so light and plastic. Sound is good and the mic works well. My biggest complaint is, if I don't use them for a day or three they have to be recharged before using. There is no indicator to tell you the strength of the charge remaining. And, since you can't use them while charging you're out of luck if you need them. Once you discover this, however, it becomes easier to make sure they remain charged.I would purchase this headset again if I need another one, unless someone comes out with a terrific set at this low price.

The Bad:Very small headset, not adjustable for width. I have an average head and can only wear for 45 minutes due to ear pain.The wireless range is about 15 feet in an open area.The charging cable is too short.Cannot be used during charging.There is no battery level indicator.The Good:The sound and mic quality are great.

The good reviews convinced me to buy these headphones for use with Skype. The sound quality is so nice that I use these for much more. You won't be disappointed.A wish for the future would be that these could be compatible with other gadgets such as TVs/phones/mp3 players. It would also be nice to have the ability to plug them into the headphone jack for times when I'm sitting at the computer and want to save battery life.The wireless range is farther than I expected in a house with wood/sheetrock walls but not so great with concrete block walls. The ability to adjust volume from the headphones works without regard to the program you use. Pause/Skip tracks works only with certain programs -- JetAudio being an example.Overall I feel that the features and quality have been worth every penny.

I love these headphones!Very simple to useI can wear them for a maximum of 4 hrs, any longer than that and my ears get a little sore.I live in a small studio and the signal is great anywhere.Microphone is simple to use and no additional programing is needed.Is very comfortable for me to make phone calls from Skype with these headphones.I bought mine at best buy (big mistake) I ended up paying $95 [big dummy]so if you are thinking about buying this product - I would recommend you do so here

The good news first:I like this headset. The sound is good, a bit thin for music, but good for skype and gaming, which is what I use this for. It's comfortable, and I love being able to walk around my apartment while wearing the headset and talking to someone.The bad news, there's a couple little quirks:-If the battery dies in-use you have to stop using the headset, plug it in and charge it with a usb cable. While it's charging you can't use it (why?) -Nonreplacable battery, so you are basically paying to use it for a year and a half and throw it away after it stops holding a charge. The usb cable doesn't carry audio (again, why?)Love the headset, it works well, I just wish they: 1. made the battery replaceable and 2. would have the usb charging cable carry audio so you can use it when the battery is dead.If I had known all of this beforehand I might have specced out other headsets more before purchasing.

The sound quality of course is not going to match your 2.1 speakers attached to your computer, but it's good enough. The mic works well (i'm assuming) since people say they can hear me just fine. As for music I didn't expect it to have good bass, which is doesn't, but that's not why I made the purchase. I would assume the number one reason anyone would buy this product is because it's on the cheaper side wireless headset. For that, this product is excellent, I've been waiting a long time for a wireless headset and finally bought this one and I'm very satisfied.Keep in mind these aren't my number one speakers, I only use them maybe 50% of the time while on the computer and I'm very happy with it. Very simple to use, basically plug and play. Battery life is good, comfort is acceptable.

Overall i really liked the headset. My main complaint is that they give you a 18" wire to charge it with and when you plug it to charge, it turns off! Basically you need to remember to plug it in every day or you will find yourself experiencing a new form of dropped calls. I have had this thing randomly turn off on me so many times that I have moved on to a different headset all together.-no battery life indicator-no signal to indicate battery low!?-headset is very tight. hurts to wear after a few hours of use.

This Plantronics wireless stereo headset has been great. I've used it to listen to music on the computer, take part in LiveMeetings and record screen captures for playback later. It's worked extremely well at each of these tasks.I've used it on two different machines, a Dell laptop & desktop. Installation in each was a snap. The range of the wireless transmission is such that not only could I lean back from the desk when I wanted to, but I could stand up, stretch my legs and move around. The only time it cut out completely was when I moved into another room, without a clear line-of-sight to the receiver.The sound quality has been just fine for my purposes. I have noticed a tendency for the occasional signal loss which comes with an accompanying digital... whine? scream? discordant sound. It's less than pleasant, but it only happened a couple of times.Charging it up is very simple, you only have to plug it in to a USB slot on the machine. It's very comfortable on the head despite it's size. While wearing it during a web conference of more than an hour, I didn't have any problems with it.This was a fine functioning piece of hardware. It's replacing a foldable Plantronics headset that I had previously.

Studio quality speech in, really superb; can't comment on speech out, but I'm told it's good. Decent range and battery life. Build quality seems fine for what they are. All in all, a fine product, with one caveat: the earcups are small. If you have delicate pixie ears with no lobes, you're golden. If you've been endowed with large flappers this headset will begin to hurt after about 2 hours. So, small eared or short duration folks, buy 'em. All others wait for Plantronics to produce a human-sized version of this product.

The item is great the only problem i had was that you cant charge and use the headset at the same time. The battery life for me is only around 5 hours max.

I was very worried about moving to a wireless headset, I had tried the bluetooth models and some of the others with no luck. I decided to try this one because of it's good reviews and too many broken cords from the corded ones.... it works Wonderfull! I wish I had gotten one months ago. Battery life is also extremenly good, I have used it for more than 4 hours on a charge!

If you have a small head, don't by this product. The headband is adjustable, but there is more than 1/2 inch empty between it and my head at the smallest, which reduces the comfort. Other than that, the product is great.

I brought this headset one month back. i dint find any issues with this. audio quality is not that great, for this amount i expected good quality audio out. But never mind, overall i can rate this above average

It's hard to find wireless headphones similar to this pair. I work at Best Buy and suggest this pair to anyone that wants to enjoy their computer's audio without the wires. I like that the mic can go up and out of the way as well. I had some problems with sound quality but that's probably because my house is a mess of wireless signals.The on ear playback controls are a plus. I use them to control my computer when watching or listening to media from bed!

Had same unit with wires so it's good to be free of them. Ear 'muffs' could be a little more comfortable (for larger ears) with extended use. Range is pretty good through walls and downstairs to next level. Seems like battery life might be limited so when not in use I keep them plugged in to USB. They don't charge when my PC is off. For the price might be best choice. Yes, I recommend them.

I have been using this product for two months, enjoy the songs with good quality sound; however, if the wireless range can be a little bit farther and battery life can be longer, this Plantronics will be perfect to me.

I purchased these headphones primarily for playing games to replace my Plantronics Audio 90s. Immediately I noticed these hard more bass than the 90s and almost no treble, which made them much much worse for playing games like Counter Strike and Quake Live. On top of that, they use the same wireless frequency as my Logitech G7 mouse and when using the headphones, the mouse stops working randomly and the headphones spit out garbled sound. If you need a pair of headphones for listening to music, and also don't happen to use a wireless mouse - then great, these might be fore you. But if primarily use your headphones for gaming, or have long since moved in to the 21st century by using a wireless mouse, you will be severely disappointed with these.

As we all know you get what you pay for but, every so often you are surprised by a good deal thats hard to believe but let me say that from the time i recieved this headset and started using it i have been completely satified with the purchase they hook up very simple just plug-n-play thats it, i saw one review that complained about his wireless connection and wireless mouse would disconnect but that has not been an issue for me not one time have i lost either connection, so in closing i have to give it a thumbs-up....

Havn't had a bit of trouble with this headset. I use it mostly while on SKYPE. Have had no complaints from those I talk with. Plantronics must be doing something right.

Be warned that this device does not work with iphones/ipods. I called technical support (which was very friendly and helpful, by the way) and they confirmed this. This pair of headphones works fine with your computer (e.g., for listening to music, skype, gaming, etc.). In that case, the audio from your computer (whether Apple or PC) is transmitted wirelessly from the included USB adapter to the headphones. This transmission is done through bluetooth. But be careful: these headphones cannot be connected as a bluetooth device that your iphone or ipod could pick up (as those devices don't have a USB port). If you want headphones that work as a bluetooth device with iphones/ipod, you need to look elsewhere, such as the Nokia BH-503 (Nokia BH-503 Wireless Stereo Headset (Black)). Just a word to the wise!

Love the fit, audio quality (in and out), and the ease of use. A longer period between recharges would be nice. A longer recharge cord preferably one that would enable use while recharging would make it perfect for almost all users.

WOW... I just received this today and I love it!!! I was able to get it to work with WinXp and Ubuntu 9.10 (PulseAudio). The sound quality is better than any of my Wired headsets. The freedom to walk around while talking is just what I need. The headset is very comfortable. Great Job Plantronics!!!

The range is 40 feet not 30 meters as listed at the bottom of the product description. I was smart enough to verify this by the manufacturers pdf manual, so I didn't buy. This uses x/fi technology that only has a range up to 40 feet.

Great Head set, decent range, decent battery life, Hard to turn off. A pain to switch between computer speakers, and head set. In order to switch between head set and speakers, all sound out put must be turned off and device plugged up or unplugged to switch between the head set or speakers.

I usually don't take the time for such extracurricular activities, but since I am very fond of this product, it is only fair that I take the time to comment.I am by no means a techie or an audiophile. This is the first and only pair of wireless headsets that I have ever purchased. I just want to say that I am 100% happy with this headset. The sound quality is better than the previous set that I was using. Those were a wired set...approx the same cost as the wireless Plantronics. Anyway, the battery seems to hold an ample charge for my usage...which is quite heavy. Additionally, I can walk 20 to 30ft. away into the kitchen, and my connection stays solid. All in all I am very pleased and have no complaints whatsoever.

I have the wired version of this and thought wireless would be great for the voip calls I occasionally take. The wireless version is great for listening to music but over voip, it's choppy. My voice and the other persons voice are choppy. Sound like we're computers taking and missing words. I have a fully decked out computer so maybe it's my voip software, or maybe it's just a bad product. I'll leave you to determine that.However, I'm returning it, because it doesn't work as advertised and buying 2 wired models in replacement. I hate when a company produces a bad product and people give it great reviews.

Plantronics .Audio 995 Wireless Stereo Headset---------------------------------------------------------First off, I should say that I am not a big techno wonk, and my computer and audio needs are modest -- I use iTunes at home and heard about these headphones and thought it would be fun to be able to hear my files without having to be tethered to the computer. They work well -- the sound is good and the set-up is practically instantaneous, just charge it up, plug in the attachments and turn on the sound. I haven't encountered any problems at all -- my 1920s-era apartment does have some weirdly dense, hard walls and there is one room that gets bad reception, but I have the problem taking my laptop into that room and using the wireless port, so these 'phones don't seem any less effective. All in all, I'd say this is a very good product -- inexpensive, innovative and easy to use. (Joe)

The wireless concept is cool, but awkward. It does not work with a bluetooth computer without a rendundant USB Bluetooth stick. Also, the electronic connection is not nearly as effective as a mechanical connection. Specifically, when you plug in a mechanical cord, the sound goes to the headset and not the computer speakers. With this product, there is not typically either an easy or a clean switching from the speakers to the headset. Multiple attempts, settings changes, and sometimes reboots can be required to effectively make the sound connection.

The headset works great, with decent range. The Battery Life is around 8hrs but it only take a few to charge so perfect for someone whosnt on the computer a lot, not for a heavy gamer. Very comfortable, and worth the Play/Pause and Volume buttons this works great with programs. Overall Great Heasdset for the price.

Amazing device. Since I bought it I do my workouts and yoga with the nice audio background from Pandora and Rhapsody. No cords attached!Battery life and distance range claimed are true: .995 reaches through three walls to my kitchen with my netbook being in the living room.Plug&play dongle is disappointing. First: it is too big comparing to bluetooth dongles: you risk breaking it by chance. Sometimes you have to restart your software (e.g. Firefox) to hear the sound if you connected the dongle after opening the software. Works well with Ubuntu Linux without any additional drivers. Just change the audio output from the default to .995.

I've reviewed three different headphones for Amazon Vine, including the three-hundered dollar Monster Beats, and this is, by far, the best of the bunch. They're comfy, they have great sound quality and the wireless mode just can't be beat!Now I had hoped to use these for my 360, but no shock they won't work there. That's ok, though, cause without even reading the manual I was easily able to get them up and working on my PC. All I had to do was charge them up, plug into the USB device, turn them on and I was good to go!What's the sound quality like? Well, it's good enough that when I was listening to a couple different songs, I was able to hear instruments I haven't heard in them before, and that includes the time I was using the Monster Beats.I don't know what the battery life in these is like, as I haven't used them much yet, but so far so good!Needless to say, since it uses a USB port to communicate with your computer, it's not something you can carry on the go with your MP3 player. Otherwise, quite nifty!

I HAD THIS HEADSET FOR ABOUT A MONTH NOW AND IT WORKS PRETTY WELL. USE IT WITH MY SKPE FAMLIY AND FRIENDS. THEY HAVE A GOOD CLEAR SOUND AND THE MIC PICKS UP REALLY WELL. THE ONLY THING I HAVE NOTICED SO FAR, IS THAT IF I HAVE IT ON FOR A LENGTH OF TIME, I HAVE TO GIVE MY EARS A REST(TEND TO HURT SOME BUT NOTHING MAJOR). IT COULD BE THAT I DON'T HAVE THEM SET RIGHT. I AM STILL WORKING TO CORRECT THAT. EVEN WITH THE LITTLE THING, I BELIEVE I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND GLAD I BROUGHT THEM. LOVE THE WIRELESS!!

This is THE WAY to go! I'm super pleased with these headsets. The wireless aspect connected flawlessly! The fact that while recording Camtasia I don't have the cord hitting something creating ambient noise is just great!The noise reduction in the mic is superb. I'm very pleased with this headset and LOVE that its wireless. The charge holds a long time too!!! A really "good" feature! High quality at a very reasonable price! All the way around- this headset is the one to use!

At first glance I really hated these. They are huge, clunky, and the first go round had choppy audio. I felt straight disappointed. but after a couple days gave them a second chance, and realized how awesome this product is. Great for VOIP or just for watching movies. I live in close quarters with roomies and these things make bass and explosions sound loud enough to make me turn it lower.I am very pleased with its purformance. though it has no style points, the headset is awesome!

Bought this heaset two months ago from Amazon and have been very pleased with the call quality and the comfort of the headphones. Battery life is great since I've been on conference calls using VOIP for 5 hrs straight and have not had any issues. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless heaset that's inexpensive compared to the other models available in the market.

that is a beautiful product but not for telephony on a pc. the sound is great, but it is not light enough for consistent use on Skype, or even the occasional phone call of any duration. That was my purpose.

This headset is probably the best i had so far. Having the freedom to walk around and talk or listen to music is awesome. It is extremely easy to setup , you just plug in the usb transmitter and your done. The sound quality is pretty good and its perfect for VOIP. I bought myself one and fell in love with it. Then i bought one for my parents and one for my brother, We all use them daily now. Can't live without it.

These work fine if you're in line of sight with the usb dongle. Unfortunately my wireless keyboard takes it on the chin whenever I'm using them. So, reluctantly, I'm returning them.

I was very excited to get this headset thinking that I would be able to use it to video chat but there turned out to be a significant downside to that as whenever I plugged in the usb key to connect the headset to my laptop, I would lose my internet connection. Sound quality was good, too bad it didn't work out for me.
