Overall, a great micro drive with the best USB reader I've seen; but I do have two wishes. They may be small wishes (not involved with the operational aspects of the micro drive), they would help with the day-to-day usefulness.I bought this 8G micro flash drive for my new phone. I've used the USB drive to download music to it and then played the music on my phone. I've also loaded photos and songs with it installed in my phone using the USB cable that comes with the phone. Both work very well.I will say that it is small as all micro flash drives are. The small lip on the end is all that makes it possible to get it into the slot in my phone and back out (see my wish below). Likewise, the USB reader takes nibble fingers but that's the nature of using a micro drive. I actually like the small USB drive because it makes it easy to carry it around in my book bag.I wish two things:The cover slides off and is held in place by the ring on the end of a string. It will still work if the string breaks and the cover gets lost, but this could be designed a little better - even a more sturdy string would help. My other wish is that the lip on the end of the micro were a little easier to grab with your fingernail; it feels a little to round.

I bought two of the Kingston 8GB Class 6 cards. Both cards were manufactured in Taiwan. Both of the cards will not fit properly into the SD slot of my Canon Rebel XSi. When you put the card into the slot, the slot's springs do not engage. In order to get the card out of the slot you have to pull it out instead of pushing the card in to release the springs. I have a Kingston Micro SDHC card with an SD adapter and I have no problem at all using it in my Canon camera. I will return the cards and get a different brand.

I bought this for my CycloDS. I didn't need all the adapters, but bought this to get my total over $25 for free shipping :)I rand DiskBench and I got RIDICULOUS speeds. I mean insanely fast. As a class 4 it should get at least 4mb/s write. Well, I ran two tests (transferring a 600mb CD ISO file) and got 7.7 and 8.4mb/s for write speed. Then I ran two reading tests and got 19.9 and 23.1 mb/s !!A side note: I recently purchased a Nokia E71 smartphone. Everyone raves about the SanDisk class 4 microSD cards, so I purchased an 8gb. For write speeds on that I get about 6.2 mb/s and 24 mb/s read. I also purchased a transcend class 6 8gb, but it doesn't perform as well as these other cards.I haven't owned this Kingston as long, but I would definitely recommend this. It has VERY good transfer speed and a ton of adapters. A lot of people say the USB adapter seems useful. It's very small and I can see why people would be worried removing their card. I'm used to the CycloDS so I know how to bet careful.I'll have to reconsider using this with my CycloDS because of the great speeds...I might have to use this as a backup card for my phone!

This card will allow me to take photos and I can see them on the camera, but neither my iMac nor my PC will read the card, so to transfer the photos to the computer I have to use the USB cord to connect the camera to the computer. Major PIA. Not worth the money.

This seemed like a good idea at the time, however, both of our cameras were too old, and this didn't fit. My granddaughters' new camera, however, does use the MicroSD card, so we'll send it to her later. Check your camera or device first, before buying this, because you can't return an opened package! A little homework first, and you'll find the right fit!

First off, the chip itself is a Class 4 which is slower (hard to tell how much) than the Sandisk product.The USB reader is remarkably slow compared to the same chip in the Sandisk reader. This is the sandisk product I am comparing to: SanDisk SDSDQY-8192-A11M 8GB Mobile Ultra Micro SDHC Card (Black) (this is corrected from original review)That said, the SD to MicroSD reader worked to read and write the 8gb chip with my SD (2GB) slot. That is cool and is the reason I am keeping the setup.I will order another of the sandisk units just to have another high speed reader.Oh yeah, the kingston reader got VERY hot compared to the Sandisk, but this may just be a factor of exposed metal v. plastic casing . I was tempted to put a heatsink on it until I tested the sandisk and found out it was 4 to 10 times faster. I will just keep the kingston reader as a backup.

The Kingston brand is well known and they have come up with another great product. I had no problem fitting the micro SD card into it's SD card adapter. All fits well and it's user obvious. I can remember when a "floppy disk" was the size of a ten inch record. Two GB of memory space on a device that fits on my fingertip is still astounding to me.

Kingston has a very good top of mind. They have done a good job at that for more than 20 years. Top of mind is one thing, deliver quality is another thing.The price I paid was 1/2 of the average of other media. I still bought Kingston, despite of the internal voice telling me that the price was too good to be true. I was carful not to fall into the cheep price but expensive S&H. I found out that the avergage price of Kingston Memory was about the same for all sellers. My internal voice was right: "If it is too good to be true it probably is..."Use your good judgement.

crap...constantly get file read erros.. ive lossed dozens of pictures or couldnt take a video because it would crap out and then freeze my camera... my cam works great with other memory card.

Great way to move photos and music between phone and computer. Works great with my ENV2 phone. Have find the USB adapter sturdy and convenient on my key chain. Memory upload and download seems quick and stable. Can't beat the price!

These micro sd cards were one of the best purchases I ever made. They were recognized quickly on all my electronic devices and the cards are not sensitive. Plenty of room for most users and the price was unbelieveable! I only wish this twin pack came in a 4GB pieces for more photos, music, pictures, files, videos, etc!

This product is what I've needed, it's a 4gb pendrive, and a memory for my cellphone, and with the adapter also it is a memory for my GPS. 3 in one for this price. Not BAD!. Also as pendrive is very portable and useful.

Probably I got the bad one, but this thing broke down twice already, with all my vacation pictures in it, twice gone. Money is not the issue here. But there is no way I can get back those vacation pictures again. Before I used the card I already formatted it with my digital camera so compatibility should not be any issue at all. THe first time it broke down, both my computers cannot recognize it so I ended up has to reformat the card again. The second time it cant be recognized at all leaving the card useless and all the pictures in it unreachable. Save yourself and buy better card. You dont wanna end up losing your pictures just for the sake of this cheapo card. I am warning you, dont be like me, lesson learned the hard way..

I bought this card a few months ago for my Casio Exlim Z55 camera. The price was attractive for a 2GB card and it came with a card reader. Like other reviewers, the card was fine in the beginning. However, the card is now corrupt and I have lost some precious memories of my baby captured since February 2007.Recently, we took a lot of photos and some videos during a family vacation in Hawaii. After taking a photo of my 1 year old son, my camera suddenly returned an error saying that it was unable to display the image. After that, whenever I tried to take a new photo, my camera would capture the photo, flash the photo in the display for a split second, and then return the same error. I was only slightly concerned at the time because I was still able to review previous photos and videos I had taken. I waited until I got home to troubleshoot.When I got home, I was able to read the SD card in my macbook ONCE. When I tried to read it a second time, it could not recognize the card. I then tried to read it on my Windows PC. I was unable to see my photos or videos. I ran a couple of DOS commands and saw that the card had 500MB occupied on it, so I suspected my photos were still in there somewhere. I quickly googled for cardrecovery software. (I purchased something from www.cardrecovery.com for about $40. It scans your card and then allows you to preview the photos before you purchase the software. However, you cannot preview videos.) Luckily, I was able to recover most, if not all of my photos. I was not as lucky with the videos as they were all cut short. I was only able to recover incomplete footage. It wasn't until I ran the software that I realized I was missing more files than I knew about. When I first turned on my camera in Hawaii, my photos went back to May. Turns out I was missing over 100 images dating back to February! There were videos of my son when he was learning how to crawl. The sad part is I was only able to recover much shorter versions of the videos, but it is better than nothing. Also, I was able to recover a lot of photos.At this point, I have not formatted my card. I am waiting to call Kingston Tech Support to see what they'll say. I originally emailed them from the Kingston website and received this response:"For a replacement and data recovery contact tech support by phone at 800-435-0640, M-F, 6am-6pm PST and ask for level 2."I am hoping that somehow they can help me recover my videos completely. Before Kingston, all I used were SD cards from SanDisk (1GB and smaller), which I never had problems with. I don't think I will ever buy Kingston again.

This is a great kit at a great price. I needed a mini sd card for my phone. I almost purchased one but decided to purchase a micro sd with a few adapter kits. I noticed more devices are either sd or micro sd. My phone for some reason uses mini sd. If I were to purchase the mini sd and had gotten rid of my phone then I would be stuck with a mini sd. This way I have a micro sd that I can use on other devices and still have the adapters to use in other devices.

This SD card reader is the tiniest I've seen, to the point where some people have asked what it is. It works perfectly, comes with an attachment for my key ring, and I couldn't be happier.Great little thing.**UPDATE**After having this on my keychain for 3 weeks (it comes with a keychain loop) with the usual wear you'd expect for keys, it broke and is no longer recognized by my computer.

The card has worked flawlessly thus far. I don't know how much more there really is to say about it. This is a standard microSD card, and as such will work in just about any microSD device, unlike the microSDHC cards, which I had initially bought.

I agree with the masses on this one; really convenient with the adapters (SD and mini SD), a whole lotta storage in a tiny little package. Works great for my use - shuttle memory from/to cell phone (Samsung Flipshot) to/from laptop. Stores 100's of 3MP pix and music and video. The USB thumb drive does require a little micro-dexterity (ie; small fingers or, in my case strong fingernails) but that's not a problem a cave man couldn't work out.So, if you have a device that uses micro SD memory cards, this package is perfect. Plus Kingston is a reliable, inovative company.

Not so thrilled with this. Worked great for about a week, then suddenly my Blackberry Curve failed to recognize the card as being formattted. I pulled it out, dropped it in the USB reader, and while my desktop PC recognized the USB device, it did not recognize that a card was in the device. Wasted $$.

I got a really good price on this combo package, but I was hesitant to buy it, because I was confused as to whether or not a 4GB memory card was included with this package. IT IS! The teensy tiny card (micro) is the 4GB SDHC card. Use the card alone in a 'micro' compatible product, or use the included adapters to convert the card to 'mini' or 'standard' SD sizes.The included USB adapter is lovely and comes with the small lanyard for attaching to a keyring. The USB adapter slides out of the protective sleeve, to hook into your USB port. Everything comes in a hard plastic storage case, to protect your cards and adapters (except the USB adapter, of course). It all seems to be high quality and I have no complaints as of yet! Works great with my Canon Powershot A590IS.

My chief complaint with this reader is that it will only read the micro SD cards. I was hoping for a card reader that would work with my other SD cards that are of varying sizes. Other than that, works great!

Good value. Not my case, but I happen to know people who tried this memory card on a standard point and shoot, beware, it is SDHC, it will not work in every SD device! Works like a charm on my Nikon DSLR

Like usual with memory, the prices seem to have gone down even more the second I made my purchase. With that said, these memory cards do come in handy. My favorite part is the USB adapter that comes included. I've bought these in several capacities and from several vendors and don't think I have used the Micro to Mini adapter (and since I have more than one, the Micro to full size SD card adapter, so you might want to consider a similar model that only includes the USB adapter (or no adapter at all if you already have one lying around).Keep in mind it is SDHC, so not all electronics will be able to use it (and some older items that do take SDHC cards are not set up to take a 4GB card either).

Kingston 8 GB is huuuge and so fast that can shoot my Canon EOS XS (12GB) so continuos and rapidly that space is not a problem. I haven't experienced yet how is to stay out of space using best fine pics setting. Great price and value. Very happy with my purchase.

The USB adapter only accepts the micro card, and not the SD card or a XD card, that I thought it would when I purchased. Still a good price for the micro card, although it makes more sense to have an USB adapter that fits the SD card so you can have an adapter for other SD or XD cards you may have. Especially an issue for people with Macs that don't have card readers. I still need to buy a USB SD/XD adapter. I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone.Also, shipping took about a week longer than I think it should have, although it was over Christmas so I'd give a pass.

I bought this kit for the microSD card included to use in my cell phone. It arrived and I learned that most cell phones can ony recognize 2GB cards. So I retired my trusty but aged 512MB thumb drive. It is a bit on the "too small I might loose it" size and there is no protective cap for the USB end. I'd rather have something to keep dirt and lint out of the connection parts.Aside from that it works flawlessly...but now I wish I'd have just ordered the 8GB version for a few bucks more.

This set is really nice to have. The micro SD works in my phone and the adapters allow it to be used with anything that takes an SD or Mini SD card. The USB adapter also allows the easy transfer of files to computer.

I needed a larger micro SD card for my phone. This is literally the best choice I could find, for any price (paid < $19). I would recommend it whether you need a regular SD, Mini, Micro, or the USB.I've owned a variety of Kingston cards for years and they have always worked.One con is the usb feels flimsy (because it slides out and flips open to insert the Micro card), but it has worked perfectly so far.

I bought the Kingston 2GB micro SD card for multiple purposes. It comes with the mini and regular SD adapters which makes this micro card twice as versatile. I have several Kingston cards and they all have been very reliable. I use it in my MP3 player to hold extra songs, I then can use the mini adapter to listen to those songs on my cell phone, and then I can use the standard SD adapter to listen to the songs on my GPS player. I would highly recommend buying this model that comes with the 2 adaptors even though you may only need it for the micro size, because with the 2 adapters you can easily use it in way more electronics than you can think of.

Not all memory cards are equal. Kingston is a name you can trust in the world of memory. I use this card in a digital picture frame and in my wife's camera. Works great. Have had no issues with it.Although I have not seen one anywhere for $23.00 (the current list price), I usually see them in stores for $12-15. So Amazons price is an amazing deal. Of course prices are subject to change.

since this was cheaper than the sandisk, and includes free shipping. i chose this micro sd card. the many opions that it comes with, is that you can literally select any of the adapters it comes with.now with that in mind, the usb adapter is kind of sticky,it is solidly locked in place when inserted and is kind of hard to pull out, when you are done adding stuff to the micdo sd card. overall the adapter options is great. but the usb adapter may need a tune up, likea push and release button, something of that sort.
