Bought it for recording FullHD videos on a Kodak Playfull cam. It works, data is recorded without skipping a frame in FullHd even when the visual is full of movement (because of heavy cam movement/shakes). Data transfer to my computer is a little slow (4 megabytes / sec), but I just don't care. Some day I may check if it goes faster with a card reader - it probably does (so I could copy an average clip in 5 minutes instead of 10, so what?)Update:- once I got a "memory card too slow" message in cold weather with a nearly full memory card- tried transfer via card reader - it was fast (15-20 MB/s or so)

Shooting 12bit RAW on my Nikon D300s on continuous high speed:This seemed like a great card for a great price. Used it for a few months and was in the middle of an important shoot just recently and after about 900 shots (with about 5 months of perfect operation and no problems at all) the camera shows me an error message "cha" meaning change the card. I hit the play button on my camera to view images and it came up with "memory card not readable" or something similar to that. It had been working perfectly until that point and I was unable to shoot the rest of the evening and feared the worst that I would not be able to retrieve any of my images from before that point. Luckily I was able to put the card in my sd slot on my mac and it began to work again. However, I put the card back in my camera and received the same error message. After leaving the camera and card sit overnight I powered it up the next day and it's working fine again.I will not trust this card for a wedding shoot and highly discourage anyone from using this for professional or semi-pro use. If it's just for leisure then no big deal but there is still that risk of losing your images.

Having the extra "head-room" for the extra storage space of 16GB will surely come in handy.The obvious big advantage here is the write speed on sequential shots. On other cards, there seems to be a delay in the final write to the card. However, that photos will buffer. On this card, the buffer is almost not noticeable.When I'm doing sports photography, that will probably come in handy. Otherwise, at this price point, and for the extra capacity, it is worth it.When I initially stuck the card in my camera, it wasn't recognized. However, I switched the "read-only tab" to be locked. Reinserted the card. Then switched it back, and reinserted it again, and then the camera could start taking picture.Overall, I would recommend.

I would rate this 0 stars if possible. It would not allow my camera to write video or 18 MB pictures consecutively so I lost lots of photos. This card is the equivalent of taking film pictures with the back of the camera open.

I use my blackberry curve 9300 for almost everything. It doubles as my phone and media centre cosole. My job requires I travel a lot and between the music and videos I upload for my travels, I quickly ran through the 4gig, 8gb and 16gb micro sd cards.I came across reviews about using a 4speed microSD card as the new 10speed microSD cards are all the rave. But common sense prevailed. I'm not trying to save the world ala cowboys and aliens. The 4speed microSD card is more practical and cheaper choice for what I intend to use it for. The card now in its 4th week works just fine and the speed it operates on is fine with me.Saves me the trouble of walking around with an mp3 player, a usb media stick, tablets and dvds. A one stop shop if you ask me. I definetely recommend this product.

I have used this card twice and have errors twice when trying to transfer photos taken with my DSLR. This is the only memory card I have ever had problems with, and I have quite a few (even other Kingston brand ones) that have never given me any trouble whatsoever. Since 30 days have passed, I can't return it to Amazon so I have contacted Kingston and am waiting to hear back...** update **Kingston was very responsive and was ready to let me exchange it for the same product, but I have not had issues with it since so I have decided not to return it. Strange, but true.

This card just died at the beginning of an important family event. Also, lost about an hour of recorded content with it. First time used Kingston SD card for my camera, and I don't think going back to Kingston again for critical storage.

This SD card was for use in my Kodak 5X 15 camera, as I wanted something with more memory space than the 4GB one that came with the camera. My camera initially didn't seem to want to respond to the card, and even now it seems to make image capturing more sluggish. Video capture is decent though.I also wish this card would have come with a protective case, as I wanted to switch between it and my old SD card for different occasions.Truth be told though I may just stick with my original SD card, as I can't understand why this card makes photo capturing so sluggish. Having said that perhaps it's not the card, perhaps it's my camera, as it is about a year old.

If you have a PC, it may not be an issue, but if you have a MAC, find a better option if you need the USB dongle. I was able to get mine working by using the USB adapter that came with my wife's brothers handheld Nintendo. The flash memory itself works as expected.

It's probably my fault for not testing the card before I took it on vacation, but I've never had issues with other class 10 cards (adata, transcend, sandisk). I have other kingston cards but they're used in cell phones and don't require speed. I decided to try this one because it was on sale, and what a mistake. It's no faster than 3.5 mb/s, and on my Nikon D7000, it is so slow!!! I took the card and camera on vacation and missed plenty of good shots because of it. My backup card is only 4gb and filled up quickly so I was left with this slow POS.

I was going to purchase a 32 GB card for backing up some work video footage I edit, but the price point on the 16 GB made it a more attractive option for now. I have had no problems with the card so far (knock on wood!) and it does what it's supposed to do.

I got this because I love the brand and this time again don't fail me. I use ckflash to measure the speed and I got the 10 mbps writing and 19 mbps reading. so maybe somebody get a bad copy or I was really lucky but mine works flawless and quicker than others that I have. sadly sandisk looks like is working at better speeds (and of course higher prices), but this one delivers what offers.
