8gb of space is plenty and as many cell phones and my new gps for example use the mini sd cards so its great to be able to use that as well as having any add on piece i could want. for example the usb one, its fantastic, i put the mini sd card into the usb drive add on and then plug it into the car, it reads fast and works well. no problems so far. i have used it with the sd add on as well and worked like a charm. i don't think it will die anytime soon, at least i hope not! so far so good. i would definitely recommend this.

I love the adapters and the usb plug in, however they feel kind of flimsy in my hands. There is this one panel that is very thin, and I think could break. Not for those with dexterity issues.However, for 25 bucks its definately worth it- 8gb.

Over the last couple of months I've order two of these. The first came with the storage case shown in the customer picture, very cool, however the second had no storage case. If you need the case, you might want to consider buying locally. Amazon should consider, in the interest of customer service, a separate listing for the caseless version so customers know exactly what they will or will not get. No complaints about Kingston's cards, however. Great product!

Item is exactly as specified and definitely worth the costs. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the Kingston brand of memory. If there is ever a problem with it, they replace it without any fanfare. Great price. Delivered quickly. 100% satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased this, along with the SanDisk 2gb card for two pre-paid mobile phones that needed microSD to store music. It works great. No troubles yet! The company that sold the phone recommended the Sandisk over other microSD cards, but I haven't noticed a difference between this one and the Sandisk.Note: On first install, the PC didn't read the card. I took off the back of the phone, removed and replaced the card to see if it was just a placement issue, and tried again. Worked like a champ.

I bought one Kingston 8 GB class 6 SDHC Card to try. I shoot with a Pentax K20d and the card works well, no problems. I plan to buy 3 or 4 more. I have had very good "luck" with Kingston and plan to keep using them and Amazon.

Received this item from bigfootaccessories as a gift. The card had been reprogrammed to report its capacity as 16GB, when it is in fact an 8GB card. Windows reports the card as having a capacity of 16GB, but it will only hold 8GB. Once more than 8GB is added to the card, some files are corrupted and overwritten. This is a common, well-documented issue, so bigfootaccessories should be aware of this. This seller is selling illegal cards.

Used for my Eee PC 900a. Use it as second 'hard drive'. because the solid state hard drive came with the computer is only 4GB. Can't really tell the difference in speed between the SSH and this memory card. That' how fast it is at class 6, coupled with Kingston's reliability. Kingston is the King of memory. Very happy that I bought it.

I've been massively using this microSDHC 16Gb card in the last 2 months in a BB8900 and it works just the way it should. The Class 2 speed is perfectly acceptable, it takes less than 1 sec to save a ~1Mb sized picture taken with the BB. The adapter works well too. I'm pretty satisfied with the product.

I bought this card for my canon T1i DSLR, I was told I needed a class 6 card to record video. The card was sooo slow to write to the disk that it stopped recording after about 30 seconds of video-this card is a piece of JUNK!!!! I don't know how they pull off calling this a class 6 card when it is so slow. After reading other reviews on here I won't even bother contacting Kingston for a replacement, I'm sure I will get the same thing in return. I now use a Transcend brand which is 100 times better and cheaper!!!!!!!! I can now record videos continously.

ZERO problems in my Nikon D90 since October 2008, with over 11,000 photos taken to date, not to mention gigabytes of HD video transferred via card reader. Truly impressed with the reliability. Definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this to use with my panasonic Lumix. It frequently looses pictures and gets locked up, requiring cycling power to camera. I us other brand cards such as fuji and do not have any issue with the same camera.Buyer Beware

Kingston has quickly become my least favorite brand of flash memory. Back when digital cameras were new, Kingston was a name I could trust for compatibility and customer service. I have used nothing else in my digital SLR, point 'n shoot, and digital video camera. Early in 2008 I purchased five Kingston sdhc cards. I ran an exhaustive memory test which of course passed. They worked fine in my Pentax K20 digital camera. Later in 2008 I purchased another five Kingston sdhc cards of the identical type. My memory test ran fine. But, when I used them in my camera I was only able to shoot about 5 to 10 photos before the camera reported memory read and write errors on all 5 cards. Switching back to the older batch of memory worked fine.I emailed Kingston for advice. They chose not to respond. So, I opened an RMA to return the five bad cards. I received a prompt automated email response and I sent the last 5 sdhc cards back. They sent me another five sdhc cards from the SAME LOT. Surprise, they did not work either. This time, I faxed them a letter to advise them of a bad lot of memory, gave them the lot number, and asked if they could help me with my problem. Again, Kingston failed to respond.I would rather throw these bad memory cards into the trash and loose money rather than let Kingston sell them to another unsuspecting consumer. Something happened at Kingston between Spring of 2008 and Fall of 2008. My guess is they switched their manufacturing process for the worse. Their customer service used to respond to emails but no longer. A lifetime warranty does no good if they only swap your bad memory with more bad memory.

Having multiple personal data devices from Cell Phones using the Micro SD format, MP3 Players and cameras using the Mini and full-size SD format, and a new HD Camcorder using the Full size SDHC format, I was looking for a solution that could handle all three formats. This does that nearly perfectly. Would have been perfect if the USB MicroSDHC reader could read the larger Mini and Full size SD formats but that's a minor issue. What you get is a small carrying case for the 8GB Micro SDHC Class 4 chip that also carries the included separate adapters to read that chip in either Full Size SDHC or Mini SDHC or USB 2.0 format. The USB adapter doesn't fit in the included case and doesn't have a cover for the USB port itself but does have a cover for the Micro SDHC Chip. I'd recommend checking for lint/dirt regularly in the USB socket if you're going to attach the USB reader to something you carry in a pocket via the included and assembled short attachment string with ring for a keychain. The string is about 4cm in length. The attachment ring has an approximate 7mm inside diameter and is a typical keychain 2 turn coil of spring wire so it can be attached like a normal keyfob device or perhaps to the carrying strap of a typical Point and Shoot digital camera.The 8GB microSDHC chip, placed in the Full-Size SDHC adapter, works in My Canon HF100 Camcorder.Overall a handy little product at a reasonable price that gives me a lot of versatility in dealing with my family's many portable memory devices.

First off, let me say this product works as described, having 16GB worth of storage is great, I put my entire unprotected music library on it (Amazon MP3s and iTunes Plus AACs without DRM) so that I could use it on my Blackberry Bold cellphone and skip the iPhone. Music and video stream just fine off of it. Class 2 SDHC cards run at minimum 2MB/s and I doubt you'll run into any instances where you won't be able to play media files off it.Make sure your cell phone device can support 16GB micro SDHC cards before buying, some can't. Most card readers should be able to handle it as it comes with an SD adapter and I had no problem writing to it with my old Sony multi-card reader I got a couple years ago.That being said, Class 2 is slower than I'd prefer for transferring large files back and forth (for small files like documents you'll hardly notice). If they had a Class 4 16GB available I would have paid a little extra for it, but Class 2 was the only thing available. If you plan on just copying over music once in a while, this shouldn't be much of an issue. But if you are constantly moving video files, it can get annoying.If I could go back, I'd get a Kingston 8GB Class 4 (4MB/s) micro SDHC for half the price and half the wait, at least until they release a faster 16GB card.

Have had this card in my phones for a while. It seems to work pretty good. Hasn't failed or anything. Its kind of hard to put the card into and out of the reader...but thats about it.

so far, so good, after a couple of weeks, and two fillings of images. i have noticed no lag in image processing or shot-to-shot times, or any glitches in image retrieval, as i Have had with a couple of Sandisk cards, in my Nikon D90.***Update***Still performing without problems.

Got one and it was working fine until after a couple of weeks it failed to respond. Tried reformatting but the picture from the Camera became corrupt and unusable. Computer could not read or format it and it ended up in the trash bin.

This is a MUST HAVE if you are a tech junky or if you just need a quick, massive, diverse and reliable data storage. Just insert the Micro DS in the "Mini" jacket, or the "Standard" DS jacket, or the Flash (Pen) drive case, and you are free to use 8Gb of storage in a Cell phone, a laptop, a notebook and a desktop. JUST TOTAL FREEDOM everywhere you are.

I have previously purchased Kingston mobility kits and was extremely pleased with them but this years USB interface didn't work. Which was a real disappointment because it was what drew me back for another purchase at the slightly higher price of the mobility kit.

Why spend more on 8GB Kingston Flash Memory Cards when you can save more than 50% at Amazon Market Place? You take digital pictures, load your pictures from the memory cards into your computer, erase the images from your memory cards, use the fresh memory cards with your camera again. In fact, you recycled the memory cards which became merely a vehicle to load and dump the pictures. Whether an expensive new one or a cheap used one does not make a difference.

First as always, I tested the card with H2testw to make sure the card had the capacity advertised. I have discovered more often than not that SDHC cards purchased on eBay tended to be bogus. That is, they were 2 or 4 GB cards that had been hacked to appear as 8 GB. But when information is written and verified by H2testw, certain sectors with information are overwritten because the sectors overlap in order to seem bigger than they are, thus the write verification fails. But not the Kingston I purchased from Amazon.Not only did the Kingston pass with flying colors, but the read-write speed really impressed me. Of course, you need a fast card reader-writer and USB 2.0 to get an accurate reading of the speed.The next crucial test was when I inserted the card in my 12 MP Nikon P90. I found the time the picture took to be written to the card was nearly nil. I didn't have to worry about my camera memory buffer overfilling when I took several quick shot in succession.Amazon had a good buy on this card and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a class 6 SDHC 8 GB card.

Great card! Not super fast, but extremely small and reliable. I use it in my Canon video camera to take pictures when my point and shoot isn't easily available. I have used the adpaters and they work great as well. High quality and good build. I would definitely buy again.

This item works perfectly, I use the card for my camera and it allows me to easily transfer my pictures without having to plug my camera into the computer. It's also nice because I can use the card as a memory stick that I can put files on. MicroSD is the future, and this product is cheap and effective.

I am very happy with this product. I don't have much use for all of the adapters. I bought this for my new Virgin Mobile Kyocera XTC mobile phone and am glad to say it works perfectly with it. I was a little worried after reading other warnings on how some phones can't detect more than 2GB cards but luckily my phone is a newer one.It took me a bit to figure out how to get it to work and unfortunately i couldn't get my computer to recognize the larger SD adapter card but that might be due to my computer being a bit old. All in all I'm happy with this product. I'm thinking of trying the 8gb version next.
