For anyone looking to upgrade their SD card and is worried about purchasing from online shops, I would highly reccommend this card. After reading about fake cards being silkscreened with Kingston markings and sold all over amazon and eBay, I decided to go straight through amazon.com and I'm glad I did. I ordered on Monday morning and the package arrived at 11am the next day with amazon prime. The card came in original Kingston SEALED cardboard packaging (not in a loose plastic clamshell), had the correct serial code and authentic markings, and had noticeable increase in speed over the 8gb class 2 sandisk that came stock with my mytouch 3g. Don't risk buying from another source to save a couple bucks, i know of several ppl who bought from komputerbay and received fake kingston cards that turned out to be class 2 and stopped working after 2gb!

SD card arrived as promised in good condition. The SD card worked flawlessly in my digital camera. Determined it was faster in terms of recovery time per picture taken but did not do any scientific process to provide hard evidence. I would buy this again but only when it is priced at the Lightning deals only.

This card is a good value for the price. The amount of storage space is the real value though, as the transfer speed is not that impressive. The Kingston 16GB Class-4 MicroSD card is a perfectly acceptable card for use in a cell phone or other device, and its attractive price point makes it a good deal.

I bought this to stick in my Samsung Focus WP7 Phone. I've been running for over 2 weeks and:* I've noticed significantly less responsive UI from time to time* My phone did a factory reset on its own while charging one night (this was completely fixed by turning off the phone, ejecting the microSD card, putting it back in, and turning the phone back on).I'm leaving the card in the phone because the extra capacity is worth it as I make use of and adore my Zune Pass. The UI responsiveness is acceptable but annoying. I will be upgrading to any officially certified cards the second they come out, but am not holding my breath.

Much like Scott's, my little Kingston 16GB micro-SDHC simply stopped working not long after I could no longer return it to Amazon.I tried it in various adapters and in different PCs with different SD readers and it failed in each of them, including an MP3 player.Fortunately (I hope), I can still RMA it with Kingston under warranty.

I don't think there's a whole lot to say about this SD card. It's got plenty of space, affordable, comes with adapters for other SD card sizes, and comes in retail packaging so you don't have to worry about imitations and fakes that seem to be more prevalent online. It's not the fastest card out there, but it's perfectly suited for extra storage on your phone or tablet for media. It does exactly what I need it to do for my Android tablet at a good price; what more can you ask for?

Read speed is alright, but this card only writes at 160 Kb/sec, consistent across an iMac, a Macbook Air 11 inch and a Sony Vaio FW590. If you buy, be sure to keep the packaging.Update: I tried several methods of formatting this card, including the one made specifically for formatting SD cards, but could not make it useful. If I put it in my Nexus One, the phone will freeze. Switching back to the previous card cures the phone's ills. I think that somehow a second quality card or a ghost run got into the retail market. Does happen.

It just arrived in the mail. Very fast shipping. And it was well packagedI bought this to mainly fix the class 2 problems with recording in 720p on my evo. The class 4 seems to work just fine. I have no way of bench marking read and write speeds. So I can't give any exact numbers on that. It seems to be a little quicker though than the supplied one that came with the evo. One thing I noticed though is after I formatted it there was 14 .9 gb space on the card not 16 or 15.9 and that was before anything was put on it. Not sure why ? Other than that it works great and its exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this .P.s. anyone know what the smaller of the 2 adapters is used for.?

This is a really good deal. If I have something negative to say is that the usb adapter could be better... is so thin that sometimes you can find yourself forcing it the wrong way into the usb port. But if you can get use to this than this is a 5 star product.

That says it all, I guess.My MacBook would never recognize the reader.My camera did recognize the card when I put it in the Micro SD Adapter, but I think I will return it.Thanks to the other commenters, I saved my packaging.

I received this memory card just prior to Christmas and first used it Christmas morning. I have a Sony Camcorder that is but a year old and I have not had any problems with my camcorder. After inserting the memory card and trying to record our kids opening their stockings, the camcorder would lock up with a message that the memory card will not work properly until the resolution is changed. But, I had used this same resolution for all my memory cards. I changed the resolution and it still would not work.So, after spending days e-mailing Kingston with my issue and they agreed my product was defective, I still had to pay to ship it back if I wanted a replacement. That is not good customer service.

I have not run any speed tests of the card or USB reader, but so far everything has worked with no problem. I don't have any devices that take the mini size adapter, so I can't comment on that, but the full size adapter works fine in the EeePC and the USB reader works fine in all computers I've tried both under Windows and Linux.Magic

Bought it to use in my camcorder. Failed on the first use and can't be recognized. Got a replacement and dead again within days. I have lost 10 days of precious recordings. Stay away from this card!.

had to purchase this micro card to replace the one that came with my tmobile galaxy s ...since then ive upgraded to the att htc inspire and it worked/works perfectly well on both devices...u do also receive the adapter as pictured...had no problems uploading pics music and etc to laptop thru the adapter.

There is no frame on this item so its not totally idiot proof, I plugged it in to a USB port backwards a few times and thought it was broken. Way smaller and more portable than most other USB storage devises. The tether is solid and could handle being on a key ring. Up to 32 Gig on my keys, awesome!

This is a great set, especially the USB adapter that can be put on a key chain. I've had no compatibility issues and the speed is acceptable. I've only used it in a couple devices and don't have much to compare the speed against, but it doesn't seem sluggish.

Checked capacity and it was 14.2G. Speed transferring was no more than 2.0MB/sec. That isslower than the Class 2 card I replaced. Skip this one.

I bought this micro sd to replace one I was using in my phone that had encountered some surface damage (from toddler/beach/sand/situation). Luckily I already had a regular sd adapter so I just copied all the data from the old card onto my desktop and popped the new one in and pasted data. No converting needed, and the card was in my phone and up and running with all my photos, kindle books, etc ready to go.I'd say if you already have the sd adapter this is a great buy. If not you may want want to look into a package that includes it as well, if needed.

I like this product and i would give it 5 starsmy only problem was that the sd card reader stoppedworking but this may of been caused by it staying onmy keychain 24/7 so i'm not surebut i was VERY pleased with this products performanceWORKS GREAT :D

So, after using the SD card for little over a month it died. I went to get an RMA from Kingston. A couple days after submitting the request, I was emailed a request to provide all the text on the front and back of the card. After replaying with that information and waiting another day, they then asked me for a photograph of the front and back of the card. Sent. Finally, a week after starting this process I was informed that my card was not a genuine card and not subject to replacement.Not sure where the breakdown is, but this is the item I purchased, right here, so either Kingston support is really screwed up or this seller is doing a bait and switch campaign on Amazon.Good news is the USB reader is great. That still works fine with every micro sd card I throw at it. My next MicroSD will be a sansdisk.

I purchased this based on a list of cards known to work with my Windows Phone 7, a Samsung Focus, to expand the available RAM. There has been some uncertainty, since the cards that will work have to be rated with a certain speed or higher. This one has definitely fit the bill: once I inserted the card and rebooted my phone I was able to re-set it up (unfortunate part of the process, but not the card's fault) and I now have 16GB more RAM to fill up with media. I've had no issues with the phone as a result of using this card (and almost no issues with the phone in general).

I like to help people with their computers. So I have a lot's of software of files that I want to keep it with me. But I don't want to cary a external hard drive or a usb flash drive with me all the time. So this product fits to my need. I can put it in my wallet and go every were. Help people with their computer. No worry that I forgot my usb drive or hard disk, cause I have it with me all the time.
