I bought 2 16GB cards on a sale from Amazon. I usually use Sandisk Extreme, and always wondered if it was worth the money I pay for these things.Well, I installed these in my D7000, and didn't really think anything of them.Normal picture taking is fine, as long as you don't eat into the buffer. I'd say for snap shots, it's fine. Anytime you eat through the buffer, expect your FPS to drop much lower then on a high end card.The most aggravating aspect about this card is during playback. The normal snappy transition between images is horrible with this card. At first, I thought something was wrong with my camera, and after some goofing around, I decided to take 20 Large, Fine JPG images with this card vs. the Sandisk cards that I had and there was a huge difference between playback functionality.I haven't had any reliability issues with the card, but this card is NOT RECOMMNENDED, for any price. There is no way this delivers class 10 performance. Now, these cards just sit in my desk drawer, and I'll probably give them away, or use them in my P&S.

Wanted to see why today's Gold Deal was so poorly rated.Just back from long vacation with 3D video camera which needed 10x cards to keep up with two streams of HD simultaneously. I used a total of (6) PQI 32GB SDHC Class 10 Flash Memory Cards from an online store I trusted (hint, a store with Supermedia in it's name), and they all worked flawlessly in African heat and dust for a month. Also, they cost about 29 bucks, which is a bargain.Just passing on info about what actually worked in the field for me, there are a lot of fakes/underperforming/lower-than-advertised capacity cards out there.

Bought this card for my FZ150. After taking over 400 precious pictures, it just crashed, started getting card write error, after several power off and trying with different cameras, it started to work and to my surprise, half of my pics were gone!!!!I believe the 100Xspeed is not recommended for burst mode on my camera as the write speed cant handle itReturned it and bought sandisk extremeI changed my rating due to Kingston Customer support which is good!But if you plan to use high end cameras with Burst mode..i don't recommendAfter my experience, i realized that a good memory card is life of the camera and not worth the risk buying inferior quality to save a couple bucks, especially since the cards are relatively cheap.

I typically only trust PNY & SanDisk SD Cards for my photos, but this one hasn't disappointed me. I needed a few cards quickly & cheaply, and these ones did the job perfectly.I have never run into any file corruption with these cards.

I have to admit I'm really disappointed in the Kingston brand considering their memory is usually pretty reliable. These cards are definitely not a class 10 card. I have the PNY pro and Transcend 32GB class 10 cards and both of them work as expected. With this one, my Canon T3i is often stuck writing preventing me from taking more photos. I can also confirm it's not a fluke as I have two of these cards and they both have the same slow write issue. I also discovered this during a trip overseas which meant me being unable to grab some really great shots during a moving tour. :(While more costly, the PNY pro and transcend 32GB cards are a way better buy if you plan to capture important memories.

While I have always trusted Kingston products, my experience with their SD HC 16 GB (10)card leaves me disappointed and frustrated. I purchased three of these cards for a trip to China to use with both my Panasonic Lumix camera and a Kodak Zi8 pocket camcorder. On my trip, two of these cards became corrupted and unusable and all photos and movies were lost. Using a proprietary program, I was able to recover data from one of the cards but not the other. Furthermore, the 10 speed rating is unreliable. The video camera would turn off after less than 10 seconds of shooting most probably because the card couldn't keep up with the data input.I'm not one to complain about product performance, but when two of three cards go bad and valuable memories are forever lost, how can one be satisfied? Replacing a defective card(s) does little to resolve the loss pictures from a trip.Bottom line... if you want reliability, consider another manufacturer for your SD-HC card needs.

I bought this SD card back in August 2011 when Amazon had the 1 day Gold Box deal on this card. I have used Kingston cards in the past (up to 2 GB SD cards) and didn't have any problems. I came back from my 12-day European trip a few days ago and found out that 3 pictures and 1 video is corrupted (I took about 1000 pictures/videos). During my trip, I encountered "memory card error" several times on my digital camera and I had to turn my camera off and then on to get it to work. I have tried to fix/recover those pictures/videos but have had no luck. I will not use this card for future vacation trips--I will only use it to playback pics/videos on my digital picture frame because I don't want to go through the frustration of finding out pics/videos I take during vacation might be corrupt. I think I will look for deals on SanDisk Extreme SDHC cards for my next vacation trip...

I had a 16G class 10 Flash card and it works great. I bought this Kingston "Digital 32 GB Flash Memory Card SD10G2/32gb" and expected a comparable speed. It's a big mistake, this class 10 32G memory card is at least 10 time slower than a true class 10 that I am used to. It's deceptive advertisement to say the least.

This particular review is of the 8GB version of the Kingston Mobility kit but some of it is applicable to any of the capacities. If you find this review helpful, please click the "Yes" button at the bottom of the review. :) Thanks for reading!I was looking for a microSDHC card for my new BlackBerry 9700 Bold. My primary usage was to shoot and store video and photos captured from my Blackberry as well as MP3 audio. I also wanted to store various other documents (word, excel, pdf, etc) on it whenever I needed and the Kingston Mobility Kit was the PERFECT SOLUTION.The micro USB reader that is included in this kit was the biggest selling point for me. It's very small and compact compared to carrying a USB flash drive. The reader measures a mere 25mm x 12mm and is only a little over 2mm thick! Most USB flash drives/sticks are substantially bigger than that. This compact size is a blessing since I have it attached to my keychain and I put my keys in my pocket. Even if you didn't need a microSDHC card, this kit would be perfect to use as a tiny USB flash drive! I've encountered many occasions where I needed to copy a file or files from a friend or colleague and simply popped the Kingston microSDHC out of my phone and put it into the micro USB reader. Then I simply plugged the USB reader into the computer (yes, with my keys dangling) and copied the file(s). Then, when I got home, it was just a simple matter of putting the microSDHC card back into the micro USB reader and then into one of my computers (I have both a Windows PC and a Mac) and copying the file(s) onto my computer. BTW, it comes preformatted as a FAT32 partition (in layman's term, it will be able to read/write to Mac, PC, and Linux with this partition type).The microSDHC card itself has worked flawlessly in my phone. I have never had any problems reading or writing from it. And while shooting video with my Blackberry, it's had no problem in keeping up with the demands of read/write speeds when it comes to shooting video (the video is constantly being streamed onto the card and the card's read/write access times have to keep up with the video's real-time read/write needs in order to prevent the device from prematurely stopping the video).If you're in the market for a microSDHC card, don't hesitate to purchase the Kingston Mobility Kit. It's reliable for storing video, photos, MP3, documents, etc. and easily allows you to copy your files to and from different computers (Windows, Mac, Linux) with the included micro USB reader.

I have not benchmarked these cards, but I have used them, right out of the packaging, in three cameras: an Olympus E-P1, Panasonic LX-3, and a new Panasonic G3. I'm very accustomed to all of these cameras, and in each case I have experienced write speeds which seem considerably slower than normal for a Class 10 card. At first I thought it was just my impatience getting the better of me, but when doing some shooting this past weekend they became positively frustrating.I'm a bit relieved to see that other folks are having these same problems. They work, but they're certainly not up to spec in any meaningful sense of the term. I appreciate Kingston taking the time to respond to other negative reviews here, but it's clear that there's something screwy with their suppliers and/or their testing procedures. As it is, these cards are only useful to me as emergency spares, or in other devices, like my Kindle, where consistently fast speeds are not that important.

I bought this card to upgrade my Pentax k-x from the 4 GB class 4 SD card I received when I purchased it. I definitely needed more storage for shooting in RAW but I was also looking for a good speed increase for burst mode, and I was hoping this card could satisfy both of my needs at a modest price. The size is definitely there but the speed is very disappointing. Using multiple disk testers I've only been able to push out ~5 megabytes/second maximum write speed but the average remains much lower, only around 3 megabytes/second. Read speeds usually hover around 7 megabytes/second. The box claims the card is capable of up to a 20 MB/s read and 15 MB/s write but my data comes no where near those numbers and I have no idea how they arrived at them. After reading the terrible reviews of the Kingston 16 GB Class 10 Secure Digital Flash Card SD10/16GB I was hoping that this second generation would have fixed those problems, now I'm just hoping it doesn't corrupt my data.Update: I hoped that I could still use this card on a day-to-day basis and overlook the speed issue, but the slowness of it is noticeable and a reminder that I'm not getting what I paid for. Sending it back for a refund and going to spend a bit more on a much better card.

Just got an new tablet and decided to play Micro SDHC card shuffle between devices. Because this card is rated at Class 4, I put this in my Droid Incredible phone and moved my A-Data Class 6 card from the phone to my new tablet. Used the included USB adaper to move data off my A-Data card to Kingston. Adapter and card worked fine in Droid Incredible phone and Win 7 PC with the included USB adapter. Kingston card speed was not as good as advertised. I was getting less than Class 2 write speeds. The A-Data Class 6 got class 8 write speeds in same adapter and PC. Hmm, if you want a faster card A-Data is fast, compatible, inexpensive, and has worked for a year without issue.However this card will work fine for my Android phone, and the included USB adapter is very tiny making it easy to always have with you. I would probably break it if it were on my keychain, but it is in my backpack if the need to move files or media should arise. I do not have need for the mini and full size SD adapers. I mostly bought this card because of the USB adapter and the price was OK for 16 G. Happy with the purchase, would be happier if it got Class 4 write speeds.

I am normally very easy to be pleased and am mostly happy with my purchases. This card at first seemed a very good buy. I own Kingston Flash Cards and SD cards. They are pretty reliable. However, this product seems to have a problem.It just froze my camera Nikon D5000 during my trip to Niagara Falls (know how precious that trip is). When I hooked it up to my Computer atleast I was able to retrieve my pics. Some other buyers said after they reformatted it on PC the card was fine. Unfortunately, I should have returned this product but though would give it another shot and missed the return deadline with Amazon.Now after reformatting the card after some 50 shots this card again froze on me. Leaving me dry without a backup card and missed some special occasion.So unless you do not mind it freezing on you and you have a back card all the time, do not purchase this card.I hope Kingston is reading my Review. My SanDisk cards never stopped functioning for me.

This card is a MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!! By the time I lost countless video and pics I had passed the window to return it! In the last month EVERY TIME I use it my pc recommends scanning because of errors and corrupted sectors. Letting my cam club know that this Kingston brand is not worth it!!!!! They state a lifetime warranty but sure don't easily offer up the contact information to do such. Next time will stick with my cameras recommended brand of Sans.

Didn't realize how many of these I've bought over the years. This one is on loan to my mother in-law since we took her CF card after the cruise. It works well in her camera and ours. Hopefully it'll make its way back home in the mail soon. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs it. Great quality at a reasonable price.
