Excellent value product. I use it in a Panasonic LUMIX ZS20, with the best results and speed, especially when I download photos to PC. Therefore the Digital 32 GB Kingston Flash Memory Card SD10G2/32gb is by far the best on the market.

I finally have the an SD adapter that works in my Canon HD camcorder! The mini adapter came in a small plastic bag within the shipment, not in the blister pack that contained the Kinston SD adapter and micro SD card. I mention this because I was extremely upset at first when I opened the blister pack and couldn't find the mini card adapter. It was only when I pulled out the invoice to determine if my order was wrong that I noticed the mini adapter still in the padded envelope.

I bought this Kingston memory card because it was an Amazon Gold Box deal and I had been using an 8 GB SanDisk Extreme memory card in my Nikon D90. I thought - great deal on a name brand memory card in the class that my camera could use for general photos. I put it in my camera, formatted it, and started shooting ALL my 10 day vacation photos on it (backing up to a laptop along the way). I had no problems with speed (even got some great photos of Eagles). Around day 6 my camera asked me if I wanted to format the card!? I lost 1 day of photos (photos which I had not backed up). I started using another memory card and hoped that I would be able to recover them. I called Kingston customer service when I returned home because I knew that they sometimes bundled a recovery program with their memory. However, this is not one of those cards and the representative was not at all helpful except in saying that I could return the card under warranty. I downloaded, tested out, then purchased PhotoRescue - after hours of chugging away got all (nearly 600 - only 40 from the non-backed-up day) photos back. I haven't reformatted or retested the memory card yet. I believe I'll be going back to my less memory, but better track record SanDisk Extreme.

I have a Nikon D5000 DSLR camera and take photos primarily as a hobby, although I do use a few for profit on my website. However, I am not a professional photographer and probably take pictures and videos in the way an average person would. In other words, I'm far from an expert and didn't put this card through an intensive battery of tests.I received the Kingston Digital 16 GB Class 10 Flash Memory Card in the mail and started taking photos and videos immediately. The card performed reliably and fairly quickly. I didn't see problems with picture viewing on my camera, but it does seem to transfer files to computer awfully slow. I've been using it for over a month now and have had no issues with reliability. I appreciate the storage capacity (I can shoot high quality jpegs and raw files to my heart's content) that the card offers.I can't speak to the speed issues that others are having because I don't use the card in a way that slowed me down (other than the seemingly slow transfer). For the average, non-professional photographer, this card would probably be more than adequate. I've had no major issues and am satisfied.

I bought this to use in my Canon EOS 1DS, shooting raw to the CF card and JPEG to this card (kind of a backup and for quick availability on site shoots where someone may not have the ability to view raw files. Big problem here, the Kingston card is so slow I can only take 10 pictures, then I have to wait for the camera buffer to clear as it writes to the card. As a comparison, with just the CF card in (A lexar 200x card) I can shoot continuously, no slowdown.I am not expecting there to not be a pause as the buffer fills but this card at 100x should do 15MB sustained writes, when means on a 10 picture buffer at 22MB a pic it should clear the buffer out in about 15-20 seconds. It takes more than a full minute to write the 10 pics to it though.Nearly useless card. I am contacting Kingston in hopes of a replacement as this is a complete waste of money.

This card is WAY too slow. I own a Canon Vixia HFS100. It calls for a class 4 or higher when trying to record at 1080p (17Mbps or 24 Mbps). With a speed class delta of +6, this card seems like it should be more than capable of handling 17-24Mbps writes (roughly 2-3 MBps) . Unfortunately, it wouldn't allow me to record. The fastest speed at which I could record was 12Mbps. I'm gonna try to return this.TL;DR - This card is too slow for 1080p recording (even at the slower 17Mbps). Returning it.

This 16BG card is being used for professional video and photography work on a Cannon 5D. I did no benchmark testing, but this card performed admirably shooting 1080p video, which in my opinion is among the most taxing operation to a memory card. No skipping, no stutters - no problems. For me, the measure of this product is not how it benchmarks, but if it does it's job well. The Kingston 16GB does. There have been some other cards that have been slow and caused issues shooting video. Those few cannot be used for professional work, the Kingston 16GB can. I see other reviews that call out benchmarks and it seems that they have done their due diligence. I can't refute those benchmarks. What I can say is that using this card in a Cannon 5D for photos and video is that I don't have to think about it, it just works. It's best that when you make your living with your equipment, components do their job and you don't need to think about them. My only thought that I'd like to see is to have one side have a writeable surface as other cards do. When you have many cards that look alike, that is a great help.

I first stuck this in my desktop computer, transferred a large file to it, and it worked. But then I downloaded some benchmark software and ran tests on the card. The card is listed as a Class 10 card, meaning it should be able to write at least 10MB/second, if I understand the standard correctly. Here are just a couple of the results I got when the software ran the read/write tests:A 4MB file wrote at 1835 KB/sec and read it at 18,631 KB/sec, or 1.835 MB/sec write and 18.631 MB/s read.A 15MB file came in at 5433 KB/sec write (only 5.433 MB/sec) and 18,667 KB/sec read (or 18.667 MB/sec).So if I understand the benchmark testing and standards correctly, this card is writing data at a speed of 50% or less, compared to the rated standard of 10 MB/sec (write speed).I'll keep and use it, because I don't currently have anything that requires that kind of speed, but it does not perform as advertised. For that, I rated it quite low, but not 1-star because it does still function, and isn't a piece of junk - it's just not the "Cadillac" model it claims to be. Due to the size of the card (16 GB), I may just use it in place of a USB thumb drive, since my largest thumb drive is only 8 GB.

When I first receive this card, I put it into my laptop, transfered some large files (music) to it, an transfered those files to a second laptop.Neither computer had issues recognizing or using the card, and the data transfered perfectly and quickly.BUT.When used for speed--ie in a camera, where it's supposed to write 10mB per second, it sorely lacks.Benchmarking it, it came up short, reading about 18K kB per second, writing between 2K an 5500kB per second, depending on file size.I am not a high-speed camera user as a rule, and the lack of speed isn't a "killer" for me, but if I bought this unit depending on the advertised speed, I'd be disappointed. I will continue to use it in my camera, as the files were consistent and dependable. I will also keep it handy in case I need to transfer data.edit: I had to bring some files to my attorney, and simply put them onto this card and carried it in my wallet. What a great way to bring a HUGE file over :)edit 10/19/2011: I just bought a new Canon T3i camera, and can verify that my camera is very delayed by the speed of the card--not the speed of the camera on high-speed mode.

Not a good idea to replace my extreme III since it's way slower than my old SD card.HD Tune Pro: Sandisk Extreme III Class6 4GB BenchmarkTest capacity: fullRead transfer rateTransfer Rate Minimum : 18.5 MB/sTransfer Rate Maximum : 18.5 MB/sTransfer Rate Average : 18.5 MB/sAccess Time : 1.06 msBurst Rate : 16.7 MB/sCPU Usage : 5.1%HD Tune Pro: Kingston Class10 16GB BenchmarkTest capacity: fullRead transfer rateTransfer Rate Minimum : 17.2 MB/sTransfer Rate Maximum : 18.0 MB/sTransfer Rate Average : 17.8 MB/sAccess Time : 8.87 msBurst Rate : 5.0 MB/sCPU Usage : 5.3%

Average use (few times a month), today the card will no longer be read by the camera. It is formmatable in Windows and can be used to transfer files back and forth, but the Nikon keeps reporting the card is damaged (all other non-Kingston cards work). Such a shame.

Class 10... Really? At first I was pretty happy because this is my first 16GB card and it added huge storage to my little Canon compact camera.... but then I tried using it to transfer music files from computer to card. 15MB/Sec is low performance. The title "Ultimate" is outright trickery. This is ultimately SLOW~! Beware of the wording "Class 10" it does not imply fast - look for the max write speed and buy a card that is 30MB/SEC.I have another card; the SanDisk Extreme that is a true class 10 with 30MB/Sec. transfer. Definitely worth a few dollars more. I won't fall for the wording "Ultimate" nor "Class 10" in the future.

I ordered this set mainly because it was the best deal I could find when I wanted to upgrade my 4 GB microSD to 8GB in order to fit a bigger library of music and podcasts on my semi-smart phone, a Nokia E63, which is now my primary MP3 player.I am happy with the new microSD card, it is serving its purpose well. Transfer speeds while synching are good, and I have experienced no unhappy issues. But what I did not imagine was the significance of the USB card reader. This has, for me, made the converter to full SD card obsolete, which is great because my previous experience with these converters has been sketchy. It can be hard to get the contacts to work correctly in my experience, leading to a lack of reliability.I have used the SD converter that came with this package and it has worked well in the limited testing I gave it, but I am now using the USB exclusively. I don't have any devices that take miniSD cards, so I can't speak to that one.Enthusiastically recommended for the USB reader, which turns the microSD card into a flash drive while also allowing all normal synching transactions.

I bought this card for my Camcorder which requires a High Speed SD Card to record 1080p video.I went with Kingston with the belief that they made quality products and were reliable.I bought the camcorder and this card exclusively to take family video while visiting family on the other side of the world. After shooting a few precious days of videos and rare family gatherings the card simply STOPPED WORKING.I have had no means of accessing any files.I attempted accessing it on my laptop / other cameras but IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK.ALL THE FILES / PICTURES I HAD ON THE CARD were COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE and this occurred after just using the SD Card for less than a week.I luckily had a PNY SDHC Card that I purchased for my Camera and ended up having to use it with my camcorder for the entire trip -- although it was a class 4 it thankfully did the job.AVOID THIS PRODUCT -- or you'll regret it.Update:>After contacting Kingston I was told that this was a KNOWN ISSUE with the card & it was primarily due to the Toshiba Controller in the card -- they also mentioned the product was discontinued due to the high failure rate; they also offered to send me a replacement card.>>Upon receiving the replacement it turns out it's using the exact same controller -- which is disappointing because it will surely lead to failure in the future.AVOID THE HASSLE -- AVOID THIS PRODUCT & This Brand for Memory Cards.

Kingston is a brand name that I associate with reliable memory, going back to my computer-building days of yore. This 16GB class 10 card carries on that tradition, providing high-speed reads and writes with no hiccups thus far. I've used it without incident in a Canon VIXIA HFS100, a Canon XSi, and a Canon PowerShot S95. The built-in reader in our iMac recognizes it no problem, and quickly pulls all photo and video onto our hard drive.None of the devices linked above requires higher than a class 6 card, so there has been no noticeable improvement from using a class 10 card in them (e.g., the XSi burst capacity is limited not by card speed, but by DIGIC chips). I have not noticed any appreciable increase in speed in copying the photos and video to the iMac, but I treat that task as a background operation. In any event, I'm comfortable relying on Kingston to capture my photos and videos, far more so than I would be with some of the never-heard-of-before brand SD cards that sell for slightly less. I bought 2 16GB cards on a sale from Amazon. I usually use Sandisk Extreme, and always wondered if it was worth the money I pay for these things.Well, I installed these in my D7000, and didn't really think anything of them.Normal picture taking is fine, as long as you don't eat into the buffer. I'd say for snap shots, it's fine. Anytime you eat through the buffer, expect your FPS to drop much lower then on a high end card. The most aggravating aspect about this card is during playback. The normal snappy transition between images is horrible with this card. At first, I thought something was wrong with my camera, and after some goofing around, I decided to take 20 Large, Fine JPG images with this card vs. the Sandisk cards that I had and there was a huge difference between playback functionality.I haven't had any reliability issues with the card, but this card is NOT RECOMMNENDED, for any price. There is no way this delivers class 10 performance. Now, these cards just sit in my desk drawer, and I'll probably give them away, or use them in my P&S.
