This little assortment of storage worked great. I have some microcomputer applications that have different storage, and this allowed me to move data between them and my desktop computer.I recommend it.

I bought two of these cards to use with my Panasonic SDT750 camcorders. I have a number of other Patriot, PNY, and Kingston cards that I use, but out of all of them, these Ultimate X cards are the *ONLY* ones that caused me to actually lose data. (That's NOT good when you're working on a videography gig. I'm so glad that I used multiple cameras or else the loses due to this card would have been irreparable.) Even after letting my camcorder do the formatting, I still lost data. Note that I was not recording in 1080p mode, so I wasn't even writing at the maximum speed of the camcorder. I ended up getting others cards that actually work and have yet to give me a problem. As it turns out, the write capabilities of these supposed class 10 cards are pathetic. Transfers of things like digital photos to this card average 700 KB/sec and large files transfer at roughly 5 MB/sec, still well below the 10 MB/sec that they're supposed to write. I doubt highly that the problem is due to the occasional defect because BOTH of my cards have exhibited this problem and BOTH of my cards have ended up being corrupted when being used with my camcorder to the point where all data is lost. These cards might suffice for long-term storage or for storage of non-critical files, but after this experience there is no way in he-double-ell that I will ever trust the Kingston Ultimate line to my DSLRs or camcorders. Just stay away from these.

REVISED 2/28/2011After using this for awhile in my Sony HC-9 video camera for stills I had to come back and revise my review. It does work in the HC-9/HC-7 series in a Memory Stick Pro adapter, but write times are literally triple (300%) slower than the Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo Mark 2. I have to cut it back one star due to this issue and it's not working as a drive in my Muvi Pro micro camera.Depending on your application this may be OK, but I use these cameras for investigative purposes and getting images wtored quickly is very important. The limit of small, for a better term, the size smaller than which an object is less useful than if it were bigger. The plus of this little card and its' diminutive reader can also be the minus. It is so easy to misplace unless it's tied to something bigger. So I wonder, why not get something bigger in the first place? This may be worth considering if you are shopping for a strictly USB configuration. My original intended application was as a large capacity storage medium for my Muvi Pro miniature video camera.UNfortunately, the Muvi was not happy with the 8gb card, for whatever reason, preferring the 4gb one that shipped with it; so I had an "extra" flash drive... for a couple of days. [EDITED to add: It might be the write speed of this Kingston card, not the capacity].Then I ran across an adapter MicroSDHC to to Memory Stick Pro Duo (Bulk Static Package) available here on Amazon which would allow the use of Micro SDHC memory in a Sony Memory Stick Duo application (as a still image drive for the Sony Handicam HDR-HC-7, also available here.Extra unused card solved [Well maybe not. Very slow write speeds are becoming an issue.] But back to the form factor. The USB reader that ships with this micro card is so tiny, I resorted to attaching it to a security-badge type clip so I could "pin" it to a pocket and keep it from falling out with change.I was also concerned with the little micro card falling out of the USB drive because it is just a pressure-fit in the end of the reader, it doesn't clip in. In the few days I carried it, the little card didn't back out of the slot but chance scraping next to pocket contents could get it started backing out.As removable memory, other than the Muvi's indigestion, it's been fine, the Sony camera read & formatted it immediately and writes/reads photos just as though it were a Sony branded product. So! Good value for 8gb of memory at the limit of small!

I bought this for my new Nikon D7000 thinking Class 10 is the best... Apparently that standard is obsolete, because 10mb/s write speed is not "high performance" or even "fast" when compared to 95mb/s with SanDisks Extreme PRO cards. Did I get my monies worth? Sure. Did I fall naive to advertising and marketing buzz words without using complete due diligence, YEP.Crappy product because of outdated performance. 2 stars because the card still functions.

This is by far the cheapest 10X card out there by half. Real speeds are; Read 18MB/s, Write 12MB/s. Works transparently as in no problems in a Sony HD Video HDR-CS130. Also works fine in the Nikon D7000 without any speed problems. (Manual says use at least Class 6)So what it really comes down to is does it perform as fast as some of the most expensive cards? Not really, but considering what those cards cost you can buy two of these for the price of one of those. If this card does what it is supposed to do, and at speeds that are fast enough to accomplish what you are trying to do, then it is the smart card to buy. I am sure they are going to sell a zillion of these for the price.I tested it in my Epson Network printer and it came up as a network drive no problems, and did a read/write procedure. No problems, and very quick. So if you are a high end professional and demand the very best in read/write speeds for HD video then the more expensive cards are the right ones for you. My friend purchased the 8GB version of this card locally and he did have an error message in his Nikon 3000. So he brought it home, downloaded the 140+ photos and formatted the drive. However I get those types of problems periodically in my Olympus Digital camera with different manufacturer's cards. One final note is not whether the manufacturers stated speeds live up to the hype; it is whether they are delivering the price performance ratio you need. So I would say if price is the major consideration, and you want a great card very inexpensively, go for it.

So far, of the three name brands of cards used in my Sony A77, this is the fastest one in real world use. With Sony's 24mp sensor the buffer tends to fill up quickly when shooting high speed sports. Although Sony recommends a class 6 or better card you can't go wrong spending the bit extra for a class 10. In a recent bicycle race photo shoot, with the A77's drive set to Hi (8 fps) I was able to capture about ten full size images (jpg X-Fine setting) before this card choked my camera waiting for buffer to write to the card. Although this is just over a second of shooting time, keep in mind that the `spray and pray' method of photography is not the best way to shoot. Shooting controlled bursts of 3-5 frames yield the best results. With a short pause between bursts, the Kingston card was able to keep up with the camera without making me wait for the buffer to clear. Although the two other brands of cards tried billed themselves at 10x, with slightly faster claimed write speed than the Kingston, neither one could keep up with the buffer under my normal event shooting mode. I'm glad the Kingston was the first card I put in my A77. The other two are being `retired' to backup status.Alibi: I don't shoot much video, but the Kingston card did not cause any issues with the five minutes of video capture I tried.

I bought this to replace the original 8GB card in my HTC Evo. The card shows up as 29.88GB after formatting and works great. I only have two complaints, though one of them apparently isn't related to this card (but rather the phone).Reading/writing to this card while plugged into the HTC Evo seems slow. The maximum transfer rate seems to be capped around 2.7MB/s. Moving over 24GB of music took like 2.5 hours. This is apparently a limitation of the Evo though -- if you search around you'll find a "speed fix" that says the file /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/ defines read_ahead_kb=4. If you change this to read_ahead_kb=128 then you'll be able to read from the card at much higher speeds. I tried this but the card would never mount properly so I wasn't able to use this fix. I would suggest you insert the card into the phone, format it, remove the card from the phone, use an SD card slot or a USB slot on your computer to transfer things directly to this card, and THEN plug it into your phone. You will get much better transfer rates that way.The one thing I have had problems with is using this as a USB device with Microsoft Sync (in my car). The old card worked perfectly -- I could plug my phone into the USB port, put it on disk drive mode, and then play music directly off the USB cable. This card didn't even work until I went to the dealership and got an upgrade for Sync (which costs money) and while it works now, every track is delayed by 11 seconds. I don't know what it is, but every time I tell the system to play an artist/track/genre/etc. it always shows about 11 seconds tick by on the dashboard and THEN the song starts. When it moves to the next track, the same delay occurs. I didn't have this problem with my old card so I suspect it's the new card and not my car. I really don't know for certain though. For now I'm just using bluetooth audio which is fine, but can't be controlled with voice commands so it's a bit more distracting while driving.Besides that issue the card and phone work great together. Once everything was transferred on to the card it works fine inside of the phone itself. It's great to finally have ALL of my music on my phone.

I ordered this memory card with my new digital camera. There's not much to say about it aside from it does what its supposed to. I also like the fact that it was a LOT cheaper to get this one compared to going to a store like Bestbuy and getting one.

Ужасно

the pricing on this product is stuck back in time circa 3 years ago, if not more. similar capacities now sell for a 10th the price at other vendors.

I've tested 2 SD10G2, both failed in less than 15 minutes after first usage. I'm disappointed. If you still want to buy one, the first thing you should do is to stress it (copy a lot of files, record a hd video, etc) before using it.

Плохо

As a Class 4 32GB memory card for a smartphone or tablet, this is fine. I'm a long-time loyal customer of Kingston, I've never -- NEVER -- had a Kingston memory product be faulty or fail on me.That said, this card has disappointing read/write speeds compared with 4GB Class 4, and 2GB, cards from Kingston. Here are some speeds I got from SD TOOLS for Android:.............. write..........read32gb/4........ 4.6 MB/s......15.3 MB/s.............. 4.8 MB/s......14.7 MB/s04gb/4........ 8.3 MB/S......18.8 MB/s.............. 5.9 MB/s......19.0 MB/s.............. 5.8 MB/s......18.0 MB/s.............. 7.8 MB/s......17.0 MB/s02gb/_........ 6.5 MB/s......16.8 MB/sRegardless if you want fast write speeds for taking pictures or video, or fast read speeds for retrieving data or applications, the slower speed of the Class 4 32GB card is disappointing. Other brands, and higher class cards, score better. I'll be selling this one on and getting a Sandisk or Lexar Class 10.

Великолепно

Excellent value product. I use it in a Panasonic LUMIX ZS20, with the best results and speed, especially when I download photos to PC. Therefore the Digital 32 GB Kingston Flash Memory Card SD10G2/32gb is by far the best on the market.
