These cards are not class 10 speed. My camera needs only class 6 to record video. Ordered this card, camera gives message "the recording has been stopped automatically" - this means the buffer has filled, the card cannot keep up. Returned card (Amazon does free exchange). Received second card. Same problem! This time I missed the 30 day Amazon return window because I was on vacation (taking pictures!). Feel ripped off. Have not had trouble with previous Kingston cards, just with this model (twice!). (P.S. Camera works fine with other card (at least class 6).)Either Kingston has a problem, or Amazon is getting duped by a counterfeit supplier - Amazon you should look into it.

I mainly got this little guy to use in my car's SYNC system via USB interface. i like the idea that in future when the larger capacity cards become cheaper, i can simply unplug this 8GB and plug in a new one.The USB adapter feels a little cheaper than i thought it would, but it seems to make proper contact everywhere it needs to an works well. Speed could be better, but this is a class 4, so i didnt expect much. I dont need performance where i use it, so it really doesnt affect me.All in all, Kingston makes great quality products, and i would happily recommend this or buy it again myself.

Some photographers don't rate the Kingston SD Card all that high. This card is a "Class 10" SD card and it works extremely well in my Nikon D-90. I have been well please with the fast speeds I get in using the card and the price was excellent on Amazon. I personally don't plan on stocking up on such cards as I believe the price will eventually drop for the large cards , the same as they did for the smaller memory cards.It takes a very large card when you try to take video and this was the main purpose of my purchasing this particular card.

I find this full sized SD card to be exceptionally fast on reads, and good on write.I performed a test read/write to the card, which showed a 13 Gb/sec transfer rate. This exceeds the Class 10 specification by 30% or so. This disk is great for those situations where one might want to read the contents (like for a picture frame, or to drive a video presentation), and good for use with video / camera recording.Recommended for any one using a full-sized card in multimedia / video / camera applications.

Kingston continues to sell a well-respected, dependable and consistent product. Hoped this 16 GB Class 10 would exceed the perceived speed on my Nikon cameras that I'd enjoyed from other flash memory card manufacturers. This moderately priced device gives moderate performance, however. Not bad at all, just not the value breakthrough that we look for.

This product is an excellent addition to the video camera my mom had received. She can now bring the camera and her extra memory cards to any of her grandchildren's events without worrying that she will run out of space.

Don't buy it, unless you really don't need a class 10 card. It's so slow you can't even use it for ReadyBoost on your PC, let alone use it for video or a fast camera. To label this a class 10 card is deceptive advertising.Using Windows Command line winsat to run speed checks on this card I discovered a Read speed of 0.45MB/s and a Write speed of only 0.39MB/s. This is so far off the minimum required speeds for the class that there's no way this card can be legitimately called a class 10.

Plenty of storage at a good price when purchased (deal of the day).Thought class 10 would be Ready Boost compatible for our netbook but no such luck. An older 4GB card from another manufacturer worked just fine.(Ready Boost allows external storage devices like memory cards or USB flash drives to act like RAM, adding extra memory to assist in computer performance. Can be cheaper than buying RAM.)

I was excited to pick up this SD card, I have several smaller (much smaller) memory cards I use with my camera. That's what I wanted to use this for but my camera won't recognize this card. I'm not sure what the problem is, I formatted the card but the camera keeps saying the card needs to be formatted. I'm disappointed I won't be able to use it for photos.

First time out with my new camera (Nikon D5100)at about 150 pictures I get a error message. Message said to replace card. All camera functions were frozen.I inserted card in computer, it took several tries but it finally read card and was able to save pictures.I purchased 2 cards.I would watch performance of card to determine if there is a problem with the operation of the cards in regards to card size and the relationship with the camera. I know the computer needs several attempts to read the card successfully.Will return cards,can not take chance of losing pictures in the future.

This memory card was pretty disappointing. My computer had problems reading it several times although my camera seemed to be able to write to it ok. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to move my photos to my computer at one point. Even after it let me move them I had problems deleting them by using the computer. My other memory card doesn't behave that way.

I don't know yet weather it's camera setting or card's dimensions. But I broke my nails trying to get card out and still had to use pliers to pull card out. So I use my old card for now.
