Великолепно
This camera was purchased as a gift for a student graduating high school. That student loved this camera and recognized that Canon makes great cameras. I would recommend this camera as a starting camera.

My husband lost our other camera the very first day of a cruise. When we got home, I ordered this to replace the lost one. My husband is the photographer in the family so if he's happy, I'm happy. He liked this one better than the other one.

Got this for my daughter's birthday back in Oct 2013. Still not disspointed. For the price it works rather nice and it takes very nice pictures. Wish it had dropbox thought, but can't expect more. Recommended.

I chose thi rate for I was not very happy with the product. I think it is pretty expensive for not having the memory or even a power cord to pass the pics to the computer

I use this camera for my part time job doing residential homeowners insurance inspection, I take photo's both inside and out, the camera is a good match for me, it takes excellent photo's plus when out side in the West Texas sun I can use the viewfinder when the sun makes the screen totally black. Outstanding point and shoot camera.

Canon is gradually eliminating all of the control features that have made their point and shoot cameras my first choice. Since I first started with my Canon A95, they have eliminated manual control of shutter, aperture, closeup mode, and others. In addition, they have sadly moved most of their remaining choices into the digital age. It takes several "clicks" to get into closeup. P (Program) gives you virtually no choices but ASA rating. The camera will take acceptable photos only under optimum lighting conditions. The thumb button video mode is touchy, thereby causing video shots you thought you were recording to be missed.My wife has the A1200 and it is far more acceptable, even though it, too, lacks several of the manual choices their older cameras had.I would give the A1400 no stars or one star except that supposedly means "I Hate It" which is a little strong for even this camera.Only good features left are the viewfinder (mine is out of focus, by the way) and AA batteries.Enjoy........

I bought this camera for my girlfriend for her summer travels this year. She absolutely loves it. Its simple so even a child can use it, takes great pictures (16MP is crazy good for a camera this size) batteries seem to be lasting a long time. All in all a good product.

I have an old Canon Power Shot SD450, rechargeable type battery with "5.0 MegaPixels". The battery is bad so instead of ordering a new battery I thought this camera with "16MP" and 2 AA batteries would be great. No recharging batteries and 16MP would blow my SD450 away. WRONG!! The pictures from my SD450 will blow this so called 16MP away. No comparison!So I sent the A1400 back and ordered 2 new NB-4L batteries for my SD450.It's old but it takes very clear pictures!! I'll just keep it.

Nice little camera for on the go. Images turn out pretty good, video however, don't bother, images are very choppy. Unless you set it on a tripod, but other than that video is useless. Not to mention you'll love the (270) page user guide. A bit overkill.

I could not believe the many controls and features offered by this camera.I have not had a camera since the 70's with a AE1 and find this little beautyalmost as good. If you really want to get the most out of it, download the PDFfile instruction manual. It has a wealth of information. I am still trying to use all thedifferent settings and aqm having a ball.

I love it because it has an view finder in addition to the screen. It is simple to use and very light. The pictures I have taken so far have been great.

I looked high and low for a small, inexpensive camera with a viewfinder. I do not have a need for anything high tech. This camera is easy to use and I love it. As others have said, the AA batteries make life a lot easier.

Camera works fine but I really wish (even if the cost is increased) that a memory card had been included with the camera. I received the camera and then find out I need to buy something else to use it!

happy with this purchase, good little camera for the price....only complaint is a slight lag time when the flash has to charge, but photos without flash load instantly

We are very pleased with the functionality and ease of use of this camera. The photographs are very good quality. What we really like and the reason for the purchase was the viewfinder (eyepiece) this camera has. All too often, the visual display on the camera back is "washed out" and difficult to see in strong sunlight. The viewfinder allows the subject to be captured perfectly under all light conditions. No complaints about this camera; also a very reasonable price, and we like the idea that it utilizes easy to obtain AA batteries, both alkaline and rechargeable.

work photo transferred from my photo file onto my co.'s wbsite right side up,my other camera and phone camera never did that. The photo downloaded fine into my picture file?! Gonna call cannon to see if they can help me with this.I do like the view finder ,which my easy share did not have ,and is hard to find on point and shoot cameras.

I especially like the view finder... great for taking pictures in bright sunlight when you can't normally see the screen. Easy to use, I even figured out how to easily shut off the flash! (Nearly impossible with my previous camera!) Easy to download photos to my desktop. So far, absolutely no problems.
