The good: I enjoy the sound quality of this subwoofer. I use it to listen to classical music as a bookshelf speaker with my Logitech internet radio.
The bad:
1. For the sound it only has an RCA input. Needed an additional adaptor cable to convert the 3.5mm output from the radio.
2. The power on/off is manual. When I set my radio to sleep, the subwoofer stays on all night. The system on/off works only with Yamaha sound device.

Великолепно
This sub is a perfect addition to my Yamaha YSP600 Soundbar.
The soundbar sounds good on its own, but when connected to this sub it really brings it to life. It gives real impact to my PS3 games, especially COD Modern Warefare 2. Action scenes on DVD's sound fantastic.
Check the dimensions before you buy as its quite big.
If you are buying a Yamaha Soundbar, then get this sub as well. You will be glad you did.

This was something my son asked for and was not readily available elsewhere. It came as promised and has been installed in his system. He is very pleased.

Bought this to complement a YSP-600. They both fit neatly on the rack under the TV and although they aren't the most beautifully designed products, they are fairly inobtrusive compared to having a full surround sound kit. To my ears the subwoofer sounds good and is great for general TV and DVDs. It copes fairly well with music too, although I do prefer my dedicated hifi for that. All in all, if you are buying this you are probably not looking to spend a fortune in surround sound equipment, in which case this unit will not disappoint. Great value for money.

ive got the YST-FSW050 and it is fantastic the size the sound all very good got it connected to the Yamaha YSP-600 with my panasonic 50pz tv all i can say you will be blown away with the sound 5 stars all the way
