Excellent product, i just plug in and starter working with out anyinstallation and does not need to know much about electronic system internet connection; just plug it and go.Perfect for people like me, that we don't know much about wiring.

I bought this switch to replace an older 10/100 switch that died. A great value for the price.It is small and is well built with a metal case (most others are plastic), this one is sturdy. You can hang it from the wall or set it on a shelf, it runs cool and works flawlessly. I have mine hanging on the side of the desk. Very easy setup.Would recommend to anyone needing an inexpensive switching hub for home internet connectivity.

I needed this netswitch for my net connection that needed multiple ports for multiple computers, I'm glad I chose this one, it's small and durable, I would buy it again for sure.

Pros: Just open the box plug in the power supply and the internet cables. I used # 1 for the input from the cable modem, #2 to the router, and #3 to my desktop. I've been having issues with my internet dropping its connection to the web. I'm using this to separate the desktop from the router to help diagnose whether the problem is with my service provider or my router.Two minor cons: The user "manual" is useless and you need to have a spare RJ45 cable handy as none is included with the switch.

Purchased this 8 port hub to replace two hubs and a wireless router behind my media center. You can ask no more from a router than you get with this bargain buy. I use a netgear powerline adapter (another good product), Plugged in all the jacks, plug in the power and shazam. Works like a champ. Now I can put all the lines together and minimize the tangle.

This a great product. Easy to setup and does what its supposed to do. I have had this product for just over a month and so far I have no problems.Setup: Easy, simply plug and playPerformance: I have my xbox360, wireless cable modem, and computer hooked up to it and all have perfomed amaazing. Download speeds on computer are still over 1MB/sec. Wireless connections (IPAD, IPOD, laptops, etc) are all great, no video lag and websites come up right away. Online gaming for Gears of War 3 was flawless too. Not one time did i get a glitch or delay.Overall, this is a great product and very reasonable price. Not sure what product reliability is. Has not given me issues yet,hopefully it stays that way.

I bought this switch to simply split the Ethernet cable to 2 separate to plug into computer and VoIP phone. Works perfectly. My last switch made it sound like my phone was barely connected. I ran a speed test on my internet before and after I installed the switch and my internet speed was not compromised at all. If you need a switch, this is a perfect option. And wow! very inexpensive

Excellent quality product and consistently exceeds in the performance department. Design is sleek with black metal case construction versus other competitive plastic case models. I needed to add 2 ports from my DSL gateway to expand my local area network in my home office and this product was the perfect choice. The GREENnet Switch was "plug and play" straight out of the shipping container!!

Once installed, I couldn't reach a web server connected to this switch. After trying everything, I found this sentence in the manual -- "The Switch was not designed to share Internet between multiple computers. You need to get an Internet router." I'm not sure what that means, except that it doesn't work. I bought the D-Link DGS-1005G, and it worked immediately.

Although network switches should be easy to set up, it is not always the case. This unit was certainly a breeze to use. Only (minor) complaint was that I mounted it on a wall (in my garage) and the screw slots in the back are not easy to use, but I doubt most people mount these on a wall.

Just what I needed! I prefer to stream my video's over ethernet rather than WiFi as I feel its more reliable (fewer drop-outs, drop-offs in picture quality) and a bit faster. So, I ran a flat LAN cable from my router to my TV, plugged it into port 1 of this baby, then plugged in my Roku box and Sony Blu-Ray player into ports 2 and 3. Done. Took 5 minutes, and everything seems to be streaming away just fine. Have two more available ports for any future additions, too. More and more I'm moving from WiFi back to good old LAN cables.

OK, this thing doesn't work. You plug the ethernet cable in from your router, then plug in your devices you want to run, and only 1 device will work. I would send the POS back but it's not worth the trouble.. It does absolutely nothing.

I recommend this switch to anyone who wants to wire their home with cat5e or cat6 cable the switch is small and i like it how it doesnt take up a lot of space.

This is a great unit for splitting between multiple pcs on a network or adding a host of printers to one switch were they will only have to access one at a time but it will not split one internet connection between multiple systems or gaming units. It says this in the instructions but is not mentioned online.Pros: Small, light, will do switching between systems.Cons: Not useful for 99% of household networking needs.

This unit replaces a much older one that got zapped from a lightning strike.Hookup was simple and worked to perfection from the start.Wired Ethernet switch are getting hard to come by locally,so get a couple to have handy.You'll be glad that you did.

I bought this to extend my in-home network out to my home-theater room via a couple of Powerline Ethernet adapaters. (Look up Zyxel here on Amazon.)It works fine, looks good, nice and compact for an 8-port switch. Good buy.

Bought this switch to connect several devices in basement through a single available ethernet line coming from my DSL modem/router. All three devices use the internet (computer, DVR, Roku). Began experiencing severe slowdowns/non-responses on those and other wired devices, but not on wireless devices. Problems disappeared when I disconnected the switch. That's when I found, in the troubleshooting section of the scanty manual, that this switch cannot be used to share an internet connection, even though the switch is connected downstream from an internet router! At least it was only $12 wasted!! Moral: Beware what is NOT stated in the item description.

It works and I paid little for it. This is primarily being used to switch traffic between a computer and multiple multimedia devices in my entertainment room. Since nothing requires anything higher than 20Mbps, this does the job quite nicely.

So far this ethernet hub has worked very well. I recommend it if you're in search of such a hub. Its a lot smaller than i expected which definitely was a plus.

Worked great. I needed to connect my unverse Internet output to my apple tv, roku and google tv. No issues. Have one port open. Faster and more reliable than wifi.

Needed a few ports of Ethernet in a remote part of the house. Purchased this and works as advertised. Exactly what was expected. Plugged, power, plugged all the devices and I was up and running in minutes. Nice.
