This headset met my needs and works perfectly for using online in Skype for calls.The price was right and it shipped very fast. I would recommend it to any Skype user.It could be improved by increasing the earpiece sizes.

My mic on this headset was what appeared to be sealed and i had to cut the plastic for anyone to hear me and i have not had any good experiences with this mic it is very quiet i dont know if its because something is wrong with mine but this headset was not worth the money.

Pros:- Low Price- Excellent Sound- Good microphone, no feedback- Sturdy HeadsetCons:- Uncomfortable over long periods- Flimsy USB portOverall, it's a great headset for the price. The only major drawback is the comfortablity. The headset presses down hard on your ears, which over a long period of time becomes annoying.

I ordered this one despite I read some other people's complaint. Now I really regret. It's really bad. There is lots of noise when I listen to music. And I can't use the microphone at all. Have to return it immediately. This gives me a bad emotion before the Christmas. :(

This thing works great. Audio quality of ear phones is excellent. The mic quality is also very good and seems to filter out side extraneous noise. I use it on Skype and to add voice overs on my Premier Pro Videos.

I needed a headset to skype with to talk to my brother. We skyped the other day before I had a headset and it was pretty difficult. I called him yesterday with this headset and he said it was clear and I could also hear him clearly. I have a smaller head and it fits good - and snug. If you have a big head (literally), you should probably avoid it. If you have a big head (figuratively) then you'll enjoy hearing yourself clearly through the microphone and speakers. If you need something for all day, every day use, then I would also look at a more comfortable set. But, if you just need something for every now and then this is a great deal.

I have windows 7 64 bit i plugged it up and it installed drivers just fine, these work perfectly, .great sound its true the mic is really sensitive picks up lots of sound but I had to turn down volume to fix that. I really like these though fits great over my ears and very comfortable. good buy, good price .

i bought this searched ps3 head sets and mics. this came up, so i paid for it, got it, now i can hear other people great but doesnt reconize mic, im very unhappy that this seller doesnt describe this as only a pc headset, it says gaming and has usb hook ups, do not buy this product for any gaming console, just a waste of money

I've stopped using it because there's some device driver conflict that causes my desktop computer to crash. It works great on a laptop, but it's a bit too bulky to carry around with me.

I have not used them, but my 12 year old son will not take them off. He says they are very comfortable. We got them to use with Dragon Naturally Speaking, but he uses them also for gaming.

These travel with me everywhere in my PC bag and never failed me.They are comfortable and have good audio quality for making phone calls and the like.I do not use them for serious music listening but my hearing probably would not knowwhat it was missing anyway.

We use VoIP softphones for work and the analog connections keep us connected better than USB!! With USB we kept getting disconnected, but the analog-type is much more stabil

I just received my Plantronics Audio 326 Stereo PC Headset this afternoon and I love it! Rests comfortably on my head and the microphone is close enough to my mouth without interfeering with anything. Sound quality is awesome, I couldn't have asked for a better product for the price. I've been wearing them for a few hours now without any discomfort very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

I think Amazon got a bad batch of these, because even the replacement one they sent me had the same problem. At low levels the sound would distort and crackle. It sounded horrible.I love Plantronics but this headset is a lemon.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my business partner. His works fine. Mine does not. The microphone on mine works fine, but the headphones do not - they work on some web sites, but not others. Very odd...and disappointing.

My new computer doesn't have traditional mini-jack input for a microphone, so I needed an inexpensive USB headset. I had no particular reason for choosing the Plantronics .Audio 655 USB Multimedia Headset. It came up first in the Amazon listings, had pretty good reviews and is moderately priced. So now I own it and have been playing with it for a while. Conclusion: it is a keeper. It is not the be-all, end-all of headsets. But for internet calling via Skype or other services, it is more than adequate and the noise-cancelling microphone does a good job at suppressing extraneous noise. The earpads are large and sit comfortably on my equally large ears. The head band is adjustable and well-padded. Overall, this is a comfortable headset that can be worn for substantial periods without discomfort. My biggest complaints are the location of the volume controls on the outside of the left ear headphone and the user of the boom as a mute switch. I personally find the volume controls in this configuration difficult to maneuver and would prefer an inline switch. Using the boom as a mute switch is, in my opinion, poor design. Again, I would prefer an inline switch. Neither of these perceived failures is a showstopper, but when it comes time to replace this unit, I wouldn't buy another with identical "features". Transmitted audio quality is excellent. I tested it with Skype and Audacity and my voice was recorded crisply. The boom can be bent into a limited range of positions and I quickly learned this microphone doesn't like being too close to the mouth. Backing it off a bit resulted in crystal-clear audio. I'll be using this for recording podcasts and don't think I'll have any problems or regrets. The earphones deliver clear sound. The ample padding helps seal out extraneous noise. Overall, good value for the money in terms of audio quality and user comfort, but lacking in ergonomics.Jerry

The price for these headsets was fair and I bought two, one used for watching online videos and making calls from my computer (Mac) and the other for interactive multi-player games (Windows PC)After just about a month of use Microphone on one (used for multi-player games) stopped working.On the other one the USB connection is bad and it just loses everything both audio and mic.I will not recommend these to anyone.

These are light, fit well, and sound fine. THey sound better than I'd expect for the price. No, they're not audiophile headphones! But they sound fine for casual listening, a bit light on bass. They also work great for phone headsets, which is my primary purpose.Unfortunately, the telephone adaptor cable recommended by amazon doesn't quite work: unless I hold the headphone plug tight in the adaptor cable's jack, I get audio on right side only. I consider this a flaw in the 3.5mm jack in the adaptor cable, since the same 3.5mm plug works fine in my laptop.I expect these will be comfortable for long phone conferences.I have a relatively small head with high ears, and a lot of headphones won't go small enough for me. No problem with these. I suspect they'd even fit most kids over 10 or 12 yrs old. They extend long enough to rest on my chin, so I suspect they'd fit a large head well too.

Relatively inexpensive from a known brand. While it is a bit bulky (I like that) it's comfy and the head strap is adjustable. Great product for a nice price.

As a gamer myself, I can guarantee you one thing; the voice chat is pretty good for games like Day of Defeat. The headset returns pretty good quality sound, and is as I always say, "wunderbar". For people (like me) who want to use it to make commentaries and such, I think this works good for that, however like most; it does tend to have a bit of a static noise in the background. NONE THE LESS, I think I would recommend this if you simply want to listen to things, and when you want to voice things. I did have a little trouble getting the speaker to work at first, im using an older windows xp computer however, if you can't get it working right away, I had to set Microphone Boost to either on or off, not sure which one. Conclusion? Great deal, I expected alot less considering its fair price!

Despite some other reviews, this headset works just fine with Windows 7 32 and 64-bit versions, and Max OSX. Anybody seeing blue screens with this headset and Windows 7 64 has some other issue going on which is not the fault of these headphones.In fact, I use the headset daily with Windows 7 64 Ultimate and it performs exactly as it should in all applications and even with some strange things live a DVDongle. DSTAR transmitted audio is great by all reports.

quality of the microphone is 5 starsquality of the sound is 5 starsbut you cannot have it over your ears more than 5 minutes cause it's not comfortable. it is great for a short call with skype, but if you are going into a conference call, you will need to move it away from your ears after a while

i have not used them as much as i thought i would. so cannot say to much. pretty comfortable but not perfect for long period of time. i use them for voice commands not listening to music so can't say much about that kind of sound quality.

Well I love over the ear headsets much better, but they always seem to break faster, because I wear glasses and it's more comfortable for my ears. This headset has the best sound i've heard throughout all the headsets i've ever had. It just hurts my ears. Also, this is the kind of headset where you put it on and right away it becomes hard to hear if anyone is standing next to you talking, and that's when you just have it on without and sounds coming through. The microphone is great, no complaints. I do hate having the boom go up to mute it. I like the volume controls though, and it actually controls your computers volume when you mess with it, not some unique volume for just the headset.I really wish they didn't hurt my ears, it would instantly get 5 stars if it did. I think the ear cups are actually kind of small, and I don't have big ears either. They squeeze against my head which makes my glasses also press against my ears/head. Maybe this would be excellent for someone with smaller ears, and someone who doesn't wear glasses.I wont be buying this again, but i'll promise you wont be dissapointed with the sound quality or microphone , just the comfort level.I also want to add on that sometimes the audio completely messes up. It turns into a staticy high pitched kind of thing, hard to explain. I have to unplug it and put it back in to fix it. Sounds great when it's working though..
