I heard about these on the Leo Laporte show and decided I had to try them. I have had a couple of other brands before and these have been the best I have ever owned. They fit very well and sound great. The boom mike does a good job of sending your voice off with little background noise. Overall this was a great purchase and I would it again.

The performance of this stuff is very good!First, you can use it to listen music and quality of sound is good, and very comfortable even you wear it for a long time .Second, the speaker can adjust the volume, and till now I don't have any problems when I talk my friends and parents.I think the quality of this headset is very good, and you can have confident to buy it.

OK I bought this item back in September, didn't remove it from its packaging until November as I didn't need it until then. It was great for all of a day. The it died. Seriously the headphone side got all crackly then just stopped playing sounds right and finally gave up the ghost. Of course the refund time had expired on the first of the month. So little did I know I bought a worthless piece of junk that I then cant return. So its really a gamble, the sound was great for the day that it worked. Cant really say anything for the mic side of things as it died before I could use it. If you get a working one I'm sure you'll be happy. But personally I'm never buying this brand again.

This is a great headset and the price just makes it better. The bass on this thing is way better than I thought it would be, I listen to a lot of music with bass instruments in it. It's comfortable and I wore it for about 4 hours with no pain, but I have small ears so I guess a person with normal ears might experience some discomfort. Mic quality is also great and comes through crystal clear. Only thing is though, that I have to place the mic below my lips to stop the sound of breathing and still be able to be heard. If there is a windscreen for this thing somewhere I would buy it. Other than that I have no complaints.PS3 users: This mic does NOT work with the PS3 in game, but it works with a voice chat in the main menu.

After the plug-and-play installation I was up and running with Google Voice and Skype calls. They have been clear and concise for both me and the far-end party. I've had conferences lasting over 2 hours and the headset is comfortable that entire time, then my ears need a little break. What else could you ask for, the headset is priced right.

We bought this headset to specifically use with Rosetta Stone. They work great. They fit my children's heads very well and they gave no complaints. The ear pieces are a little small for my ears and might be uncomfortable if I wore them for an extended time. Nothing that can't easily be ignored for a session, though.

I'm sending mine back because the Mic does not work when plugged into the Line In jack on my MacBook Pro. Any sound transmitted is coming from the built-in microphone in the laptop, not from the headset.

The product came very quickly even with standard delivery. It is lightweight and easy to use. For long periods of use, I sometimes change positions of the headset to asssure comfort. The sound is quite good and the microphone is excellent. I am pleased with the purchase.

I bought these because a tech personality said they were some of the best on the market. I agree they are very good. My only complaint is that they hurt my ears. The ear piece is too small. They sound good. Even when I talk to my wife in Africa.

I am a gamer and demolish headsets at a rate or 3 or 4 per year. I wear them several hours a day almost every day, so I go through a lot of headsets and dont want to pay too much but did want something that is of decent quality and comfortable. I am so glad I bought this product. With the many choices provided it was hard to figure out which headset would suit me the best, so I entered a price range and picked this one from the list. I've never owned a USB headset before and I love how easy it is to use. The sound is awesome for the price and I like that the mic boom mutes it automatically when you flip it up. I use Ventrillo and got several comments about how clear I sounded with my new headset. My head is extra small and sometimes I have trouble with over with over-the-head style headsets because they dont adjust small enough. These do, so if your head is small these will fit you. They are not ultra light, but after 6 hours of use were not bothersome and didn't make me feel like I was wearing a bucket on my head like some headsets do. The ear cushions are comfortable and block out distracting noises very well. I would definately recommend for gamers. 5 stars - 06/2010

I like this headset a lot but the pads on the earphones need to be better after using for an hour or two i have to take it off and let my ears relax because there is really only padding around the outside none really on the inside. Even a little layer would probably eliminate this problem. Other than that this is a great product and i would recommend it to my friends and family.

I've had this head set for 9 month. A month ago I had to call support and they couldn't solve my problem so they sent me a new one that works great. I paid for shipping, but that was a small price to pay to get my freedom back. I can now answer the phone from anywhere on my floor.

I cant believe Platronics came out with this item I have used many of their other items but this one in a cheep feeling and looking item. Sound is good but it just feels like the Airline headsets!I will get a new set as soon as I can.Sam

Buy this headset if you want to use Skype with a poor internet connection.This headset really boosts the call quality for Skype when your internet connection is weak or slow (i.e., rural areas and developing countries). I call the U.S. regularly from places with very slow internet, and the sound and microphone quality is great on this headset. Basically, this headset makes Skype calls possible in certain locations where I would otherwise be unable to suffer through the low quality call. For that reason, I put up with the slight pinch and bulk of the headset. I don't know that I would recommend this headset if you have a good internet connection -- there are sleeker and more comfortable options. I only gave it 4 stars because of the bulk and slight pinch that would be frustrating for universal use, but in a developing country, this is a must-have headset.The headset has plug-and-play software, so there's no need to install anything to use it, which is another advantage when traveling (i.e., easily use it in internet cafes or with computers where you can't install software).

It was not the item that was pictured but that is ok! I hear noise in the headset and there seems to be no way to turn it off unless I mute the mic from my computer. guess its something they need to work on to fix it for the next updated model. other than that I love the headset!! It does get uncomfortable after a little while but I don't wear them more than half an hour to an hour so its no big deal for me.

If you run a 64bit version of windows, you will have stuttering and "Cyloning" issues. Works fine on my wifes 32bit windows 7 machine, but all 3 of my x64 windows 7 machines have the same issue. I thought I could live with it, since I was assuming it was only during playback, but I've had people complain that the mic cuts out and "Cylon's" during Voip calls as well. I've already ordered a replacement, but will keep this one as a backup... Hopefully the drivers will be fixed by the time I need to use it again.

I just received my Plantronics USB headset that I plan on using to make VoIP calls. Overall the quality is acceptable, they are made OK. However the over the ear speakers are only marginally adjustable and the foam pads are not very thick. I think that they are unsuitable for extended wear. My first thought was to use a heat gun to warm the headband above the earpiece and bend them a bit to fit my head better. They really press against the area in front of my ears above my jaw. Also because the foam pads are so thin they press uncomfortably against my ear. It is too bad that Sony doesnt make a VoIP/multimedia headset. I use a Sony MDR-7506 headphone to listen to music and they are SOOOOOOO comfortable and weren't that expensive. I can't say enough good about them. If only the plantronics were a bit more adjustable like the Sony headphones all would be well. I'm almost tempted to send them back but looking again at the selection of gaming/multimedia headphones that are available... most are sort of cheesy.

When I bought a new PC several years ago, I signed on to Skype service to communicate with my children who live overseas. With the PC microphone and speakers, the sound quality was marginally adequate. And moving around in my chair affected the sound from my microphone heard by the other party. I decided try the Plantronics stereo headset based on information gleaned from various sources. During my first use of the headset, the other party commented on how clear my voice sounded. The result was the same at my end. And the long cord provided with the headset gave me ample room to move about during the conversation. For my purposes, it has worked out perfectly.

I was looking for an all-purpose headset - primarily for music and chat. This fits the bill. Sound quality is great. Microphone quality is also quite good. The flip-up to mute function works well, as do the volume controls on the headset. Just be aware that it's L-O-U-D. My laptop has a volume range from 0-50, and without any modification of settings, it's painfully loud at 20. Perfectly listenable at 3. Some fiddling around with the settings and it's a little safer - just be warned before you plug in.

The mixed reviews gave me pause. I bought this headset anyway and am very glad I did. Frankly most of the complaints are user specific anyway. "My ears are too large" or "the cord is too thin for my taste." That's not a slam but I'm sure if the cord was thicker someone else would be unhappy then too.Sound quality is excellent, both the mic and the speakers. Great for keeping outside noise when you're trying to listen to podcasts, books and other informational audio. The headset gets more comfortable over time as the tension against the ears lessons a bit. Overall I find this a great value. I'm told this sounds as good as my $150 desk mike.P.S: this is the same exact unit as Plantronics wireless model - san the wireless and off button. I bought this as a backup. I mention that because if you want wireless then you'll be basically be getting this unit in a cordless design. Both units work great - the wireless version is good enough for recording which surprised me. However its battery life is poor IMO.

I was looking for a USB headset that would allow me to use Gmail's new free VOIP phone service and decided that this one would fit the bill. It's a bit larger than I expected but the sound quality overrides this minor concern. One minor detail that any prospective buyer should note is that the USB connector is kind of wide and thick which can be an issue when using it on a laptop or netbook where the USB ports a close together (the plug actually blocks the port next to it on my netbook). The headset was immediately recognized by Windows 7 and the sound quality is superb-- certainly good enough to also use for music and movies.

The Audio 326 Stereo PC headset from Plantronics was my first foray into stereo headsets and online chat meetings. It worked remarkably well, having none of the complications I feared from a basic headset. Instead it came with the quality and comfort I have come to expect from Plantronics, and at a low price. Highly recommended.

This headset is very nice and sturdy for the price. The sound quality is good and the basic design of this headset is nice. The only reason why I did not give this item five stars is because there is no USB adapter. My desktop has the USB port and that means that I have to buy an adapter for it. Again I will say that for the price you cannot beat this headset, I use primarily for online meetings and training sessions and it more then does the job.

this headset it horrible.. it lose's on the highers and distorts sound every time it starts growing high in sound. even while watching TV shows and movies. the headset is extremely uncomfertable and is also very small.. and crappilly made.

Pro - No driver install required, just plug and go. Sound quality good.Con - Hard to get speakers to work as well in Win 7 w/o unplugging. The ear cups are smaller than they appear in the photo so the are not over the ear style.

I am a quite fussy about sound quality and to my ear this headphone is quite musical even though playing music is not its primary application. I bought this headphone for my daughter who is learning French using Rosetta Stone. Plantronics is renowned for its headsets designed for voice communication, so I bought this without much research. When it arrived, I found it is actually quite big in size and its padded ear piece sits around the ears, thus eliminates any long time wearing discomfort. The speakers are enclosed type so while you are listening to it, sound does not leak and disturbs others. It has a fold able noise cancelling microphone which has a red tip, adding some cool factor. The headphone does not need any driver, just plug it in and Windows detects it as a sound device. From usability point of view, nothing can be more easier.It works flawlessly with Rosetta Stone, but as I have not used it with any voice chat application, I do not know how that noise cancelling microphone sounds at the other side. You can adjust volume by pressing two buttons on the left ear piece. The microphone also incorporates a cleaver design, you can mute it by raising the boom. This is quite nifty for voice conference.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of music it plays through. For a value multi media headset, I must say the sound it rich and not muddy like many other cheap headsets. If I do not have my Ultimate Ears, Shure or Audio Technical ear/head phones around, I may still use it for listening my musics through it.The only drawback of this equipment is: it is made of plastic, it is quite big and kind of clunky as per my taste. However, if you factor in the price, I must say it is a very good buy.

Either my head is too big or they are just on the small side. I use them only for Skype phone calls and they are working fine, so no complain there. I just wish they would be wider and not as flimsy. I would look elsewhere next time.

Over all this headset is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn. The ear pads are soft and fit my ears perfectly. The sound is very rich and vibrant while playing music, video games, and online conferencing. I have been wearing this headset for work for 8+ hours a day and I have no fatigue what so ever. I give this product an A+ for value and performance.

Sound quality is decent. Has good bass but one speaker rattles a little with low frequencies. My problem is that they hurt my ears after a little while of wearing them. Its really hard to enjoy anything when I have to keep adjusting them. I bought them for use with skype and the mic sounds great.

Used plantronics .audio 90 and similar a few times, bought this cos they were on sale. Resume: horrible, they seem to randomly work on any computer (tested on 3 diff computers), keep getting an error saying USB device not recognized, and that error keeps showing, sometimes they work for a couple of minutes, and stop again.Im not sure if its a problem with my headphones or is a combination of factors that's causing those errors, don't take any chances and get something else non usb imo, im using gamecom 1, old but they do the job, also, much more comfortable than this model.

If it weren't for the problems that I had, I would totally recommend this headset. The sound quality isn't amazing, but for the low price, it is pretty great, and multiple people have complimented about how well they can hear me over Skype.The problem?The headphone sound quality when plugged into my laptop is disgusting. Everything is garbled and broken. It works beautifully on my desktop, but barely at all on my laptop. Unless you know that this headset will work on your computer, I don't recommend it.

I've worked in radio and as a voice over announcer for 30 years. I needed something for some simple recording at home that wasn't going to break the bank. I'd love to have a Shure RE-20, my all time favorite workhorse, but it's pricey and requires more of a set up that I need at home. So after some careful research I came across the Plantronics line. The audio tests done by some folks online really impressed me and the fact that they are being used by some large companies for training audio also impressed. When I saw I could get it for under $30 I was happy but a little leery too. Well I've had it at home for two days now and run it through it's paces. I'm VERY impressed! The audio on the mic is very good, I have no idea what the problem is for some folks. I know the clunkiness of the headphones will put some people off but having worked in studios for years they don't bother me at all. It took some very minimal tweaking to get my software to get the great sound down "on tape". I'm looking forward to working with this set up for years to come.

Trivial setup; plug it in and Windows 7 made it work, nothing to click or do.Skype automatically asked if I wanted to use the headphone and microphone that were plugged in, that worked fine.People on the other end of the phone commented that my cellphone sounded much better than usual.They sounded clear, and the headset blocked background noise pretty well as well.After an hour or so, I pushed them forward ever so slightly; little bit of pressure on my ear towards the back was uncomfortable. Left them on throughout the day to listen to music when I wasn't on the phone.They feel a little plastic, but they're $30 headphones, and they *are* plastic; works just fine for me

Strong microphone. Nice sound. Not sure if they're meant to, but it has a noise canceling power to it. Used mostly for Ventrilo and Skype, but also listen to music, and have watched Kill Bill 1 & 2 with these. I would buy again if something happened to mine
