The phone arrived by the stated delivery date, and has worked well. The connection is clear regardless of where I am in my house, and the large display and large illuminated buttons are easy to read. Overall, I'm happy with this product, and would recommend it to anyone needing a cordless phone.

I was looking for a phone that was inexpensive yet adequate. This phone satisfied the first requirement but not the second. There must have been something wrong with the microphone and/or speaker because the person on the other end of my conversation could hear pops, whistles, echoes and other random noises along with some periods of dead air. The phone even transmitted and magnified low level noises, e.g., children laughing half a block away, that were occurring outside my closed windows. Also, the phone wasn't entirely intuitive to set up and use and it just didn't have the feel of a quality product. Amazon replaced the first phone I ordered but the second one was also riddled with problems. Amazon settled that matter too. While I cannot recommend this phone, I definitely can recommend Amazon as a company that handled this problematic purchase with professionalism and to my complete satisfaction. Thank you, Amazon!

Finally I'm able to get rid of those persistent telemarketers and for that I'm very thankful to this phone. One of the best purchases I've made in a log while. Also great to have 2 handsets; very convenient.

I read the reviews on this Panasonic KX-TG6511B cordless phone herein and decided to order it and received within 10 day, but when I opened the shipping box, something looked suspicious, as the phone box was scotch taped closed and after opening the mfg box all the parts weren't seal in plastic, such as the batteries, jack cord and others. The phone itself didn't have the usual plastic covering over the phone face and the face had very small scratches. Needless to say, since I ordered it as new, and it wasn't, I returned it. My account was credited within a couple of day.

The Panasonic KX-TG6513B is a great phone system, and it saved me hundreds ofdollars. I have a separate phone line that runs from the modem in my basementto the third floor, where my mother lives. That line stopped working. Comcastsaid that the problem was with the internal wiring, and that I would have tohire an electrician to find the problem. Obviously, I would like to avoid thatextremely expensive option. I took the phone that I had up there (V-tech 6141),and hooked up the base unit directly to the modem in the basement, and put twohandsets on the 3rd floor. That didn't work. The phones received the signal,but would lose power after only a few minutes & you could not use speaker. Ithought I'd have to call the electrician, but wanted to give it onemore try so bought the Panasonic KX-TG6513B.THESE PHONES WORK BETTER THAN I EVER DREAMED THEY WOULD!The base unit is plugged directly into the modem in the basement, and I havethree handsets upstairs. The reception is flawless - voices are very clear andeasy to understand (even on speaker). I was on hold for over 40 minutes withBarnes & Noble, and there was no problem. In addition, the features likePhone-Book, CID and Voice-Mail are so easy to access that my mom, who is in her70's and is not a techie, has no trouble doing so. I absolutely wouldrecommend this phone to everybody!I am happy to say that it lives up to all it's claims!I only wish I could give it 10 stars! Thank you!

At the end of the day, these are your typical run of the mill home phones but Panasonic designed this system to be several notches above it's competition. The styling, imo, is top notch; modern and tasteful piano black. The range is remarkable as it uses the 6.0 DECT. The user interface and menu layout is intuitive and easy to navigate through. Useful features abound, whether you use them or not doesn't matter...they are there just in case you need them. Voice clarity on both ends have met our expectations and far exceeded them at long range, again that's the DECT technology working.There are a couple things I dislike about the system. The ringtones are horrific and the amount of text you can have on the display is something like 10 characters. These obviously don't affect performance, but they're ear and eye sores.This system should be on your short list if you're in the market, both Consumer Reports and these Amazon reviews made that abundantly clear to me.

We needed to replace a cordless phone with a cordless extension without an answering machine. (We use TELCO VoiceMail) Our house is not very large so the distance from the base was never an issue. Having 3 phones included allowed me to put an extension in the garage making this very convenient. The sound quality is good and the programming features are fairly easy to set-up. One of the nicer features is the visual indicator if you have a new voice mail message waiting for you. (No need to pick up the the phone to check for a stutter dial tone !) The phone being a DECT 6.0 technology, I have had NO interference from any of other electronics in my house. My former phones would get very heavy static every time my microwave was in use.

Purchased these last week, setup was simple, sound quality has been great with my Vonage service.Favorite features:Phones are linked together for their data, meaning that if you update the phone book on one handset it is updated on all of them.Caller ID is also shared, so if I answer a call on phone 1, the other phones do not show a missed call.Ability to name phones, we have these named Bedroom, Living room, Basement. You then have a logical naming when doing an intercom call within the house.Display is very easy to read.Battery life so far is very good, 4 days so far and all are still showing full charge.The buttons on the phones are rubber, not plastic and they are backlit. They have a nice feel.Dislikes:The center round selector button works good for navigating in a direction (up, down, left, right), but does not "click" well if trying to push it straight in to select something. (though you don't have to do this to select an menu, you can push right to select)Overall very satisfied with the purchase at this point.

Have only had the phone for a few days, but so far it is wonderful! Service to get it here was the best, prompt and the package came in great condition. The phone works like a charm! Our previous phone (VTech) lasted only a little over a year, so we are hoping this one lasts longer! Love the fact that it has lots of rings to choose from!

I love this cordless phone system. This is my second Panasonic cordless phone system - it works great. I had no need of voice mail since I have a service with my phone company. My favorite option is the ablity to save numbers and permenantly block those numbers.

I needed a cordless phone for business. I always use a headset, have caller ID and answering system from my SP, so I need to find a phone that would accommodate these scenarios. This phone doesn't have an answering machine, which is exactly what I wanted, because of the service I use from my SP. This Panasonic fit the bill perfectly. The sound is extremely clear, caller ID has a large, illuminated readout, programming is intuitive, the "VM waiting" feature not only shows up on the screen, but a yellow light blinks to let you know a message is waiting from the SP's service. Phone book holds 50 numbers among multiple groups (I have 1 group for internal company, another group for external company and a 3rd group for family). Range is outstanding, as I can go out to my barn and it is still clear. The radio has an "Eco Mode" that saves power if you're close to the base, but steps up if you're at an extended range. This makes the battery last much longer. I got about 2.5 to 3 days out of the phone under normal use without charging. Other features are a button on the base so that if you misplace the phone, it rings so you can find it. The phone also has call block, so if a nuisance call comes in repetitively, you can save it on a "block" list and they caller can't get through. The only thing that I might have wanted was a "talking caller ID" where the caller ID comes up for an incoming call if you're already on the phone with another party. I knew this going in and saw other phones with this feature, but the other phones that had it did not have the headset jack which was a must in my case. Lastly, the phone is nice and light to hold, which is a vast improvements from the "heavy brick" cordless phones that we used to lug around the house. When using the headset (not included) I sometimes wear it on my belt with the included belt clip and hardly know it's there. (I use the Panasonic KX-TCA93 headset which is compatible with this unit). All in all, the features and operation of the unit are perfect for my business.

Can't believe it, they are half-duplex phone (admisison of tech support) and their microphone is so sensitive that you can't whisper or move a paper that it will cut the incoming voice. As a result you don't hear the other and the other gets upset of all these noises.Crazy. After decades of using Panasonic ... goodbye Panasonic(too bad so many good features)

Favorite feature: Speakerphone :) Everything else is well thought out and pleasant to use. Might be nice to be able to customize the Font and also the background color of the screen however the function is excellent.

I wanted a phone without an answering machine, with two handsets. The choices were slim so I finally settled on this phone. It's easy enough to set up and operate and the numbers are easy to see. Sound is quite good My old phone's screen was lit so I could see if I had messages at a glance, because of the power save this doesn't do that but has a slow on off light signal. When I'm talking on the phone and receive another call, the screen doesn't light up so if I'm in the dark, I can't see who's calling. This is my only real complaint. Oh and I wanted a steel phone not black, they are hard to find without an answering machine.

This telephone comes with lots of options, or so the manual says. I wouldn't know, since all I wanted was a cordless telephone which was easy to set up and easy to use. This system is just that and I had it up and running in minutes. The handsets are comfortable to hold and use, the sound is clear, and the range is sufficient to cover my entire house. I've had several cordless systems over the years; this one is the best by far. Highly recommended.

Product was exactly what I looked for, works excellent, has an alarm clock wish is excellent for me, and people hear me clear when I am far from the principal unit. Recommend 100%. Price, value is the best.

I had been looking for a cordless phone for over a month and I went online to Amazon, not only was the price right but the phones are the best cordless phones I have had. The directions were clear on usage and they have rechargeable batteries and I did not have to wait 24 hours to charge the phones. The handsets are a perfect size. I would recommend these phones to anyone. The only problem I have with this phone is the call waiting feature seems to have a be a problem when you switch over to talk on the other line it cuts off the caller

This is the second set I've purchased. The first set worked fine for a couple of weeks and gradually the sound quality deteriorated. Finally, I called Amazon when I felt like I was talking in a tunnel on every call. I figured I just got the lemon and reordered the same Panasonic KX-TG6512B. My new set arrived and I set them up. Sound was wonderful and after a few days, I mailed the first set back. Not two hours after I dropped them off at the post office, I made a call and although I could hear the normal sound while pushing the numbers, what I got after dialing was the dial tone. After checking my hardwired phones, I knew my new Panasonic phones bit the dust. I could still answer the phones when they rang, well for a couple of hours anyway, then they would just cut off the caller when I answered. These are going back and I'll try another manufacturer. If you do purchase these phones and have a problem, save your time and order something different.
