I'm a big user of Panasonic products, however; this telephone has some big problems. It has a reoccurring beep; it seems to be searching for a stronger signal. The phone also has periodic silence spots; you can't hear anything not even the other party on the line it's like the phone has no power. Lastly, there is a sort of wind noise, all these issue are frequent and random; they disrupt and ruin important conversations. I suggest staying away from this phone. I should have returned it but since we use our cell phones most of the time I neglected to return it during the warranty period.

I had rated this a 3 star since the phone was cancelled after I ordered it due to not having stock yet it still showed stock when I went to re-order.However today I received the phone and called them. I am returning the phone since I had pruchased another one - but they did end up explaining to me what happened. consequently I have changed my rating to a 5. Very nice people at Price Pros.So sorry I didn't get a Panasonic - but they did responde quickly and satisfied me.

This model was selected after review on Amazon of products and reviews. After two months of use we can say these phones have totally lived up to our expectations. The feel of handsets and keyboard, screen visibiity, and sound quality are all excellent.

I had my first set of Panosonic phones for near 15 years. When it was replacement time I chose the Panosonic once again. I am glad I did. The updated version is great, numbers are bigger and the menu easy to navigate. I can highly recommend them.

It took some time to adjust to a land line phone that was only slightly bigger than my Verizon cell phone. However, I can still hold it against my chin so I am hands free to flip some eggs. We have also used a headset as it has a jack for that. When I read the specs, I was under the impression that you could select a number of ring tones but there are only 2-3 tones and they are adequate. The handset locater button is easily accessible. I have not yet programmed in any favorite numbers but it seems easy to do. Scrolling to previous callers and calling them back by pushing the "Talk" button is very intuitive and easy. When someone calls, there number comes up on the caller ID and is easily readable. Overall, good product.

I bought this based on review. Already, in only two months, one handset is not working. It will, for no reason go to mute, and there is nothing you can do about getting it back, leaving the person on the other end to fend for themselves. It is awful. The set I had was better than this. Don't buy this, look for something else!

I needed a new office phone and wanted something comparable to the Panasonic model we got for home a few years ago. The model we got for home apparently is no longer available. So far I can only get the phone to work if I use it in speakerphone mode! I can't get a dial tone for the most basic pick-up-the handset operation, but there IS a dialtone since it works in speaker mode. I will probably have to send it back and I really need a phone for the office NOW.

This is a great product, and a great value as well. Good range, a shared phone book, caller ID, call waiting and the ability to add additional phones. What else do you need?

I had a set of VTECH and a single Panasonic phone that just died on us. The VTECH lasted about 4 years and the Panasonic lasted a good 6-7 years. I was looking for a set of 3 to replace the 3 that had died on us and after reading reviews, I decided on this set. I didn't need the voicemail since it comes with my home phone service. I like how each phone can have its own ringtone. The LCD screen is easy to read with big fonts and back light. Hope these phones will last as long as my old ones.

We have been using this phone system for about a month and we are very happy with the the overall quality. A slight hearing problem meant that voice quality was a very important aspect in our satifacion with this product. The voice reproduction quality is very good. This was a good buy.

I have researched expandable cordless phones for the last 3-4 months. All the research indicated that this model was the best for the features I was looking for. I needed an expandable cordless phone that had features like caller Id, call waiting , expandable with at least 2 handsets but without an answering machine. This model is very sleek looking and only took 6 hours to charge initially as opposed to overnight for most models. The clarity is great and the range is also very good. The main reason for purchasing this phone was to replace another expandable system that was very old and was not holding a charge. The price of this item was also a factor in my choice. It was one of the most affordable with the features I was looking for. I would definatly recommend this phone. It is a good value for the price.

i replaced an older panasonic phone with 2.7 gz. technology,the dect 6.0 technology gives you excellent voice clarity and sound quality, old phone i could occasionally hear other people talking in the background on their cordless phone,i live in an apartment complex, the large screen and large time and date display is convientent, the large keys and numbers make it easy to dial the correct number, i bought the headset, having phone sitting in my lap or on table is painless compared to holding phone while talking, i did have to go to panasonic web site to learn how to use user handbook. why the information is not at front of user book is a enigma, there has been no problems with phone, nice to buy a quality product.

I needed a DECT phone with a headset jack. There are surprisingly few available, and I finally found this one. It is perfect for what I need, which is just a phone, because I already have another DECT phone with answering machine. The signal is very clear and no static, which is important in my house with Wi-Fi, Blackberries, and cell phones everywhere. Always nice to find a product that does what it say it does simply and reliably.

This phone is so light that you think it is a toy. However, it packs a powerful punch. The set up is so easy and when you enter the date and time in one phone, it sends a wireless signal to the other phones so they are all in sync. I am very happy with this phone!

This is the worst sounding phone I have ever owned. Talking on it is like having an icepick jammed through your ear. You should avoid this phone.

Read the description carefully and remember to do your homework. I hoped to utilize the Bluetooth and wireless contact sync features listed under the item details; however the model I purchased (KX-TG6512B) does not have those features. After receiving the phone, I looked closer at the description and realized that the Bluetooth technology is only featured on different models within the KX series. So the features included are: Call Block/Silent Mode, Intelligent ECO Mode, Non-Slip Handset Design, and Smart Wall Mount. Other than the disappointment of no Bluetooth due to my lack of research, I have been happy with the phone so far and would recommend this product (AS LONG AS they weren't looking for Bluetooth of course).

I bought this phone for my 83 year old mother for mother's day. Perfect. She can hear on phone. I can hear her great. No interferance. I have had some of the most pleasurable conversations that I have had with her in years. Highly reccommend. She loves it!

I spent a little extra money on the Panasonic over the V-Tech, because the latter looked a little flimsy. The sound quality on this phone is excellent, as is the range. I'm not sure the "eco" setting achieves anything that other phones don't automatically do as well. Doesn't any wireless phone use more energy as the signal weakens? But okay.The phone seems well made and the the menu is easy to navigate. My complaint is that the handset is a bit light in the hand, and also a bit thin. I haven't bought a new phone in a while, so this might be unavoidable with the latest generation of phones, but I thought the rubber grip would be a bit more substantial. It's really just a thin band.

I still have an ancient Panasonic portable phone that has great voice quality but I needed a portable for elsewhere in the house. I tried several different brands and they were all terrible: echoed, no range at all without lots of interfence, indistinct voice quality and if you turned it up, painful to the ear, really bad. So I ordered this Panasonic set and it is just as good as the old phone I like so much. yay.

The phone was extrememly easy to setup with no problems whatsoever!Handset speaker is clear and easy to hear since my wife has a hearing problem. Also we do not detect any static or interference from other devices. The streamline handset fits comfortably in the hand and does not feel like its a chore to hold. Would higly recommend to anyone wantng a good, dependendable cordless phone for a great price.

I generally despise cordless phones. They still sound way better than conversation-destroying cell phones, (especially the benchmark-for-awful AT&T / iPhone combo) but they are usually lousy compared to wired phones when it comes to audio quality. But sometimes I need to be mobile and the cordless phone / headset combo is a viable solution. This Panasonic is surprisingly good. There is little extra noise in the audio and the range is big even in my apartment building with its endless array of competing WIFI and other wireless signals. Another plus, the phone has relatively nice ring tones instead of some of the all-cheesiness-and-scary-clowns ring tones so prominent on other phones. Anyway I'll crawl back into my telephonic cave now - but this phone is really pretty good. There you have it.

This is an excellant phone, EXCEPT it has no answering machine built in. I did not realize that when I oprdered it and have to return it. Who woul dbuy a phione in 2011 without an answering system buit in?

So I consulted the infamous magazine that gives great reports on productsand took their advice, and am glad I did. The phone is great. These cordless phones (set of 2) are just what I wanted. I needed to have phones that I could easily use a headset with, so that I could walk around while talking without scrunching the phone between my head and shoulder, a habit that caused me a lot of difficulty and physical problems over time. These phones work really well. The clip allows me to attach the phone to a pocket or waistband, plug in a headset, and I'm in business. Audio quality is fine, features easy to use, and the price was great. No problems to report.

Was look out for cordless phone within a limited budget, bought this panosonic phone, it works great. also good range and best was the clarity. Definitely would recommend for easy to use phone.

Really disappointing. The phone is lightweight. Easy to see push buttons. Easy to set up and one charge lasts a long time. But that may be because I don't talk on it! The reception is terrible. Static noise makes it impossible to hear with whom I am speaking. Although they say they can hear me fine.

The headset function on this phone doesn't work well. The battery isn't powerful enough allow a decent volume on the headset. It's built cheap and feels like a cheaply made product.I wouldn't recommend this product.

Found this set on sale for $69.99 CDN - regular $99.99. Fantastic deal is all I can say. Have used many Panasonics in the past and this is a definite upgrade from past models - even newer ones that I bought and then took back because I found the set up too complicated.Easy to set up. Fantastic battery life. Nice array of ring tones. Very well written manual - makes programming easy as pie. Voice quality is crystal clear and I have a voip phone ... so I can really tell if it isn't. I'm not huge on using all the features like call block etc., because I can do that online through my voip provider - but from what I hear it works well. Love the white LCD screen - makes seeing calls much easier - even without glasses on.If I had lots of money I'd pay the full $99 for it if I could. But I couldn't in the past. Luckily found it on sale - and now I'm thrilled!!! This particular model is for sure - one of the easier to use - and at it's midranged price - compared to it's higher models - delivers good bang and quality for the buck!

We bought this phone for ourselves a year ago after wasting money on four or five $1- to $15 dollar cordless phones which either required frequent charging or couldn't be used if more than 10 feet away from the base. We took it to my daughter's home to test it out; she lives in a remote area and had problems with phone reception.It worked wonderfully there as well so we bought her one for Christmas. Everyone is happy. I like the fact that you can tell when it gets close to needing recharging by checking the number of bars left. It is not easy to hold between ear and shoulder so we bought the headset for both ourselves and our daughter. Perfect.

You have to buy a phone to use the ooma VoIP system. I chose this one since it was cheap and it has a jack for a headset. It works great with a cheap headset. I believe the headset is the Panasonic KX-TCA60 headset but it doesn't have a label on it.

Charged the handsets as instructed. It worked out of the box for the first 4 hours. Then the hands free jack stopped working on one of the phones. An hour later the phone began cutting in and out like a cell phone in a bad reception area. I tried the other phone and the jack worked but the reception was just as bad. When I called the place I purchased it from I got a customer representative who sounded like I was distrubing her from something else. When I asked for a return authorization and a full refund, she told me she couldn't do that and that I would have to send an Email requesting this. She then asked me if I wanted the Email address. I asked her what she did if she couldn't give out RA numbers or refunds for returns and she told me her job is to give out the Email address. Sent the Email - got an auto return telling me they take 5 business days to provide an RA. Must be a lot of work to proived an RA number. I feel bad that I'm putting them through such pain. It's been 3 days, can't wait for day 5 so I can get this crap out of my house.

We don't have anything bad to say about the Panasonic phones. They are lightweight, which is great as our other two phones are not. I like the fact that they use 2 rechargeable AAA batteries rather than the $20+ batteries my old phones use. We haven't used the speaker phone feature or attached a head phone so can't comment on that. However, the reception on the phones crisp even though the base is in the far reaches of our house and not centerally located. We especially like the fact that when you enter an address in the address book or delete a call, the phone automatically performs that same function on the other phone. In fact we are thinking of buying another two phones. Also, the buttons are big enough and light up and the digital display is big enough too.

I highly recommend the Panasonic KX-TG6513B DECT 6.0 What a phone!!!! The features will blow your mind I have 3 handsets, it allowed me to set the handset in my bedroom to not ring from such time to such time, the one in my office to stop ringing after 10:00 PM and one in the in the living room after midnight. If you have a caller Id it spells out loud the calling number so that when you are away from your phone you can tell who is calling. It allows you to block unwanted numbers so that the person or business will never be able to reach you from that number again... these are just few great features it have many more like intercom, belt clip, etc....This is an excellen Phone!!

Works fine. Good sound quality. Good range(single family block construction), took it 75-100 feet away and still was acceptable. Nice large letter display, very easy to read. A little expensive for what you get.

Great sound quality & an easy to read display come with this reasonably priced phone. I've got the base unit wall-mounted downstairs, and the second unit upstairs. Both units provide clear reception. My mom even bought one after using ours.

The system sets up through the handset. This is a little confusing, but once I figured this operation out, the phone has worked quite well. My main reason for purchasing this particular phone was its use of rechargeable batteries.

I purchased this phone about a month ago and have had no complaints as of yet. Works well indoors and call quality is very clear. The menu can be a bit cumbersome to navigate but the screen size on the phone is good and reading the display is no problem. Battery life is pretty good too. I don't use the phone everyday but I only charge it once a week or so. My only complaint is that the phone does not come with a handsfree headset so I used an old one from one of my cell phones and that seems to work fine.

The range and quality on this phone set is incredible. I live in a house that is part stone and has thick plaster walls yet there is no issue with reception. I have one lan line phone wire and that's it in a 3600 square foot house. The phone remembers my local voicemail access number including passwords. It has an intercom. All functions are intuitive. Great set. Highly recommended.

I have used Uniden all the previous years, and after reviewing the reviews of other satisfied customers, I thought I would try this one. I love it, and found it easy to set up and maintain. The batteries on both phones would not hold a charge, so I replaced all four of them, for about $13.00 and it is now perfect! I will stay with Panasonic from now on. I highly recommend it.
