The phone has been great so far. The reception is good. The phone has a lot of nice features. It holds a charge for a long time. I would reccomend this phone.

When my old "walking around" phone stopped working after years of reliable service, I went to my local drugstore and bought a new phone. I didn't think it was a big deal. Well, that phone worked for all of 2 days. Needless to say, I returned it. Then, I looked on Amazon and read the reviews. This phone had good reviews, a reasonable price, and met my needs for a simple, uncomplicated phone. I did not want a phone that could cook dinner! I have not had any problems with it, and can agree with the others who recommend it.

I've only had the units for a few days. I'm sure I'd forget to review the units later so I'll do it now.There is no background noise on the copy of the product I received.The range from the base station sitting on a desk indoors was to about 150' outside the building.My house is apparently not large enough to find a bad spot indoors.In my opinion this system as very nice for $63. I considered the Plantronics CT14, CT12(used) and CT10(used) but the negative reviews of the system were a little strong and the dependance on a headset discouraged me.Initially I disregarded the value of multiple stations in the system. Now that I have it I am glad that there are several units. The intercom and the ability to see that the system is already in use from the remote are both valuable features. The intercom is enhanced by being able to give a name to each handheld. The name may be displayed by default on the LCD so I can trivially identify which unit belongs at which location, in case they cross paths. The intercom lets me selectively ring the desired hand-set. The find-the-units button on the base-station will ring all of the units at once.

I tried using this phone to replace another phone whose sound quality wasn't very good. This was even worse so I'll be returning this phone.

This phone is nice and has a few goodies that are helpful. Unfortunately, it does not have the range of phones it replaced. That could reduce the 5th star to a half.Actually, it could be a little more comfortable if on an extended call. Another loss of a half star. The sound quality was very adequate.But the on line price was the least expensive. And coupled with credit card points, and no tax or delivery charge final cost was $0.

I needed this Panasonic cordless phone to eliminate my black labrador from tripping on phone cords.PANASONIC KX-TG6512 rocks!! Great reception and features like date, time, display illumination, call blocking, different ringtones.I recommend this phone to everyone and take your corded phones and throw them away. Sermon over!!

We needed to upgrade an older cordless phone which worked well enough but could not cover the far corners of our house. That is no longer a problem. Very good coverage as far from the base as required. Quality of the speaker phone is a big plus as well.

I was really surprised at the poor quality. Equally surprised that I didn't feel the product measured up to its excellent reviews.The phone seemed poorly made -- very light weight. And the voice quality had a tinniness to it. Also it was very difficult to hear the caller on the other other end.On the upside, when I called Amazon to return, they were positively wonderful about it. They asked whether I'd like a replacement or a credit. I ended up exchanging it for an AT&T phone that far surpasses it. And yes, it cost about $20 more but well worth it.

I needed to replace my old Uniden wireless phones that kept cutting out & saw that a national consumer group reported these as their "Best Buy". Set up was effortless & it just took a few minutes to catch on to the way these phones operated. The things I like best about these phones are:Caller ID is displayed in large letters that are crisp & clear. Black letters/numbers on a white background.Phone Book is shared. Unlike my previous ones that had to each be programmed individually.You can set different rings for different groups (i.e. General, Family, etc).Phone is larger (approx. 6.5 L x 2.75 W) & can be held against your shoulder easily without hanging up, hitting unintended buttons or dropping it all together.The call quality is exceptional!If there are any "cons", I haven't found them yet. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!!

I set these up to work with my new Ooma. I've had very good luck with Panasonic in the past. This cordless phone set is excellent. These have very clear call quality. The setup was a breeze. Perfect!

Overall for the price I am happy with this phone but it does have some issues.1) Limited memory, you can only save 50 contacts which is very less. Good thing is that these are shared contacts.2) It has pencil cell like rechargeable batteries.3) Overall phone is slow so if you click on the phonebook and quickly enter first letter to search for the name then it might not get it if you are too fast.Battery life is good, overall build quality looks good & shipping was fast.
