"Amazing", what alot of fun. Christmas day we had the entire family playing together. This is the best family entertainment system ever. I would reccommend it to anyone. My 3 & 4yr. old daughters just loved the bowling game and actually did very well(easy enough for them to understand how to use the controller).

This was offered to me as one of my reccomendations for the day so I was able to get it a dollar cheaper. It worked great, it is a quality product. Can't go wrong if you need an extra one of these.

This is a great game system. I play the included wii sports with family and friends. Its a great way to spend family time when I'm 18 and don't really want to. Wii gives the family a chance to stay in and play some games and have some family fun.

Hi, Im 14. Coming from a teens view. At first when I saw the system months ago,my friends and I were not impressed at all. We all made fun of the remote. Nintendo....I am SORRY.
Ill be honest, im not a nintendo fan. I think that most of the games on Gamecube were so babyish. So, I was reluctant to get the Wii.
Im a Playstaion guy, I grew up with playstation 1, and unfortunately, I missed my chance to by the PS2. I got the XBOX. So, naturally, I bought the XBOX 360 right? NOPE. I was weened too late, and made sure I waited for the PS3 and the Wii. I saved as hard as I could. Babysitting every Friday night, skipping dates with Mel, sacrificing my old XBOX games, and selling my old XBOX. You couldnt believe it. I STILL didnt have enough money for the PS3. I had enough for the Wii, and after I heard the good reviews, I decided"if I cant get the PS3 in my lifetime, at least get one Next Genn console" Man I was IMPRESSSSSSSSED!!!! No longer would you need a football field, you could play in the room(via wireless multiplayer to enhance it. This thing is so powerful. Wii Sports perfectly captures the console's capablities. I was about to take Melissa to minature golf on Friday Night, when I thought, Why go out? We played in the house. It was so excellent. The guys and I played Baseball. Man O man! This thing was off the heesy!!! The heck with"too expensive for their own damn good"Sony and their "graphical superiority". This Wii, might lack graphical power(it definately aint next gen), but it makes up in superior and innovative gameplay. Mel loves it too. Its a dating machine,gaming machine, and sports funhouse for all your friends.

Wii is a great game system and worthy of 5 stars but my greater appreciation goes to Amazon.com. Somehow on 12/21 Amazon had Wii systems for sale for the regular price of $249. We ordered it and it was delivered on Christmas Eve. It was definitely a great surprise for my kids.

Great for my kids who are 8 and 10. They sweat from all the jumping around during game play. Graphics not near the xbox or ps3, but you are uying it to experience the game play, not just sit there. I highly recommend this - but do keep in mind... there will be less family battles and injury if your room is big enough for the players to stand at arm lenght from each other. Yes, we have had a few knocks to the head and each others arms during a fantastic game of tennis (with four players). Buy it well before any big holiday - cause it will sell out. Have fun.

I got to admit, for someone in their late 20s, I love this system! It's really interactive and with the right games, perfect for people of all ages. I'm very impressed with the Wii and defintely think that Sony has met its match.

I've had the system since it came out. I'm a 15 year old boy. Ya i like playing games like Halo. Even though the Wii doesn't have the best graphics out of all 3...its the only 1 that keeps me enterained long enough. Xbox 360 sucks after a while because the only game i hear about is Gears of War *Notice Gears of War is just another Halo* and no one else is online when i play my other games 75% of my friends are playing Gears of War. PS3 sucks because everyone who brought it is either a Kingdom Hearts Fan or Final Fantasy Fan or just want Assis. Creed which by the looks of what i've seen is just another Prince Of Persia with better graphics. Zelda isn't the greatest game since they said over 50 hours or game play and i beat it in less then 15 hours. But my point is that even my parents play it *Note: They are over 40 years old*

I am a little disappointed with this product, but my kids still like it and I guess that's what's important. The graphics are really not that great, and the games don't look as good as their older gamecube. Only the sport package really involves moovig the remote control around, the games seem fun but after a while they get a bit boring.
I guess what I am saying is that the for all the hipe for this product, I was expecting much more.

I love the interaction with the Wii system and overall it is really fun. However, the hardware is giving me a headache. When I bought the Wii I was under the impression that the Wii remote and console work with all Gamecube games, which is only half true. Yes, Gamecube games work on the Wii but not the remote and I don't know about the classic controller. I just bought a 2nd remote with Mario Kart Double Dash and it does not work with the Wii remote, only the Gamecube controller. Now I have to try and return this game or return the remote for 2 controllers, which will ultimately not work with any of my Wii games. Again, overall, the Wii is great, but there is too much going on the the hardware. Sure, the system is one of the cheapest, compared to the PS3 and such, but you will add on a ton a money with the many different games and controllers that are compatible with the system.

we bought a wii for my 12 year old granddaughter and we set it up in our game room and we all liked it so much that we decided to keep it at our house and when someone finds another one we will let her set it up at her house. all of this was with her permission.

FANTASTIC game! The Nintendo Wii was our #1 gift for Christmas and played by the entire family most of the day. I was impressed with the active teamplay and sportsmanship encouraged rather than individual sedentary play with other video games. We will be gifting more of these!

There is nothing on the market like this. Just like when the 16bit system that came out in '85, this one has, and does things like no other. From baseball to bowling, this is the most realistic system EVER. A must have! If not now, get one asap! From a 1 to 10, I give it a 12.

I bought my Wii a month ago at Gamestop.com. I had to buy a bundle, but everything was sold at retail. They kept me informed, emailed me when shipment (from manufacturer) was delayed, and Wii arrived unharmed. Would definitely have preferred to buy here at Amazon (I did have to pay $35.00 to ship) but at least I have one to put under the tree this Christmas and don't feel I was robbed!

It works just as it's supposed to! Plug it into the back of your Wii-mote and off you go. Just can't play some games without it....

In my opinion this is the best gaming console. The best feature is being interactive. I only play the interactive games. You actually get tired and workout different muscles based on the game. I guess users who don't like being active prefer games that challenges your finger skills and coordination. Great product the entire family can enjoy that is no overly complicated.

We purchased our Wii in late Nov 07. We played games with our whole family and everyone thought it was great. The best thing is that it gets you up so that you're more active physically with many of the games. We would recommend it to anyone in any age group.

I've never been a big console fan, but the Wii has won me over. The interactive nature of the Wii controllers makes this a truly unique platform. My five and seven-year-old both love the Wii sports package. Even though the graphics are not comparable to the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, it has not been an issue in game play. I've worked with game developers in the past, and the adage in the game industry is that it's the game play that's the most important ingredient to a successful game. Certainly holds true for this platform. We've particularly enjoyed Rayman's Rabbids, Super Monkeyball, and Elebits. Other games have been more awkward (Cars, Spongebob). This is a platform that will REALLY favor mini-games. Even traditional games like Madden benefit from the new controllers. My seven-year old has enjoyed the Opera browser to cruise the internet as well. Browser does not have all the bells and whistles as in IE or Firefox, but it does a solid job for a beta version. Works well viewing YouTube and there are some fairly entertaining flash games online that work well with the Wii-mote. My wife has especially fallen in love with the console and we've spent quite a bit of family time playing the Wii-sports package together. Finally, the access to the library of older Nintendo games has been quite enjoyable as it's allowed me to go back and play games from my college days, so don't forget to purchase a classic controller as well.

I have noticed something about gaming the past several years. It seemed to become a cumalitive effect and eventually would have caused another crash in the console market. That is until Nintendo took a fierce and wonderful chance. By creating a console that did not provide hi-def graphics or digital sound or for the most part on-line gaming. It almost sounds like I am talking about last gen gaming. Except I am talking about the best gaming console on the market right now. The Nintendo Wii has brought fun back into gaming. Whether you are playing with just yourself or 3 friends the Wii is the most innovative gaming device anywhere. I have had more fun than I have had in many years playing these games. I am the proud owner of six games. Even with that said there are still a few more quality titles I have yet to invest in. Sometimes it's not so easy to get used to using body movement to control a character on screen. Some games are actually a little difficult to get used to. Blame that on many, many years of traditional gaming. Although now I am having a lot of fun and am not afraid to admit it. I was die hard Sony fan over the past several years. I am now a proud Nintendo owner. They have done what others don't. It may be what is needed to shake up the gaming industry that has become very stale and unimaginative the past decade. If gaming is going to reach the mainstream it must take bold steps and chances like we see with the Wii. Not everyone wants cutting edge graphics and sound. It's about the games...

The Wii is great for anyone who is not a traditional gamer... getting up and physically playing a game is great. Great for the price... but if you are an xbox or ps3 person, this is not for you.

The Nintendo Wii is the best gaming system ever made. It is everything a system should be: A) Fun to play. B) Easy to use. Firstly, I have played almost every single game released for the Wii so far. Whether it is the 50+ hours on Zelda, or 4 player gaming with my younger brothers on Mario Party I have done it all. The system easily and perfectly accomodates everything I could ever ask for from a gaming system and is totally fun at the same time. Secondly, I have run my Wii through almost every function it has. I've connected to the internet and downloaded games and used the Weather Channel, I've plugged in my Memory Card and used the Photo Channel, I've even wasted time creating countless Mii's and you know something? Everything works quickly and easily. There is none of this freezing and breaking involved in the Xbox 360, and none of the complicated software associated with the PS3! This is the perfect video game system and everyone should buy one.

Most of my friends and I are not "gamers," but we've all been able to find something fun about the Wii. That what I like about it so much, I'm not wasting my time trying to memorize which buttons do what, I just just play some fun games. It's quite intuitive.
