I love this camera because of simplicity compared to SLR cameras, before I got this i read all the comments and reviews of the costumers. It's true this model is awesome for me. Thanks Amazon for the big help

This camera took good pictures, but it did not meet my needs. It has NO eye view finder which makes action shots and long distance shots difficult. Spend the extra money and get a better camera.

This camera is everything i wanted without spending a lot on equipment for a project I started. I have been taking pictures of just about everything. The instructions were extremely easy.. Highly recommend this

A great camera for the price. Only thing is it eats through batteries, but that can be expected for how much it does. I'd suggest getting rechargeable batteries.

This camera does not connect to the computer and the software must be uninstalled and installed each time pictures are downloaded. Although it takes good pictures when the settings are set correctly the ease of downloading pictures from the camera to the computer through the USB cable is terrible.

While my wife purchased the camera for her business, I have found to be very useful when I don't want to carry my DSLR. This means I have found it very handy for short trips to local attractions, where my primary interest is grab shots. The long range lens is very handy. Picture quality if fine for prints up to about 11x14.

I would definitely recommend it if you are a point and shoot person looking to learn on your way to a SLR/DSLR. The pictures are amazing with not much effort. I had shopped around for a while, and Amazon was by far the best price. Waited a week for shipping, but it was free so no complaints. Go ahead...buy it!

This Is my first big purchase with amazon and everything w/ this camera has worked smoothly and I have taken tons of pictures already.... I love the up close features overall a nice camera.... I bought it a while back and im pretty sure I got a smoking deal on this NIKON because it was used.... more or less LNIB

Great features, especially the zoom, but does not have a viewfinder. Great value for the price. It can take great indoor pictures without a flash.

Best Camera ever and so worth the price. I originally wanted the DSLR but for the price this camera packs a pretty good punch and it has lots of cool features like panoramic and selective color etc. The photo quality is amazing also

So glad I purchased this camera. I was able to take a picture of the "Blue" Moon a couple of weeks back and zoomed all the way in. No wash out, no white moon. You could see the craters on it! And, I was hand holding it at night to get this shot. It takes beautiful pictures all the way around. So far I am very happy with it. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

After reading the reviews and talking with other owners, I settled on this camera and I am glad I did. It's easy to use (especially for this non-techy person) and delivers great shots. I'm still getting accustomed to finding the right screens to change settings, but I am very happy with this camera and recommend it.

I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!!! ITS SO AMAZINGLY CLEAR. IT TOOK ME ABOUT A MINUTE TO FIGURE OUT THE BUTTONS ON THE CAMERA AND AFTER THAT I WENT TO TOWN LOL BEST AMOUNT OF MONEY I HAVE SPENT ON CAMERA!!!! AND THE CAMERA IS NOT TO HEAVY. IT ALSO HAS A STRAP SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DROPPING IT

We just received this camera and have used it for our kids fall photos and for a family picture. The quality of pictures blows my other camera away. You can edit pictures and add effects before even downloading the pictures.

I purchased this camera for my Student Council historian. She goes through 4 AA batteries a week and she only uses it two or three time in that week. Be sure you have stock in a battery company before you purchase this camera.

I bought this camera in preparation for a trip to Alaska. I wanted to be able to zoom in and take better quality photos that a simple point and shoot. I also did not want to bring my SLR, simply b/c of the bulk. I have been testing this out at swim meets and soccer games, and am shocked that in many instances that quality is as good or better than my SLR. I have played with the settings, and am looking forward to getting great glacier and family shots on our trip next month.

What a piece of garbage. Less than a month and it fails to read the SD card won't reformat it . Can't retrieve my photo's off of it. And their customer service is a joke. Rude. How do you let people that obnoxious answer your phones? If your considering buying this product I recommend you think twice. If anything goes wrong with it .. you'll get no support for it except from the place you purchased it.

Cool pix l820 is great . Clear pictures, easy to operate. My hands are constantly shaking and the camera accommodates it by the motion control feature. So glad I bought the model.

This is a really good camera for the price. The zoom is great, it has a lot of different user friendly settings, and takes very nice pictures. It's a little bulky, but worth it for the picture quality.

Still learning how to use it and I find it difficult to not see through a small window and just use the screen = sometimes you can't focus if the sun is too bright.

I am doing a construction project at the Marine Base in 29 Palms and this is helping keep a visual record of the progress. The Pics come out really great even in low light and the color is great. Very simple to operate andI am very happy with my purchase.

Easy to focus. Resolution is fantastic when the pictures transferred to a computer and minute details can be visualized. It is a little hard to get things in the view finder at very high zoom levels when the sun makes it hard to see the screen, but I think that would be true of any camera that does not have a direct view through a lens.

The camera works great for pictures and videos. The zoom is amazing and is my perfect upgrade for a point and shot camera.I give it 4 stars just because the LCD display quality seem to be not that good and it gets easily scratched.. still I would recommend it.

I bought this camera after not doing very much research but I didn't have to. This one was what I wanted in my price range. After using it at an indorse sports event I was impressed with the zoom and over all quality of the camera. It was smaller then I thought but still was easy to use.

I just used the camera on a tripod to record an audition for a friend and the video keeps going out of focus thoroughly the taping. How do I fix this??!!I figured out the solution... it was going in and out of focus because I had the auto focus setting in video... when i changed it to single focus it fixed the problem :)

Like camera very much (more like 4 1/2 stars). Pictures have been very good, some excellent. Wish it had more manual control for some settings, especially shutter speed. Zoom is great, good detail.

I got this larger Coolpix after getting the little one a few years back. Its just as easy to use and comes in the same color of red like I like. I don't know how to use all the features yet but have been getting some great results just playing around with it.
