I purchased this for my 16 year old to use in his room for computer and iPod and it has been a great hit! Two older brothers also gave a thumbs up to the quality of these speakers. The base is powerful and the sound clear and undistorted.

Bought the set from Best Buy after many positive , glowing reviews here on Amazon . While the power rating may be there , and THX certification is claimed ( which I doubt highly ), these are weak sauce . Do not enter this sauce into the county fair ... becuse it will lose . The main speakers sound very tinny and and without the bass module , they would be as worthless as those un-powered speaker sets you used to have for your old discman . The only reason I ever looked into these was because my Klipsch Pro-Media cable had come apart and it appeared at first it was going to be a huge hassle to repair . In the end , and after the repair , I had both system running off my bluetooth reciever for identical input and there was simply no comparison . Both claim to be THX certified and my ears heard why one deserved it and why one simply claimed it .

These work great, amazing sound quality and great bass.My only wish was that the controls would light up to indicate what level the volume / bass is at in a dark room (some type of back-lighting to the control knob would be nice)The cables are big but not overkill. Volume is enough to piss off the neighbors and make me happy =)

I would reccomend this speaker system to anyone. I can't believe how much sound comes out of these small speakers! I love the convenience of the on/off, volume, and bass controls right on the right speaker too. If you are looking for a set of computer speakers, look no further! This is it!

these speakers are great, they are 200 watt, the cables are long enough to fit all around my desk, they sound awesome, they work and look great, sure they are a little expensive ( i am pretty cheep when it comes to sound) but they work and sound good. i bought some non Logitech brand, because i always buy Logitech and thought id mix it up a bit. they reminded me why i always buy Logitech.... i gave them away (didn't even want to try to resell them) and bought these. they are easy to set up, controls work great. they are awesome quality, solid, sturdy, you can feel it when you touch them.5 of 5 i would buy again and recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Big powerful sound from little speakers. The sound fills the living room. Excellent quality and value. the only thing I wish it had was a remote button so I could turn the sound up or down from the chair. Otherwise these speakers are fantastic.

I had some nice speaks and wonted some better ones at a price I could afford. Looking and reading about the Logitech Speaker System on the internet I felt the Speaker System Z623 would meet my needs. And they did.

The seller was good on his word because i received the package on time without the b.s.. Upon opening the Logitech z623 i notice they packaged it very well and the speakers are super legit. They in deed Are THX sound quality though i love the bass, i only wish the treble was more clear. All-in-all, shit super legit for the price. thanks 4 making my evening. haha

This speaker system arrived on time, securely and safely packed. I got it set up on the new computer system I was building for my wife and she fell in love with it right away. Unfortunately, after she had plugged her headphone/microphone into the right speaker's headphone jack one time, the jack never worked again. But here is where it gets really good.She contacted Logitech's customer service department and described the problem. They immediately emailed to her a link from which I could print out a prepaid UPS label for returning the whole system to them. Since we are tight on space around here, I had already broken down the original box and taken it to the recycling center. So I purchased another box, packed up the whole speaker system with everything that came with it, affixed the UPS label to the box, and dropped it off at a nearby UPS store.A week and a half later, a replacement speaker set (brand new) arrived from Logitech. I attached it to my wife's computer and it is working perfectly.Customer service doesn't get any better than that. The guys my wife spoke with were always friendly, helpful, courteous, and cheerful. Couple that with a great product like the Z623 and you've got something that just can't be beat.

I'm using this set for both my PC and the primary speakers for my TV. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sound is amazing. Besides the thundering lows, the mids and highs really shine and are never muddy sounding like in some 2.1 configurations. It's great for gaming, music and movies alike. I went back and forth trying to decide between this set and the Creative Gigaworks T40's which are pretty well reviewed but ultimately thought the lack of a dedicated subwoofer would make me regret that purchase. I haven't regretted buying this set for a moment. If you're a prospective buyer, and you should be, you can find this set for under a hundred dollars, occasionally. It's probably worth the extra 15 or 20, but for the cost-conscious, the price does seems to fluctuate.

This system is worth the money 100% if you like loud speakers and loud bass this is for you but dont turn the bass to high if you have neighbors that will complain because the bass will shake the floor and make lots of noice for the people under you.

By the time I had owned these for two hours, the sub-woofer started to cut out and the speakers would randomly emit static. Caused by the power button not staying in place. So I ordered a replacement. This time the left speaker didn't work. Luckily I was able to take take the left speaker from the original and the new right speaker (the power button is on the right). Two defective models. Wow. Other than that they sound great, I wish they got louder but I always wish my music was louder.

I had the Z523 system and upgraded to the Z623 system,what a difference! The sound is much more defined and the bassis excellent (no rattles or distortion).Great system for the $$$.

These speaker are hooked up to both my computer and Sony bravia at the same time. The quality of these speakers are absolutely amazing. so crisp and the bass is so plentiful!

This product is awesome. I ordered this product for my computer. I could have used longer cables but the product works great. The only complaint I have is that the product can not be returned even if the box wasn't opened.

Never had a chance to use them.. the seller offered to RMA them, but unfortunatelly I bought them during a quick trip to the US, so I could not make effective the RMA..I just wasted my money into nothing =/.Heard its a really good pair of speakers though

Simple and easy....the speakers are amazing! The sound great, look great, and have impressed everyone I showed them to. The one downside that's not about the speakers but windows 7 and Logitech is the controller. I had to download and install a separate controller for the system. It's simple and easy to do but maybe including a CD with the driver and GUI would be nice.

The reviews for this product were tough to filter and determine exactly how these speakers would perform. First, some background. I'm not an audiophile. I have no receiver and speakers on my TV, and I had a pair of almost 20 year old Boston Acoustics 2.1 speakers on my computer. They couldn't handle loud music, so I decided to upgrade to these Logitech speakers.Considering I paid near $100, these deliver impressive bass. It does have limits. Some songs will distort when played loud (near max volume). It doesn't even compare to my friends $3000 car stereo where the bass gave you a full tissue massage, but they aren't $3000. Others have said they are lacking in the midrange. Perhaps a bit, but it's still a great sound and the "missing" midrange is more a problem for audiophiles who shouldn't be buying such inexpensive speakers in the first place. I worried about this when purchasing, and my fears were unwarranted.Overall, my music is more enjoyable and the rich bass does provide another dimension that was missing. Music feels more real and live. Well worth the money.

Bough this for $100 during a sale. The sound on my flat screen was poor so I ran all the audio through this 2.1 system. The sound to the TV, Xbox, Wii and blue ray player brought the system to life.

I shoped around for quite awhile and i after comparing about 25 different systems. I decided to go with quality over quantity. These pump out 35 watts on each sat speaker and 130!!!!!!!!!! watts on the sub. I dj with this set and love it for house parties

I got a lot of input from people in the music scene regarding my options for new speakers. At first I was put off by the aesthetics of this system and believed the previous model Z2300 looked a lot better for my desktop.I am extremely pleased with the look and feel of these speakers in person, the pictures make it look like cheap plastic but these are solid speakers.My music taste is not mainstream so it was important to me that these performed well with Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Glitch Hop and other Electronic music..... As the title says, I am Impressed and extremely pleased with this purchase decision. I am not going to go into the specifics of the speakers as there are many reviews out there that already address this; but I wanted to add my 2 cents and tell whoever may read this - DO IT! These speakers are a solid investment.

This is the second warranty replacement speakers that have crapped out. Original speakers had loud hum. First set of replacement speakers was dead on arrival. Second set of speakers worked well for about a year. Now only the right speaker works. No left speaker or woofer. Last Logitech speakers I will ever buy. Either I am extremely unlucky or Logitech quality has gone to hell.

The Good:Reasonably priced, pretty good audio performance, extremely powerful output, subwoofer level is easily adjustable, THX certification.The not so Good:Sound could be a tad brighter. Hardwired cables are a pain to work with, no remote control. YUP I said it NO REMOTEEEEEEEEEEEE....Additional Comments"The subwoofer is huge, in every sense of the word. The behemoth measures 11.9 by 11.1 by 10.4 inches (HWD), and its output could rattle the paint off your walls. Luckily the bass knob, conveniently placed on the right speakerOverall, the Logitech Z623 Speaker System is a solid set of 2.1 speakers at an affordable price point. The satellite speakers are solid and well-designed, and the thick cables show no danger of suddenly breaking. The subwoofer is large and powerful for a setup in this class, and sure to please any gamer or action movie enthusiast.

So I love these speakers, I'm not going in depth because there are quite a few reviews on here that can tell you how great the audio is and everything, the only thing that frustrates me, is the cheapness of the power button, if you buy these, keep them on 24/7 or else you might not be able to turn them back on.
