Product was a good size for my computer desk. Has great clearity accross the board (highs, mids, and bass). Haven't ran into anything to complain about. Great speaker for price!

Decent to high in volume for the price, bass is excellent. The sub shakes the room it is in when it is turned up as well as some of the rest of my house. Great buy for the price. High and mid range audio is clear and loud as well. Would highly recommend.

if you are reading this, you are looking for computer speakers. please stop now and buy these. you will be blown away. for 125 bucks you can get real sound without having to use a steeo system. i down load live concerts via torrent files. so i dont want to move the files from my computer and re-format to listen to them. these speakers solved the problem. powerful and clean.

I spent the last month reading reviews, comparing speakers and I am SO PLEASED with these Z623's! I would recommend ordering them and start enjoying your music ... sharp and clear. I only listen to music, no gaming, and RHAPSODY playlists I have listened to for years suddenly sound fresh and bright. I highly recommend this system. I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so as I am enjoying this system that much! Go for it! You will be glad you did! Amazon's price was the best I found too! Such a deal!

I was looking for good computer speakers, but these are unbelievably great speakers , especially for the price, Crisp clear sound, the bass is outstanding. You need to purchase these if you are looking for great inexpensive sound system!!!! LOVE THEM

I'm a long-time audiophile using this with AirPort Express as my living area stereo. Excellent sound plus bass and volume control reachable on the right satellite speaker. Even outdid my beloved Harman Kardon Soundsticks III.

I used them for my laptop and mp3 player and the sound is great. I moved them to the new tv (while I wait on an av receiver and speakers) and they work perfect! I added a bluetooth adapter to stream sound to them from my cell phone, laptop, etc.., and overall I'm pleased with the quality and sound of these!

The most amazing about these speakers is bass; not too overpower.My old 5.1 Logitech speakers can't beat this one.However, the best performance is for gaming and movie in my opinion.

I was looking into purchasing a set of surround sound speakers for my computer to enhance my gaming experience, and although these Z623's are just a 2 in 1 system, they have totally satisfied and complimented my needs. My decision to purchase these speakers was done after much research and comparison. A 200W system for the money wasn't bad either.

The system is well built, cables are a little short but long enough for a desk setup. Sound is clean, and bass is well controlled with the separate volume. My son has the Klipsch 2.1's and the bass is a little overpowering at times, the Logitech's sound is smooth and pleasant but powerful too. Another great product, as I've come to expect from Logitech. Amazon delivered right on time, as always.

Pretty good product overall. I'll tell you this the amount of bass this thing puts out will surprise you. I had an old set of JBL speakers I was using with no sub, however when I hooked up they sounded better sounding than some other pretty expensive speaker sets I've listened to in the past (never owned). I recieved those JBL's for free (Senior VP at work was throwing them out), but I imagine they cost quite a bit when they were purchased. Now listening to some of the same music I've listened to before to compare I can't hear some of the mids I heard before (with the JBLs). However, the bass is obviously better, oh and on a side note the bass isn't muddled like that crap you'll hear in the kids cars. It's actually a pretty clear, smooth bass. High's I'd give a definite 4/5 almost excellent, but only very slightly lacking. Mid's 2/5 or 3/5 (needs some work, but not too bad), and base 4/5 (could be smoother, but overall pretty great.I'm pretty harsh in my judgement of products, and I'm by NO means an audiophile. I can't stand people who are ridicously picky with things that 99% of us won't even notice missing as far as sound goes. Just as a general rule I rate on the critical side, because I know that people will read this and will be making a buy decision based on this.With that being said I would highly recommend this speaker system, for the price I don't think you'll be able to beat it. I know I'm feeling zero remorse for my purchase!Have a good one.

Given, this is not a "true" THX sound system (it is merely THX certified from a production standpoint). At the same time, I'm more than impressed by the quality of these Z623s at this pricepoint--if you leave the bass alone (middle setting), you get a pretty sweet, flat response. If you're a basshead, crank it up to 75% or more, and the sub will punch you in the chest (I tested its movie capabilities with "Iron Man.")I'm not much of an audiophile, but from what I've experienced so far, I'd say that what you get in bass is traded off with a bit of a downgrade in other areas--for example, highs seem a bit more muted. There's not much in distortion or muffling, but it just doesn't register with as much force as the lows do on this system.Besides sound itself, the build is sturdy and user friendly--the right speaker has an input jack, as does the sub, so you don't have to worry about jumping back and forth. I do feel the right speaker cable is a tad bit thick and hard to manuever (the speaker bottom grips won't hold if the cable doesn't allow for it), but other than that, I haven't much else I find deficient in this great product!

They actually sound excellent but there is a slight hissing sound when it's on, even without any kind of connection to the computer. That caused me to give it a 4 star instead of 5. I'm fed up with the stupid speaker sets which are hissing... This set's hissing is not that much though, not a big deal, but still...

I have owned a number of systems over the years. I became an audiophile when in Japan back when you could buy Japanese audio for a very good price. This system is excellent at any price. I use it with my flat screen TV and it turns it into a movie theater. I like the adjustments on the right speaker and you can use it stand alone with an mp3 player or cell phone. These speakers are worth far more than the price.A word about Amazon service. I originally bought these speakers refurbished. When they arrived in the original box not packed correctly I knew I had made a mistake. The seller did not agree to pay for return shipping even though the original speakers were damaged. I'm not sure if they were damaged when shipped or damaged in shipping (this is why I am not naming the original seller). Either way it should not have been my problem. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a $30 credit to cover the cost of shipping . When I received the refund I bought them new and received the $30 credit off the price. Six stars for Amazon. All American business should be this good.

I have had these speakers for over a year now and I am happy with this purchase. These speakers work well and are well made and durable. I have dropped one on the floor a couple of times and it still works fine with no noticeable problems. The one negative thing I can say is that they could use a notch or two more volume and it seems like they should have been made that way.

for the money, these speakers are great. I connected one to an Airport Express and connected it to my network so I can control from my iphone/ipad. Easy setup, sound is good and it can get loud without distorting if desired.

So yeah, after just over a month of use, the two of the plugs into the sub are shorting out and the on/off switch is shorting out. Of course, as Murphy's Law would have it, this would happen right after the Amazon return window closed. I see plenty of other people have had similar experiences. So buyers BEWARE! Evidently logitech does shotty work, heck, creating electrical connections that can't handle the slightest vibration is well, unwise when the connections are into a sub woofer. It is sad how hard it is to find anything of quality these days :(As far as the sound quality, it was decent. But I found I always wanted to turn it up, I live in a little studio apartment and even while sitting right in front of them at the computer, they left something to be desired.

The other reviews don't lie, these are fantastic speakers. I bought them to replace a pair of M Audio AV40's that I had for four years. They were blown and didn't last as long as I'd hoped. The bass from the subwoofer in the Logitech speakers are amazing. The separate bass control on the right speaker is great. I had to tone it down because it was shaking the walls of my office. These are much better than the M Audio speakers and cheaper. Since the bass is provided by a sub, hopefully these speakers will last longer than the M Audio speakers.

they can make speakers with this kind of sound for $99. I avoid products made in China if at all possible,I think we've given in and realize that except for super high end stuff, that's where it's going to be made.I've paid $3 for a speaker, and over $3,000 for a home speaker....this $99 is the best money I've spent in a while.If they'd been $199 I'd be just as happy. My understanding is that the nearest competitor is in the $500 range.BUY THESE.

Sound is great if there is no problem.My own experience: Quality is poor after few months. There was a lot of electrical nosies from the speaker when u press the on/off button.Also some times I can hear noise while it is playing music. I don't think it is music its own problem.Beware to purchase this speaker. May be it 's just my bad luck. As myself, I do like most of logitech products my used speakers were logitech too and worked perfectly for at least 6 years , now it is still working good.

This system replaced my Cambridge Sound Works I bought over 15 years ago. Its pretty close, but I was spoiloed. The bass is deep, rich and booming, mid-range is a little off, but other than that . .I like the controls for the volume and bass on the desk speaker: a trebbile control would have been nice.Logitech could have made the speaker wires a little longer. I had to buy extensions for each.For the 99$ i spent, I am well satisified.

I was looking for speakers that would enhance my laptop sound and give me better TV sound. These did it better than I thought.They were quite inexpensive. I like that they even have a jack for headphones or earbuds.They were shipped in perfect condition and got here really fast. Great service!

I purchased this speaker set in March of 2012. As of September 2012 there is no audio coming out of theright speaker. I checked my PC to make sure the problem was not in my Desktop PC.IT'S THE FRICKEN SPEAKER!I did read some negative reviews here before I purchased these speakers some even resembled the problemI'm having now. BUT I took the chance. NOW, I'm looking for new speakers and subwoofer because of one defective speaker.So, if you're looking for about six months of listening pleasure - then these speakers are for you. Thanks Logitech - you'll get no more of my money.

First, these speakers sound great, however, this product is not 110-220 Volt compatible. Despite doing some pretty lengthy (2 hours) worth of research I didn't find any information regarding voltage requirements. As I live overseas (Italy) I had seen these on store shelves but decided to buy from Amazon for the cost savings. Made the natural assumption that they would be 110-220V compatible WRONG! What I received is 110-120V, 60 Hz, only. I'm still using them with a transformer (which does nothing for Hz). I'm assuming that there is a European version but like I mentioned before none of the research I did (Amazon or Logitech websites) yielded any information on voltage requirements - just thought I would let others know.

These speakers produce a heavy bass with highs that match in clarity. They can really blast out some sound too when you want to turn them up. I don't think anyone will have major regrets in purchasing the z623's.

After a few months of use, I can honestly say theses are very good speakers for the ~$100 cost. The key sticking points for the product are: where to put the subwoofer and the lack of sturdiness of the power switch. My computer table has a small shelf underneath desk surface, so I'm able to get the subwoofer off the floor, but in between the speakers. As for the power swtich, don't bang at it and I'm sure it will serve for many years.

These Logitech Speakers are incredible! For a 3 speaker system, they really pack a punch. I was considering going with Bose but after reading reviews and finally purchasing this set, I would never look back. They are WAY more affordable than Bose and give you just as good of a sound. Very professional looking also.

Arrived quickly and on time. Super easy to set up.The quality of the bass and speakers is incredible, you're really getting a bang for your buck.The design doesn't look cheap like a lot of speaker systems out there. Once you use it for the first days or even weeks, you will sometimes smell burning plastic if your turn it up louder than usual, this smell goes away quickly.Also, if you turn it up loud, the quality of the sound does get a bit distorted, but it's still pretty clear.If your ears are like mine, a bit sensitive though they've be exposed to loud sound a lot, then these speakers can just about make your ears bleed. They are LOUD. My whole house was shaking and trembling and I didn't even have them on full volume.The controls are pretty simple, nothing fancy, just two knobs for volume and bass.I did sometimes have problems with the cords being too short. I didn't want to use an extensions cord because it would just clutter my already wired room.Bottom line: If you are on a budget, or just want a pretty neat system for some great sound, this is definitely your go-to choice. I've had this system for months now and I never regret buying it out of the others.

These are used as my primary computer speakers and overall I'd give them a 4.5 out of 5.0.The low end (bass) is tight, crisp and very good.The highs (treble) are decent and clear, but the mid-range seems to be lacking.I wasn't expecting professional quality sound from a ~$100 set of 2.1 speakers, so I'm still going to rate them 5 stars.These will work very good for a computer setup or even just a music system.
