I bought this webcam because its a famous brand and ive heard good feebacks about this specific model. at first i thought the cam was great,the colors are pretty good actually and not many webcams have zoom,which is nice. but the main problem is it gets blurry when you zoom in,even just a little bit! that is very frustrating! i dont know what the reason is but the only thing that helps to unblurry it is to bring a hand or anything else really close to the cam for 3-5 seconds,thats very uncomfortable. so if i use it for 6 hours straight it gets blurry about five time during that time,especially when i leave the cam on and leave the room. many of my friends use this webcam and i never heard of that problem before. so i'm not sure if the problem in my cam or all cams from this seller. so i would not recommend it

Perfect video chat for my media center PC connected to my HDTV. I'm frequent to Logitech products and they always make installation was a breeze and have never ran into any problems.Came with Logitech video chat software, which I wouldn't recommend installing, mainly because I consider it unnecessary bloatware. I'd actually intended on using it for Skype, which connected to it seamlessly.Overall I'm incredibly satisfied with the product. I purchased the Logitech Revue + TV cam for someone and was actually dissatisfied with the size of it. The C910 is time and unnoticeable compared the one that came with the Revue, which a definite plus in my book.My only complaint is that it's a short cable, which is easily solved with the "AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to A-Female Extension Cable (3.3 Feet/1.0 Meter)"(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TH7GV4/ref=oh_o00_slice_i00_details).

It looks like a great webcam, but it does not work with Mac OS X 10.4.11 -- although as of April 9, 2012, TechNGnet's Amazon page for this item says that it does.If like me, you buy this item in good faith, you will be twice disappointed -- first when it won't install correctly on OS X 10.4.11 and second when you have to eat the shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee when you return it.I will never order from TechNGnet again.Amazon itself is now selling this webcam directly as of today. I wish Amazon itself had offered it directly when I ordered this two weeks ago.

Length:: 4:22 MinsIn short: It's a great camera but poor software support for Mac.Huge step up from the webcam of my macbook pro, but I couldn't find a software that does all I need: Maximum resolution with some controls over the image such as contrast, brightness, etc...Overall still very impressed with the image quality for the price

I am using this webcam for about 5 months. The video and audio quality are very good. I use Skype and the webcam for a music class. My music instructor always says me that the quality of video and audio is awesome. There was any problem for connectivity and etc. I recommend it to you.

I purchased this camera to use on my Mac. It's primary use is for Facetime with my MBP, as well as my mine and my wife's iPhones. It's a nice, solid unit, and installation was nearly a breeze. I will note that the software on the CD is outdated, and you'll need to download the new software from the Logitech website. Not a bid deal, but it is something you'll need to do.Only a couple of small things I don't care much for, but they're not deal breakers:1) The camera isn't all that great in low light settings. Of course, I didn't expect it to be, so it's not that bad.2) Not a big fan of how it just sits on top of the monitor, with nothing holding it in place. If you bump into it, it'll fall off the monitor.Overall, I'm pleased with it.UPDATE:I was so pleased with how this camera works, I ended up buying a second one to use on my Mac at work.

This is a neat, compact, yet powerful webcam. It has a sharp image quality under decent light and even function better than expected in low light. Zeiss Lens makes this possible, and as a photographer, I wouldn't expect less from Zeiss. In normal lit condition / daytime, it is phenomenal. I haven't recorded a full length video with it, but I have tested the recording feature and tried a short clip. The image looked sharp and the sound quality was crisp and clear. Taking pictures with it works well for a webcam. As a photographer, I do have higher than average expectation for image quality, but for a webcam, I don't usually do much artistic / editing work with these pictures so it works just great for me. It comes with Logitech's standard "RightLight/RightSound" technology, which does make the color and image looks true to life and the sound to be clear and realistic. The sound is crisp and clear as mentioned and even for international travel. I was using it while in Southeast Asia and my friends and family in the US could hear me perfectly well, even in a very, very, crowded and noisy area. I'm quite impressed with it. It has two large speakers on the right and left side and an apparently sensitive microphone that can pick up your voice and transmit it wonderfully. I did not experience a "echo/delay" when using the microphone on this webcam, which is also impressive. The price was very good, cheap and affordable. With Amazon's Prime Shipping for members and with an extra technology discount coupon I got this for about $69, which was a steal. I like the flat screen design and it's fairly light and compact, it fits pretty well on my laptop or other desktops I have around my house. The blue light that turns on when it's activated looks great. Overall the look is very suave, and handsome. I compliments my laptop and other devices I have around, which are also black. The only feature (which is asking for more) I'd like to see on it is a 360 rotation which you see on the Logitech's Orbit models, which can spin around in 360 degrees. Although this C910 does not have that, it does have face detection and zoom features and works quite well, so long as you stay with the frame of the camera's view. Overall, this was a great buy, a great product, and have not failed me!! I'm impressed!

We purchased the video camera for a trade show to have an interactive video chat with our studio several states away. The camera was able to provide great footage of the show floor, and worked very well for the entire show. It was also relatively small. People who were in front of our booth rarely noticed there was a camera attached to the monitor - very unobtrusive. I would definitely purchase it again if I needed another camera.It was always very simple and easy to use. I have not had much experience with other cameras, but it took about a minute to set up on the monitor and plug in.

I already have one of these. I bought another so I could shoot 3D video using two cams and free DVD Videosoft software. The only thing I don't like about them is there doesn't seem to be a way to shut off the background color autocorrect, so I can't use them to shoot with a green screen. It tries to correct for the green background and turns the human neon orange.If there was a way to disable that, it would be perfect.

I'm 52, and not in front of the technology. I have the computer feeding the big screen through an HDMI cable. This is nice for slide shows, Netflix, Youtube for everyone. Needed to skype the kids at college (help with Physics) and found out that all that was needed was a web cam. Checked out some reviews and purchased the Logitech HD Pro C910. Simple installation and works great. Kids liked the picture and the microphone is crazy sensitive. Just placed it on the top of the big screen and they see the whole room. I can highly recommend the product.

Length:: 1:18 MinsInstallation was a breeze, it took less than 3 minutes to install. I am using it in a Windows 7 OS 64-bit environment. Unlike most webcam installations, this one was up and running in no time. It has a user-friendly and a very easy to navigate interface/menu. High Definition is pretty much the norm for resolution qualities now-a-days. The Logitech C910 I consider is the "high-end" webcam for the average user. The webacm sits on my 23 widescreen monitor, it balances perfectly on my monitor even though it does not have a clip. However, this might not work so well with laptops.5 MP HD sensor takes crystal clear snapshots using 10 mega pixels (software enhanced), not even my digital camera is that high in mega pixels. The webcam is not as high quality using it on video chat (HD 720p), but it still beats the other webcam I was using before. I really don't think I will be using the video recorder feature often since I really can't see a need to record myself sitting in front of my desktop but I decided to try it anyways. When I tested the picture quality recording a video, it was clear (HD 1080p) and the sound was superb. Check out the attached video review for yourself (please disregard my Spanglish accent). The videos are saved in .wmv format. The widescreen lens allows a wider camera view compared to the average "square box" - so much more fits in the camera's view. The LightRight 2 technology automatically adjust the lighting conditions in the camera's view, no need to be fusing around with the settings.It offers a 60-day trial of Logitech FastAccess facial recognition software. You can subscribe for this service that offers facial recognition to access Internet banking, email, etc without the hassle of remembering all your passwords. It can also lock your system to avoid use from unauthorized individuals.Another awesome fun feature is the Logitech Video Effects. You can use Avatars that will follow your movements and mimic your speech as you chat with your friends. Add face accessories and masks to snapshots or video chat. Distort your image by adding visual video affects like stretching your face, big buggy eyes or distorting the color. There are tons of features to choose from and you can even download additional avatars and accessories direct from Logitech free of charge.The webcam even offers a motion sensor feature that you can set up to record with a date and time stamp when there is any movement in front of the camera.Overall great webcam. Major improvement to the Logitech QuickCam Pro I was using before. The Logitech Quickcam Pro offered most of the features listed on the C910, but now I have HD widescreen quality with vivid colors and superb resolution.

I bought this camera to keep in touch with friends and family, and I absolutely love it! They are always telling me how clear and fluid the picture is, and the follow-your-face feature is really neat. I don't know what else to say about it. I've had it for maybe 6 months now, and I just love it. Everyone I talk to with it is jealous! I honestly didn't expect the quality to be as good as it is, but I should have. My husband and I have been using Logitech products for years for their quality. Great buy for the price!

I needed a nice webcam to upgrade the built-in one on my new laptop (which stunk). At first I was a bit put off on this webcam based on reviews about its poorly designed stand, with many people saying that it wouldn't work well if at all on a laptop. Now, my laptop screen is very thin, not as thin as say a macbook air, but pretty darn thin so I was a bit worried about these complaints, however the webcam looked really good so I figured I'd just take the chance.As it turns out, the webcam stand is much better than I had been reading. It's not absolutely perfect, but I can attach it to the top of my laptop with it sitting on my lap, I can move my laptop around fairly well without fear of it falling of, and in general it just feels well-secured for any rational position a laptop might be in while it is being used. I think much of the complaints about the stand come from people improperly securing it. At first, I thought the laptop edge was supposed to be secured between the small gap between the camera head and the beam attached to it, but as it turns out it doesn't, which means the webcam head sticks out about a good inch forward but that's perfectly fine, because this allows you to adjust the webcam head up or down based on your necessary viewing angle. Fits very well as long as you aren't doing kartwheels. I could see how this might jiggle slightly and distort your image if you are driving in a bumpy car or train, but otherwise it seems fine.PROS+ Lightweight software (isn't a bloat fest)+ Awesome recording quality+ Pretty lag-free webcam performance+ Mic quality is an upgrade over most built-in laptop microphones+ Better stand than being projected by some reviewsCONS- Doesn't have a viewing shield that you can slide open and closed for extra security while you aren't using your webcam, as I think all webcams today should integrate. However, I just unplug it from the USB when it's not being used and the problem is solved.

I'm a freelancer that meets and communicates with the majority of my clients via Skype, so it's important that my audio input is clear. While voice-only communication is good enough for me, some of my clients use their webcams, and in those instances it seemed courteous to use my own. And, since they are my clients, I wanted the video to look good.The C910 has the best video I have ever seen in a webcam. You've almost got to see it to believe it. The clarity and detail are on par with a point-and-shoot digital camera, and the Auto-focus, RightLight, and "Follow my face" features are all very cool.Is it worth the premium price tag? It really depends on what you're using it for. If it was just video calls with friends and family, I probably would have gone with the lowest priced webcam. If you're looking for a webcam for work, you can't go wrong with the C910.

This camera takes VERY good picture. I've used it with Logitech's proprietary chat program, with Skype, and I've used it to just take pictures and videos at home. It works very well in either setting. The only limitation that I've found is that the internet connection where my husband is stationed is really slow, but that's not the fault of the camera. I took it off of my desktop and put it on my laptop so I could chat from elsewhere, and the laptop was ok with it, even though it had its own webcam. I just had to tell it which one to use and I was able to use Dell's software to control this camera. Best camera on the market in 2/2012, in my opinion.

We bought this camera for my wife's mom to keep in touch with her grandkids via Skype. The camera arrived quickly, with no issues during delivery. We installed the camera on a computer running Windows Vista; there were no issues during the camera install. After the install, Skype quickly recognized the camera, and we were conducting test video calls in less than 15 minutes after opening the box.The camera sits nicely on top of a normal flat screen monitor. The camera itself has a low profile, as compared to the ball-style cameras that stick up above the monitor. The speakers, microphone, and video quality have been excellent. Overall, very pleased (and envious) of the video & sound quality, as our older Logitech camera does a decent job, but not nearly as good as the C910.

I had initially bought it to use in my photo booth and was surprised at its ease of use and quality. The only issues were some blurred images on still photos and a clumsy attachment feature. I ended up getting a dslr camera for the photo booth as it served my purposes better. My fault was expecting the moon from an industry than can only deliver much less. That is no knock on this webcam though. It far exceeded my expectations as a webcam. I now use it as my primary camera for Skype. I believe Logitech is moving in the right direction.

Excellent sound and image quality and works well on a Mac for Facetime or Skype. Amazing quality when my wife is skyping me from home with fast Wifi and I'm connected to her with my 4G LTE Verizon ipad!!The only thing is, sometimes the camera seems asleep when starting a Skype Video Chat. Clicking on the "Camera off" button on the skype screen, and turning the camera on again by clicking on "Camera On" (or show video) will allow the camera to "wake up" and work very well.

I purchased this cam because Logitech's web page demonstrated it was high resolution and indicated the dual microphones would be of higher quality than my separate single microphone setup. It seems work pretty well, offers a clear picture at all resolutions, and friends say the Google chats are clearer than before using the built in mic. The only thing to note that I don't particularly like is that the product picture makes it seem as if there is a goose-neck adjustability on the cam, when in fact it is a weighted foot; the camera sits flush against the front of your monitor (e.g. clips the top) such that it then only moves up and down at the pivot behind the head unit. No left to right adjustment; although the field of view is usually wide enough.

My first web cam so I cannot compare it to others but it seems to do just what I wanted it to do. I use it for Skype. Other reviewers seemed to have a problem with this function, but it works fine for me. However when I first installed it on an older laptop, it slowed the computer down and made it take a long time to load programs and the people I talked with on Skype said the picture was blurry. I thought it just might be that the computer I used it with was a bit out dated, so I installed the camera on a newer computer and it works very well. The picture is crystal clear and people say the sound is very good. I have not found anyone who uses the Logitech video chat software yet to try out that format but I am satisfied with the webcam's performance on the Skype platform.

The camera arrived in the time specified. The condition was perfect and NIB. It works great with no complaints at all. I like the blue lights to let you know when the camera is on.

This camera is amazing. I have a mid 2010 MacBook Pro that of course comes with a cam, but decided to try out the HD. I don't even bother using my built in cam anymore because the quality on this is stunning. I'm so glad I made the purchase!

The camera came on time from Amazon.co.uk to mainland Europe.Software was easy to install and works fine. Although as I am in the Netherlands it installed in Dutch which is anoying from Logitech as I had no choice at install to choose another language such as English.You can definately tell a major quality difference between it and say a built in notebook camera.In fact purchased the same one for my mother so she can Skype us and our kids.Price was reasonable at the time.
