I've been using this camera for about 2 months now and I must say that it is the best webcam I've used so far. Small form design, great for laptops or over the monitor, great Resolution on Images & Video, and i was happy to see an option to save HD video as "uncompressed video (raw)". I would highly recommend.(note: it only gets 4 stars simply because i don't think any product is ever a perfect 5 stars. everything can always get better :)

Great webcam; just plug into your computer and you are ready to go. No additonal software installation. The image quality is very good, and the webcam is easily adjustable and sits on top of the computer screen solid. Overall, could not be happier.

Love this thing.Only downside is the software takes time to compress after recording the 1080p.The audio source only takes one channel. When I tried to use with my m-audio fast track pro I could not get both mic and instrument to work in it. Had to record audio outside with other tools and combine video and audio in movie maker.(the mic on the thing is solid too, I just don't use it)

I purchased this item so that we can "SKYPE" with my parents when they moved to Florida for the winter, my children can now chat with Grandma and Grandpa. It arrived and was very easy to install, and does what we expected it to do. I downloaded Skype and it linked right up without a hitch. I've never owned a cam before and consider myself somewhat tech savy and it was all seamless. The video chat software that it came with seems fine but I don't use it and choose Skype instead.One complaint is the way it attaches to the monitor is kind of flimsy so it constantly has to be adjusted.

I Skype and iChat occasionally and have not been impressed with my crappy built-in webcam (new Macbook Pro HD webcam looks awesome, though). So I researched to try to find the best HD webcam for the lowest amount of dollars and this Logitech C910 was the ticket. The Amazon specs doesn't have this listed as Mac compatible, but it will work perfectly with a Mac as long as you download the Mac drivers from the Logitech website.I also had this crazy idea that maybe I could use this webcam as a filmmaking camera, but iMovie doesn't read the webcam!!! Nor does Final Cut Pro. Dang! The only way you can record full 1080p video is if you download Logitech's software. So if you want to make really quick HD videos going directly to disk and not have to import or transcode footage, this is your new tool.Here are my pros/cons list:PROs1. instant connection to Skype, iChat, Photobooth right out of the box2. captures full 1080p video using Logitech's software3. sound is crystal clear, great audio4. under $100, I bought it with a rebate for around $60-ish5. very sturdy build quality6. best webcam lens - extremely clear7. great in low-light (for a webcam)CONs1. all webchatting is 4x3, not full HD (has more to do with your bandwidth)2. no connection to iMovie or Final Cut Pro.3. Logitech's software has no manual controls, so when you record, you have no control over exposure, white balance, etc. and after you capture 1080p, it automatically compresses it to a web-friendly size. Basically, you'll never get full 1080p out of it.4. would have liked to see a built-in mic input and/or headphone jack.5. no audio controls

Could use a longer clip on part,but that's my only gripe.Other than that I am Pleased how well it works and the quality of the picture.

I purchased the C910 webcam on Friday and found it for $49 at Sam's the following day.I figured that I would return it unopened to Amazon, and let them know their price was not the best.Then I found out they were going to charge me close to $10 to return it saying, "The problem was not their fault."Oh, I guess that it's my fault I found the same product nearby priced 20% lower....I was at fault to think I could get the best price from them.They don't guarantee the best price.Well, I'll just have to smarten up and purchase items from other than Amazon.Sorry, my fault.

I bought this primarily for video blogs and it works great. The audio and video quality is excellent. It also does its job of performing in low light settings. I tried using this with skype and my video kept "freezing" I wondered if it had to do something with the 1080p video...so I udjusted my video settings and I haven't had problems with it.Bottom line if you want the best quality buy this, but if you just want to skype with Grandma you might go with a cheaper logitech webcam.

This webcam has been great for the last two years, great picture quality, great microphone, and Logitech keeps updating the software. I own many Logitech products and all of them are great, this was not exception. Cannot think of anything negative about it, just thinking about upgrading to the latest one, the C920.

camera works off a usb2 port with great results. has decreased transmission lag and improved image overallbuilt in microphone very clear, as are the speakers.simple plug and play install. very convenient

I own a Mackbook with built in iSight. The quality was so poor I had to find something better. This camera runs circles around the one on my Macbook. I love it and would highly recommend it.

I have a Mac Pro thus I don't have a built in webcam. I used the C910 to replace a HP KQ246AA. The Logitech had much better image quality and low light performance than the HP. Field of view improved as well. I didn't install the included software. Worked well with the Facetime app and iChat. I tried it with Snow Leopard and Lion without any issues.

This web cam preforms better than my previous web cam (a nominal 640x480) but at infinity-focus, the still images are way too soft.I purchased this for an exterior-pointed web cam (infinity focus) and after some testing, I cannot determine if the soft images are due to a focus problem or if this camera really doesn't use 1920x1080 pixels but rather interpolates from a smaller pixel sample. I tried manually focusing the camera with the software driver, but that didn't improve the image.So, if you plan to use this to take images/video at infinity, you may want to do more research before purchasing.I did have some trouble with the software on an older Vista machine we use for a web-cam server, but the driver running the camera itself seems to work fine (I use yawcam as a web-cam publisher). On a newer Windows 7 x64 machine, the software installed and ran fine. I haven't evaluated the audio at all.UPDATE:It seems that Logitech chose to dump a bunch of their bad webcams at my local Costco at a slight discount. After buying two that had the same problem, I contacted Logitech and they replaced one of the models. The model they sent as a replacement works MUCH BETTER (different box design), but there are still some soft focus spots to the sides of the image (at infinity focus). I'll keep it (returned the other webcam to Costco), but I'm keeping my 2-star rating for Logitech's conniving plot to dump their bad cameras on poor consumers that my not know better, otherwise, it should get 4 stars.

I ordered this webcam because it was one of the few that works on a Mac. I have a MacMini that doesn't have a built-in webcam.This Logitech webcam works just fine. I use it mostly as a mic by covering the camera opening, but the camera/video function is excellent as well.

This is a very fine unit. I am a new Skype user and use the webcam as part of international and domestic business calls. We are a UK-based firm of commercial aircraft brokers. We now use Skype for internal conference calls connecting the various offices around the world. The Logitech unit operating software was very easy to download and quite intuitive to operate. The images are very clear and the built-in speakers and microphone work flawlessly. I highly recommend this product. Very good value for the money.

This webcam is everything it was said to be and more. It has very clear and most natural pictures. All of the funtions are great and the software is very good as well. You can take still pictures as well and you can edit all pictures also, ETC. Best price I have seen from Amazon as well.

This webcam has exceeded my expectations, by far. As advertised, it was a "piece of cake" to install and the qualities of the video and audio are outstanding. There are many more features available than I will ever use. I do video conferencing and it is perfect for me. Tha auto-focusing is especially helpful when you hold up a document or equipment for the viewer to examine. Purchasing and delivery through Amazon was like a "hot knife through butter". This is truly a 5 star purchase.

This is the first review I have ever written, but my experience was frustrating enough that I had to post a review. The webcam was easy to set up and easy to use, but the software is terrible. The video froze about 9 out of 10 times and would stop recording without indicating that it had stopped. Nothing quite so frustrating as recording a video and having a great take, then play the video back and it stopped recording halfway through. Happened over and over. I installed software updates, changed recording configurations in every way I could, used external drives, internals drives, etc, but nothing stabilized the software. Very disappointing, too, because the picture quality was great. But what good is a great quality picture if the video stops in the middle?! I will definitely return this product!

This is a major upgrade from my old Quickcam zoom. If I recall that one costed me 80 dollars or more. Let's just say this is a steal. It's probably the best for its price around. It looks great, and also comes with some pretty cool effects straight out of the box (you can buy more if you want). What you see is what you get, honestly. It can do recording in 1080p, take 10mp pictures, and you can have 720p video calls. This thing will keep me busy for a while. Even in a poorly lit room it seems to do just fine. If you want to upgrade your webcam while not burning a hole in your pocket, this is the webcam for you.

Since purchasing the logitech hd pro webcam 910 we have used it 4 or 5 times.Iam not satified with the picture quality of this web cam.I was expecting a better picture from a hd webcam of this cost.The sound is fine but the picture is fuzzy most all the time.I think i could have gotten just as good a picture from a less expensive webcam.We are using it with new laptops and high speed internet connections so that is not the problem.This is my first experience with webcams,i like the concept but was expecting better quality.

I purchased this webcam so that I could use it with my Panasonic BluRay player as many blogs attested that it would be a good replacement for the Panasonic cam, which was considerably dearer at the time.Well in short - it didn't work with the Panasonic player and it can be difficult to get it work on different IM sites if you are using a MacBook or MacBook Pro.When it does work it works very well, I have used it on Skype and it is great - it has excellent quality in both video and sound.

This webcam is a life saver. My kids are in India, and my wife and i wanted to see them everyday from USA. I had communication deluxe webcam from Logitech before this and picture was so blurry. We could never see their faces. The I bought this one for us and also sent one back home. It made the difference of day and night,now we can see each other like we are sitting right next to each other. It's wonderful how technology touches our lives. Sitting 15,000 miles away, i can see everything and interact with them. I don't have homesickness anymore. I don't miss my family anymore. This is wonderful and amazing.I don't remember how much i paid for this, but this experience is PRICELESS. The only problem i have faced is night vision. The picture is not as clear as in the daytime.

I have never written a review before, but this device is so satisfying that I had to.My first impression was the price, I looked at it and compare to what other high rating Logitech Webcam's are priced at, this was considered high! I gave it second thought twice, but after the price dropped about $10, I purchased it. I thought I would regret spending the money on this, but after so many days of use I'm more than pleased to say that this is one of my worthiest purchased of all time!!! I'm starting to use Video Chatting on Google Hangout, Skype, Google Chat..etc. And this is just a sensation!! Having the other side viewing you at 720p and auto corrects light & sound constantly and also auto-focusing the camera while you are talking to your friends is effortless and amazing. I highly recommend buying this! You will not be disappointed.The Logitech included software is also decently useful.Recommended.

The camera itself is great. But using it for a mac is a real pain. You have to use their software and it's got lots of issues, as if built for OSX as an afterthought. Would recommend the camera if you're willing to put up with that or have a PC. Otherwise, find one that's built to be Mac compatible.
