This camera worked OK for a while, all of sudden it crashes my Fujitsu computer whenever it is connected to computer. Called logitec with no answer.

I am so pleased with the webcam that I have purchased one for my brother, I have been able to talk with my grandson and great grandson in Germany thanks to the Logitech webcam. Very very happy with it. Amazon, you did a great job.

Crystal clear no problems.. Love the blue glow it gives when its on and easy to move. Wish it had more options for Mac. If you want a great HD webcam this is the one to get!

excellent webcam, except that my facebook uploads will not play. I have vista 32.Their customer service ended up putting the blame on facebook or me trying to upload in the wrong format or too long a clip. Except that previous videos i had made in the same format with another video camera play fine on facebook. Also their service never read my mail correctly and gave me advice that did not fit my problem at all. like telling me my videos were in the wrong format or too long when that was not the issue at all. the clips i uploaded were a few seconds long in the wmv format. they played on youtube, or on facebook after processing through windows live movie maker but never directly from logitech software or hard disc. Very frustrating. I gave up.

When I think of webcams, Logitech has always come to mind, but not always in a good way. I've had several different webcams, most from Logitech, and always found the video / color really horrible, not to mention problems with software. I had a pretty low opionion of this company and their products some years ago. However, that has changed.We got a bunch of HD 9000 Pro webcams at the office to conference with our new staff in India, and I found the picture to be very brialliant. So much so, I bought one for my home, and it worked flawlessly. I was very surprised by the advances made in both the hardware and the software.Then, I saw the c910. I knew I had to have it. I'm not a video chatter, I mostly like to make videos and snaphots to send to my sister and the kids who live 1000 miles away. I was totally blown away by the full HD full motion video put out by this camera.Lighting has always been a problem with webcams for me. Not this little beauty (nor the 9000 HD pro, for that matter). I have now relegated the 9000 HD pro to my laptop, and use the C910 for my "big box".I really must say I am amazed at how well the software works, and I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. The software works very well on both my laptop and desktop computers. The only thing lacking is a sharpness setting. The videos are a bit too sharp in my opinion. The auto picture and smart sound setting work just fine.The 1080p HD videos look stunning on my HD Plasma screen. I've got 50 Down/ 5 Up cable internet, so I'm sure if I ever decide to get into video chat or conferencing, this camera will work like a charm.The camera picks up my voice very clearly, and the dual stereo mics add a nice ambience to the audio in my videos.I have really changed the way I think about Logitech products thanks to this and the 9000 HD Pro webcams. Keep up the good work, Logitech.

I received this cam in the mail on 1/3/12. After only 2 days of use I am so pleased with this purchase! Crystal clear video and sound! You can even WHISPER and be heard by the viewer(s)! HD pics and vids. The only problem I have had with this cam is that it freezes a bit when you have too many windows open. Also if you have Skype and Yahoo Messenger open simultaneously or if someone logs on or off YIM it freezes. But if you can live with that, it is an awesome cam for $62 after the instant discount I received for signing up for a credit card. Anyway, ORDER THIS CAM ASAP! I think you will be abundantly pleased with it!

Video is really nice and connects to the Mac mini well. great picture quality and it rests well on the monitor. A great solution if you do not have an iSight camera or built-in camera on your mac.

I just bought this from Amazon for $49.00 and ordered a 2 meter extension cord ($5.50) cuz the darn cords are all 5' and about 2 or 3 feet short unless your screen is setting on top of the computer,,, which most don't anymore. I am really looking forward to getting this, its my first web-cam and I am looking forward to using skype or something similar. I have rated this a 5 star,,, but will re-rate after I get the web-cam and use it for a couple of weeks.....Price was fair I think,,, free shipping and no tax helps a lot. I guess Sam's sells it for $49.00 also, but add the 8% tax and it drives it up a bit. Happy New Year to all.

Takes great still pics, but slows down my computer taking videos. The software is good and gives you lots of options to work with. I can only give it a 4 star rating due to the holder (clamp) to hold it on my laptop. Real flimsy. It would be much better if it was more like a clamp or even a clothespin.

I bought a Logitech 900 (not from Amazon) only to discover that it is NOT compatible with a Mac. So I consigned the 9000 to a Windows device, and bought from Amazon a 910 which claims to be Mac compatible. Well, it is, but only barely. You can plug in the too-short USB cable (a few inches shorter than the 900 cord) and you will indeed see a picture. The bundled software is Windows-only, but if you look hard enough on the Logitech website you can find and download Mac software. It is a highly truncated version of the Windows software, with no mechanism for face recognition, panning and tilting, zooming, or other features advertised. By the way, the lens is so wide-angle that zooming, even digital zooming, is an essential feature if you want your face to be recognized.No way around it, I feel cheated. Not by Amazon but by Logitech. By the way, the Logitech website is self-consciously "with it," advertising "how to" video pages, some of which do not include videos; worse, some claimed tutorials are merely self-regarding touchy-feely videos of ecstatic Logitech customers, just like you and me only much happier; with no explanation of how the product works; how it allegedly works, I mean.Featureless as the Mac version is, the picture is beautiful, and the twin mics--if you can figure out how to access them--are excellent. If only the thing were truly Mac compatible, with the features that are advertised and no doubt actually available on the Windows version, I would be very happy.

Have used this for 2 weeks now on skype and google video calls to families and clients. sound is great, receiving end says videos and sound is clean and crisp on their end, no video lags ( I think it depends on your internet connection though)... I have not tested this in a noisy environment so I cannot give my opinion on noise cancellation effectiveness. But if you are using this as an office (closed door) or personal use, I highly recommend it. I am using it both in pc and macbooks.I highly recommend this product!

This camera was clearly tested as a webcam for the case where the user would sit directly in front of the camera, at the keyboard of a computer. For that case, when the user's face is less than three feet from the camera, the image is quite good. This case is clearly documented by some of the demonstration videos here at Amazon. Unfortunately, that was not my use case. My situation is that we have this camera set on top of a large monitor in a living room, looking at a couch that is about 10 feet away. This camera was a disaster for that use case.The simple truth is the camera cannot achieve a sharp focus on anything beyond about five to six feet. Beyond that, even if you turn off the Autofocus and attempt to manually focus, there is no focus setting that will bring the couch (or person) 10 feet away into a sharp focus. If I set a keyboard in front of the monitor and sit close to the camera, it looks very good at 720p or 1080p widescreen. If you back off to the couch 10 feet away, you never get a sharp focus. If you zoom on the image, it's simply blurry.Probably the use case never occurred to anyone in quality assurance at Logitech. Or maybe they didn't think anyone would use their camera this way. But consider that Skype is about to be distributed by four of the major HDTV industry players, including Panasonic and Vizio. So my case stands to become a very common case in the future. Your family members will be seated about six to 12 feet away from that HDTV screen. It's simply unnatural to use an HDTV like a PC in every situation where you want to make a call.I would urge Logitech marketing to rethink their requirements, and urge Logitech quality assurance to start testing focus at longer distances. Please give us a sharp focus at distance from the camera, and particularly after zooming on the person at the center of the image.

This is my first web cam so I can't compare against any others however it has crystal clear picture and works great. Check out the video reviews by others to get a better idea. I just wanted to add my feedback to reflect a great product. The USB cord is okay but I needed something longer so I got a 10' extension. Works great for Skyping. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this webcam when Snow Leopard was still the newest OS X available and all was fine. Since i updated to Lion (10.7.1, not even 10.7) the Logitech Webcam Software crashes instantly, no matter what i do. Their customer service is horrible. I've asked customer support, posted on their support forums and gotten nothing. I've read other threads posted by other people and they won't even come out and admit they know there is an issue. Not only would i not buy this if i had the chance now, but i will never buy anything from Logitech again.

I am blown away with how well this little camera performs. I have one task I wanted to accomplish and this camera does the job. I wanted to be able to video Skype with my Son's family in Texas without having to sit in from of a little computer screen. So the webcam is mounted on top of our large flat screen TV and plugged into my Mac Power Book. From there I plug the computer into the TV HDMI and fire up Skype. I just have to let Skype know that I am using an external camera and mic and that is all thee is to it.Now we have our entire living room in focus and can move about anywhere in the room knowing we will be in focus and on camera. We love it!

The camera arrived just as ordered. It was a little more than plug-n-play for the Mac Mini, but after installing a bit of software, the camera worked great. Awesome picture quality in light & dark conditions, as well as sound clarity.We tried to use it with a Dell D620 with little luck. With out the software, as included, the camera was not available. When we installed the software, the machine was so bogged down, it ceased to be functional.This camera is fantastic on newer / faster machines, but may be a pass on older slower machines.

This camera is top notch I ordered three different web cams the Microsoft life cam the creative live cam and this one the Logitech. They all performed very good but the picture quality on the Logitech was amazing. Then Microsoft was my second best for recording in low light the creative third. Sent back the creative and decided to keep the Logitech and the Microsoft cam one for low light and the other for the clearity they're both 1080p but the sharpness and quality is unbeatable you'll love it...Record short clips because compressing takes a long time and when recording you don't have all day to wait for the video to save to your hard drive. The best out of all cams tested that works on Mac and Pc the others only work on Pc. Or check the Logitech Orbit.

This webcam works pretty well. I am not thrilled about the autoadjust (following me while talking) that seems to bother the audience. However I turned that feature off. Immages are pretty crisp. Love it. It is also compatible with MAC. Which is a plus

Though Logitech advertises that the camera works on a Mac, it does not work anywhere near as well as it does on a PC. On my 2 year old MacBook Pro I had trouble with background flickering, and no matter how much I fiddled with it or added apps to try to solve it (like iGlasses), the flickering persisted.On a PC, I had to change the anti-flicker setting to PAL, and now it works great. But that option does not exist for Macs.

O. K. People, here it is. This camera IS as stated. I work in the video surveillance industry and I can attest as to the high quality of this web camera. It functions as stated in every aspect. The software is functional, complete, and very user friendly. As to the young man I talked to in customer support; Nada, nothing, had no clue as to what the software was or wasn't capable of doing. Here it is: the VID HD portion of the download IS your "Logitech" conduit to the net if; the person on the other end is using Logitech software as well. Any logitech web cam software will shake hands with this software for the C910. Google & Skype will also work as well as; as long as the person on the other end has the same web camera link. You do not have to use proprietary software to fire up this camera. Download the entire software package. The options/features will be very useful. I researched & analyzed the market very carefully. Biggest bang for your buck. You can spend hundreds more and not find the total satisfaction you will receive in this product. Sincerely, Dr. K.. ....

Just awesome webcam. It sure better be for $66. But you get what you pay for, and this one will be good for years.Pros:1. Looks awesome- the blue parentheses looking things on the webcam are actually LIGHTS that light up when the webcam is streaming, so no surprises.2. Small- I was disappointed at how small it was since I took that as a measure of cheapness, but actually it's almost TOO good.3. Picture quality- is phenomenal. That's all I can say about it. Almost too good. But you can customize several different settings.4. Easy to install- literally you plug it in, click next a couple of times and it'll do all the work. You can make a video calls in five minutes with everything set good.5. Microphone quality is insanely good. Do not expect a cheap microphone quality on this. There's literally no clouding or static.Cons: None, maybe the price but for $66 I'm sure this is the best webcam out there.So overall I'm very pleased with it. Just drop the price $10 and I'd be a bit happier.

I purchased this webcam several weeks ago so I could SKYPE with my daughter in Ireland. I have a netbook with webcam but have had some problems with it working due to Windows update, I believe. So I saw this one on line (Logitech HD Pro C910) for a very low price and installed it on my desktop computer. I liked the fact that it is HD. My daughter has an HD Sony monitor. She says the quality is great...very lifelike. I have not seen it myself. It sits right on top of my monitor and is easily moveable. Webcams are so inexpensive today, might as well get the best.

I purchased this webcam for the sole purpose of using Skype to talk to members of my family that are located all over the United States. It really is a nice webcam and I have been very pleased with the results. The audio and video capabilities are excellent and the price I paid for it is very reasonable. It is easy to adjust so it fits your computer monitor. The software that comes with the webcam is easy to use and installs in just a few minutes. I would recommend this webcam to anyone looking to buy one.
