I use this to have a security cam at my desk as people were stealing stuff from my desk. Has a nice motion detection function that works flawlessly. Takes video in 1080p which is nice and clear. Sound has a little hollow sound to it but otherwise it is clear. Also has zoom functionality and can pan and tilt when zoomed.My only gripe is the attachment arm. I don't like the weird little folding attachment thing. I would have much rather has a spring loaded clip or something that is not as large.

The camera is sleek with an attractive face. *giggle*. The logitech program more than meets the standards of what an HD cam should be in that it allows versatile viewing with HD comfort.

Was using an older Logitech model. This was an upgrade and it was a 3 minute breeze to install. I didn't need any of the software provided. My system is a combination PC XT and a Mac Mini and I can switch back and forth. FaceTime on the Mac is clear and distinct while my proposed plans for SKYPE use on both computers should go well. I heartily recommend this product. While I almost purchased the next model up, the C920, it was not recommended for the Mac.

I bought one of these for myself and was impressed by it so I got one as a present for my sis in law. One thing to note, if you do not have a fast internet connection, and a relatively decent computer, there will be a lot of stuttery video and voice cut out. Especially important is the Internet connection. High speed or pretty much forget about it.

Logitech listens and learns and then applies what it has learned. I've been using Logitech webcams for years and usually get around to whatever the top of the line model is some months after its introduction. In this case, I wish I had purchased he C910 on the day it was released for sale. The quality of video output is superb. Razor-sharp. For the first time, I have a webcam I can use to shoot some training videos with instead of using a higher-end camcorder feeding directly into the computer with a Firewire cable. Installation under Vista Ultimate was a flawless process of several minutes. Happily, Logitech seems to have learned that people detest having applications foisted on them without permission. The installers wants to load Logitech's messaging service and politely asks for your permission. The Logitech control software is basic and very usable. They also include some special effects things which are good for kids to play with or be amused by. The quality on Skype 5, with a reasonably good connection, is breathtaking. I ran a Skype call between two of my computers, one using the older 900 model (which was top dog for a while) and the C910. Total blowaway win for the C910. The older 900 which was a top performer not so very long ago looks anemic with its now seemingly fuzzy picture and artifacts. Audio quality from the built-in microphone is excellent. The mount on the C910 is good and can accommodate Itself to any monitor or sit flat on a surface. In fact, I am going to get out the Velcro tabs and play a bit to see if I can get it to sit on a desktop tripod. Overall, the Logitech 1080p Webcam Pto C910 produces the best video output I have ever seen in a webcam. Well worth the money.Jerry

Been using this cam since late 2011 with no issues at all!!I use the cam with late 2011 MAC Mini, setup was easy and clean!Works great with Skype, no setup issues! Audio and video are exactly as advertised!I have the cam mounted on the top of my 42" LED TV and use it as a video conference cam.

Overall, the quality of this web cam beats any I have ever used. Just as the video shows, it even does well in pretty bad lighting. That said, I have to only give it 3 stars for a couple of reasons.As others mentioned, this webcam has issues attaching properly to a laptop. It would definitely work nicely for a desktop monitor, but it simply will not stay put on a thin screen. However, if you place the webcam on another nearby surface like I do (I use a TV tray), it works great.My second issue with this webcam is its favoritism for PCs. Now, looking at the info, it says "Mac and PC". However, all the snazzy editing features that come with it are only compatible with a PC. In fact, 3/4 of the instruction booklet is devoted to PC users because it discusses the neat features.I would definitely recommend this for quality, but not the extras.

We just did a FaceTime session from my '08 Mac Pro running Lion to my roomate's iPad2 (he's in Australia). Worked great once we figured out you have to select the right sound input from FaceTime's menu.The Logitech software seems to run fine, but haven't needed it. It's amazing that it can capture full, fluid motion in low light at high resolution with very little video noise. I've tried it with eCam, PhotoBooth, Quicktime, FaceTime (obviously), and the Logitech software with no problems.It's leaps and bounds above my previous Quickcam Pro 9000 in pretty much every way. Most amazing is the fluid motion, and the low light color fidelity and lack of noise.In Photobooth, I ran into a couple issues which I solved with a search on Apple Discussions. For the face-tracking effects to work (first page of "Effects") you need to Get Info on the Photobooth app, uncheck "run in 32 bit mode", then trash the prefs, and restart. Lion hides the User Library folder where Preferences reside by default (kind of a bone-headed decision if you ask me). So if you want easy access to it, my suggestion is to use Onyx or some other utility to show hidden files, then make an alias to it. No need for all that terminal stuff.GREAT cam Logitech, and thanks for being inclusive of Mac users!

This camera is terrific, with all sorts of great features --- BUT ---the software ain't worth the powder to blow it to hell !!! My friend and I bought exactly the same cameras (C910) -- and spent hours and hours trying to get the 2 cameras to communicate properly, with no results. We both called Logitech, and they told us that they can't make our cameras work together, even though they're both the same model and are running the same software versions. They told us that we could contact a port-forwarding service (for a $30.00 fee!) and they would fix the problem. Logitech should be ashamed to tell their customers that they can't make their Top-of-the-Line products function properly !! I've never seen anything like this in my 12 years of computer usage. The problems we had are directly related to the included Logitech software -- because we hooked up to "Skype 5.0" and were chatting away in less than 10 minutes !! Overall, this has been a BAD experience for both me and my friend -- and Logitech's poor attitude was totally unacceptable !! The camera itself is totally awesome -- can't find a single fault or feature that I don't like !! The Zeiss glass camera lens gives a clear and sharp image, up to 1080p, and much better than the plastic lenses found in other webcam brands and models. The dual microphones give crystal-clear sound, with no annoying feedback or background noise. The included USB cord is 70 inches long -- a USB low-loss extension cable is NOT included, so you may wanna get a 6-ft. USB extension cable for more mobility. In all fairness, Logitech has the best packaging in the industry, and their advanced technology makes them the industry leader for computer peripherals. I sure hope they can get their act together on that software !!! Some folks complained about the camera's mounting bracket -- but I have no problems with the C910 sitting on the top-front edge of my 23-inch ASUS Monitor. It doesn't sit well on the 17" Toshiba Satellite Laptop -- unless the laptop is sitting flat and still. The mounting bracket doesn't actually "clamp on" to anything very tightly -- it's more of an "assisted balance" mounting system -- but it works OK for ME !!

Pros: Very clear picture. You can take the camera out of auto focus to zoom in on something close up and the clarity is unreal it makes it very easy for small text to be read by the person you are video calling. Camera is easily able to focus on your face and fallow it if you move within its range of sight. Added effects that fallow your face or change your face work well and are always a good time. After registering product with Logitech you get a 20% off coupon for your next purchase.Cons: Seems to take up a lot of processor power on my older laptop (dual core) and if camera is running I am not able to do a second task like play music on my laptop.Over all a very nice webcam. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this for a Core I7 with 8 gigs RAM using Windows 7 and it works great!Could not be more happy with the camera. It has great clarity both in optics and voice.Sits on top of my 24 inch HD monitor inconspicously. Blue lights come on while in use.The lights are dim and aren't distracting at all. Nice wide angle and great focus throughoutthe depth of field. Will maintain focus quite well as subject moves closer and farther away fromthe lens. True and faithful color reproduction. Recommended!The only complaint I have is the length of the USB cord.It may be adequate for others but I had to use a USB extension.

I had to do a project for school and I got this webcam on the day before it was due, so I was set to record my project. Sad thing is, on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit computer it failed to work right, I don't know if it was software, hardware, drivers, lighting, but no matter how good or bad any of that was it was always blurry unless extremely close up. I returned it and am getting a replacement on Monday. I will update it then, and also will re-install Windows 7 to see if it does anything at all.Edit: It works perfectly now in 1080p! I guess I can raise 2 stars so its 3 now but not anymore. 1. The control is horrible for this product because my cousin just got a broken one too. 2. I missed my class project date and it wasn't exactly the best quality it seemed like it would be.

I got this webcam as a Christmas gift and I must say I love the quality of the pictures and videos. I have good lighting and I get lots of compliments abt the quality of my vids and pics. People think I actually have a camera guy and photographer! lol. Nope, just me, good lights and my logitech! BUT it gives me LOTS of trouble on my windows 7 64bit. It freezes every time i try to record a video or snap pics. And sometimes it may say its recording or took a photo, then when I go to check its blank. I used to have to uninstall then re install the driver software just to record or take a pic, which was not guaranteed to work. It also gives me problems when I am trying to live cam on certain sites. It freezes and then I have to restart and do sooo much. I have just came to a conclusion that its not compatible with my w7! So I have to record and take pics on my old laptop which is windows vista and it works just fine. Then convert my media to my new laptop. It frustrates the hell out of me sometimes but when it does work... its magic! I have had other friends with w7 who says it works fine. I have others who says it gives them problems as well. I guess it just depends! I do love this camera though but I honestly thank GOD I did not pay $100 for it b/c it would have been a waste of money. Luckily it was a gift so I can only be grateful lol :) Hope this helped!

works super great. When i take pics with it, the pics come out super clear so clear that you can see the small blemishes on my face lol. I use it also for youtube and its just great. I have nothing bad to say about it.

Fantastic Camera!! I had some connection issued initially using Logitech HD function, but it has worked great with Skype right out of the box... It's still pretty new and my first experience with a webcam, but so far I am extremely pleased with the performance and love Skype! I bought it based on research and reviews that were fairly unanimous in their praise... I rate it *****!

Hello I purchased the camera to use with Skype mainly. Yes on a Mac there is no Logitech software whatsoever so its plug and play.I'm thrilled. In little more than the monitor's lighting the image was good, with more lighting it was as good as it is on a still with a 7.1mp camera. I swooshed about and the image didn't blur sickeningly. The Follow your Head feature, well you don't get that or any other manually selectable attribute because of the no-software punishment we mac-ies are still enduring in this day and age. If Logitech doesn't care to give us software I'm perfectly happy with some other creator doing so.Mic functions even when you are not using the imaging element under USB Unknown Audio Input and in some software it self selected. It isn't good enough for intense talking-to- software like Rosetta Stone which is listening for pitch and precise pronunciation. Maybe if you hold it close to your mouth it would work well enough even for that application but you don't want to be holding a camera as you'll smudge and eventually scratch the lens by handling it. If you can find a way to mount closer to your face but keep your hands off it, then you can solve that little problem as well.I used it as a true video movie maker using Quicktime Pro 7. Just chose NEW MOVIE, let the software configure the BEST settings and clicked RECORD! 19 SECONDS IS 2.6mb and the file I created opens and plays as it should in every mov file player I have.note: In Quicktime v10 you have to choose the HIGH setting. Camera doesn't function at all in the MAXIMUM setting.What you can't do with this camera is use it stealthily as a security cam as it emits a lovely BLUE GLOW in the shape of a PARENTHESIS framing the lens. The blue band you see in the ad literature is a LIGHT and I don't think they make that very clear in any documentation. I thought it was just a painted stripe. When it lit up I was surprised! In the dark a thief would see that glow from across any room.What takes a bit of getting used to (and I'd guess that is with any camera) is that you have to turn left when you mean right and right when you want to move left or to refer to that side of your body or the image and your things behind you.My Mac Mini is running 10.6.4

Awesome PC camera, works great with Lync and Cisco Movi telepresence software. Worked so well on a home PC, I recommended this model at the office and we've now deployed more than a hundred of these. Good overall performance and great price. Much better than the low-end models (avoid the C210 and C310!). Subtle differences compared to the Cisco HD Telepresence USB camera that retails at $300, so for around 65 bucks this camera is a steal! There's a new C920 model that you should also consider if you're serious about using desktop video conferencing.

Cam does not twist , extend but 1-2 inches , does not have a screw in port for a small tri-pod ... the best cam has the worst range of viewing of all Logitech cams , and I have owned all of them ...

The product came within the time scheduled for delivery. I have problem with the camera installation. During installations an error occur and when the installation is concluded, some of the camera features do not work.

Since I am a adult performer online, I am always looking for the latest webcam that works best.Many girls prefer this cam and I do as well.It worth the money and the price... If you aren't in HD by now, you need to catch up.

AMAZING! I am really satisfied with Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910. It is incredibly easy to install and to use. The picture is so clear and I love the widescreen and the zoom in/out tools. My primary reason for making this purchase was to use Skype. My family lives 3,000 miles away from me and visiting them once or twice a year is never enough. This webcam has given my family and I an opportunity to see each other so vividly (My family also purchased this same webcam)and that is how I know I made the right choice on the purchase. I recommend this product 100% :)
