When i saw this product with a price drop, i jumped on it. After a couple weeks i got it in the mail, i almost forgot that i ordered it honestly. Again when i went to pick this up, right away i opened it and set it up on my mac. It was simple to install, simple to set up on my monitor. First thing i did was hop on skype and tested this out. All my friends commented how clear i was, and how smooth the video is, i think the smoothness is from the 50 down and 3 up.In simple words, when i bought it for under 100 bucks, and says 720p video calling and 1080p recording, i can not complain.

Nice as usual, Logitech is the best. Work under the Ubuntu (i suppose under any linux will work). Quality is amassing.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas 2011 for their use when Skyping with my daughter and their other granddaughter, and we are all very pleased with the product. I can now see them quite clearly when we Skype, despite the less-than-optimal lighting in their den. The audio delivered by this device is very good as well.

I never knew how much i would love a webcam until i needed a better one for work... I absolutely love this lil cam... it keeps just the right lighting auto focuses and some extras ... I'm in love with my cam and it paid for itself literally in the first week of having it :)

Very easy installation, didn't need to use the set up disk. Only issue is the video quality could be better.

When it works, the picture quality is good. It uses practically no processing power when recording 720p video, which looks quite good. However, lest that be seen as an endorsement, it only produces video for about two minutes before becoming non-functional and requiring a "cool-down" period of at least thirty minutes (I did not both to measure it). That's pretty much a deal-breaker - it makes it unusable for almost any purpose.It is possible that this only applies to 64-bit systems; I don't have access to a 32-bit system to test it on. However, I would advise avoiding it even if you're on 32-bit, as I don't believe that the issues could be entirely specific to the x64 drivers and software included with it. It is also possible that the one I received is defective; if so, then a very large portion of them are defective, as I found people asking for help with this issue to be quite common on Logitech's forums.

I have a MacPro running OS 10.6.8. I have 2 problems with this webcam.First of all, the controls that allow you to zoom and pan the camera work on PCs only.Secondly, the cam shows a mirror image on Skype video chats, so anything with writing on it is unreadable. On PCs you can fix this problem. Not so on Macs.On the plus side, Logitech has phone support 7 days a week and there was no long wait.

Bought this to use to Skype with family on west coast. It was a breeze to set up and I never used a webcam or Skype before! My family kept telling me that my picture was so clear. I noticed that every time they moved their webcam seemed to re-focus which means it looked a little fuzzy on my end for a short time...and with a baby there was a lot of movement. My Logitech didn't seem to do that so my picture was very clean. I know there were cheaper webcams listed but I've found that you get what you pay for - this wasn't the most expensive one but I feel I got good quality. Would buy again.

I bought it for $50 and I think at this price is the best choice you can have for a web cam. Very good quality of image (on Win7-64bit system) in video chats, using Skype, Yahoo messenger or Live messenger. The image quality is depending also on upload speed of your connection.Compatible with Linux operating systems, tested with Fedora 16 and Ubuntu 11.10.

It came right on time in perfect condition. Its my 1st ever webcam. Dont have nothing to compare to. I've used it on an old old old computer so cant really tell what the picture quailty is like but its very good. Like it alot.

My partner's old webcam finally died. I've had this cam for a couple years and love it, so I ordered him one for Christmas.Plugged it in, booted right up. Found a few additional goodies online and he's happy as a clam. I have saved hundreds of $$$ shopping on Amazon

This webcam is amazing, especially for the price that I got it for. 60 dollars on amazon instead of 85 dollars on the logitech website. Installation was fast, easy, simple. Runs beautifully and smooth. The only downside and reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because of the clip. It works great on larger desktop monitors, but I can see why this would have issues with laptop users. You'll find yourself balancing this webcam to get it just right. otherwise, this is great.

I was told about the Logtech webcam by a friend . He was absolutely right . This is the best HD Webcam I have seen.MY grandson wishes I had gotten it earlier. Thank You for the best product out there.Thank You Amazon, still the best....

Installed the camera on a Windows 7 64 bit system and it works great. A couple of problems I see with it is that the "mount" does not work well with all displays. It does not seem to fit well on top of my Dell 27 inch monitor. The other problem I saw was that automatic white balance was slightly off and required me to adjust manually to get the best picture under the lighting conditions in my room. The picture quality after adjusting white balance is virtually perfect and earns the product 5 stars.

I was looking into buying a wireless camera for baby monitoring and webchatting. I decided to go wih just a webcam and am glad I did. I think it is important to purchase an item that does 1 task really well as opposed to doing a few tasks with mediocrity. I am not an expert but I can handle most of the gadgets ou there. I do not know alot of specifics but for the average consumer I think This review is legit. With that said I really like this camera. It was very easy to set up and I have windows 7 64 bit. I did however download the most current software on the logitech website instead of using the CD provided. I called my brother within 15 minutes and was able to figure out the cameras features very quickly as I think most of the human race can handle this. Picture quality is exceptional but you or your friends might not be able to appreciate it since it relies on internet connection and a few other factors. Overall It baffles me about the negative reviews. I bought this for $75 on sale and while there are probably cameras out there for less but I love having 1080p video to record my baby, I love the internal mic. and I feel the quality is worth the money. The cord is a little short but you can buy extensions. If you want the latest webcam with 1080p There is no other camera to consider BUY THE C910.

Clear quality picture/video. Easy to set up and use.Because my PC is memory poor and old, I cannot appreciate the full capabilities of this camera.This camera needs the basic requirements in the PC the more (>=2GB RAM)the better.Good value for the $$$, under $50. I got it for free using Amazon points.

My dad barely knows how to use anything with computers, but learned how to use this camera quick and fast. I recommend this product to anyone who is interested in a camera for their desktop/laptop.

This is an excellent camera . Good price and the picture quality is very good ,easy set up and a breeze to install the software with win 7.I purchased this to replace a logitech cam that they did not make a driver for win7 .It would not work and was one of the few they did not upgrade the software for the newer operating system .

I traded up from a cheap $15 Rosewill I had been using. It was so so and worked. However,the C910 is like moving from the vw bug to a Ferrari. Crystal clear picture to my fellowSkypers, no stuttering in the picture, excellent sound. Booted up first try on my Windows 7machine..AMD chip with 8 megs of memory. Try it...you will love it too!

I purchased this camera to use for videocasts on Ubuntu and elementary OS. It works 100% perfectly; I simply installed Guvcview (available in the Ubuntu Software Center or at [...]). All of its controls work wonderfully, including zoom, focus, white balance, contrast, etc.The picture quality is great; it's 1080p and gets good FPS. My computer is a few years old and can't handle the 1080 recording for long, so I use 720p, which also looks great.If you're looking for a high-quality camera to use with your Ubuntu or elementary system, I highly recommend this one.

Plug and play. Great software with the webcam. I use it to Skype with family across the world and it works flawlessly. Takes great still and video as well.
