This a exceptional product for realism, and fun. Only drawback is the front bushing wears out right away but still continues to work fine.Best bang for the buck. Lets race!

Kids (and adults) loved this. Great action and you can feel the vibrations too. Would recommend getting the stand to go with it though if you have room.

This is seriously an amazing racing wheel. The only reason to get the even more expensive Logitech racing wheel is if you want a traditional gear shifter and a few extra buttons. This wheel is in my opinion what 99% of gamers out there will need. Anything above that is just for someone who's a pro gamer.

Excellent fun. You feel every bump and every twist of the suspension when using with Gran Turismo V. Definitely a LOT more fun than with the standard controllers. In fact, it is definitely a lot less hard to do some of the races. Especially as you move up to pro level racing.

Bought this for my husband's birthday and he is very happy to have it. Works like a "real" steering wheel.He enjoys using it with his PS3.

My husband bought this for himself. After a few hours of use, he noticed that the brake pedal was sticking/ not cominmg all th way up. I think he found a youtube video on how to fix it; I guess it is a common problem with this item. He had to take it apart and fix it. Not sure what he did, but it seems to work ok now.

Simply put, this wheel just amazingly realistic.The construction is pretty solid, and it clamps pretty easily onto any size table. At 11" in diameter, the wheel itself is slightly smaller than the typical steering wheel on a car, but from what I've read, it's the standard size racing wheel used in actual racing cars.The gearshift on the right is a toggle-type switch, that resets itself on release, rather than staying in an up or down position. However, it is close enough to the wheel that you can actually hold the wheel in a 10-to-2 position, and your ring and little fingers on your right hand can still comfortably reach the wheel and shift up and down. It took a couple of hours of racing to get used to the wheel, but after that, it was wonderful. The wheel is very responsive to even the finest inputs, and the force feedback is just amazing.Others may have mentioned it, but `force feedback' may be a bit misleading. On the Dualshock, `force feedback' generally means the controller vibrates a bit. That's not the case with this wheel. The wheel can turn itself without your input. If you take a corner sharply, and release the wheel while applying throttle, the wheel will naturally straighten itself out, just like a real car.If you are driving fast down a straight, and your left tires hit the grass, the wheel will yank itself to the left and you will spin out of control, just like a real car. I mean, the force feedback adds a level of immersiveness that has to be experienced to be believed. My wife tried it out and was amazed... and she doesn't touch video games.... It's that realistic.My real-life car pulls slightly to the left, and the first time I hit a straight and let go of the wheel for a few seconds, and found myself automatically reaching back to the wheel to adjust even though the virtual car was still going straight as an arrow, I knew that the level of realism was just topnotch.There are a couple of complaints though, but these are fairly minor.The first is that the angle on the pedals are a bit high, which makes it very difficult to drive with just my right foot... it's too difficult to raise my foot high enough to reach the brake, which is at an even higher angle than the gas. So, I have to use both feet for driving. And that brings me to my second complaint which is that the pedals are so sensitive that you cannot just rest your foot lightly on the brake paddle without engaging it slightly. So, it would've been preferable for the brake paddle to have just enough initial resistance to allow you to rest your foot lightly on it without engaging it.But those are minor complaints. Overall, a very high quality wheel, especially for the price, and a must for Gran Turismo fans.

Good control, precise wheel for F1 2012. The force feedback is very strong so I have to tune down a bit in F1 2012.

I've played racing sims on the PC for years but never owned a wheel. I picked up shift 2 and tried to play with the keyboard and it was horrible. So I looked at some wheels and decided on the Logitech DFGT. I also ordered Dirt 3 to go along with it.Wow! This wheel changes the game. I love it. I don't have anything to compare it too, but for a first wheel it is way more than I had hoped for. The force feedback really makes it feel like driving a real car.Playing Dirt 3 the first thing I noticed was that when driving on dirt/gravel the wheel shakes just like driving on a dirt road, but when you switch from dirt/gravel to tarmac the wheel tightens up nicely.For me right now, the only CON are the pedals. They are too close together and the brake pedal is way to soft. There is a simple enough mod you can do to change the angle of the spring for the brake pedal and I will be doing that soon.If you are new to racing sims and don't want to blow a couple hundred bucks on a wheel I highly recommend the Logitech DFGT. It works great with my windows vista PC.I know understand why there are wheels that cost $500+ and why people make fancy rigs to sit in. If I had the space I would build a nice rig myself, but my desk will have to do.

ZOMBIE LIKE WHEEL!!! Good starter wheel, The Driving force Gt is nice but will fall apart... After a couple of months gear shift came off and right clamp broke. Still awesome thought. Make driving games almost as cool as brains!

The racing wheel with shifter and pedals has done just what I had hoped for. Such realistic feel of the wheel as the car goes off track or the turning becomes difficult. For the price, it is a wonderful way to drive safely at home and have many challenging courses to negotiate. I am using it with GT5 which is an excellent racing game on a PS3 system.

Ok i have been looking for a steering wheel in stores for a few days no where else but amazon actually had it. They delevered it on the exact time i selected not late.The product when I first recived felt like a big waste of money when I first recived it mainly becuase I was bad at it eventually i gained skill and love the thing. It takes time for one to adapt from the controller to a steering wheel the force feedback amazing you feel the road. I personally recomend any gt5 fan should buy it or any person buying gt5 becuase you have not fully experienced the game until you experience the steering wheel. For those gt5 fans with a little more money or hardcore I recomend a g27 by logictech and steering wheel by them is good quality. If you check out other company they will not match the quality logictech provides. Great product overall and cheap price to i saved $30 it goes for $150 retail in my area so not a bad deal.

This just makes any driving game twice as much fun. Great quality, well made, easy to set up. The table clamps could be way better but I use wood clamps instead. Shifter a tad small but no big deal there. Floor pedals work great. Wish this was a wireless unit but Oh Well.. Makes you a better driver in any driving game.

The Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel is great if you are into racing games.Its very responsive to the games that I have,which are Midnight club LA, Need for speed hot pursuit and Gran Turismo 5.If the wheel is not responding to the game you have,fix the settings of the game you are going to play.The Force feed back is very good too it gives you a perfect feeling to the game as you play and makes it far more exciting.This wheel is perfect,affordable,fun,and gets you into the racing world of games.I strongly recommend this product to anybody,you will not be disappointed.

Like every Logitech product I own, this is well constructed, performs great, and is reasonably priced.Totally transforms the way you experience Gran Turismo, makes it much more realistic (no clutch pedal, but at least you have a dedicated shift knob).Things to be aware of before you buy:It's important to note that when the unit is connected and you boot up your PS3, the steering wheel will do a 180 degree self calibration spin. If you have little kids (or hamsters, etc.) around, you want to make sure they are away from this wheel when you boot things up - the motor is pretty powerful.The only "tricky" part to setting up the wheel is finding the right surface to mount it to, and yes, you really have to mount it to a solid surface (can't be used on your lap). There are 2 adjustable C clamps that have a maximum throat of about 1.25", so I'm using a fairly sturdy wood coffee table, but it could be sturdier. If you use something that doesn't have a flat edge lip or is too flimsy, the wheel will work loose pretty quickly on you...You also need to consider the gas/brake peddle board - you have to find a table that doesn't have a cross-leg brace that's too close to the floor, or it will interfere with the peddle board operation.If you are handy at constructing things, you could make the ideal stand for this. Me, I'm looking for the ideal coffee table...Other than that, it's all good and just tons of fun!

I played GT5 when we got it for christmas in 2010 with the regular controller. It was fun, but never really got into it as much as you could not really get a good driving experience with buttons and joysticks.I bought this wheel to treat myself this past christmas as it was a great price. What a great experience. Driving with a real wheel and shifter is awesome. I first attached it with the clamping system to some TV trays that we had. Worked well, but a little wobbly. The next day I built a stand out of wood that I had here at the house. That worked great. The wheel is quite heavy, but the stand takes care of that. The feel is fantastic.The wheel has a good grip and the shifter is great, but you can use the buttons on the backside of the wheel also like paddle shifters. The pedals are heavy and don't move when you're playing, they have ridges on the bottom side to grip into the carpet so they don't push away, but will not tear up the carpet.Make sure your stand is sturdy so it handles turns better.

At first I was skeptical of how good this wheel would be. With so many other wheels out there that are for more expensive and sophisticated I didn't think this would be that great, but it is. The wheel is great, the only thing is finding a comfortable position to mount it if you don't have a seat specifically for a racing wheel.
