Well, I don't know how to rate these speakers.They sounded fantastic,for two weeks then they started to hum and about an hour later that was it,belly up.No sound at all.I remember reading a review about someone having the same problem,I wish I listened ,now I have to send them back, I think I'll get my money back,and try something else!!!

So I just got these in the mail today and took them out of the package and was almost really mad--they are so small! I thought there could be no way that these little things would be worth the $100 I just paid for them. But then once I hooked them up I was astonished! The quality and sound of them is fantastic and blows the $100 Altec Lansing set I had before.I quickly tried all sorts of music, from bass-heavy techno to screaming guitar metal and found that they remained quite crisp and clear for both, with heavy bass and full sound. Honestly, as they sit here on my desk the sound just fills the room and I don't know how the little things do it. Seriously, they are just three little cool looking things and somehow they are filling this whole room with sound.Now of course its not a high end system and I've seen things more powerful but for such a compact, cool looking, $100 system, I'd definitely say this is top notch.

The sound this system produces is totally unmatched for a computer speaker system. When I finally made the change to MP4 and began the arduous task of converting my audio collection of 500+ CD's to MP4's, I thought that my next task would be to go out shopping for a new home stereo and a MP3 player that could hook up to it so I could utilize the fruits of my labor. Well let's say that I am only in the market now for a MP3 player for remote use but am no longer planning on purchasing a new home stereo for playing my audio files, because I found the JBL Creatures. Hooking these up to my home computer has turned my home computer into a phenominally sounding home stereo in my living room. Everyone that has stopped by my home has their jaws uncontrollably drop to the floor in awe when they discover all of those great sounds are coming from this unique and stylish little set of computer speakers. You have to believe me, this is the best computer speaker system ever invented. I recommend that the JBL Creatures be your next computer accessory investment...or for that matter...your next home audio investment. I know if you do buy these, I will be reading your 5 Star review in here soon too.

I bought these speakers with a gift card and had been eyeing them out for a while. I have them connected to my computer and television and movies and games sound great. Plus the little speakers look great. I only wish there was a remote to wirelessly control the volume.

My friend's wife has one of these...I saw it and like the way how it looked and sound. So I order one right then and there. I was so excited to receive it. No problems with my package it would have arrived as shedule if my dumb neighbor would have stop sending ups away all because he didn't know that my apt was at the side. I love this product, I use it for my laptop while watching movies and playing pandora on my iPhone. Its loud enough to have a house party sou da like a dvd surround system. I am very satisfied and would recommend it to my friends/family :).

This speaker package is a great buy if your looking for external speakers for computer, TV or Ipod. Work great, easy to set up and use. Great bass and easily adjustable bass/treble buttons on sub woofer. After the first few days, rumbling started happening in the satellites even when the bass was turned all the way down. I think it's a defect in these specific speakers because they otherwise work great. returning and looking into buying a different pair.

I bought these speakers in 2003 from the Apple store and they are still working great. They have survived many, many moves. I can't count the number of times I've spilled drinks on them. The sound is great and they turn up very very loud, too. They are so tiny, they will fit anywhere.The only only drawback is the subwoofer makes an awkward footrest. I could get a real footrest, I guess. But the subwoofer is right there. ...Oh and the power supply buzzes, but I imagine that's because it's been plugged in for the last seven years and is very very angry.

I bought this item on Amazon for $67. For the price I paid, I think the value is decent. But I wouldn't pay more than that. These speakers can definitely fill a room with sound and the sound is decent. On the whole I am pleased with them, but the bass is disappointing. If bass is a big deal to you, get something else. If you just want a set of decent-sounding speakers that look really cool, these are worth considering.

Performance... I got these and my neighbor complained about the noise level... so they certainly bump, they also have great qualityLooks.. kind of like an octopus... so I don't care too much for that, but the size is greatMy only wish is that they came with a remote.I would recommend them any time to anyone. They're a fab buy for the price.

I wanted some good sounding speakers for my desktop. These sound awesome, would not have guessed the sound that comes out of these tiny speakers, lol. My only draw back is the speaker volume, you have to press the up and down button on the speaker itself I either get it cranked to high or to low, wish it had a different setup then the way it does. Outside of that its an awesome system well worth the money.

The JBL Creature III is a good value for the money. It uses a small footprint on your desk and appears to be very durable. It has a very good sound and is a much larger sound than you would think could come from such small speakers. We researched a lot of speakers before purchasing these and are very happy with our choice.

amazon prime was great as always.good sound in a small package. my only complaint is that the satellite cables are fairly short and don't allow much freedom when placing the subwoofer.

Bought two of them. One for my wife's Imac and one for mine. We both love them, excellent sound for such a small system. The only problem is when the wife wants to listen to hers and I want to listen to mine at the same time it can get rather noisy in the room. The bass is a bit boomy but that can be controlled and the highs are right on just love the way the look I am always thinking of Darth Vader coming to get me.

I am an audio enthusiast and I love these speakers! They have excellent clarity and balance without being too tinny or bassy. The best part is how incredibly small they are. I bought them because I have a 27" imac and not much room for speakers on my desk. These little things are so small, and yet plenty powerful. The sub is quite a bit bigger than the sattelite speakers but I have it under my desk. Only 1 word of caution is that the cables between the 3 speakers are pretty short so you don't have a lot of options as far as placement around a desk go.

It's a great sound system for your laptop since the speakers for laptops are not that good. The bass sound is quite satisfying. I also tried it with my LCD to watch movies and the performance is great.

Sounds great and great product, the only thing they could do better would be longer speaker wires. But great sound and have recieved alot of compliments on the look and sound! Would buy again.

You will NOT get a better speaker setup for anywhere near this price, it would have been 5 stars except for the touchy volume control on the right satelite, I had to play with it to set the right volume, plenty of sound though and half price from amazing Amazon.

I bought these speakers for my PC and they died within 90 days...was too late to send them back. If I'm going to blow $130, I'd much rather do it on a great bottle of scotch...so I am not happy and would not recommend this product to anyone.

i like jbl's products and these speakers are nice good bass and highs. the midrange isnt that good but you can watch movies and listen to music and it sounds way better then tv speakers or computer

Great Sound, Easy Setup. I setup a few of these around the house connected via AirPort Express and now have a rich sounding wireless sound system around the house. The speakers look great and produce very good sound. Volume control is easy with the touch control on one of the satellite speakers. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone for the price.

I once bought these speakers and loved them, but was an impulse buy. Since I liked them so much I repurchased it and still like them a lot. Great value and great sound as well.
