I purchased this memory to replace the 1GB memory module in my Acer Aspire One netbook in the Spring of 2009. It is much easier to replace the memory now with a small plastic piece being secured by a screw on the bottom of the netbook. The older memory will pop up when the connector sides are gently pushed to the side. I wish I was able to remember more about the connector so that I could describe it here. Anyway, this memory is working well for me now. Also, I believe that the latency figures on this memory are slightly better.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT DOES, IT WAS TOLD TO ME THAT I NEEDED TO INSTALL IT SO I DID. THE APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION WAS VERY EASY, SO I GUESS IT WILL DO WHAT IT IS SUPPOSE TO DO IN TIME.

The RAM module works flawlessly with the Asus eeePC 1005HA-P.However, to my surprise, when I opened the RAM slot, I found that the computer came with PC2-6400 (800Mhz) RAM, not 667Mhz (which is what this module is). The FSB of the computer is only 667, but I would like to match what the manufacturer bundled with the computer (especially since the computer is software overclockable). So 4 stars for Amazon recommending to me slower RAM than what was stock.

I upgraded my 512 mb ram mac mini to 2 gb from Crucial. Opening up the chassis and installing the new memory went smoother than I expected - and it makes a huge difference. I can actually have multiple applications running smoothly now on my mac.

I have been using the stock 1GB memory on my EeePC 1000HE and finally swapped in the 2GB stick from Crucial. My computer ended up functioning much slower than the 1GB. After troubleshooting for about two days, attempting to make it work, I have finally swapped back in the original 1GB memory.Had I read previous reviews regarding this memory stick and the 1000HE, I wouldn't have purchased this.

I bought this ram for an upgrade on the asus 1000HE from 1gb to 2gb to maximize the ram. Although I am sure it is good ram I cannot recommend it for the 1000HE. It worked but it would seem to studder whenever opening programs. It would take a few seconds to open programs. Like it would pause before finally realizing I pressed the button to open the program. This goes for just pressing the start button or opening web browser, folders, just everything.So I reinstalled the original ram that came with the 1000HE which was 1gb and all the studdering went away.So if you plan on getting this ram for any mini-laptop you might want to try a different brand.

The RAM is exactly as advertised:The RAM installed quickly into my Eee PC, and now I have been up and running with 2GB for just about a month without any issues.As an added bonus, the blister pack was easier to open than most.

Replaced the 1GB of Ram in my Mini9 with this 2GB one. Took less than two minutes and the mini recognized it right away. Improved speed and compatible. The two things i was looking for. The shipping was super fast. Nothing negative on this product.

I installed this chip in my wife's Acer Aspire One Netbook with no problems at all. Computer came with 1 GB so this upped it to 2 GB. Computer runs a little faster with less lag time between operations.

It came very quickly. It was super easy to install. I don't know that I notice a huge difference in speep but I am a terrible multi tasker and I am probably asking too much for my little netbook.

A fine product I'm sure, but it is NOT for the Samsung N310. Just go to the Crucial website and you can easily find out which RAM is appropriate (and more importantly, guaranteed) for your computer.

This 2GB RAM works well with the HP Mini 110. The packaging was adequate and installation was hassle free. I did not need to configure the BIOS for it to be recognized. Highly recommended!

Warning: For ASUS 1005HA you might have to go into your BIOS after installation of the RAM, save settings and restart. I don't know why, but without doing this the 2nd stick isn't recognized.

I maximized the amount of RAM in my MacBook Pro by replacing one of the existing 1GB memory modules with this 2GB one for only $18.99! For what it cost this upgrade could not be passed up.I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows XP virtual machines and Apple's Final Cut Studio. Performance wise I can't tell if my system is now running faster or slower. My main concern was that running Windows in the Parallels VMs was causing the MacBook Pro run hot causing its fans to make a lot of noise. My thinking was the internal hard drive was paging virtual memory excessively and adding this RAM would reduce that. It has helped some but the MBP still gets pretty hot when running Windows XP in a VM.

This came before the Netbook I ordered. It was shipped the next day and got here in a couple of days. Came with good instructions and very easy to install. Works great, no glitches. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item from them. Price was very competitive!

I order this type of ram along with my Asus 1000HE netbook computer. Before installing this memory into my netbook; I've viewed a few clips on [...] regarding installing memory in the 1000HE. It was fairly easy to remove the old memory and install the new one.I suggest viewing this videos on youtube first before installing this memory on yout netbook so that you have a visual idea when you actually do the upgrade.

I've struggled with lots of packages that resist opening; this one seems to take the art of packaging that injures its owner to new depths.The module worked as expected, once I got it open, but there is no excuse for packaging this dangerous.

Bought a new 1000HE netbook at the same time. UPS truck pulled up, I signed and took the boxes home. Popped open the 1000HE Asus, pulled the 1GB stick and inserted the 2GB stick. Easy to do. Plugged the 1000HE into AC, charged it up. Powered it up, worked like a charm. No problems at all. Make sure the stick is completely inserted BEFORE shoving it down to lock it. Why can't they come with 2GBs of RAM. Come on manufacturers, this is 2009, that stick only cost me $25. For $10 more on the 1000HE you can deliver it with 2GBs in it. Oh, wait. It might cut a half hour off the battery time, right? Ooops.

I use these in 2 of my systems, and it works great in both. On my Acer 1410, I use 2 of them as a matched pair. On my Dell Vostro 1500, I use 1 along with another brand of the same specs, and it works fine.
