This works perfectly in an Acer Apire One netbook computer. There are plenty of video instructions online on how to insert the memory. The good news is that the newer Aspire One's have a special memory door on the back of the computer, so there is no need to dissasemble the computer like in the videos. Just find the door with the memory symbol on it. It is one screw, pop the old one out and pop in the new one. This is a cheap way to double your memory in less than 5 minutes of installation.

Yesterday I installed this RAM module in my ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB Solid State Drive, 20 GB Eee Storage, Linux, 6 Cell Battery) Fine Ebony. It was a simple procedure, and the system recognized the new RAM, without my needing to do anything with the BIOS settings myself (current OS is Win XP, I ditched Linux).

I own an ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10-Inch Netbook (1.66 GHz Intel Atom N280 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, 10 GB Eee Storage, Bluetooth, XP Home, 9.5 Hour Battery Life) BlackI purchassed this memory ram but my computer does not recognize it... I remove the old one, installed the 2GB memory card, turned on the computer... but when I check my computer's systeme property it shows that I still have 0.99GB of RAM... how come??? what should I do???

I'd already bought the memory through Amazon since it showed up as a "buy together" with the EEE PC 1000HE I was buying, also through Amazon. I was concerned that this was not the memory that comes up when you visit the Crucial web site. I posted a question in the forum there, but went ahead and gave it a try anyway. Easy to install, just following the instructions you can find at multiple locations online. Working fine. I did have to do the thing of tapping F2 to bring up to get the EEE PC 1000HE recognize the additional memory.

The crucial memory for my Asus netbook EEE PC 1000HA has proven a worth while buy. Especially for the cost. The item arrived within 3 days and the installation was so simple (2 screws and that's it). If you need directions go on you tube and search for EEE pc memory install and you will find a ton of simple videos.Pros: cheap, easy to install, instantly notice the difference w/all the applications I use at once.Cons: nothing found!Note* some experience a blank screen. Remember to snap the memory in correctly or you will get error messages. This is a plug and play..once installed and you turn on the pc it will ask you tp press F2. Also remember once you remove the battery turn the power on to release any left over power. This is highly reccomended.

If anyone's curious if this memory module works in a late 2006 MacBook Pro (the one that predates Santa Rosa), it does. Crucial's site recommends part CT613255 for that computer, but it's easier/faster/cheaper to order from Amazon. I'd guess they're the same memory, with a special part number for Apple products, and Amazon only stocks the generic form.

I purchased this 2GB RAM as an upgrade to the stock 1GB included with the Toshiba Mini NB205. Popped it in, and it works perfectly! Opening programs is zippier. I'm happy with the purchase.

I'd never changed memory before. Took me less than five minutes to put this in my Acer Aspire 10.1. Hardest part was putting the little cover back on. Netbook recognized the new memory instantly

I ordered this for my Sony Vaio VGN-N110G because it's a simple yet noticeable upgrade at a time when financial limitations make it difficult to just upgrade to an entirely new laptop. It was extremely easy to insert (I say "insert" because that's literally all I did). My laptop immediately recognized the upgraded RAM. Boots up super quick, allows me to run several programs concurrently without the annoying delay that I used to experience, and shuts down immediately. I upgraded from 512MB to 2GB and would definitely recommend this product.

I bought the ASUS 1000HE Netbook. There seems to be a lot of contraversey with upgrading the memory to 2GB with 800mhz PC6400 vs the existing 667 mhz. Does anyone know if it will damage the unit. I have the intentions of playing some online games and it was suggested this upgrade to handle it. I fear making this worse, yet heard its beneficial for processing speed and better operating conditions. If anyone has the answer, please advise before I purchase the upgraded memory.

Too bad Crucial tells everyone that the Lenova IdeaPad S10e will accept 2GB of RAM.. It only supports 1.5GB total. There is a 512 memory chip soldered into the machine, so you can only add a 1GB chip. Again, Crucial wasted my time and money by having the wrong information. Perhaps they should change it.
