The delivery was quick and the product in good shape. I opened the memory cover door, removed the 1 GB stick and the 2 GB stick dropped right in. You do need to go to the settings at boot up and make sure you are set at 2 GB, then save the new settings. Once this is accomplished the Asus recognized the new memory. Took longer getting the memory stick out of the package than to actually change out.

Crucial makes good memory. This is good memory, only I blew it and ordered this and not the PC-6400 (800MHZ) that the Crucial memory advisor recommends. The EEE PC 1000HE comes with 1GB of PC-5300, but when replacing with the 2GB, it is better to go with the Crucial Technology CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module as recommended.I installed this before ever turning on the EEE, so I didn't have to do anything to get it to recognize the memory -- however when shutting down in XP, there would occasionally be errors which have been attributed to upping the memory without going up to 800MHZ. However, I installed Windows 7 on the second partition, and am now using it almost exclusively, and there have not been any of those shutdown errors with W7.I'm still going to get the 800MHZ though :)

This is the RAM that Crucial recommends for the eee PC 1005HA. It was very easy to install. Prior to installation, I saw some minor lag when switching between Internet Explorer and Office applications. It wasn't bad, but it was annoying. Since installing the additional RAM, I have not seen any lag whatesoever. The RAM is cheap and works well. That makes it a no brainer in my opinion. I highly recommend it.

I wish I had read the reviews for this item before purchasing it. Now I have to return it. Although Amazon recommends it for the Samsung Go N310, no, it is not compatible. I am beginning to realize that the recommendations that Amazon makes are machine driven. They ought to rethink this, especially when it comes to things like computer memory and replacement parts. These really need to be choices made by humans.

I bought this a month ago to go with my newly purchased Asus Eee netbook. Installed it in less than 10 minutes. Works great with the netbook and definitely has benefited my netbook, which I can now use just like a regular full laptop by watching Hulu videos and downloading work documents. Even a virus scan in the background doesn't disturb my workflow. Definitely a good buy!

Hi. It is working fine. When you install it, you might want to check to see if when you pull the clamps apart to release the chip, if the newly installed chip pops up. I installed it about 3 times, because I was getting a blank screen. My chip was not popping up, when I removed it. This was because I did not push it into its slot a bit. It moved in snugly, without much force. Then when I tried removing it, it popped up as it should. So I slid it back into place, snugly, and closed the compartment again and turned on my computer and voila, I have 2gb of ram! Yay! So far, I have not noticed a huge amount of change, but hoping it will kick in when necessary.

I have never had any problems with Crucial Memory modules -- and this holds true for this 2GB 800MHz DDR2 PC2-6400 laptop memory.I recently purchased this to upgrade my Toshiba NB205 to 2GB of memory. Installing it is a piece of cake... just remove the one that's in there now, and put this in its place. My netbook immediately recognized the 2GB of RAM.This module will work well with pretty much all the Intel Atom-based netbooks on the market. Even if your netbook comes with slower memory, this will still work as it's backwards-compatible in speed but you're better off buying the speed of memory that matches what your system came with as it will cost less.

I bought this chip for my asus eee 1005hab, installation was easy. snapped right in. I didn't see much performance gain on the eee, but this was more than likely due to the atom processor on the netbook rather than the chip. it does help with some larger programs a little bit. So far it has worked perfectly now, it has been installed for about 2 weeks now. i have always had good luck with crucial chips.

While the Asus Netbook works fine, it will still only recognize 1 MG of the ram, rather than the 2. There is a customer service nuber for Crucial, but they are impossible to reach and I got tired of sitting on hold. The memory was easy to install, but what's the point??

I purchased the additional memory, but realized afterwards, I really didn't need it for the type of uses I will use the netbook for. With 1 gb of ram, that's plenty of memory. I also thought the Ram was easier to install than it is, but it basically requires the Acer Aspire to be taken apart to get under the keyboard to install. There are good videos on You Tube that walks you through the process, but I thought twice about taking on this project with a brand new netbook. In talking with Acer support, I also found out that if the user installs anything above and beyond how the netbook was delivered, you're basically at your own risk if something were to go wrong with the netbook, so I decided not to install it. I have no doubt, this additional memory card works very well, but I'm not willing to install it at this time because of the rqamifications and difficulty.

Fast shipping and great price. I had researched locally at Best Buy and other similiar stores and no one was even close to beating the price. Easy to install. It literally only took seconds to put in my Toshiba netbook. Works great! I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I needed to increase my computer's performance, and while chatting with a computer geek friend of mine, he suggested this option. I trusted his judgment as he had never let me down over the years. And he suggested Crucial, even though it was priced less then the higher priced competitors, so I went to the Crucial website, ran a scan on my computer, and they suggested this item.Even though my computer is a little old (1 and 1/2 years old) this product made a marked improvement with regards to it's performance.These were easy to install, took all of a couple of minutes, and wallah, I was done. I suggest this product for anyone that may want to upgrade their system without spending a lot of money, or even buying a new computer.

I bought this, stuck it in and got mad because my Asus HAB1005 didn't fire up. Well duh... make sure you fully seat the RAM chip!After tried turning it on several times and pushing F2 and all that. Then when I finally gave up and tried to remove it I noticed the chip wasn't seated.So make sure you really do plug it in.

I upgraded my Aspire 4730z, and it worked great. It took a couple of tries--at first, my computer wouldn't even turn on, so I had to remove it and put the old ones back, and switch it off and on before it recognized it.

Bought two of these memory sticks to max out the RAM in my macbook (late 2007) and they work great. My macbook is now noticeably faster with 4GB memory compared when it had 2GB.

Matter of snapping in the chip in the bottom compartment secured by one screw. 1G upgraded to 2GB, max allowed for the NC10 netbook.

A cheap, easy, and extremely efficient upgrade to my toshiba nb205. The hardest part of installing was unscrewing the small and tight screw on my netbook with a jewelers screw driver. A must for netbook users. Be sure to check compatability with your computer.

Installed almost three months ago, performing flawlessly so far. Appears to draw slightly less current than the two 1GB sodimms it replaced. I used the old 1GB sodimms to increase memory on two other laptops from 1gb to 2GB.

Generally I will not give the review for the product. But this one, I have to give somebody who wants to buy this product about my experience.I ordered two Crucial 2 Gb 667 Mhz SODIMM Laptop Memory from Amazon for my Acer TravelMate 6292. When it arrived, one is working but the other one did not work. I called Amazon customer server, they sent me a new one in two days that was amazing me. However, the new one was still not working. I called Amazon customer server again. They sent me the other new one, finally it works.So be careful to buy these cheap memory. I have bought Kingston Apple 4GB Kit 667MHz DDR2 SoDimm Dual Channel Memory for my MacBook, that did not like these.I gave one star for the Amazon customer server. This product I will give no star at all because 50% default that is amazing percentage.

Amazing value for the price. I put this in an ASUS 1000HE and it was very easy to install. Remove power and batteries from the computer and then you remove the bottom cover by removing two screws. The screws are little so don't lose them. Then you just push the two capture wings to the outside and the card pops out at you. Put the new card in, push down and push the capture wings back in to hold the circuit card down. Put the cover back on with the two screws, put the battery back in and you're done. I don't know what I'm doing but it took me only 5 minutes to do it.
