Installation wasn't to bad. It took me about an hour. Once installed, I had no problems with neither Snow Leopard or Windows 7.

My eeepc came with 1 gig of ram so i needed to upgrade. I found this online and bought it here. I plugged it right in with no problems and checked the bios to make sure it was activated and worked like a charm. Highly recommend it.

Does what it's supposed to. Installed in about 90 seconds in my ASUS Eee Netbook (1005-HA) and once I booted it up (holding F2), the BIOS recognized it and the computer booted normally. Speed increase noticed even when not running multiple applications.Buy when the price is down and be happy going with a brand-name RAM component instead of generic..your computer deserves it!

I bought this RAM module along with the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - 9.5 Hour Battery Life. I installed it before even starting up the netbook. It was recognized by the system, no need to adjust the BIOS or any settings, and seems to work just fine.I'm glad I upgraded my new netbook to 2 GB RAM right away. It's not at all hard to change the RAM modules, I'm no techie and if I can do it anybody can. These days you can find instructions online, even if you don't have a tech-savvy person in your life to ask how to do it. I found specific how-to videos on YouTube demonstrating upgrades of RAM on specific makes and models of computers. I cut my teeth, so to speak, recently by upgrading the RAM in a 2 year old notebook PC, and now I wish I hadn't waited so long or been so intimidated at the thought of doing it.

I bought this 800MHz RAM memory for my Asus EeePC 1000HE after using a Kingston 667Mhz 2GB chip that didn't work fine. Please, if you intend to upgrade the RAM of your netbook, use 800MHz RAM modules and not 667MHz RAM ones.... this new memory works flawlessly and seamlessly with Asus Hybrid Technology, whereas the Kingston one had problems with Asus Hybrid technology and was even SLOWER that the chip included with the netbook. USE THIS CRUCIAL 800 MHZ. 2GB RAM MEMORY TO UPGRADE YOUR NETBOOK, YOU WON'T REGRET IT! (AND AVOID USING 667MHZ ONES!).

I installed two of these into my 2.16 Ghz, Core 2 Duo iMac and they went in no problem. I now have 4 GB of memory and that makes things very nice. I know that some people shop for "Mac memory" but Mac memory is just 200 pin laptop memory for most other systems as long as you get the type and speed right. I saved at least $17 buying two of these Crucial 2 GB sticks versus OWC's 4 GB (2 x 2 dims) upgrade package.

This 200-Pin SODIMM works with the ASUS 900A Netbook running Windows XP Pro, although finding any specific documentation of that fact is confusing at best. After I compared the specs for this module with the one indicated using the Crucial websites memory locator, it became apparent that this chip was close enough (without going into the technical specs of memory chips) in comparison to be worth trying it for the approximately 25% lower cost over the closest similar chips. My wife is happy with the better performance.

I had 512MB RAM on my Compaq Presario C555NR laptop. It got to a point that the speed was way too slow. I did some research over the Internet and found that Crucial had the best price on Amazon.com at the time, so I ordered the 2GB RAM set (1GB x 2) which was the maximum RAM allowed for my laptop. The result was WOW!! It runs like a new machine. Definetely worth the money I invested. I'll give it a five star.

Easy installation into mhy laptop even though I had never opened a laptop until now. This Crucial memory holds up to the Crucial reputation for being the best. If you need more memory for your laptop and can use the 2GB set this is the one to get.

Works great in my Asus 1005HA!Had to boot holding F2 (as reported in other reviews) to get it to recognize the new module. If it doesn't go into the bios (blue screen), but rather a boot menu, then you didn't hit F2 fast enough.

two week ago I bought Asus EeePC 1005HA. Last week I ordered the 2GB 800 Mhz memory and received it. Today, I replaced the 1 GB with 2GB without any problem. It took me about 10 minutes or so.. After I installed the new 2GB, turned on the computer, it still shows ".99 GB of RAM" under My Computer in System information. I even reinstalled the memory. It still shows, ".99 GB of RAM" (I turned off and restarted the netbook, still no change. AM I SUPPOSE TO DO ANYTHING ELSE? I thought the system should detect the updated memory?? ANY SUGGESTION? THANKS.

Ordered this late last week and arrived today, a Monday. Great shipping. Saw immediate and pleasing results after boot up. Desktop apps ran faster--You Tube ran smoothly---not so hot before ram increase. Very pleased with the results. I have never had trouble with Amazon. Great prices, shipping and all-around service.

We bought this SDRAM for our new Acer netbook. The memory bay was a little difficult to access but, once opened, it was easy to remove the 1 GB and insert the new 2 GB of RAM. The packaging shoud receive the "Clamshell" award for difficulty in opening. Use heavy duty scissors.

Just upgraded my Asus EEE PC Seashell HA1005 netbook without a problem. Opened the door on the bottom of the unit, removed the original memory, inserted the new 2 gig card. Turned on netbook and it recognized the new memory without any problems.

It was matter of seconds to install this memory to Toshiba Satellite L300 laptop (the laptop came with VISTA and 1GB RAM). The memory works great and the laptop (now with 2GB ram) ticks much better.

Really easy to install. I have limited computer experience, but I can't tell there was much difference after upgrading from a 1GB notebook with this 2GB product. There have been no problems with the product.

I, too, bought this to replace the 1G memory for my Samsung NC10-14G. I would have given it a higher rating for ease of installation but because I had not changed out a memory card, I was worried that I would damage it, I had minor problems getting it in correctly. The cover for the Samsung was hard to get off and you have to make sure that the memory card is seated properly but when it is insertly correctly, you know it. Once it was in, I turned the computer on and tested it out. Everything worked perfectly and I could immediately see a difference. I am very satisfied.

This was extremely easy for my husband to put in our aspire one netbook. The only thing is that we were supposed to receive a free flash drive that we never got.
