Used to upgrade RAM in Dell Inspiron 6400. Have had it for a fewe weeks now. No problems faced in installation- BIOS said the memory was different amount, performed a few checks and then was good to go. Would advice one to look up compatible RAM on crucial website before performing upgrade. My chipset supports a single piece of 2GB RAM but Dell somehow recognises only 2x1GB. Had to return the 2GB I had originally purchased and get the 1x2GB set.

Short and sweet...Bought it with my Acer Aspire One to double the OEM RAM.Made a world of difference!Ease of installation depends on the computer manufacturer's instructions and engineering, it upped the speed of a netbook that is used in place of a fully configured audio/video production tower.Packaging of the product is in that darned annoying thick blister plastic which is almost impossible to open without scissors and leaves sharp edges. Have a few band-aids available.Looking to put some zip into your netbook/laptop?Buy this!

I bought this memory kit to enhance my ASUS Eee PC 900A.PROS[+] Compatible with ASUS Eee PC 900A[+] Fast and simple installation[+] No problems encountered after installation[+] Instructions included in package[+] Inexpensive ($25.47 at time of purchase)CONS[-] Clamshell packagingAfter receiving this memory kit, I simply opened the bottom panel of the ASUS Eee PC 900A with a screwdriver. I followed the instructions to remove the old memory and install the kit I ordered, then replaced the bottom panel. This process took less than a minute.After installation, I turned on the ASUS Eee PC 900A, and the netbook acted normally. I didn't encounter any problems after that.My only gripe with this product is that the memory kit is stored in clamshell packaging, which is annoying to open. Otherwise, this is a great product for the quality and price.

When I purchased my Asus eee PC 1008HA, Amazon showed that customers who bought that particular netbook also bought this additional RAM memory. Don't - big mistake.At first I couldn't figure out how to open the PC case. Finally I found a demo/instruction on YouTube;, however, you practically have to disassemble the PC to install the memory card.My advice, the PC is plenty fast as is for its intended use -- don't risk tearing it up by installing the extra memory.

About a month ago I got 2 chips of this RAM for my Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop, my laptop is SOOO much faster now that it has 4 GB of RAM (3.15 GB or something on Windows x86 but who cares, 3.15 GB>2 GB), plus it was cheap, easy to upgrade, and hasn't died on me. The price was VERY GOOD too. Now the only thing I need to do is get a new DVD drive to replace my dying one and I'm all set (I have Win7 Pro on there from MSDN and it works great!!).Just one more thing, if you're getting this for the same laptop I have, you will get an error message from the BIOS when you install the RAM, just wait like 2 minutes and that will go away.

I bought this at the same time as the Acer Netbook my daughter wanted. I installed it myself in 39 seconds, no problems. Seems to work fine, very pleased.

Easy to install once I accessed the manual on line, but the Toshiba netbook would not recognize the upgraded memory. Had to replace the orginal.

I purchased this item from newegg, I got the 800Mhz very for my Asus. I made a slight improvement, but I think the 667Mhz would have been a better choice. Either, I recommend that you get this upgrade for your netbook. Its a small price to pay for more/better performance.

I ordered this for my MacBook Pro which I purchased in mid-2006. I found that it did speed up my computer a bit. However, just yesterday, when I tried to quit Safari, I got that rolling pinwheel and thought, uh oh, this is not a miracle worker.

Got this memory module for my Samsung N120 Netbook. Installation was super easy, just removed the memory cover, popped-off the original 1MB memory module, replaced it with this one, powered it up and it is automatically recognized and working. Cannot be any easier.

if you buy a samsung n120 netbook, this is THE upgrade you need. I have 2 n120's (because it's better even than the new models) and in both I did the crucial 2gb upgrade. It worked flawlessly, with no problems at all.

I got it to upgrade a friend's Toshiba NB205 netbook to 2 GB RAM. It's running Windows 7 and it immediately recognized the RAM, no need to fiddle with BIOS or anything.

If you are thinking of purchasing a netbook I highly recommend getting the 2gig ram. It's a snap to put in and you'll notice the difference right away.

I got this for my Inspiron 9300. It is still a slow computer, but startup/shutdown times have definitely decreased (a good thing). I was debating on getting a new laptop, but this memory upgrade has changed my mind, as my old laptop is now usable again. It isn't a "fix all", but it does do everything that good memory is supposed to do. A very good value for the money.
