Boots up 16% faster than 1GB alone. Shuts down in almost half time!Can multitask more programs with less hard drive diarrhea.No memory leaks, easy to install, fresh in the package.I only had to struggle for awhile trying to get it out.All in all I give this product 5 stars!If time is money don't do free ship. I waited nearly 2 weeks.Be sure to check your comp's RAM limitations.

I purchased this memory for my Gateway LT2030u netbook. Even though the frontside bus speed of the Atom 1.6 Ghz processor is only 533 mhz, the 667 mhz memory works fine. I know that I won't get the benefit of the faster memory, but it was cheaper than the 533 mhz memory and it also came with a free 4 GB SDHD card! I could not find a price locally anywhere near the price Amazon wanted for it, so don't waste your time. Just buy it!

This has made a world of difference in the speed of my PC and all the extra space is a plus. I rate this as a five star buy.You need to do this to change your PC into hyper drive.If you need it now! Amazon.com can deliever it the next day---so what you waiting for? It's time to put your PC into hyper drive!

The Crucial 2GB RAM is performing great. I am very pleased with the RAM and how much it has improved the performance of my laptop. The RAM shipped quickly and was very fairly priced. I would recommend it to others.

I received this item 2 days after I ordered it. I plugged it into my laptop and began using it immediately (took about 10 minutes). It functions just as I expected. I doubled the size of my ram (up to the max my computer can handle) and noticed an increase in my computer speed. What I was interested in was to decrease the wait time for when I open the internet browser until the home page appears. I can't put a number on the time saved but the computer now acts smoother and performs cheerfully instead of begrudgingly opening a web page.

I purchased this RAM for my notebook - easy to install and started up quickly. Manufactured by the same company as the original equipment with my notebook. Not much to add - RAM is neither beautiful nor apparent like a new mouse or notebook skin color, but it is needed and this fits the bill. Highly recommended and easy to install.

I bought this card at the same time that I bought an ASUS EEE 1005HA. 2 netbooks, 2 cards, multiple customer service and tech support calls later, I still do not have a functioning netbook. The short of it is that these cards do NOT fit well into the ASUS EEE 1005HA, and in the process of figuring that out, the cards KILLED the netbooks. I had to ship my netbook off to ASUS to have it serviced under warranty.

I have bought Crucial memory before and had no problems at all. As usual, this was a very simple upgrade that made a noticable difference in the speed of my Toshiba netbook. For the price it's a worthwhile upgrade.

If you're installing this in an ASUS Netbook, you have to install at 45 degrees, and push it in harder than you're expecting to. If you don't do this, you could get a black screen with no idea why.

just open it the cover of the memory card and take out the 01 GB hold off the clip on the right and left side,push it properly inside the slot for the 2 GB memory card with open/hold the holder on the right and left side and closed again the cover. that's it.but don't change the memory card 2GB from the 1 GB if you are not yet set up first for the NEW COMPUTER for the OS, because it doesn't work if you change it without set up the new computer first. Let the RAM working first with the 01 GB Memory Card then Change it with the 2 GB memory card.

I got this to upgrade the RAM on my Gateway LT2108U from 1GB to 2GB. It didn't work and the laptop now doesn't boot up.

I highly recommend getting this ram if you have the ASUS EeePC 1005HA. Installation is super easy. All you do is unscrew the back and take out old ram and insert new one. Turn on your computer and it will install automatically.

I purchased one for myself and one for my wife's netbook.I did tweak mine it did seem a little faster. Not sure if my wife noticed a difference. At least I know I have max memory in it. I just need to do some tweaking for optimal performance. I can watch Hulu full screan and on hi res no problem. : )

Crucial has a really good reputation and this product is no different. The hardest part was taking the cover off of the NC10. It requires a bit of finesse to get it off. Check [...] for how-to's. But once you get the cover off just move (outward) both tabs holding the old, 1gb memory in place, pop it up and remove. Take new 2gb memory and install sticker side down. Make sure memory is all the way in, press down and the tabs will lock into place. Turn on NC10, press F2 to make sure the computer recognizes the 2gb memory and save...and you're done! The whole process took less than 2 minutes. There is a noticeable improvement when moving between and using applications. Cheap and effective. It doesn't get any better (and easier!!!) than that. get it already :)

It works...but sometimes not. I had bought this module for an ASUS 1005HA and when I installed it, after I had done the initial start up and had shut down the netbook,it failed to recognize anymore than 0.99gb of ram. After doing a bunch of things like restarting, removing the battery, and trying to refresh the system....I got help from my friend. He told me to check the bios and so I turned the thing on and jammed on F2 till the screen came up...and lo and behold it recognized the 2gig module. Then, without doing anything other than look at the general screen to see that it's recognizing all 2gb, we continued on and loaded windows. And when we checked the system properties, it magically recognized it. So, I guess if anyone gets the 2gb of ram for an ASUS 1005HA, then I would recommend installing the ram first, before even turning the thing on.

This product is great overall.Only one thing to note, not necessarily bad though, that the installation video from crucial did not emphasizethis point and may frustrate you a bit. You have to put the chip deep enough to engage the chip with yourmachine. Otherwise, the machine does not recognize it and you will have error message, sounds like it does notwork. So if you find the same problem, just take the chip off and make sure you put the chip back deep eough to thevery end before you press it on.

Works as advertised. I personally made the mistake and bought this module where as the old module I removed from my net book was faster. It's a slight decrease in speeds. However its a net book I installed it in... Speed isn't a net book's forte. So that being said. it's perfect for what I needed it for.

Great buy (it literally took me longer to tear the thing out of the Victorian chastity-belt style plastic packaging than it did to install it in the computer). Was worried that it wouldn't work on a Gateway LT2005u netbook, but after swapping out the old memory, the netbook booted up just fine. A note on the Gateway LT2005u- the processing speed is only 533MHz, so anything over that is a little bit of overkill. This processor is 667MHz and works just fine; there is also an 800MHz processor 2GB listed on Amazon by Crucial (CT25664AC800) for those of you looking for a bump-up.

I upgraded the memory on my netbook with this board. It's easy to switch out if you know what you're doing or can find someone who does. It seems to make the netbook faster. So it' does its job as expected. Not overly expensive. I'd recommend.
