uneducated customers shouldn't do reviews... They scare away others... Horrifying to see a misinformed customer giving bad information to others... If you don't have a clue... *SHHHHHI've installed this on my own as well as several of my friend's netbooks... ASUS, Samsung, Acer, etc. Not once did i get a memory dump, BSOD, or errors with the RAM... This RAM WORKS.Yes this is the 667Mhz ram. Yes the 800Mhz ram is faster... but the performance difference isn't a big one... AND its only a speed difference! Your laptop isn't going to fail all of a sudden because its the "wrong ram"... unless you got a bad stick of ram, or you're an idiot who snapped the ram installing it...Contact AMAZON, or CRUCIAL for a RMA if its a bad one. Slap yourself if you broke it by accident.....But yeah... This stick of ram works fine in your netbook. Stop panicking. Just add to cart and checkout. If it really bothers you, and you'll sleep better at night, get it the 800mhz one... its only 6-7 dollars difference...If you really wanted a fast laptop... you really shouldn't be buying a netbook...

As uasual once again delivery was great. I have never been let down by things purchased through Amazon. I have read other reviews that stated this item was a litle complicated to install. I found mine to be easy I installed it in an ASUS EeePC 1000He netbook and had no problem with the install. There was no problem when I turned my netbook on and everything worked great. Runs quicker then before, not a super difference but still worth it.

Ordered this to upgrade my Gateway LT2119u 10.1-Inch Black Netbook from 1GB to 2GB. The first card I received was bad - computer would not even start as it only had the one card. Submitted a replacement request with amazon who were very quick about getting it out to me with 1 day shipping. Installed the second and it runs great and without problems. Just be aware when ordering this product it may take more than one go, but that is true for most RAM so it shouldn't come as any surprise.

I bought the Asus Eee PC 1005PE a month ago and it was suggested to get a Crucial 2GB 256M 64PC2-5300 CT25664AC667 DDr2 200 pin Sodimm memory. Well that memory didn't make any difference but it gave me trouble when turning it off as it would reboot or just wouldn't turn off. I didn't notice any better performance and I am back now to the original 1 GB memory. I noticed that this is still being suggested??? Can something be done about this?

This piece of memory does not cause an obvious change in the speed of my system. It is not worth it. Now I have an idle piece of 1GB memory (which worked pretty much the same as the 2GB chip) and I'm $50 poorer.

This does exactly what it promised to do. It adds more memory to my computer. It was easy to install. Took less than 5 minutes- including unscrewing the back of my HP Mini 110-1125. Can't say that it helps with battery life but the computer is a little faster and I don't have alot of concerns when I have several windows open. I would recomend this memory upgrade to anyone with a netbook who wants more memory. The item number of this is different from what Crucial recommended for my netbook but when I contacted them, the customer rep checked and said this was the same as what they were recommending. And this module came a few dollars cheaper from Amazon and qualified for free shipping. So I am happy and I saved a few dollars.

It's RAM. Actually may run a bit cooler than the 1GB strip I had in my notebook. It works. I would buy again.

Bought this module for my Acer 1410 w/ Windows 7, however, I didn't realize Windows 7 doesn't make use of the full 4GB (came w/ 2GB and my Home Premium is a 32-Bit OS - you need the 64-bit version to run 4GB or more) that this raises my laptop capacity to, so it was somewhat of a waste in the sense that I'm able to use more, but not quite the full 4GB. Windows 7 is utilizing about 3.3 GB of the installed ram, so I'm not unhappy. For the cost, I believe it was worthwhile. The module itself installed easily and was recognized in the BIOS right away. No problems w/ the item. Just should've done more research of my own.

I've upgraded a ton of computers, so it's a simple task. I originally purchased this for my Dell Zino HD (Inspiron 400) with Windows 7. Worked for several minutes. Then it died in the middle of me using the the Lightroom 3 Beta. Tried to reboot, but the computer would just beep without booting up.Had to take it out and replace with original memory, which worked. Swapped the memory back and forth a couple of times just to make sure it was a bad stick, which it turned out to be. Had to return it to Amazon.Got a better deal a few days later at Fry's for 2 sticks of 2GB (4GB total) of Kingston DDR, which has worked perfectly.I've gotten tons of Crucial memory in the past with no problems. But I guess it was my time to get a bad one.

It took about 10 seconds to remove the old Module and insert the new one !!! Very easy to do and I now have much more speed while I surf the web and listen to videos, etc. I love my old laptop again !!! I feel the price was good and it was very well packed for shipping. No problems, just positive experience !!Since it's so easy to add memory, I'm going to start adding to my netbook and my desktop too !!!

Popped 2 of these (i.e. 4GB total) into my Dell Latitude D630 over a year ago in place of a single 1GB.Pros:- Dramatic improvement in performance, as expected.- Great price.- Reliable - still going strong after a year with no known issues.- Very few BSODs (XP Pro) and I know the ones I did get were caused by Logitech drivers.Other notes:- XP only recognized 3.2 of the 4GB, since it only supports a max of 4GB addressing including address space for all the other system components such as display, ports, etc. (that used up the remaining 0.8GB). I could have probably done a 2+1 GB instead, but its not a significant difference in price, so I have no regrets.- If you're not sure what memory type your laptop supports, try the Crucial memory finder to determine the RAM specs compatible with your laptop model and then shop for those specs (irrespective of the brand you eventually choose). Note that laptop memory is 200-Pin and desktop memory is 184-pin. Also, DDR and DDR2 are not compatible with each other; DDR is much more expensive and that can't be helped.

A good value at Amazon. Anyone who buys a netbook will need this memory. If you are not well versed in computers you may not notice that most or all netbooks require all of the existing 1G memory that a netbook ships with just to run the basic features. Mine could barely run a program. Swapped out the memory to this 2GB and all if well. They must get the 1GB chips for free from the mempry chip syndicate! Good day.

Installed in five minutes on my Toshiba NB205 netbook. I had loaded Windows 7 and Office 2003 and was seeing some sluggish behavior. The new memory was detected flawlessly and brought performance to a subjectively snappy level. I'm delighted.

I purchased this for my Asus 1005HA netbook. It makes a noticeable difference in speed when I'm working on a lot of applications at one time. The only downside was that it didn't come with any instuctions and after I installed it it wasn't registering with my computer that additional memory had been added. I had to search the internet for a while to figure out what settings I needed to update on the netbook in order for it to recognize the additional memory. Maybe this is normal when you add memory but I'm not a computer person so this wasn't obvious to me.

I just bought a Dell Inspiron iM1012-799OBK Mini 1012 10.1-Inch Netbook (Obsidian Black) and dropped in a 2GB module (takes 5 mins) and compared it against my friend's Acer Aspire One - both running Windows 7 and it was amazing to see the contrast between 1GB of RAM vs 2GB of RAM. Netbooks aren't the speediest, but the netbook is more responsive and quicker between clicking/moving. Firefox/IE doesn't take its sweet time anymore and you're able to surf a lot quicker.There's no excuse not to get the most out of your netbook by getting a 2GB module.

Used this RAM to replace a 1GB stick in an Acer Netbook and it worked fine. Super easy to install and it was immediately recognized by the netbook running Windows 7. I would recommend this to anyone.

Worked great. Honestly I can't wait until companies stop using the press and seal type of plastic packaging that you have to work hard to open. RAM is great. My Dell Mini 10V is significantly quicker now. Installation was sort of a challenge, due entirely to how the Mini 10 v is designed. It makes you disassemble a large amount of the computer to get at the single RAM slot. Fortunately I found an awesome walkthrough that helps with that.

I purchased this for my Asus 1005PE-MU17 netbook..It made a DEFINITE speed difference..EASY installation-I went into the BIOS on first start-up (as recommended by some reviewers)..It was instantly recognized, then hit F10 to save..It's now pretty fast, even in "power saving" mode..THANKS Amazon and Crucial!

I bought this 2GB memory replacement for my Samsung netbook. I followed the simple installation guide provide by someone on the internet and it went very smoothly. Very simple, actually. It does seem to start-up a little more quickly, but it's still too slow for my liking. For the minimal investment, it is definately worth the upgrade.

My laptop (Dell Inspiron E1705) seems to be better. I didn't notice the difference at all, until I formatted and tried the new 2GB on a fresh install. Originally I had 768MB. Boot up time increased. Program access is still slow, but it is an older laptop with an Intel Core DUO 1.66Ghz...but the ram has worked out pretty well so far.

Believe me when I say "If I can do it, ANYONE can!" I am a complete technical idiot - especially anything having to do with computers. The directions to install this were so easy that I was able to install it myself without any sort of assistance whatsoever, and I got it right the first time. While the tech generation takes things like this for granted and installation of these types of things are a "no-brainer" for them, it is not so for my generation (mid-40s). I was a bit hesitant at first, but I refuse to be one of those people who is scared to try anything that intimidates me a bit. I am really glad I did. I installed this in my new Toshiba mini and it works great!

Hey i am reviewing to say for the HP Mini 210 netbooks, this card works well. I am glad i got it since it did increase the speed up a bit, but with that small change, it makes it also easier for you to run many multiple programs at any one time.-xrys
