I bought this memory. I was lead to believe it would fit me ACER ASPIRE ONE.( NOT )I was a little ticked. But now my nephews lap-top works great,lol.. I'll find one that works on mine and then I'll be happy. Guess I should dig a little deeper when I buy something. My fault. Love Amazon though, they have always been pretty good. DONE

This memory module works perfectly in a Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 Netbook and it is cheaper than Kensington. Windows 7 Professional and Microsoft Office 2007 Pro now runs smoothly with this little and unexpensive add (notwithstanding, the bottle neck always remain at the processor end (Atom N450, speed = 667MHz) with this 800MHz DDR2 SODIMM). The module is a bit cumbersome to install due the netbook design itself and its tight spaces (the RAM module is located behind the keyboard) You can check at Dell site for the procedure diagrams to change the memory module and disassemble the keyboard (Note: NEVER pry or attempt to disengage the keyboard pulling the keys!).

With great, but not excessive expectations, I risked everything, sort of, and decided to double my memory with this product. I expect the results would have been no different with any other memory similarly equipped, and thus Crucial is as good as any other, but less expensive. At any rate, I installed it without much effort except good light, and a steady hand, also with very small phillips screwdrivers, and hoped for the best. When my computer booted up as normal, I breathed a sigh of relief that I hadn't screwed up my MacBook to where it would show a small bomb with a lit fuse, something I hadn't seen since earlier Macs. So it works just fine, but I really can't see the difference in speed. If it's there, and I mentally hope it is at times, I have difficulty measuring it. Perhaps there are applications where it would make a difference, but I haven't found one; I don't do games, so that may be where I'd see it. Anyway, it didn't foul up my Mac, that's a plus isn't it?

Regardless of Amazon's recommendation this memory upgrade DOES NOT WORK with the Acer Aspire one model # AO532h. Your computer will not reboot since it does not recognize this memory card. Don't waste your money!!

I started a project to scan family photos using my notebook and the memory that came with it made the task a bit slow. After upgrading the memory the work is much faster, so it has saved me time and has made the project that much more enjoyable.

Crucial memory 2GB SODIMM for less than 40 dollar? way to go!!!From my own experience, Crucial memory have the least compatibility issue with diferent system manufacture.After install the memory to my son's 4 years old notebook, my sone told me his notebook is much faster now.

Amazon asked that I review the product. I installed it a couple of weeks ago into Dell Latitude, installation was physically a challenge since I installed two ram sticks, one below the motherboard the other above it, so I had to literally take apart the laptop, but would have regardless of what brand or size of ram stick I installed. I've read the Bios may have to be flashed, etc., nothing like that in my situation. I reattached the battery and booted up, which took 30 seconds longer than usual, and it's been seamless since then. I would recommend this to anyone running XP Pro in a Dell Laptop since that is the extent of my experience with this product.

I upgraded the 1GB memory in my just purchased Samsung NB30, Windows 7 Starter Netbook to 2GB with this memory replacement DDR2 module. Replacement was easy and the module works fine. I did this upgrade as a reactive task to earlier desktop and laptop upgrades. In hindsight, this upgrade might have been unnecessary. As advertised, Windows 7 is very memory efficient; while loading and using routine applications, memory usage rarely exceeds 1GB.

Mine installed and worked fine in my Samsung N150 netbook.My issue is whether the performance increase is real, or at least justifiable.The Windows 7 performance testing tool increased my score from a 4.3 to a 4.6, but in real life applications, I can't realize that much of a difference.Does anyone have any real benchmark comparisons?I run Vuze, and either with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, it still is slow as heck and cramps up any other programs to a stall, even something as small as running Windows Explorer.I know that netbooks are not meant for power programs, but I thought an extra 1GB of RAM would help a little.I do not see any real performance increase to justify the $60 price.

I installed this into my Samsung NC10-14GB 10.2-Inch Blue Netbook - Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life to bump the memory up to the 2G max these devices allow.The upgrade took less than 5 minutes, and my system was immediately up and running again without incident, and has run trouble-free since then (~2yrs). The extra memory makes the netbook much more useful to me, and I'm glad I upgraded.If this memory type meets your requirements, I'd recommend it.

Ordered for HP Mini 5102. Installed easily, no compatibility issues. Works great, netbook is faster and allows Windows 7 Pro to run pretty smoothly. Fast memory and great value for the money. I always trust and use Crucial brand memory. Hasn't let me down in five years and numerous modules.

Just upgraded the 512 RAM that comes with the ASUS 1000HA (I've had the laptop for nearly 2 years, so it's an older one) and found the process to be really easy- there are some good videos on YouTube that show you how to do it - it takes about 2 minutes. My laptop now boots up noticeably quicker; also find that it's less prone to stall when I've got multiple applications open (this is my primary laptop and I use it for business so I have a fair amount of apps on there now which I why I decided to upgrade). One piece of advice would be to make sure that when installing the new memory, you be sure to put the memory ALL THE WAY into the memory slot because it will click and sounds like it's securely installed even when this is not the case. This advice would have saved me a few moments of worry as my machine failed to boot after I thought I had installed the memory correctly. I definitely recommend the product.

I used the Crucial website to determine what ram I needed for my Lenovo T61. I was thrilled to find such a value on Amazon.I doubled my ram in my computer and it continues to work well. Great purchase.

I got this to upgrade a first generation White Macbook. Installation was simple and the chips were recognized. The Macbook (now running Leopard) has noticeable less lag in running apps.

I just purchased this product for my HP Mini 210-1055NR. At first, it would not boot after installing the memory. I thought that it was DOA, but then I read a review saying that you need to update the BIOS for the HP Minis for it to work. A few minutes later the BIOS is updated and it is running smoothly with the new RAM.

It's a decent stick of ram that does what it's told. It gets pretty hot in my HP Mini 1030nr, but has no serious problems. I haven't noticed any difference in battery life. My computer is much faster now and I've seen a great performance improvement. It had a pretty swell price tag for 2 gigs.

Installed and works great in my IBM Thinkpad T43p. Dual channel mode was enabled, but speeds defaulted at the PC2 4200 equivalent (not PC2 5300), since that's the hard upper limit in that particular Thinkpad model. Timings were 4-4-4-12 (however, they will be 5-5-5-15 if you run it at the PC2 5300 rated speeds).I also ran Memtest86+ for about an hour with no errors.Highly recommended.

There isn't a whole lot to say about RAM, either it works as it should or it doesn't. There was a definite improvement in the performance of my netbook after this was installed, so I'd say it does. It arrived in a timely manner, packaged well, no issues, no problems. Installed it, noted increased performance, and haven't had to think about it again.

Ordered this memory to upgrade my HP laptop. Initially, I was a little apprehensive whether this will work for the HP DV5T as the Crucial website referenced another part number. However, after doing some research I felt that this will work for my laptop. Arrived on time and was easy to replace the existing module. After boot-up laptop identified the memory without a problem and it has been working fine for about a week now.

Excellent product and installed with ease. Had no problems installing in my Dell Dimension E510. My Intel D Duo Core processor recognized the increase in RAM right away. I have had it in for several weeks now and works flawlessly.

i bought this ram on sunday and i got it midday on tuesday, and i dropped it inside my lt2030u, no instaltion required just poped in, and imediate performance improvement, looked at my system and it recognized 2gb of ram, it helped my netbooks performance by about 150%, and not exagerating, i love it, instalation took about 1 min, and the difference is dramatic, it runs as fast as my brothers desk top with the same 2gb ram and a dual core AMD, i would definetly recomend this to anyone, just what i needed

I recently bought an Acer 10.1" netbook. I upgraded the Acer from 1GB to 2GB using this memory module. Thanks to the engineers at Acer they at least provided a quick door to the memory card slot. I simply swapped the 1GB module for the 2GB module and started up the Acer. Since this was its first boot it configured itself while prepping XP-Home and the other stuff on the netbook as if it always had 2GB of memory.As for the practically brand new and never used 1GB memory card I have left over maybe in a month I'll feel daring to disassemble my Acer 8.9" netbook and upgrade it to 1.5GB. ;-)The memory, in any case, works perfectly. That and Amazon tossed in a 4GB SDHC card for free to sweeten the deal.I don't know what more can be said about the memory. No crashes, runs as though it was always there, system runs smooth and so forth. Just make sure you don't get all touchy-feeling with the card and make sure you're grounded. That and not making sure the card is seated in the slot properly are the main reasons why memory fails.

Bought this as part of the Amazon package with an Asus Netbook. Works fine, no setup hassles. More than enough memory to run most anything under WIN XP. It's probably mandatory for that tragic WIN 7 version that comes on the newer models (even more so when you get disgusted with that and upgrade to WIN 7 Home Premium).Had a bit of a problem figuring out the installation (there are no instructions with the chip or in the netbook docs) but, even so, it took less than 10 minutes.Cheap horsepower for your netbook.
