This is truly a great product. I purchased this for my HP Mini 210 1030NR netbook that I bought earlier from Amazon.com. At first when I installed the module it caused the computer to keep restarting and I hoped it wasn't defective. Then I realized it may have just been because the BIOS was outdated. Surely enough that was the source of the problem. Once I updated it and reinstalled the module it breezed right on into Windows 7 Starter. Now I have a speedier netbook without having to worry about it freezing up and moving sluggish on me during usage.I recommend this product greatly but just be sure to update your BIOS first prior to installation to prevent the computer not recognizing it fully.

I bought this product for use in my Toshiba NetBook 305. I needed this because when I installed my anti-virus software the 1GB was just too sluggish running both Windows 7 and the anti-virus. The product arrived ahead of schedule and I was excited to install it. This was 100% compatible with my netbook and SUPER easy to install. Two clicks to take out the old 1GB and two clicks to install the 2GB. I turned on my laptop and it ran 1,000 times better than it had previously. No glitches or anything. It has been 2 and a half weeks and everything is running perfectly and have had as many as 7 windows open at once.

According to my daughter it makes things "get along" faster on her ASUS eee pc 1018PB netbook. She had programs hanging up prior to upgrading from the standard 1GB to this 2GB memory module. It's a shame netbooks are not permitted to be sold in the USA with 2GB of memory (thanks Microsoft).ASUS Eee PC 1018P-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook (Black)

RAM is pretty standard anymore. I installed this with absolutely no problems. It worked perfectly when I started the computer. No problems since. I can highly recommend this product.

I just installed this 2 GB memory to upgrade my new 1005PE-MU27 Netbook (1 GB). It was installed very easily, just follow the instruction. However, after re-boot, the netbook did bot pick up the new 2GB in the computer system...quite disappointing! After searching in [...], I laerned that you need to hit F2 (right at the reboot, then F10 (even though the screen still showed 1GB), after you hit F10, then the system re-boot. It showed 2 GB in the System!Must be the Window 7 ...it finally capture the 2GB ram. So, if you are really lucky, you may not need to hit any F2 then F10 (as one viewer said). But, if you are like me, you will need to do that. Good luck!

I had this old Dell Inspiron Laptop for over 5 years and now it starts to get very unbearable slow for the many applications which need more memory than the 1GB capacity that it came with when I ordered this machine. After adding the extra 1GB on the laptop, now everything is running much smoother and more responsive. I think I just have a quick solution of extending the usable life of this machine for another couple years which this low costs upgrade. I highly recommend that you check on Crucial Memory upgrade when you need to add more RAM to your machine. Crucial makes very reliable and affordable high quality memory for your computing needs.

The recomendation was to buy in pair but I already had 2gb installed on my Dell 1545 laptop. I installed this 2gb memory and my laptop had no problem recognizing it. My computer now shows the 4gb which is max on this model computer. I do notice a performance upgrade, and am very satisfied with my purchase.

I needed some more memory in my laptop, running Windows 7, and I have always been pleased with Micron's Crucial memory. So I was pleased to see the memory for my laptop at a great price for the Crucial memory stick. Opened up the laptop, swapped a 1GB stick for this 2GB stick, closed it up and was up and running.

I purchased this to update the RAM for a netbook that I purchased. I was not happy with the Netbook, so I returned it, and ended up getting an Acer Aspire 1410. The speed of this RAM is a little faster than the other 2gb stick in the new Netbook, but the computer down clocked this ram to run at the same 667 speed. No blue screens, works fine. Shows up now as 4gb in my Win 7 64 Bit OS. Good brand, good quality, packaging sucks to get into!!!! Would buy again!

If you're not sure what memory goes into your computer, [...] has a "memory advisor tool" to tell you. Very easy to use.Upgrading the memory is the cheapest and fastest way to increase the performance of your laptop. I had 1 Gb of installed memory, and the most that Windows XP Home will recognize is 3 Gb. After a little research, I found out that I didn't need to install matched pairs, and I could install a 2 Gb memory chip and keep my existing 1 Gb chip to max out the memory.Installing the memory module was easy. I went to the support page for Lenovo, and they have instructions (and even a video) to show you how to do it. I expect that most major brand-name computer manufacturers likewise have support pages that instruct on how to remove and install memory modules.For me, all I had to do was remove the battery, unscrew four screws, pop out the palm rest (that was the hardest part), unhook the connector cable from the palm rest to the system unit, and insert the memory module until it snapped into place. Then I reversed the steps and was done.After installing the memory, I ran some memory tests. MemTest86 is one of the leading memory testing programs for free, and you can download for free from their website. If you are a Windows user, you can also download and use Windows Memory Diagnostic from Microsoft's webite for free. Windows Memory Diagnostic runs some more thorough tests. Use a search engine to find these programs.Given my five-star rating of the product, the outcome of the tests should be obvious: no errors.

I was about to buy a 1GB set direct from Crucial but I thought I would look around for a better price. I found this set on Amazon that was twice the size for about the same price... it was a no brainer and now my aunt's laptop is blazing fast compared to what it previously was.Just a quick note though, be sure you know what you are buying because you may get stuck with it if it's not the correct item.

This ram works great on my acer aspire one. I only installed last night but only took minutes. After restarting my netbook it seemed to recognize it right away. As for how fast my netbook runs now well its not this amazing difference where your going to get lighting fast speed out of a netbook but lets put it this way once you install this item you'll notice how slow your netbook really was!

Although this module was listed as being compatible w/ my laptop specs and operating system, my computer would not recognize it. So, unfortunately, it would not work for me.

I have an Acer Aspire One D250 netbook that came with 1Gb of RAM and Win XP. When I updated my OS to Ubuntu 10.04, I replaced the RAM with the 2Gb RAM module.The netbook ran like a DOG on Win XP, and I would not recommend investing any more money for a netbook that runs on Windows. Netbooks are intended to be low-cost entry-level systems, primary for surfing the internet and email.But moving to Ubuntu justified the additional RAM, and now the little netbook now runs like a rocketship.I have had no issues with the product - it works as intended.

Not much to say about memory. Either it works or it doesn't. This stick went in a Toshiba NB255 netbook. Install took less than 5 minutes, the NB255 recognized it immediately (Crucial's memory guide had it right) and it definitely improved performance.

Works with my ASUS eee PC 1015PEB - an elusive model running Win 7 Starter that not even the Crucial Memory Scan on the Crucial website could identify. They recommended this module as a close match only.I'm happy to report that it works. Installation was a snap, the system recognized the 2 GB and the increase in performance is noticeable. Before, I could watch internet video only with the smallest screen setting otherwise it was choppy. Now I can go to full screen (non-HD) and things play smoothly. Very happy.
