Our Toshiba mini NB205-N325BL came with only 1GB of memory and to really get it to perform faster we needed to add the max upgrade to 2GB but I was concerned with the intricacies of opening the back of the computer to do this myself.In retrospect, it was one of the easiest things to do, after removing the battery and releasing the memory card clips, the old card popped up and out and the new card was inserted with some steady pressure to seat it and the clips refastened. Insert the battery pack and once turned on the computer immediately recognized the upgrade and overall program handling as well as speed was noticeably improved.I would recommend this notebook chipset for function, value and ease of upgrade.

My 6 year old Gateway laptop is "YOUNG" again!! Ten minutes after recieving these new memory cards, they were installed and the laptop responded as if it was a new machine... GREAT product, and I avoided the high cost of replacing the laptop...

Just received the Crucial 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module today and it couldn't have been easier to install in my ASUS 1005HA. I noticed improved speed instantly. Programs open much faster as well as my web browser.A few notes:- make sure you have a #0 screwdriver. (I didn't and had to run to Home Depot)- I've read on many forums that the memory wasn't read post-installation, which was the case for me. Simple fix, restart and press F2 during start up to open BIOS, then just save and exit. The memory will show up once your OS starts up.

This was a much needed memory upgrade for a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. I went from 1G to 2G (max). The system runs much more efficiently (it was constantly freezing before the upgrade). However, I did expect it to be faster than it is but I believe it's just a Vista software issue and not the memory type. The memory was easy to install, recognized by the computer, and works fine.

When I first go these, my system would freeze after about 8 to 10 hours of just being on, with only occasional use through out the day.After much research, I found that you cannot really let your bios run these in "Automatic" mode, you need to specify the settings and the voltage. I changed the settings to 5-5-5-15 and set the voltage to "High" (required is 2.2V, but my bios only had "low"/"med"/"high"), and it has been running perfectly ever since.I really think that most people that have reviewed these poorly, here and in other sites, is because they did not configure the bios to the proper settings...Also, be sure that you have good ventilation in your case, as high performance memory runs a bit hotter.The light show though, very very nice...

Got this memory module to upgrade my Acer Aspire One D250 netbook from 1GB of RAM to 2GB of memory before upgrading it from Windows XP to Windows 7. The new memory went in easy and without any trouble. Of course, that is just as much a good review of the Acer netbook design as it is for the memory. It has sped up the way my netbook responds so much I've put off upgrading the OS. Things I didn't think were all that slow (running MS Word 2010, for example) are much snappier with dialog boxes and software tools opening instantly instead of after a one or two second delay.If you need to upgrade your netbook or laptop, this memory works just fine.

I upgraded my imac from 2GB to 4GB of Ram and noticed a huge difference when using multiple software programs at one time. Awesome improvement for little money! Would suggest this Ram and Very easy to install!!

###Warning### This may be the greatest product ever, but I want to document a problem which can be very misleading to mini 210 owners (NOT HD!!!!).I bought this memory for my HP mini 210-1040NR (NOT HD!!!!). After seeing positive reviews from other mini 210 owners, I decided it was a safe buy. WRONG! It doesn't work for my model despite the fact that crucial states that it does on their own website.This memory (PC2-6400) is 800Hz while the stock memory is 667Hz. I have seen lots of information online which states that the 800Hz stick will work. Maybe it does for Mini 210 HD owners, hence the repetitive (NOT HD) warning. I thought a higher speed would give better performance. Instead, it's no performance.Like I said, this could be a great product but it's not for me. HP doesn't even say that this model's memory can be upgraded even though it can be. I will be exchanging this memory for the 667Hz version because I have seen positive reviews of that product where users have bought it after making the same mistake I did. The problem is that there are no negative reviews for this product warning other users.Thanks,CB

I purchased 4gb (2 sticks of 2gb) of these right here on AMAZON in order to upgrade my Thinkpad x100e. Initially my THinkpad came with only 1GB of RAM. Boy, was it slow! The installation is very easy, and the computer acknowledged it instantly when I booted up.The difference from 1gb to 4gb is like night and day. My boot time and logoff/sleep time has decrease dramatically, and everything is just much much faster. I was contemplating on replacing my hard drive with an SSD, but now Im having second thoughts... cuz its as fast as i need it to be at this point.(Its fast enough to not ever feel annoyed for everyday computing and work)Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Price was unbeatable, and its working like a charm.

I replaced the RAM in my Dell E1505 and had no issues. Very easy. Takes about 4 minutes to swap out. Simply remove the plastic cover on the bottom of the computer and push the two tabs outboard. The old ram will pop up ready for removal. Simply pull it out. Do this on both sides. Take the new ram and push them in the slots. Push them down and the tabs will snap into position, locking the ram in place. Turn on computer once its all back together and my XP found it right away. Select to dump memory and it will boot right up. I checked the hardware and it recognized all 2GB. I see a noticable difference in operating speed. Great product.

I bought this to upgrade my Asus Eee PC 1005HA. It worked great for several months; noticeably improving speed and performance. However, one day, my Asus refused to turn on. I was so confused- I didn't even consider the RAM failing was the cause of the issue- that I nearly returned the netbook. However, when I reinstalled the stock RAM module, the netbook was fine. I still use my netbook everyday, but the RAM module gathers dust on the bookshelf.

Upgraded my super crappy asus netbook! it made it faster! My first time installing a thing like this and it was easy. I messed up in the beginning and my laptop wouldnt turn on, but it was my fault haha, you have to snap it in real good!

Ordered this to replace the 1GB stick that came with my Asus Eee PC 1005 HAB.Works perfectly.Though with this machine, for some reason, you need to access the BIOS to have the computer acknowledge the full 2GB.I have a dual boot set up with Win7 and Ubuntu and neither OS recognized the memory right away or after any more reboots. Running the memory test from Windows Boot Manager also did not do it.On this machine you need to hit F2 right before the Boot Manager - if you miss it, hit escape then quickly tap F2 to enter the BIOS. You don't have to change anything in the BIOS, just save and quit. Once you boot back into Winodws (or Linux), the memory should be recognized.As I understand it, this is due to the Eee PC, not the memory itself.

Very happy with this purchase. Physical memory in my laptop was at 50 percent on start up, so you can imagine how it was after some apps opened. Added this memory and now it runs like a champ. Also pretty cheap hadn't bought memory in a while but it sure was cheaper than a new computer.Simple install. IBM Lenovo p60, dropped in, recognized on start up.

I purchased this to increase RAM in an older DELL laptop. One RAM slot is on the bottom and one is under the keyboard (sort of a pain).Put this in the bottom slot and another 1GB module I had lying around under the keyboard. System recognized a memory change on startup but it only sees the 2GB and not the 1GB under the keyboard. That's obviously not the fault of this module because it does see it and recognize it. I also understand Windows XP won't use more than 2GB anyways so it's not a problem. Very easy to install (not the under the keyboard option) and worked immediately. Laptop went from 512MB to 2GB so there was a definite and noticeable improvement.

It wasn't quite so easy to install the RAM as indicated. I suggest watching a few videos before attempting an installation of memory for the first time. I ended up having to get help from a friend, and the memory only installed if I left the battery off and turned it on plugged into an outlet only. Once that worked and my screen no longer turned on blank, I had to reboot and do the F2 F10 deal like other people said. I have an ASUS HP1005PE, so maybe it only happens with this model of netbook.

If you have an Asus 1005PE do not buy this RAM. Buy Kingston ValueRAM 2 GB 800MHz PC2-6400 DDR2 CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (KVR800D2S5/2G). The Crucial Technology CT25664AC800 2GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory Module was recognized by BIOS and Windows, but after a few hours, the computer would freeze and the display would break up into pixels and then go blank. The Kingston memory has been working perfectly for several days without re-booting.

Shipping took a little while via the USPS, but nothing abnormal for them. Once it arrived I put the module in and turned the computer on...nothing at all, so back out the module came and back in again it went with a noticeable snap this time. User installation issues now resolved, I put the "door" back on, locked the battery back in and presto, the computer came alive as usual, and also recognized the 2 gigs of RAM immediately. Works great so far!

I was impressed with the overall speed this memory added to my Dell Mini, but be prepared for some MAJOR work to install it. I thought it was like most memory where you have to unscrew a backing, pop it in and you're all set. Not even close! With the Dell Mini you have to completely remove the keyboard and do a TON of work to install this bad boy. Thankfully my tech-savvy brother-in-law was able to help. Make sure you fully understand the installation process before purchasing this memory!
