I got the memory less than 48 hours after ordering it. I just popped off the bottom of my HP Mini 210 - 1000, found the old RAM, removed it and replaced it with the new 2GB RAM. Was back up and running in less than three minutes. My netbook acts as though I just swapped out my Yugo for a Porsche! I'd recommend it!

I checked on crucial.com and this was the memory i got as a result from the scan on their website so to save a little money i got it here on amazon.i checked the reviews and it looked good so i got it.The order came fast, alot faster than expected. Well It didnt work after i had installed the card in my Compaq Presario F700 as the intsructions on every website and common sense will tell you.Now that im trying to contact AHC24, their email is all of a sudden no good. and their website sends you right back to this page.And if I had to make this decision again I would get it directly from crucial.com

It is working great. There's not much you can say about RAM. Crucial is a very reliable brand and they have a lifetime limited warranty. I purchased this RAM as an upgrade for my Mother's old computer. We installed windows 7 and are only using the the two 1GB RAM modules. Things are running great. This is the only brand that I purchase when I'm building a machine for someone else or even just upgrading what they currently have. I fell that I can always trust Crucial to be reliable and effective. I wished I could have gotten faster RAM for my mom's computer, but this is the fastest type her motherboard accepts.

I've been upgrading Ram in computers for 10 years now and just recently made the switch to Mac, and Crucial has yet to let me down. They are reliable and always compatible. My macbook never has a problem now with multitasking. I just wish it was new enough to handle 4gb. I work for an Apple store and a lot of my friends who are "geniuses" also recommend this brand. I'm very happy with Crucial.

We bought this to go with a Toshiba NB 505 netbook. The Amazon descriptions made it very difficult to determine which 2 GB memory card worked with that netbook, but this one seemed to match. Well, it doesn't! It's identical in every way to the 1 GB card the netbook came with, but there's a crucial notch in just the wrong place. It almost feels like they deliberately make it hard to find out which memory card you need. Don't get fooled!

The only thing I was missing to install Windows 7 on Asus Eee PC 1000HE. After the install, windows is up to date and running smoothly as it was with XP

The memory came in a nice sturdy blister package, the type that are oh so fun to open. The memory was as advertised and was not defective.

I upgraded the memory in my 7 year old HP tower from 1 gig to 2 and had no issues. The new memory was recognized right away and everything runs faster now, especially video capture and editing. This is the first time I used Crucial memory but it works great.

Crucial memory isn't the cheapest, but I've never had a bad one, new or old. I do computer consulting for a living, and use their memory because it makes me look good - and saves call backs.

I rated this a four in installation.I inserted the new memory and computer did not boot so I had to re install the old memory to get online to trouble shoot.I suggest to others to updated the bios before installing.The second install worked and I was extremely pleased with performance.

Wanted to buy 2GB RAM from crucial.com but they were out of stock. So came to Amazon and purchased it. Works perfectly fine on my Intel D945GSEJT board with Windows 7. Immediate benefit was I could watch videos without jitter. Packaging was good as usual from Amazon. So far working great.

Works great with my 13" 2007 macbook. There isn't a whole lot of difference between 1GB and 2GB of memory but it definitely loads applications faster and the fans are running a lot quieter now. Shipped quick and is a great value.

I have a HP Compaq 6720s and badly needed a memory upgrade.Compatible with my original memory of 1 gb PC2 - 5300 (333 Mhz). If you want to know your configuration use CPU-Z(Google it to download). After going through many brands and memory sizes, I decided this one was the best for the price.Package arrived on time (2 days with Amazon Prime) and product is working well so far.

boosting your pc's ram is easy, and improves performance, making it run faster, multitasking more efficiently. this ram is sort of the minimum I would use for this upgrade. It works just fine, and is well worth the money.

I got two 2GB mods from AMZ and the shipping was fast and free!I got this for my Dell latitude D520 which has a max RAM capacity of 4 GB, however it only recognized 3.5GB when i put in these mods due to the limitation of the DELL chipset (nothing to do with the RAM itself). Still worthy upgrade IMHO. Awesome purchase, now I can edit tons of pictures without my computer hanging on File paging forever!

This memory upgrade is fantastic for the price, considering just a few years ago something like this would have set you back several hundred dollars. I easily installed it in my netbook the other day, which is a Asus EeePC 1005HA.The installation for the Asus was simple: you unscrew the panel on the bottom of the netbook labeled "memory", unclamp your installed RAM, and then push this one into place. Make sure you ground yourself before installing it, and DO NOT get any moisture or food in the netbook or on the RAM, it will ruin it! If the clamps are not snug to the side groves, you've installed it wrong and need to go back and push it in further. This will be quite obvious when you turn on the computer and it doesn't start or you get a blue screen of death. You can check if the module is properly installed after you startup your system (if you have Windows XP) by right-clicking on "My Computer", selecting "Properties" in the menu, and seeing if the memory changed under system information. If you don't want to go through booting the OS, press the key that brings up the BIOS (typically F2) when you first start up the computer and check the system information. The specifics for other models are all available on Youtube. Just do a search for your model and "memory installation", and some kind soul will have posted some video instructions.So, what's the difference between this and the 667 Mhz model? Not much. You're not going to see a massive difference in speed from the upgrade, but it's worth the $3 extra if you can use it. The difference will only be obvious if you plan to overclock--which is possible on my Asus. I've noticed about a 5% or so increase in speed over PC2-5300 modules in other systems. Of course, your system has to be able to run 800 Mhz, or it's just going to run at 667 Mhz. It will not hurt your system to install the 800 if it can only use the 667, so don't fret if you're not sure what Mhz your system takes.Buyer beware: make sure that your laptop, notebook, or netbook is compatible with the memory module you buy! Obviously, the EeePC 1005 netbook line takes this upgrade, but some don't. This is a DDR2 200-pin SODIMM module, so if your system does not take DDR2 it won't work, and if it doesn't take 200-pin modules, it won't even fit in the first place! Most new computers do take DDR2, but always check for compatibility before you buy hardware. Don't take it for granted and wind up with a useless module!Overall, I recommend this. It's great for the price, and you get a free 1-year warranty with it. Until you open up your system and spit on the module, it's very rare that wouldn't know something is wrong with it after a year of use.

So it's been my experience memory either works out of the box, or it doesn't. This memory worked fine and 30 days later still does. Can't really ask for more than that.

I needed to add a little RAM to my Dell XT notebook. This was the right part at the right price. Installation was a snap. I booted the machine and it recognized the RAM right away. I'd buy this one again if needed. You can't go wrong with Crucial memory products.

I bought a Toshiba Netbook (NB505-N508BL) recently and my only issue has been high RAM usage. The netbook had a 2GB max RAM capacity in a single slot, with only 1GB RAM installed. This 2GB RAM card installed in a snap with only a small phillips screwdriver required. The netbook immediately recognized the upgraded RAM and performance has noticably increased. Very low cost and ease of installation. Would recommend this product to anyone.
