I bought it for my wife's computer (Gateway 6823a M series) which was miserably slow. Once I got these little sticks in the slot which was a piece of cake and turned her computer on... voil?.... It ran like a derby horse. Seriously her browsing considerably improved and booting time also decreased and no more frozen computer... I would recommend the product. Just do your homework about the upgrade options (check the number of pins on the ram ) for your laptop and choose the right ram. Crucial websites can help you find the right ram for your laptop.Enjoy fast computing...

Considering the expected time frame for delivery, this item arrived very quickly. I have a pre-unibody Macbook (2008, 13 in. white) that had two 512mb memory sticks in it. It was running slow, so the Apple store recommended this brand. They were easy to install and I noticed an immediate improvement in the performance of my laptop.Word of advice: I thought they weren't working because my laptop wasn't registering the memory. I was just being too timid when installing, afraid if I pushed them too far in I would break my laptop. You reeeeally have to shove them in there! Once I muscled-up, they were great.

This memory worked as expected but my laptop required a bios update to resolve an intermittant boot issue. After the update everything works great.

512MB Pentium 4 XP Pro computers feel brand new when you upgrade them with a 1GB of RAM. I'll be able to use these for another two years(or until I need to replace the powersupply).

Item was delivered promptly, well packaged. And it just works.I have purchased RAM from Crucial in the past, and will continue to do so. It may be a touch more expensive, but it works.

I know almost nothing about computers and was kind of scared because I love my new computer and didn't want to kill it. This is what you do because there are a few opinions and I had a hard time because I didn't know what to do at first. Once you do it is as easy as pie. TAKE OUT THE BATTERY. Next, take off the one screw. (I have an AsusEEE). Take out the old (go easy on the clips but it will come out with a little fooling around). Then put in your new ram with the sticker up. THE IMPORTANT thing is that it goes in on a 45degree angle and then you push down. You will feel it slip in as you push it in on the angle. If you try (as I did) to put it in straight it will just be loose in there. It will click into place. Then put back on the cover. Now people say to press f2. It is not necessary but you do it to see if the computer recognizes the 2gb. You can do this if you want. On the screen it will say that your system has 2000 mb or a little more. Good, that is equal to 2gb. Your done.

Crucial memory always gives me confidence. This one has no exception. It works fanatic.I also found that purchasing memories a crucial will cost more. I bought it at Amazon. You can check it out. Crucial part number for this memory is CT120109. But if you want to look up the detail specification at crucial, the actual part number is CT25664AC667.

Bought a couple for my wives ageing Compaq laptop. Received the product in time. Was easy to install on the laptop and is working well. The computer is quicker and we are happy with the upgrade. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a similar scale up. We have been using the "RAMmed" up laptop for about 6 months now, on a daily schedule. Keep in mind it should be easy enough to self-install a RAM on most laptops and there are plenty online aids to do this. Just google!!

I ordered this memory card for my ASUS 1005HAB netbook. I had upgraded the OS from XP to Windows 7 and I wanted to up the memory from 1GB to 2. The installation was very easy and I could immediately see an improvement in the computer's performance.

I bought this ram for an Asus 1005hab netbook. When I booted up my computer Windows 7 recognized it right off the bat. No issues whatsoever. Great memory at a great price.

As plug and play as it gets...doubled RAM from 2 to 4 gb...once installed,there was discernible increase in processing speed. Good product.

I installed this on a Dell laptop running Windows 7 and immediately noticed the speed increase. It was really easy to install, like 5 minutes, if that. The computer had no problem recognizing the memory and performance has improved tremondously. Not bad for $30. It works as it should, not much more to say. I highly recommend this product.

I bought the 2 x 1GB memory for my Dell E510. The PC, as I bought it, came with 1GB (2 x 512MB) of memory. I moved the original memory cards into the B slot (check out the documentation, this is important) and inserted the new cards in Slot A. Booted up and now I have 3GB of memory. Very Happy. And as always, shipping was quick.

For years my old "personal" laptop had been slowwwwwww. After I upgraded to this memory set, I noticed significant improvement in boot-up time and seamless working when before the thing would freeze on and off as I was using it.I was a "snap" to install (quite literally...) and worked straight without any tinkering or changes.

This memory stick is exactly what I needed for my netbook. It's tricky to install; however, so you'll want to watch the YouTube video that describes how to do this (for the ACER Aspire One netbook). And yes, you'll need to remove the battery, and then remove the keyboard from your netbook to get into the guts of the computer. Then remove the screws as indicated, pop the door off, remove the old stick, put in the new one, put the door back on, reinsert the screws, put the keyboard back on, reboot with F2 to let the BIOS know about the new stick, and go from there. Your netbook will run much faster now.

I purchased this RAM card to upgrade my dell inspiron 15 from 3gb to 4gb. After installing it(which is very simple just a restart or 2 of the computer) I noticed an instant speed increase as far as opening up programs go.Best bang for your buck unless your pc allows you more ram

I have an ACER Aspire AO32H-2588 netbook which I bought in Tagrget about 4 months ago. Real nice machine but I felt it was a little too slow with only 1 GB memory installed. Picked up this product and I'm seeing a noticeable difference in speed. Web pages load much quicker and you can have more up at the same time. Took about 2 minutes to install. Carefully unclip the existing memory card, one clip on each side, and gently lift it up and pull it out. It will tilt up so you can grab it. Then install the new one. No need to do anything else on this machine. Nothing will pop up telling you the memory is increased. Just go to control panel and check that you now have 2 GB installed.

I was torn between buying the Crucial RAM or buying the 2x 1GB set from Apple due to concerns that (since Jobs is a nutcase) the Crucial wouldn't fit my mid-2007 MacBook white/function properly (recommended dimensions from Apple are slightly smaller than the dimensions listed here), but I'm glad I saved myself $50 by going with Crucial. Snapped in perfectly and was recognized as soon as I booted up my computer! Activity Monitor looks much happier since the upgrade from 2 512MB sticks, and the increase in speed is noticeable.Many people seemed to have issues with the shipping, but I received it within a week. I do agree that it could have been packaged better (only came with a couple of air packs), but it wasn't damaged so I'm not worried.The only concern if you're buying this for a Mac computer is that your machine may not recognize the Crucial RAM if you have to do a clean install, so just keep your old RAM as backup. I don't see that this would be a problem, but I have had to do a clean install in the past, so I'd rather be safe than sorry.Bottom line is that the Crucial RAM is half the price of the Apple RAM, it fits fine in their older MacBooks, and I've definitely noticed the increase in speed. I'm a happy camper.

This memory works perfectly as designed and has allowed my older computer some extra life. I am at capacity now. The memory was instantly recognized and there have been no compatability issues at all in my Dell Inspiron 6000.

This was exactly what it is said to be. I got the 2gb to refurbish an old laptop I installed it in under a minute turned it on and it recognized it. Will for sure be buying from this seller again.

I have an older MacBook Pro, from about 2007. It came with 2gb Ram, but it can handle 3gb maximum Ram. I bought this to replace one of the existing 1gb Ram cards. It worked perfectly, and the install took about 3 minutes. Noticed better performance right away.
